Abstract: This article proposes to reflect, in the light of Digital Humanities, on the influence of post-truth on the credibility crisis of science. The objective is to identify the role of scientific divulgation in the recovery of science’s credibility and combat post-truth and the possibilities of using social networks for scientific divulgation by public universities. When defining itself as descriptive, the research seeks to accomplish an analysis of the benefits and contributions that can result in the contextualization of the problem with the field of knowledge regarding the Digital Humanities. The results showed that scientific divulgation through social networks contributes to combating the effects of post-truth culture and, consequently, recovering the credibility of science. Finally, it was concluded that the protagonists actors in the promotion of scientific divulgation strategies are public universities, because they have the democratization of access to knowledge as a social commitment.

The work shows a process that starts from the digitization of cultural heritage and through analysis arrives at the subsequent diachronic holographic representation. The object of the study was the creation of two holograms of historical buildings: the church of St. Maria in Sovana with an interesting subsoil and the ruin of church of St. Francesco, attributed to Sangallo il Giovane in Pitigliano. However, the theoretical setting of the research is placed at due distance from the twin term. It has implications and meaning that are not matched by producing a digital copy, even a very high resolution one. The use of different cognitive technologies and the assembly of the various inputs in a digital model can never be defined as a twin of the original. Bearing in mind what has just been specified, the work was organized according to different levels of acquisition of cognitive data. Obtained from the survey and from historical studies the shape of the original state, a historical narrative interweaving of digital models has been created. The hologram is a three-dimensional and dynamic representation, which in the case of the church of San Francesco shows the reconstruction of the ancient architectural complex, visualizing the evolution of the studies of historical documents, up to the vision of today's ruin. For the church of S. Maria, the underground area is reconstructed through the geoelectric analysis of the subsoil and of the urban composition. Use of high detection technologies (GPR and HVNSR). The holographic of the artifact, promotes scientific divulgation and its dissemination sharing experience, it is not realized through device indeed, but thanks a holographic display

In the State University of Ponta Grossa is a reference institution in Paleontology in the State of Paraná, for being located on top of fossiliferous terrains of the Devonian and, mainly, by the tradition in research in this area since 1969. In 2020, the Museum of Natural Sciences (MCN) was created on the UEPG campus with the proposal to enhance the scientific collections of regional and state geodiversity and biodiversity. Among the material on display in this space, there is a set of fossils representative of the Paraná paleontology with didactic potential and also for tourist visitation. The MCN has the support of research laboratories and their researchers to advance in the communication of science and, in the case of fossils, the Laboratory of Paleontology and Stratigraphy of the Department of Geosciences supports the curatorship and scientific investigation of the museum. The MCN concentrates on the most representative fossils of the region, culturally valuing the university collection and bringing to the public the results of decades of academic research, usually not accessible to the community. This paper presents the characteristics of this paleontological collection.

The Insecta Class is the most diverse group of animals on the planet. A big part of this composition is available in the collections of Natural History Museums, being essential for researches and diffusion actions involving a specialized and lay public. This paper aimed to verify the importance of an entomological exhibition of a Science museum for the acquisition of new knowledge and conception change regarding insects. To this end, 128 fourth-graders from elementary school were asked to draw an insect and write a brief description of it in relation to their knowledge about insects. Then, they visited an entomological exhibition, and a week later, using the "stimulated recollection method", they made a new drawing and description. The extracted data were organized in categories and statistically analyzed. Significant changes were observe regarding the children’s knowledge and concepts on insects in most of the analyzed aspects, such as the decrease of drawings and descriptions of animals belonging to other taxonomic groups and an increase on correct descriptions of concepts.

- Abstract
The contact with science is very important to the development of a conscious citizen, even if he, or she, never work with. Astronomy is an excellent way to do this approximation, simply because everyone can see the sky and has questions about it. This project aims to use observational night to discuss the classroom situations. We have made interventions in a rural local school in Caçapava do Sul (Brazil) during five years which we explain what we will see and, after that, we observe it. Since 2018, we have used the Caçapava do Sul Meteorite, that available a direct contact with a real space rock, when everyone can test the resistance and the weight of this meteorite. During this time it was almost 2 000 people has been attending by us and we noted that the students had increased their notion and comprehension about science in general. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper deals with a critical analysis about alternative conceptions on force and motion in the Superinteressante Magazine. This analysis was based on a bibliography review about this subject, from Aristotle's natural motion theory to the three Newton's laws of motion. Afterwards, we made a comparison between the conceptions found in various researches about this matter and that of those thinkers. Guided by this review, we conclude that many of students' conceptions about force and motion are present in the magazine, but in a lower percentage, compared to those found in the review. The research outcomes show to the educators interested in their students' meaningful learning, special care when using this magazine as didactical resource.

The aim of this study is to discuss some characteristics of the diffusion of science taking the Biological Sciences as a central theme. Those books considered a commercial success in the Brazilian context and frequently mentioned by university students in classroom and in their papers, were selected for the analysis. The focus given to the research is an anthropological one, emphasizing that, in postmodernity, ideas flow in two parallel cultures labeled by Giddens (2002) as being the "safety culture" and the "risk culture."

Palavras-chave divulgação científica, jornalismo científico, jornalismo especializado Abstract The main purpose of this article is to point out linguistic phenomena involved in the transformation of interviews with scientists into news texts published by the daily press. For the analysis, we used sets of texts (interview-journalistic text) published by the Jornal do Commercio, that permited us to identify the main linguistic operations and the effects of this kind of transformation on the propositional content. Our analysis showed substantial changes between interview and journalistic text, but, in general, the main idea from the original text is preserved. The inexactness attributed by scientists to scientific news texts are much more a question of a change in the point of interest than a question of informational distortion. Although a case study, we believe that our conclusions indicate what frequently happens in the transformation of interviews into texts of scientific divulgation by the daily press. Key words scientific divulgation, scientific news, specialized journalism

We discuss the main problems which make a scientific text difficult to find, to be read or to be accepted by readers. A scientific text is considered a logical argument. Therefore, methods, results and data from literature are premises supporting the conclusions of the work; and in the "Introduction" session, the justification corroborates the objective of the study. This conception makes the text a hermetically coherent structure where only the necessary data should be included (some controversy is still pertinent). In a second step, we show formal mistakes in scientific writing which make texts less attractive. Thus, we give examples of errors or inadequacy of formal aspects of presenting titles, abstracts, results (figures and tables), and grammar mistakes in Portuguese (but also valid for English grammar). After that, we emphasize the need for writing in international language (English) and for publication in periodicals with international impact on the scientific community. Finally, considerations to improve the Brazilian periodicals in the biological area are presented.
