Teleradiology plays a vital role in the medical field, which permits transmitting medical and imaging data over a communication network. It ensures data reliability and provides convenient communication for clinical interpretation and diagnostic purposes. The transmission of this medical data over a network raises the problems of legal, ethical issues, privacy, and copyright authenticity. The copyright protection of medical images is a significant issue in the medical field. Watermarking schemes are used to address these issues. A gray-level or binary image is used as a watermark frequently in color image watermarking schemes. In this paper, the authors propose a novel non-blind medical image watermarking scheme based on 2-D LiftingWavelet Transform (LWT), Multiresolution Singular Value Decomposition (MSVD), and LU factorization to improve the robustness and authenticity of medical images. In this scheme, multiple color watermarks are embedded into the colored DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications inMedicine) images obtained from Color Doppler images (DICOM format), and the average results achieved by our proposed scheme is 46.84 db for Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), 37.46 db for Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), 0.99 for Quality of Image and 0.998 for Normalized Correlation for various image processing attacks. This paper evaluates the impact of teaching mathematics to school students using ICT and computer enabled learning. The study is based on pre-test and post-test study on Control and Experimental groups. The control group was taught by traditional method, i.e. without using any extra teaching- learning tools while experimental group was received teaching by ICT and computer as teaching-learning tools. The study was done on the students of 4 different schools of elementary grade standards. The data were collected using questionnaire format on different concepts like, counting, addition, subtraction and patterns. Pre-test data has been collected initially without giving any instruction to the students and post-test data were collected after classroom teaching to both control and experimental groups. On analysis, significant differences between the scores of control and experimental groups were recorded. The study shows that experimental group has better achievement which had received instruction by ICT with computer enabled learning in comparison to control group which was instructed without any teaching learning tools. Color image watermark has more bit information than gray-scale or binary watermark so it is a challenging issue to design a robust color watermarking scheme for content authentication. In watermarking schemes, the Discrete Cosine Transformation (DCT) is broadly used because its frequency component separation is very useful. Furthermore, LU Factorization has little influence on the visual quality of the image watermark. In this paper a LL Chaos and LU Factorization based Non-Blind Image Watermarking technique is proposed. This watermarking scheme is based on Discrete Cosine Transformation along with Logistic and Lorentz chaotic maps with LU Factorization for estimating the embedding strength and location.The experimental results reveal that this watermarking algorithm is robust against different image processing attacks to a certain degree viz. contrast adjustment, cropping and colouring. The growth of researches in the area of biological sciences over the past two decades has been dramatic. But, there has been a considerable low usage of IT in fishery sciences. Fishery sciences include not only facilitation of fishing but also incorporates heavy researches for their conservation, culture and drug research programs, etc. Today, one of the most developed and contributory works carried out is at ICLARM, Malaysia. They have got a very vast relational database on finfishes. This paper focuses the need and development of a Knowledge-Based System (KBS) for the fishery world. Knowledge-based methods offer the most flexible and expressive representation methods for the domain and for the type of applications that are required to be built. These systems have emerged as an important discipline which can further enhance the effectiveness and the productivity of the current system (Aakalu et al., 1991; and Shue and Lau, 1994). The paper concerns with the development of a knowledge-based management system capturing all the relevant data in its micro form and linking it using mathematical logics and relations. The following are the main goals: To allow knowledge researchers/scientists to update a knowledge base and have these updates persist on secondary storage; to allow multiple knowledge engineers to have shared access to knowledge base and modify the knowledge base concurrently; and to maintain consistency of the shared knowledge base as it evolves. The ease with which digital multimedia documents can be manipulated has always raised concerns about the possibility to reliably trust their content. Simple tools are available in everyone's PC that allows digital image modification, without leaving any detectable trace. Digital documents authentication is, thus, one of the most important and investigated security applications. Though cryptography tools are available, they basically authenticate binary streams and not their meaning. Thus, the interest for multimedia content authentication has increased recently. In particular, watermarking-based authentication schemes seem to be offering some advantages over classical cryptography tools. In this paper, a simple image-oriented chaotic algorithm, resilient to compression and filtering, has been proposed.
