The aim of this study is to examine the aggressiveness of the students who are studying at the Faculty of Education and the School of Physical Education and Sports. In this research, which adopted the quantitative research model, the relational search pattern was used. In this context, a total of 213 people, 104 female and 109 male, participated in the survey. The "Buss Perry Aggression Scale" was adapted by Can (5) to determine the level of aggression of participants in the study. SPSS 20 program was used in the analysis of the data. In the analysis of the data, T test was used to examine the difference between two independent variables and aggression attitudes. Pearson corelation was used to test the relationship between variables. According to the findings, it was determined that there is a significant relationship between the aggressiveness levels of the individuals and gender and type of sport that they made. It was seen that there was no meaningful relationship between age, the part of education, whether or not doing sports, the frequency of doing sports and the duration of sports. It has been determined that male individuals are higher in physical aggression subscale than female individuals. When the relationship between the department where they are educated and the aggressiveness is examined, it is determined that the students who are studying at the Physical Education and Sports are higher than the students who are educated at the 492 Faculty of Education in the physical aggression sub-dimension. It is determined that the students who play sports are higher than the students who play sports in all sub dimensions of sports students. As a result; the fact that aggression behaviors differ according to various variables, but the fact that there is not a statistically significant difference between participants who do sports and those who do not, is quite striking in contradiction with various theories in the field.

This research is conducted to examine the impact of Pilates and circuit exercise to some physical features and blood-fat. 22 women, ages ranging from 22 to 55 years, voluntarily participated into the study. The participants were requested to do 30 minutes long Pilates and circuit exercise three days per week for 8 weeks. Physical measurements and blood-value were taken in the beginning of the research and in the end of 8th week. For this purpose, body weight, body-mass index, fat-rate, chest, waistline, belly, hip size, heart rate, blood pressure, flexibility, flamingo balance test, and Harvard step test measurement of participants were made. HDL and LDL levels of the participants were determined by using the blood testing device in laboratory. Mann Whitney U test was applied in the comparison of the before and after results of exercise program. Body weight, resting pulse, BMI, chest, abdomen, hip and basal circumference, a significant decrease in the values and a significant increase in the flexibility values, body weight, chest, waist, abdomen, hip circumference, and the value of balance test, a significant decrease was found and the flexibility values significantly increased of cyclic exercise group. As a result, both exercise programs had a similar effect on some selected parameters on sedentary women.

The aim of the study was to determine and evaluate the effect of an 8-month step-aerobic and run-walk exercise on bone density and some physical characteristics as weight, total fat mass, total fat percentile and lean mass at sedentary females 14 sedentary females with mean age 37.4 voluntarily participated in the study. Subjects performed an exercise program lasted an hour three days a week for eight months. Exercise program consisted of 45/50- minute step-aerobic one day a week; 30- minute run/walk and 30- minute stretching two days a week. Total bone mineral density (BMD), total bone mineral content (BMC), T score, Z score, Total lean mass, total fat mass and total fat percentile values were diagnosed by dual X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) (Norland XR-46). Wilcoxon signed rank test was used for data evaluation and significance level alpha was set at 0.05. After the eight -month exercise program, it was found out that there was significant decrease in weight, BMI, and total fat mass (p lt;0.05). But the decreases in total fat percentile and lean mass were statically insignificant. Nevertheless the increasing in total BMD, T-score and Z-score were statically significant (p lt;0.05), while the decreases in total BMC value were statically insignificant. In conclusion the eight-month step-aerobic, run-walk and stretching exercises positively affected some anthropometric components as weight, BMI, and total fat mass. However the program didn’t affect bone mineral contend in a positive way. But the program provides a preventive effect on bone density. It is suggested that preparation of exercise programs with similar purpose should include resistance exercise forms as well.

This study aims to examine the effects of changing rules of wrestling competitions on the elite wrestlers' muscular damage levels. Twenty male wrestlers from the wrestling team established by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which competes in the 1st Wrestling League, volunteered to take part in the research. The age average of the wrestlers was 20.4±2.8 years, their average age of sports 7.45±4.29 years, their height average 173,8 ±4,97 cm, and weight average 77.4 ±16.22 kg. Some blood samples of 5 cc each were taken from each wrestler's forearm vein by means of the vacutainer (a closed blood taking system) for the two competitions separately before and after the competitions; and on 24th, 48th, and 72nd hours following the competitions in the research. For looking at the levels of Creatine Kinase (CK), Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH), Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), and Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), serums were obtained by centrifuging the blood samples those taken to determine the levels of the skeletal muscle damages of the wrestlers at 1000 RPM for 20 minutes. The enzyme levels of the blood samples (the serum of which was decomposed) were determined by the SIEMENS ADVIA biochemistry auto-analyzer using the SIEMENS kit. While the repetitive measurements were assessed via one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), the Bonferroni testing was applied in order to determine from which measurement times the differences were originated. The Paired Samples-ttesting, meanwhile, was performed in order to compare the blood samples collected from the athletes at same times for the both completed competitions having different rules. No significant difference was observed between AST and ALT values on the aminotransferase of the wrestlers according to two different rules (p˃0.05). Whereas significant differences were confirmed between the values of 48 hours after and 72 hours after the competition for the LDH values (p lt;0.05), no significant difference, on the other hand, were detected between other values (p˃0.05). Although significant differences were observed between the results obtained following competition and 72 hours after the competition for the CK values (p lt;0.05), there was no significant difference between other values (p˃0.05). Consequently, it was observed that when the wrestlers took part in two-day wrestling competitions, the basal values were reached 72nd hour after the competition, and no muscle damage remained, whereas when they took part in half-day wrestling competitions it was confirmed at the end of the 72nd hour that the LDH and CK levels of the wrestlers couldn't come close to the basal and the muscle damage was present (p lt;0.05).
