This document reports on the final prototypes of the zero-touch slice and service management solutions, including security and trust orchestration, that have been developed as part of the 5GZORRO platform. These have been carried out in the context of the Work Package (WP) 4, and this document describes the essential features of all the trusted and secure zero-touch slice and service management software components. The implemented prototypes are aligned to the design guidelines reported in previous deliverables (i.e., D4.1 and D4.4) and are the result of continuous development and integration efforts performed by multiple software teams, taking also into account validation feedback collected from WP5 as part of the project use cases integration and KPI assessment. In summary, this document is organized to describe: · The software components that have been implemented inside each one of the three WP4 functional pillars: Security and Trust Orchestration, Intelligent and Automated (zero-touch) Slice and Service Management, and MANO and slicing enhancements. · The main functionalities and software prototype implementation details for each developed component, including the results of functional tests to validate the integration of the various components within the 5GZORRO platform. · References to the major prototype components and the respective source code repositories hosted in the 5GZORRO GitHub available at: https://github.com/5gzorro · Results of validation tests, including functional tests for the various modules and integration tests, to demonstrate the proper functionality of the involved components and their interrelation. · A proposed approach for automated Installation instructions for the presented prototypes, with the identification of deployment profiles and dependencies among the various required 5GZORRO components and modules

This document reports on the intermediate prototypes of the 5GZORRO orchestration and security platforms produced. The prototypes described in this deliverable implement the first working version of the 5GZORRO solutions for advanced management of 5G Service and Slices with high level of security and trust, zero touch automation and intelligent resource selection and optimization. The prototypes are built to be integrated with an enhanced NFV management and orchestration solution (MANO) to provide intra and cross-domain services as well as network slice deployment, strictly coupled with 5G infrastructure management and monitoring functions. The reported prototypes implement specific parts of the 5GZORRO Platform and specifically realise the initial functionalities of: · The Security and Trust Orchestration sub-system · The Intelligent and Automated Slice and Service Management sub-system · The Enhancements to the MANO and Network Slicing sub-systems., EC approval: 26/07/2021

This document presents the results of the initial use cases description and requirements elicitation work conducted in the H2020 5GZORRO project. This R&D action has the overall objective to design, develop and validate in representative use cases a 5G architecture capable to incorporate zero-touch automation solutions for the orchestration of high volumes of ubiquitous and pervasive 5G services, with security and trust. For this, 5GZORRO will develop a zero-touch orchestration platform which will use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to govern the complexity of automation through the identification of usage patterns and cognition into operational data lakes, coupled with distributed ledger technologies to implement a scalable and secure solution for the interworking and accountability of different actors of the service composition chain. This document provides a detailed description of the 5GZORRO use cases. Each use case is contextualised through a review of the specific state of the art aimed at identifying the expected novelty that will be introduced in the 5GZORRO project. Multiple scenarios are covered for each use case, in order to illustrate the behaviour expected using the 5GZORRO platform and identify various ways for stakeholders to interact among themselves. Three Use Cases are proposed in 5GZORRO: Smart Contracts for Ubiquitous Computing/Connectivity: It covers mechanisms for the implementation of DLT-anchored Smart Contracts and Oracles with the objective of enabling decentralized trust for multi-party interactions and SLA management in trading of computing (and other) resources across edge and core parts of the network. Dynamic spectrum allocation: It envisions Blockchain enabled spectrum markets, where shared spectrum usage right holders can trade and lease spectrum rights for a given area and time, enhancing spectrum efficiency while maintaining the QoS at the required level. Pervasive virtual Content Distribution Network Services (vCDN): It covers the capacity for delivering scalable, pervasive vCDN services including HQ video streaming (live and/or VoD), in situations with significant variations in the context of flash crowd scenarios e.g., video sharing in stadiums, or sharing breaking news live feed. This use case integrates also technology enablers and scenarios from Use Case 1 (for smart contracting of edge computing resources) and Use Case 2 (shared spectrum trading)., EC approval: 26/07/2021

The exploitation of the biocatalytic activity of enzymes in a massive context ineludibly implies their heterogeneization and/or immobilization on solid supports whereas their catalytic efficiency is maintained at some extent. Since the catalytic role of enzymes is directly related to their quaternary/tertiary structure, the non-covalent immobilization strategies normally become more effective. This Chapter deals with several methods for encapsulating enzymes within porous materials developed by our group in the last decade. Apart from the non-covalent nature of the enzyme-support interaction, the encapsulation of enzymes provides some extra key advantages: (i) the resultant solid biocatalysts can take advantage of the size sieving of the reactants and products provided by the supports; (ii) the both kinds of studied supports, i.e. SiO2- or organosilica-based ordered mesoporous materials (OMM) and metal-organic framework (MOF) materials, can be easily and controllably functionalized by organic groups favoring the immobilization efficiency and preventing the enzyme leaching; (iii) the pore arrangement of the supports can be tailored to the enzyme requirements, such as the use of cage/window mesoporous system allowing the in-situ encapsulation of enzymes with no subsequent leaching at all. All these strategies have been widely and successfully developed for OMMs materials, although it is recommendable to optimize the physicochemical properties of the OMM support for any particular enzyme. On the contrary, the use of MOFs as supports of enzymes is relatively new, especially the universal approaches in which the MOF materials do not need to have pore larger than the enzyme to be immobilized. The very rich compositional, structural and functionalization versatility of these porous supports entails a very promising future for the enzyme immobilization.
