Here we demonstrate fast selective laser‐induced etching (SLE) process with three‐dimensional (3D) hologram optics to reduce display bezel thickness with cost effective methods. To apply fast SLE for display manufacturing, one‐side etching process should be presumed to protect display active area. We developed one‐side selective laser‐induced etching with asymmetric 3D hologram laser beam satisfying with commercial mechanical strength. Faster etch process having etch rate 10 µm/min than common SLE, 1~3 µm/min was developed. Furthermore, we achieve that bezel thickness is 100 µm shorter than wheel scribing and CNC grinding. This paper proposes an AI‐based multimodal architecture for anomaly detection in a video footage of a smart carrier which is used for monitoring alignment status, grinding of rollers and vibration of a carrier for manufacturing line of OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) panels. The proposed multimodal architecture has a two‐stream structure. The first stream extracts a candidate anomaly region in image frames sampled from the video by DL‐based segmentation. Thereafter, the candidate region is determined whether it is a true failure or not by comparing the region with a reference image which was previously obtained in a normal setup status. The second stream calculates a dense optical flow with sparse areas using consecutive video frames. By observing change between (n)th, reference, (n‐3)th and (n‐7)th images, it is determined with sound analysis whether the smart carrier experiences vibration during movement. The overall detection rate of three anomalies is 97%, and processing takes only 40% of total video time. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Increasing display process complexity, Automated Guided Vehicle becomes more important and the delivery time constraint is getting shorter. The complicated process causes traffic congestion and deadlocks between AGVs. Preventing these issues, this paper suggests digital twin technology that allows AGV to choose the best route among various paths. This research validates the AGV simulation for the display plant. The result shows AGV average delivery time was shortened by 14.1% compared to the traditional algorithm. In addition, the AGV capacity rate can be reduced by 21.5% and the number of AGVs can be reduced by 10.1%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
