Limited triple‐phase boundaries arising from the accumulation of solid discharge product(s) in solid‐state cathodes (SSCs) pose a challenge to high‐property solid‐state lithium‐oxygen batteries (SSLOBs). Light‐assisted SSLOBs have been gradually explored as an ingenious system; however, the fundamental mechanisms of the SSCs interface behavior remain unclear. Here, we discovered that light assistance can enhance the fast inner‐sphere charge transfer in SSCs and regulate the discharge products with spherical particles generated via the surface growth model. Moreover, the high photoelectron excitation and transportation capabilities of SSCs can retard cathodic catalytic decay by avoiding structural degradation of the cathode with a reduced charge voltage. The light‐induced SSLOBs exhibited excellent stability (170 cycles) with a low discharge–charge polarization overpotential (0.27 V). Furthermore, transparent SSLOBs with exceptional flexibility, mechanical stability, and multiform shapes were fabricated for theory‐to‐practical applications in sunlight‐induced batteries. Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) are a class of RNA molecules that do not have the potential to encode proteins. Meanwhile, they can occupy a significant portion of the human genome and participate in gene expression regulation through various mechanisms. Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is a pathologic condition of carbohydrate intolerance that begins or is first detected during pregnancy, making it one of the most common pregnancy complications. Although the exact pathogenesis of GDM remains unclear, several recent studies have shown that ncRNAs play a crucial regulatory role in GDM. Herein, we present a comprehensive review on the multiple mechanisms of ncRNAs in GDM along with their potential role as biomarkers. In addition, we investigate the contribution of deep learning-based models in discovering disease-specific ncRNA biomarkers and elucidate the underlying mechanisms of ncRNA. This might assist community-wide efforts to obtain insights into the regulatory mechanisms of ncRNAs in disease and guide a novel approach for early diagnosis and treatment of disease. Low‐cost and on‐site H2O2 production is desirable for industrial and civilian usage. (Photo)electrochemical H2O2 production is proposed to be a safer, greener, and cheaper strategy for on‐site H2O2 production as compared to the conventional anthraquinone process and the direct thermal synthesis. However, the efficiency, selectivity, and durability of the (photo)electrochemical H2O2 production devices are still not satisfactory. Therefore, there is an urgent need to revisit the (photo)electrocatalyst and device designs for (photo)electrochemical on‐site H2O2 production, thus to rationalize the research thoughts and provide valuable guidance. This review comprehensively summarizes and discusses the mechanism of two‐electron oxygen reduction reaction (2e− ORR) and two‐electron water oxidation reaction (2e− WOR) for H2O2 production, and the current research status on the (photo)electrocatalysts and (photo)electrochemical devices. In particular, the pros and cons of the four types of (photo)electrochemical device designs, which are Type I (2e− ORR + oxygen evolution reaction), Type II (2e− ORR + hydrogen oxidation reaction), Type III (2e− WOR + hydrogen evolution reaction) and Type IV (2e− WOR + 2e− ORR), are discussed in detail. Finally, a practical perspective on the future research directions for the on‐site (photo)electrochemical H2O2 production based on the technical challenges of this technique is provided. Coupling cell wall expansion with cell growth is a universal challenge faced by walled organisms. Mutations in Schizosaccharomyces pombe css1, which encodes a PM inositol phosphosphingolipid phospholipase C, prevent cell wall expansion but not synthesis of cell wall material. To probe how Css1 modulates cell wall formation we used classical and chemical genetics coupled with quantitative mass spectrometry. We found that elevated levels of the sphingolipid biosynthetic pathway's final product, mannosylinositol phosphorylceramide (MIPC), specifically correlated with the css1-3 phenotype. We also found that an apparent indicator of sphingolipids and a sterol biosensor accumulated at the cytosolic face of the PM at cell tips and the division site of css1-3 cells and, in accord, the PM in css1-3 was less dynamic than in wildtype cells. Interestingly, disrupting the protein glycosylation machinery recapitulated the css1-3 phenotype and led us to investigate Ghs2, a glycosylated PM protein predicted to modify cell wall material. Disrupting Ghs2 function led to aberrant cell wall material accumulation suggesting Ghs2 is dysfunctional in css1-3. We conclude that preventing an excess of MIPC in the S. pombe PM is critical to the function of key PM-localized proteins necessary for coupling growth with cell wall formation. Author summary: Many organisms have a cell wall that provides structural support and serves as protection against environmental stresses. At the same time, cell walls are dynamic, needing to be repaired and elaborated on as cells grow and divide. A shared challenge among cell-walled organisms is therefore maintaining the integrity of the cell wall while it is being remodeled. The yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe has a well understood pattern of new cell wall deposition at growing tips during interphase and along the septum at division. We took advantage of this knowledge to study a poorly understood step in cell wall assembly defined by a mutation in the css1 gene that encodes a sphingomyelinase-like enzyme. In these cells, a step following cell wall precursor synthesis fails and therefore, cells stop elongating. We determined that changes in plasma membrane lipid composition and dynamics accompany this defect and identify putative enzymes that act on cell wall precursors after their synthesis to allow cell growth. Aim: This study aimed to examine the direct and indirect effects of workplace bullying on turnover intention using the serial multiple mediators of psychological empowerment and job burnout. Design: A cross‐sectional study was conducted. Methods: A convenience sample of 506 novice nurses from five Triple A hospitals in China's S province from November 2020 to February 2021 and were evaluated using online questionnaires on workplace bullying, psychological empowerment, job burnout, and turnover intention. Results: The prevalence of turnover intention was 51.9%. In the serial multiple mediator model, workplace bullying had a direct effect (c = 0.452, p < 0.001) and indirect effect (c' = 0.229, p < 0.001) on turnover intention through the serial multiple mediators of psychological empowerment (B = −0.093, p = 0.020) and job burnout (B = 0.127, p < 0.001); hence, the proposed model explained the total variance of 32.2% in turnover intention. Patient or public contribution: Nursing managers should use effective measures for strengthening the psychological empowerment to minimize novice nurse burnout and turnover intention resulting from workplace bullying. Solid‐state lithium‐oxygen batteries (SSLOBs) offer high energy density with enhanced safety. However, the challenge of energy loss induced by the high polarization of the solid‐state air electrode has become a major bottleneck for its further development. Here, a homonuclear Fe‐Fe catalyst (Fe2‐N‐C) matched to reactants (Li2‐xO2, 0 ≤ x ≤ 2) size to alleviate the redox polarization in solid‐state electrodes is designed. Atomically resolved transmission electron microscopy reveals that the spatial size of Fe‐Fe clusters (1.5–2 Å) is commensurate with Li2‐xO2 (1.2–2.2 Å), which can overcome the challenges associated with catalyst/reactant size mismatch. In‐depth theoretical analyses show that orbital coupling and spin state jumping between Fe‐Fe sites allows the Fe centers to exhibit d‐orbital delocalization and high electronic spin states. These features enhance the activation of paramagnetic oxygen species, optimize the binding strength to LiO2 and reduce the charge/discharge voltage gap. Meanwhile, the size‐matching effect induces the ductile growth of the discharge product into a highly reversible film‐like morphology. The Fe2‐N‐C cathode with low overpotential exhibits significantly improved round‐trip efficiency (84.9%). The concept of this work opens up new opportunities for designing high‐performance SSLOBs. Hybrid wheat is considered to be one of the main ways to greatly improve the wheat yield in the future, and population construction is an important factor affecting their yield heterosis formation. In order to clarify the effect of population regulation of hybrid wheat on source–sink systems, the two-line hybrid wheat variety Jingmai 6 was used to carry out relevant research in this experiment. The leaf area index (LAI) of Jingmai 6 showed an increasing trend, while the tiller-spike rate exhibited a downward trend with the increase of planting density. The total accumulation of dry matter at maturity increased with the increase of planting density, among which the relative proportion of dry matter pre-anthesis gradually increased, while that after anthesis gradually decreased. The sink capacity and spikes number of hybrid wheat were positively correlated with the grain yield. There was higher sink capacity, spike to leaf ratio and grain to leaf ratio under A2 and A3 conditions. With the increase of planting density, the hybrid wheat yield showed a unimodal curve, and A3 had the highest grain yield. Combined with the change trend of dry matter accumulation before and after anthesis, it was proved that suitable planting density was the key to obtaining high yield of hybrid wheat. Alveolar type II (AT II) is a key structure of the distal lung epithelium and essential to maintain normal lung homeostasis. Dedifferentiation of AT II cells is significantly correlated with lung tumor progression. However, the potential molecular mechanism and clinical significance of AT II-associated genes for lung cancer has not yet been fully elucidated. In this study, we comprehensively analyzed the gene expression, prognosis value, genetic alteration, and immune cell infiltration of eight AT II-associated genes (AQP4, SFTPB, SFTPC, SFTPD, CLDN18, FOXA2, NKX2-1, and PGC) in Nonsmall Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). The results have shown that the expression of eight genes were remarkably reduced in cancer tissues and observably relating to clinical cancer stages. Survival analysis of the eight genes revealed that low-expression of CLDN18, FOXA2, NKX2-1, PGC, SFTPB, SFTPC, and SFTPD were significantly related to a reduced progression-free survival (FP), and low CLDN18, FOXA2, and SFTPD mRNA expression led to a short postprogression survival (PPS). Meanwhile, the alteration of 8 AT II-associated genes covered 273 out of 1053 NSCLC samples (26%). Additionally, the expression level of eight genes were significantly correlated with the infiltration of diverse immune cells, including six types of CD4+T cells, macrophages, neutrophils, B cells, CD8+ T cells, and dendritic cells. In summary, this study provided clues of the values of eight AT II-associated genes as clinical biomarkers and therapeutic targets in NSCLC and might provide some new inspirations to assist the design of new immunotherapies. The interfacial stability between sulfide solid‐state electrolytes (SSEs) and high voltage Ni‐rich oxide cathodes is critical to the electrochemical performances of all‐solid‐state batteries (ASSBs), yet it is challenging to solve the interface issues by surface coating modification. Here, a surface‐to‐bulk synergistic modification is proposed to achieve a highly stable interface through the combination of TiNb2O7‐coated and Ti‐doped LiNi0.6Mn0.2Co0.2O2 single crystals (DC‐TNO@SCNCM). The TiNb2O7 coating layer with thermodynamic/electrochemical stability and electronic insulation avoids the decomposition of SSEs. The strong TiO bond in SCNCM achieved by Ti doping can stabilize lattice oxygen and avoid further electrochemically oxidizing sulfide electrolytes to form oxygenated sulfurous and phosphorous species. The modified DC‐TNO@SCNCM cathode exhibits excellent long‐cycle stability with a capacity retention rate of 92.2% after 140 cycles at a high cut‐off voltage of 4.4 V. Lotus (Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn.) is a traditional Chinese aquatic flower with high ornamental and economic value, but water salinity seriously affects lotus cultivation and distribution. The Dof transcription factors (TFs) play a crucial function in the regulatory network of growth and defense in plants. However, no systematic investigations of the Dof TFs in lotus have been performed. In this study, comprehensive searches of the lotus genome yielded 29 potential NnDofs. We carried out a series of standardized analyses, which include physical properties, multiple sequence alignment, phylogenetic analysis, gene structure, motif composition, cis-acting element prediction, chromosome distribution, and synteny analysis. The results showed that segment duplication probably caused the NnDofs gene family expansion. The potential functions of NnDofs in lotus development and stress conditions are speculated by promoter analysis. Furthermore, a complete expression investigation of NnDofs utilizing an RNA-seq atlas and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was performed. The majority of the NnDofs exhibit tissue-specific expression patterns, and many genes have been identified as being extremely sensitive to salt stressors. Overall, this study is the first to report a genome-wide assessment of the Dof family in lotus, and the findings offer vital insights for prospective functional studies on lotus salinity stress.
