Before using concrete for a particular purpose, its strength must be determined because its physical properties vary depending on the type of supplementary cementitious material (SCMs). Initially, researchers anticipated it with statistical processes; more recently, they started implementing deep learning (DL) and machine learning (ML) models. This research employed ensemble machine learning (EML) approaches to predict the compressive strength (CS) of concrete developed for ground-granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) along with Alccofine 1203 (AF). Ensemble regressions of Random Forest Regression (RFR) and AdaBoost Regression (ABR) were considered for model prediction using the Jupyter Notebook. The models were created based on the outcome of the compressive strength under the 90 experimental conditions. Moreover, a comparative study was performed between the RFR and ABR to benchmark the proposed model against a given combination of features and CS. The experimental conditions were optimized using a genetic algorithm (GA) after the model was created by ANN. With the two EML algorithms, the smallest errors, along with the largest coefficient of determination, were observed in the RFR algorithm. It was recognized that the optimized value of CS is 48.606 MPa, and their optimized process elements such as cement, alccofine, GGBS, water, and days were 261.506 kg/m3, 0.055 kg/m3, 52.468 kg/m3, 141.007 L, and 27.999 days, respectively.

The low-and-middle-income country (LMIC) context is volatile, uncertain and resource-constrained. India, an LMIC, has put up a complex response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Using an analytic approach, we have described India’s response to combat the pandemic during the initial months (from 17 January to 20 April 2020). India issued travel advisories and implemented graded international border controls between January and March 2020. By early March, cases started to surge. States scaled up movement restrictions. On 25 March, India went into a nationwide lockdown to ramp up preparedness. The lockdown uncovered contextual vulnerabilities and stimulated countermeasures. India leveraged existing legal frameworks, institutional mechanisms and administrative provisions to respond to the pandemic. Nevertheless, the cross-sectoral impact of the initial combat was intense and is potentially long-lasting. The country could have further benefited from evidence-based policy and planning attuned to local needs and vulnerabilities. Experience from India offers insights to nations, especially LMICs, on the need to have contextualised pandemic response plans.

Non-linear static analysis or pushover analysis is now-a –days generally preferred by many researchers to analyse the non-linear behaviour of the structure. Present study includes the effect of joint rigidity on the behaviour of the structure. A building is modeled with 5 and 10 story and designed for gravity and earthquake resistant loads by considering joint rigidity factor as 0 and 1. The analysis is done in both X and Y directions by using pushover analysis in SAP2000 software. Comparison is made between then capacity curves obtained from designed models of rigidity and non-rigidity models. From the results it is concluded that structure designed using joint rigidity has more strength when compared non-rigid joints.

Performance based analysis is conducted on a structure to know the performance of building under severe earthquake loads with limited and well-distributed damage. To do this analysis a non-linear static analysis called pushover analysis had conducted on the structure. In this paper, an RC building with both 5 storey and 10 storey is designed for both gravity loads and earthquake resistant loads using SAP2000 software. Analysis is done in both X and Y direction to get a damage curve (pushover curve). By studying the damage curve, the results that obtained are earthquake resistant designed building had more strength when compared to gravity load designed building and it is better to consider earthquake in building design , because gravity loads alone cannot give the adequate results.

Primary lymphomas of appendix are extremely rare tumors. The first case of primary lymphoma of appendix was reported by Warren in the year 1898. Incidence of primary lymphoma of appendix is 0.015% of all gastrointestinal lymphomas. This is a report of primary marginal zone B-cell lymphoma of appendix which presented as appendicular mass. As some cases are incidentally discovered, this case emphasizes that histological examination of all appendicectomy specimens is mandatory.

Introduction Tooth development begins in the embryo and continues through childhood, involving stages that form enamel, dentin, pulp, and roots. (1) Disruptions can result in anomalies like microdontia, macrodontia, supernumerary teeth, or missing teeth (hypodontia/oligodontia), caused by genetic mutations or environmental factors like poor nutrition, toxins, or medications(2). These issues may affect function (chewing, speech) and aesthetics (alignment, shape), impacting self-esteem and quality of life. Accurate identification is vital in clinical practice and forensic science, where dental records are crucial for identification in legal cases.[3] Material and Methods This cross-sectional, observational study, involves 412 undergraduate students (3rd-year, 4th-year, and interns), selected via simple random sampling, with 1st- and 2ndyear students, postgraduates, and practitioners excluded. Result: This study revealed significant differences in identifying conditions like Supernumerary roots and Amelogenesis imperfecta. Third-year students performed better than interns in some cases. Chi-square analysis (p< 0.05) emphasized educational gaps, highlighting the need for improved teaching strategies to enhance diagnostic accuracy. Conclusion This study assessed tooth morphology knowledge dental students, focusing on anomalies like supernumerary roots and taurodontism. Significant variations were found across academic years, especially for certain anomalies. The study emphasizes the need for targeted educational interventions to improve dental training. In this research, we have derived the solution of the field equations of the scalar-tensor theory of gravitation, proposed by Saez and Ballester(Phys. Lett. A113, 467:1986) within the frame-work of Bianchi type-III Universe. We have analyzed the interacting and non-interacting anisotropic Barrow Holographic Dark Energy (BHDE) models by assuming the time dependent deceleration parameter (q(t)). Further, we have discussed the several cosmological parameters such as energy densities of pressureless dark matter and BHDE, skewness, deceleration, equation of state parameters, ωBH-ω′ BH plane and stability of the both interacting and non-interacting models. Also, we have observed that in our non-interacting and interacting models deceleration and equation of state parameters support the recent observational data. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
