The analysis of the possible maximum fluid flow rates when using higher aquatic plants for clarification of recycled water in the pondclarifier of the tailing pond has carried out. The study has been performed on the basis of a mathematical model of a plane slow stationary gravity flow of a viscous fluid in two parallel layers. The results of the study made it possible to determine the fluid velocity through a layer of higher aquatic plants floating on a free surface. The maximum possible velocity depending on the layer porosity has been determined. This value is necessary to determine the rational parameters of the process of clarifying technical recycled water from particles of the given hydraulic size, taking into account the pond-clarifier geometric dimensions. It is shown that the velocity in the layer with higher aquatic plants has been determined by the ratio of two parameters of this layer - porosity and dimensionless resistance coefficient. It has been shown that the maximum velocity value coefficient in the layer with plants floating on free surface depends only on porosity of this layer and does not depend on its resistance coefficient.

The article reveals the urgency of addressing the students’ ecological and legal culture of professional socialization. There are socio-political, institutional-organizational and psychological-pedagogical factors of the problem. The article is devoted to the ecological and legal culture in the socio-cultural environment. The environmental education includes a development of personal environmental values in the socio-cultural development. The environmental education as a component of socialization is a means of the educational environment. The ecological and legal culture of students is a complex socio-cultural and psycho-pedagogical problem of the search for perspective directions and technologies in educational environment. The environmental education should have a structure in the education system.

The article reveals the problem’s urgency of the students’ youth development in the conditions of the Olympiad movement. It analyzes the scientific views on the essence and significance of Olympiads on subjects. It defines the research key concepts and presents the scientists’ positions on the concept essence of “Olympiad”. The article specifies the objective and tasks of the Olympiads. It stresses the importance of Olympiads in improving the training quality of qualified specialists. It suggests the author’s understanding of the Olympiad educational potential on pedagogy and psychology. It points out the need of interactive technologies for the development of communicative, research, design and other competences. The article gives a brief description of individual practice-oriented competitions providing development of creative initiative activities, students’ mobility and their intellectual abilities.

Background. The research presents the analysis of Antony John Blinken's, the United States secretary of state, historic and significant public report on May, 16, 2024 during his visit to Ukraine. Politicians perform speeches mainly to outline the perspective for the nations, influencing the others and positioning themselves and the others through the discourse. The stance is defined as a social action which is realized through communicative strategies, and is equated to positioning. Methods. The aim of the article is to study the communicative strategies of stance-taking and positioning and methods of their realization in the mechanism constructing of a political speech. The research applied Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) as the research method relating structures of the discourse to social practices based on 'ideological square' (Van Dijk, 1998) of positive-self and negative other presenting. Results. The stance-taking and positioning can explain the use of lexical patterns, constructions and discourse markers in the political discourse. This study argues the implementing of the stance-taking and positioning by the discursive strategies of polarization (positive in-group and negative out-group representation). Conclusions. The stance-taking and positioning in the political speech are presented on three levels (self- (the first order), the other (the targeted audience) positioning (the second order) and the third order positioning, when the speaker demonstrates his attitude to the people (state) not involved in the present interaction). They are implemented by the discursive strategies of polarization that embody the social ideologies (positive in-group and negative out-group representation) including the strategies of group inclusion, self-glorification, positive and negative evaluation and contrasting strategies. The linguistic means of verbalising the strategies of stance taking and positioning include the lexical content of the utterance, grammar tenses and stylistic figures of hyperbole, litotes, metaphor, personification, etc. Metaphors as conceptual and framing device help to present the main political actors, make it possible for political actors to show their stances, achieve goals and have the impact on the value judgements that they make. They express the author's attitude to the message, his points of view, positions, value orientations in relation to the subject of discussion.

Among the diseases of small pets, skin diseases are one of the leading ones. Atopic dermatitis is a common skin condition in small pets, which, according to veterinarians’ estimates, affects 10-15% of dogs and 7-18% of cats. Depending on the allergens involved, clinical signs can be seasonal or non-seasonal, and the disease usually requires lifelong treatment. The purpose of this study was to investigate the therapeutic efficacy of treating atopy in dogs and cats with the use of triamcinolone-based veterinary medications (oral suspension). Standard clinical, haematological, biochemical, and immunological methods were used in the study. The increased content of total immunoglobulin E (Ig E) in the blood of experimental animals before treatment (Group I – 3.4 times, and Group II – 3.9 times compared to the control) indicates the presence of an allergic response in the body. It was found that the tested veterinary medications do not substantially affect the haematological parameters of dogs and cats when administered orally, and in therapeutic doses do not have a toxic effect on the functional state of the liver and kidneys. It was proved that on Day 4 of use of oral suspension No. 1 and No. 2 based on triamcinolone (1%) acetonide and a complex of B vitamins in a therapeutic dosage, an improvement in the general clinical condition of animals was recorded. On Day 8 of treatment, dogs and cats in experimental Groups I and II showed improvement in skin condition: a reduction in the lesion area, absence of redness, scratching, and exfoliation. The general clinical condition of the skin of the experimental animals stayed unchanged from Day 8 to Day 12. The developed oral suspensions have a pronounced anti-allergic effect and improve the skin condition of small pets (dogs and cats) with atopic dermatitis

The use of disinfectants is a crucial aspect of preventive and health improvement measures for infectious diseases in farm and domestic animals. Regulatory documents require the determination of toxicity to macroorganisms, including the establishment of lethal doses and toxicity groups, during the development and registration of antimicrobial agents. This study aimed to investigate the histological changes in the internal organs of laboratory animals when determining lethal doses of innovative disinfectants. The experiments used domestic disinfectants containing glutaraldehyde as the active ingredient. Histological studies were conducted on the internal organs (kidney, liver, stomach, intestines, and spleen) of 75 laboratory animals using an Axioskop 40/40FL microscope (Carl Zeiss, Germany) with video microscopic photography. The methods used were under current standards. Hemodynamic disorders were observed in the renal tissue under the influence of lethal doses of aldehyde disinfectants. These disorders were characterized by capillary dilation and blood filling. Glomerular capillary dilation and overflow with blood cells were also detected. Additionally, stasis was observed in the lumen of the microcirculatory vessels throughout the entire length. The examination of histological sections from animal liver samples revealed a significant expansion of Dissé spaces, variations in the size of hepatocyte nuclei, beam decomposition and fragmentation, small acute perivascular hemorrhages, leukostasis in sinusoids, and hemodynamic disorders. The structure of the organ's beams was also disturbed, and a significant number of venous vessels were dilated and excessively filled with blood cells. Minor changes were detected in the stomach, including desquamation of the epithelial cells of the glands and their exfoliation into the gastric lumen, as well as circulatory disorders. Epithelial desquamation, blood vessel dilation, and signs of connective tissue edema were observed in the intestine. The kidneys exhibited signs of acute venous hemorrhage and stasis in vessels of various calibers, with the development of small acute parenchymal hemorrhages and localized lymphoid cell death in the white pulp. The prospect of further research is to investigate the histomorphological changes in the internal organs of laboratory animals when exposed to modern complex disinfectants with different active ingredients.

Improving the productivity of poultry, especially egg crosses, depends on the quality of the bioceramic calcite (CaCO3) layers and surface glycoprotein film of the egg (cuticle). These are the barriers that control the flow of gases and water vapor. Any disruptions in the transport process can lead to a significant reduction in egg hatchability. It has been proven that treatment of chicken and turkey eggs with acid solutions (acetic acid or hydrochloric acid) and sodium hypochlorite prior to hatching has increased egg hatchability compared to the control. In view of this, the aim of this study was to investigate the protective structures of incubation eggs of chickens and turkeys using non-destructive electron microscopic methods and computer processing of digital images of the cuticle coatings of these eggs for reliable prediction of the degree of increase in gas permeability of the cuticle-shell system due to the destructive effect of various chemicals, including disinfectants, for pre-hatching egg treatment. In the experiments, hatching eggs of Leghorn White hens (n = 90) 15–20 weeks of laying and Broad Breasted White turkeys (n = 80) were used. The antimicrobial agents used in the experiments were a 0.6% solution (0.08 mol/L) of sodium hypochlorite, a 2.5% solution (0.4 mol/L) of acetic acid, and a 5.0% solution (1.40 mol/L) of hydrochloric acid. Using the computer analysis of digital electron microscopic images of the egg surface with the software packages Visilog and FemtoScan Online, it was experimentally proved that the destructive effect of these substances on the cuticle-shell system increases in the range of sodium hypochlorite < hydrochloric acid < acetic acid, which positively correlates with the gas permeability of hatching eggs of chickens and turkeys and the egg hatchability index. The presence of fundamentally different morphological features and correlations of the cuticle of chicken and turkey eggs in response to the action of acids and oxidants used for pre-hatching treatment was shown. The digital markers of the cuticle-shell system state, obtained from analytical programs of digital images, have been established, which makes it possible to reliably predict the indicators of increasing the hatchability of chicken and turkey eggs under the conditions of using certain chemicals. The prospect of further research is to study the effect of modern complex antimicrobial agents on the hatchability of poultry eggs of different species.

Globally, cultural heritage tourism (CHT) is an effective way to achieve economic benefits by preserving and sharing a city's heritage and culture with visitors. Therefore, it is very important to study the impact of historical and cultural heritage sites on the sustainable development of local tourism. The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of the Khoja Ahmed Yasawi Mausoleum, a UNESCO heritage site in Kazakhstan, on sustainable tourism development in Turkestan. The study was based on a survey aimed at identifying the goals of tourists (respondents) visiting Turkestan city, the main objects they would like to see as a tourist destination, and their opportunities for sustainable development of urban tourism. The questionnaire responses were analysed based on the coding of respondents (R1-R328) who were randomly selected. As a result, 40.8% of respondents from near and far abroad (47) and Kazakhstan (281) found that the purpose of the visit was historical and cultural tourism. 78.7% of respondents assessed the tourism potential of the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi as high in terms of sustainable tourism development in Turkestan. Thus, being one of the most famous architectural monuments of Central Asia and an example of modern Kazakh architecture, the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi is a cultural and historical object that affects the sustainable development of tourism in Turkestan. This study will help to solve the problems of sustainable tourism development in Turkestan.

The reproductive function of ewes and the development of their offspring are largely influenced by their clinical condition and the temperature of the environment. The maximum temperature values have significantly increased over the last two decades, making climate change a pressing issue for sheep breeding worldwide, including Ukraine. The consequences of exposure to high temperatures of the outside air, above all, in the mating season, can be marked by a significant increase in the heat load on the body of the brood stock, a decrease in clinical indicators and reproductive capacity. On the other hand, the current understanding of how these components interact is insufficient, which conditions the relevance of this work. In order to determine the effective terms of insemination of sheep in the mating season of 2021, taking into account the terms of insemination and the characteristics of the outside air temperature, three technological groups of ewes were formed, which were in the same flock and were artificially inseminated with freshly obtained sperm from the same breeders in August–September: from August 15 to August 27; from August 28 to September 9 and from September 10 to September 21. It was discovered that ewes inseminated between August 28th and September 9th were less adaptable to environmental conditions, experiencing increased daily fluctuations of body temperature, pulse and breathing rates, stillborn lambs, cases of abortion, and decreased preservation of young animals, including ewe lambs, which are highly valuable in breeding – by 15.8% and 10.9% concerning the initial and final phases of the insemination period. However, the young lambs born from ewes inseminated between August 15th and August 27th had the highest survival rate until weaning due to better survival of ewe lambs compared to those inseminated during later phases of the mating season against the background of a lower percentage of output of rams until the moment of weaning against ewes that were inseminated from August 28 to September 9. It has been shown that the growth rate of lambs during early postnatal development varies depending on the timing of their mothers' insemination. Ewes inseminated between August 15th and 27th produced lambs with the highest weight at 90 days, reaching 26.81 and 24.18 kg, respectively; 20.1% and 26.8% more than rams, and 19.1% and 18.8% more than female lambs whose mothers were inseminated in the middle and at the end of the breeding season. A similar picture is characteristic of the average daily growth values. It was determined that the formation of clinical indicators, and above all, the body temperature of young animals born from mothers fertilized at the beginning and in the middle of the mating season, was the most intense. The results of this study made it possible to understand the adaptive mechanisms of the response of sheep to changes in environmental temperature, which will be useful in future investigations to determine its effect on the thermopotential and clinical condition of lambs during the first day after birth, which is the most critical.

IntroductionThe aim of the study was to search rates of depression and mental health in university students, during the COVID-19 pandemic.Materials and methodsThis is an observational cross-sectional study. A protocol gathering sociodemographic variables as well as depression, anxiety and suicidality and conspiracism was assembled, and data were collected anonymously and online from April 2020 through March 2021. The sample included 12,488 subjects from 11 countries, of whom 9,026 were females (72.2%; aged 21.11 ± 2.53), 3,329 males (26.65%; aged 21.61 ± 2.81) and 133 “non-binary gender” (1.06%; aged 21.02 ± 2.98). The analysis included chi-square tests, correlation analysis, ANCOVA, multiple forward stepwise linear regression analysis and Relative Risk ratios.ResultsDysphoria was present in 15.66% and probable depression in 25.81% of the total study sample. More than half reported increase in anxiety and depression and 6.34% in suicidality, while lifestyle changes were significant. The model developed explained 18.4% of the development of depression. Believing in conspiracy theories manifested a complex effect. Close to 25% was believing that the vaccines include a chip and almost 40% suggested that facemask wearing could be a method of socio-political control. Conspiracism was related to current depression but not to history of mental disorders.DiscussionThe current study reports that students are at high risk for depression during the COVID-19 pandemic and identified specific risk factors. It also suggested a role of believing in conspiracy theories. Further research is important, as it is targeted intervention in students' groups that are vulnerable both concerning mental health and conspiracism.

Animal skin is a complex organ that directly perceives the influence of the external environment and performs a barrier-protective function, helps maintain the balance of the internal environment of the body. Disruption of each of the levels of the protective system leads to the development of inflammatory skin diseases. Treatment of wounds remains one of the most pressing scientific and practical problems of modern veterinary medicine. A number of researchers are searching for and developing new veterinary drugs for the treatment of wounds of various etiologies in small pets, but the use of drugs often causes adverse skin reactions. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of using a veterinary drug (ointment) in the treatment of wounds in domestic animals (dogs, cats, rabbits). The paper uses standard clinical, haematological, and biochemical research methods. The studies used a drug with the active substance dexpanthenol and excipients decamethoxine, Vaseline oil, emulsifier, glycerin, methylparaben, propylparaben, and purified water. The drug under study effectively reduced the wound surface area at all observation periods. It is proved that when using dexpanthenol-based ointment (10%), a complete wound-healing effect was observed in experimental animals on the 14th day of treatment: the area of wound surfaces decreased by 93.1±1.51%. The examined indicators were statistically substantially different from those in the group of untreated animals with skin wounds. The general clinical condition of domestic animals was examined, haematological and biochemical studies of animal blood were conducted under the conditions of applying an experimental drug to damaged skin areas. In animals with skin damage without treatment, the dynamic development of an acute inflammatory process in the body, the development of endogenous intoxication syndrome, signs of wound infection, pronounced exudation and slowing of contraction were observed. The developed veterinary drug with the active substance dexpanthenol simultaneously shows a pronounced antiinflammatory and wound-healing effect and provides a rapid therapeutic effect in wound processes in small pets

Demodicosis in domestic animals occupies a leading place among dermatological diseases. It has considerable epizootological and social significance. Peculiarities of the manifestation of demodicosis in dogs and cats were studied in the city of Kharkiv during 2017–2021. Doberman Pinscher, mestizo, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier, and outbred animals were the most commonly affected by demodicosis, accounting for 61.6% of the total number of patients. The lowest number of animals with demodicosis was registered in such breeds as Dalmatian, Great Dane, Caucasian Shepherd, Collie, Labrador, Husky, Pekingese, and Chow Chow with a total number of 4.6%. Demodicosis is most common in Persian white, European tiger, and Siamese colour point cats, accounting for 57.3%. Norwegian forest, Russian blue, and Oriental shorthair cats are rarely affected by demodicosis, accounting for 13.5% of all animals. Demodicosis most often affects animals aged from 2 months to 3 years in winter, and in summer and autumn, the incidence is lowest. Peculiarities of sexual predisposition of animals to demodicosis infection have not been established. The microbes affecting the skin of animals are transmitted by mites Demodex spp. and are represented by Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Enterobacter spp., Enterococcus spp., Micrococcus spp., Alternaria alternata, Aspergillus niger, Candida spp., Rhizopus nigricans, Penicillum spp., Malassezia spp., Microsporum canis. Staphylococcus spp. and Streptococcus spp. occupy the largest percentage of the total number of isolated microorganisms – 74.7%, and Micrococcus spp. occupy the lowest percentage of isolated microorganisms (6.2%). Staphylococcal susceptibility to nine tetracycline drugs has shown a high level of resistance. The most effective antimicrobial agent for isolated cultures of staphylococci is amoxicillin in combination with clavulanic acid (89.7%) and vancomycin (100.0%). The objective of further research is to develop effective schemes for the prevention and treatment of pets with demodicosis.

The war unleashed by Russia in 2022 is widely presented in online versions of English-language newspapers; Ukraine is constantly in the epicentre of the world news. This study highlights political and ideological contexts of the war in Ukraine, the sociopolitical and cognitive aspects of news according to an interdisciplinary approach considering the language as a social practice. The article highlights the polarization in the presentation of the events and the main actors entitled in the discursive strategies, representing the dichotomy In- versus Out-group. The study is aimed at the investigation of the ideological structures and their manifesting linguistic devices in political discourse based on Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) of discursive strategies for constructing the images of Ukraine and Russia in the British and American press. The integrated Critical Discourse Analysis was applied to the research of the news to study the media discourse and the language, where CDA focuses on social practice, social power and ideology. Political Discourse Analysis (PDA) is used to research the ideology of war images presented in the language of news reports. The relevance of this study determined by the aim is to show the main discursive strategies of polaeization in political media discourse. The research methods of the article combine three vectors of the analysis by Fairclough with explanatory tools (by van Dijk), and the elements of stylistic analysis and Critical Metaphor Analysis. The illustrative material was collected by information search and continuous sample from the open access newspapers and magazines issued in the US and Great Britain (The Daily Mail, The Financial Times, The Guardian, The Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and others). Conclusion. This research argues that polarisation is being demonstrated in the media discourse on the war in Ukraine in 2022. The taxonomy of the identified discursive strategies of polarization deployed in the media political discourse includes labelling, evidentiality, number game, hyperbolism, victimization, personalization and analogy, that can either be used singly or intervened. The discursive strategy of evidentiality is applied to authorities, officials, witnesses that are accepted as trustworthy sources of data; the number game strategy combined with victimization are verbalized by metaphoric simile, metonymy, enumerating and magnifying the numbers with the modifying adverbs; the strategy of hyperbole conveys the positive impression of the in-group and negative acts magnification of the out-group verbalized by metaphor, metonymy, metaphtonymy; the personalization strategy is deployed with the purpose of foregrounding the positive actions of the in-group that implies negative out-group actions; the strategy of analogy is applied in the comparison of the war in Ukraine and the struggle of the Ukrainians for their independence with other historical events. Linguistic means used to realize the discursive strategies of polarization include the conceptual metaphor, metonymy, simile, idioms, metaphtonymy, intertextual allusion and personification.

Gender inequality is one of the fundamental manifestations of socio-economic differentiation of the population, leading to different opportunities for self-realisation for women and men in society. This makes it an important topic for analysis even though there may be different views on the matter. The labour market conditions that existed in Ukraine until the end of February 2022 exacerbated the problems of gender inequality in employment. These problems were manifested in unequal opportunities for women and men in public administration, education, employment, income and property. The research uses general and specific scientific methods – dialectical, historical, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction – to study the legislative frameworks governing gender equality in the European Union (EU) and Ukraine in determining the current state of women’s employment in Ukraine and Europe. In this context, the purpose of this article is to identify the features of gender inequality in the labour market of modern Ukraine, as well as to identify its causes and solutions.

У статті уточняється розуміння особливостей забезпечення ґендерної рівності в трудових відноси- нах за участю працівників митних органів України. Автор формулює визначення поняття «принцип ґендерної рівності у сфері праці та зайнятості», у контексті чого окреслює загальне соціально-правове значення забезпечення принципу ґендерної рівності у трудових відносинах за участю працівників митних органів. Обґрунтовується, що принцип ґендерної рівності має вирішальне значення для ство- рення ефективних і справедливих умов виконання трудових (службових) обов’язків у митних органах. При цьому сама соціально-правова значимість принципу ґендерної рівності корелюється значимістю ефективної трудової діяльності працівників митних органів, враховуючи, що ефективна робота та- ких працівників неможлива в ґендерно-ворожих, ґендерно-стереотипних умовах виконання трудових обов’язків. Забезпечення ґендерної рівності в трудових відносинах за участю працівників митних органів України об’єктивується в результаті реалізації принципу ґендерної рівності у сфері праці. Ре- алізація цього принципу передбачає, по-перше, задоволення права на працю та просування по службі жінок та чоловіків з особливими сімейними обов’язками, що не може обмежуватись ґендерним упе- редженням (при цьому повинні застосовуватись заходи позитивної дискримінації). По-друге, реалі- зація принципу ґендерної рівності виявляється у врахування особливостей забезпечення соціальної безпеки (у трудових відносинах) жінок та чоловіків з особливими сімейними обов’язками. По-третє, реалізація вказаного принципу передбачає формування і заохочення до розвитку організаційної куль- тури нетерпимості до ґендерних стереотипів. У висновках до статті узагальнюються результати до- слідження.

У статті визначено, що державне управління обумовлює управління суспільством з метою реалізації юридичних та соціальних цілей. Показано, що цілі державного управління формуються політичною системою та реалізуються механізмом держави. Означено, що державне управління є цілеспрямованим організаційним та регулюючим впливом держави на стан розвитку суспільних процесів, свідомість, поведінку та діяльність громадян з метою досягнення цілей та реалізації функцій держави, відображених в Конституції та законодавчих актах. Підкреслено, що новостворена система державного управління досі не позбулась минулого, вона функціонує за застарілими традиціями управління, не відповідає стратегічному курсу України на європейську інтеграцію та європейським принципам врядування, є неефективною, генерує тіньову економіку та корупцію. Вона є внутрішньо суперечливою, надмірно централізованою, закритою від суспільства і здебільшого такою, що не задовольняє потреби громадян України. У статті визначені специфічні риси державного управління, які дозволяють краще зрозуміти його зміст та сутність. Показано, що побудова організаційної структури державного управління представлена розміщенням і взаємодією її елементів, вертикальними та горизонтальними зв’язками. Форма зв’язків формуються під впливом як зовнішніх, так і внутрішніх об’єктивних і суб’єктивних умов і факторів, а саме: конституційно визначеної форми держави; конституційно визначених функцій держави, а також цілей і функцій державного управління; демократизму і стилю державного управління; державної політики; стану і розміщення об’єктів управління; компетентності управлінських кадрів; інформаційного забезпечення державного управління Організаційні форми реалізації організаційної функції державного управління є одними із форм управлінської діяльності органів державної влади, органів місцевого самоврядування, їхніх посадових і службо вих осіб. Вони є обов’язковими компонентами державно-управлінської діяльності, оскільки визначають, яким чином мають прийматися управлінські рішення, що ухвалюються для організації системи державного управління.

Este artículo explora los aspectos pedagógicos y psicológicos de la aplicación de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación en las instituciones de educación militar superior de Ucrania en las circunstancias actuales. Se han mostrado las direcciones prioritarias para desarrollar la educación a distancia a través de las tecnologías de la información, incluyendo la plataforma MOODLE. La investigación identificó los resultados positivos de la aplicación de las tecnologías de la información en la educación bajo restricciones de cuarentena: un aumento de la eficiencia tecnológica de la educación a distancia debido al moderno software y hardware, un mayor nivel de accesibilidad y apertura de la educación, y una mayor individualización de la instrucción. En general, se llega a la conclusión de que la aplicación de las tecnologías de la información en la situación actual permitió preservar los parámetros básicos del proceso educativo y proporcionó herramientas eficaces para la interacción de los participantes en el proceso educativo.

BACKGROUND: Suicidality is a complex clinical phenomenon reflecting vulnerability to suicidal behavior which can be explained via the biopsychosocial paradigm and in relationship with a variety of country-specific factors. Data on suicides within the Russian population are inconsistent (from 11.7 up to 25.1 per 100.000), whereas the populations suicidality risks have not been investigated in detail. Suicidality estimates during the multifactorial influence of the COVID-19 pandemic could serve as a basis to learn more about this mental health indicator. METHODS: The current study is a part of the COMET-G international project (40 countries, n=55.589), which represents an analysis of data collected from Russias general population (n=7714, 3312 y.o., 61% female) to estimate suicidality using the Risk Assessment Suicidality Scale (RASS) and its relationships with socio-demographic, clinical, and life-habit characteristics during the COVID-19 pandemic. The evaluation of the statistical data (descriptive statistics, ANOVA, LASSO linear regression, significant at =0.05) was undertaken using TIBCO Statistica. RESULTS: According to the RASS, at least 20.68%, and up to 29.15%, of the general population in Russia demonstrated increased risk of suicidality during the pandemic. Modelling these risks pointed to the key vulnerabilities related to mental and behavioral disorders, such as (i) current severe depression and a history of mental disorders, (ii) bipolar disorder, (iii) use of illicit drugs surprisingly outranking the alcohol misuse, and psychiatric compounds (hypnotics), highlighting sleep quality deterioration, (iv) a history of suicide attempts and self-harm though not self-reported changes in depression in response were predictors of the risk of suicidality, which can be explained by the phenomenon of learned suicidality, a habitual behavioral suicidality pattern completion accumulated over the background. Such (v) socio-demographic indicators as younger age (disregarding the gender factor), a marital status of single, having no children, living with fewer people in the household, a recent increase in family conflicts, increased need for emotional support, decreased need for communication, and not believing in precautionary measures against COVID-19, contributed to the increase of suicidality risk in the context of the pandemic. CONCLUSIONS: The findings of this study revealed new suicide risk factors that should be taken into account in suicidality risk assessments for the Russian population and in the implementation of suicide prevention programs in the region.

The pandemic and Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine have resulted in adjustments to the organisation of working hours in various areas of society, and not only in Ukraine. Employees look for remote work opportunities, while employers strive to control employees' work by increasingly offering hybrid work models in addition to traditional work formats. Such hybrid work models comprise a combination of remote work and work at the employer's premises. However, the authors argue that the legal regulation of this work format should be reconsidered in terms of its impact on work-life balance. Hybrid work formats should still provide an employee with the ability to separate work and personal life in order to avoid burnout and to genuinely be more effective. The rapid advancement of genetic technologies has made it possible to modify various plants through both genetic transformation and gene editing techniques. Poplar, with its rapid in vitro growth and regeneration enabling high rates of micropropagation, has emerged as a model system for the genetic transformation of woody plants. In this study, Populus × berolinensis K. Koch. (Berlin poplar) was chosen as the model organism due to its narrow leaves and spindle-shaped crown, which make it highly suitable for in vitro manipulations. Various protocols for the Agrobacterium-mediated transformation of poplar species have been developed to date. However, the genetic transformation procedures are often constrained by the complexity of the nutrient media used for plant regeneration and growth, which could potentially be simplified. Our study presents a cheaper, simplified, and relatively fast protocol for the Agrobacterium-mediated transformation of Berlin poplar. The protocol involved using internode sections without axillary buds as explants, which were co-cultivated in 10 µL droplets of bacterial suspension directly on the surface of a solid agar-based medium without rinsing and sterile paper drying after inoculation. We used only one regeneration Murashige and Skoogbased medium supplemented with BA (0.2 mg·L−1), TDZ (0.02 mg·L−1), and NAA (0.01 mg·L−1). Acetosyringone was not used as an induction agent for vir genes during the genetic transformation. Applying our protocol and using the binary plasmid pBI121 carrying the nptII selective and uidA reporter genes, we obtained the six transgenic lines of poplar. Transgenesis was confirmed through a PCR-based screening of kanamycin-selected regenerants for the presence of both mentioned genes, Sanger sequencing, and tests for detecting the maintained activity of both genes. The transformation efficiency, considering the 100 explants taken originally, was 6%.

Within the 9th European Framework programme, since 2021 EUROfusion is operating five tokamaks under the auspices of a single Task Force called ‘Tokamak Exploitation’. The goal is to benefit from the complementary capabilities of each machine in a coordinated way and help in developing a scientific output scalable to future largre machines. The programme of this Task Force ensures that ASDEX Upgrade, MAST-U, TCV, WEST and JET (since 2022) work together to achieve the objectives of Missions 1 and 2 of the EUROfusion Roadmap: i) demonstrate plasma scenarios that increase the success margin of ITER and satisfy the requirements of DEMO and, ii) demonstrate an integrated approach that can handle the large power leaving ITER and DEMO plasmas. The Tokamak Exploitation task force has therefore organized experiments on these two missions with the goal to strengthen the physics and operational basis for the ITER baseline scenario and for exploiting the recent plasma exhaust enhancements in all four devices (PEX: Plasma EXhaust) for exploring the solution for handling heat and particle exhaust in ITER and develop the conceptual solutions for DEMO. The ITER Baseline scenario has been developed in a similar way in ASDEX Upgrade, TCV and JET. Key risks for ITER such as disruptions and run-aways have been also investigated in TCV, ASDEX Upgrade and JET. Experiments have explored successfully different divertor configurations (standard, super-X, snowflakes) in MAST-U and TCV and studied tungsten melting in WEST and ASDEX Upgrade. The input from the smaller devices to JET has also been proven successful to set-up novel control schemes on disruption avoidance and detachment.

After a long device enhancement phase, scientific operation resumed in 2022. The main new device components are the water cooling of all plasma facing components and the new water-cooled high heat flux divertor units. Water cooling allowed for the first long-pulse operation campaign. A maximum discharge length of 8 min was achieved with a total heating energy of 1.3 GJ. Safe divertor operation was demonstrated in attached and detached mode. Stable detachment is readily achieved in some magnetic configurations but requires impurity seeding in configurations with small magnetic pitch angle within the edge islands. Progress was made in the characterization of transport mechanisms across edge magnetic islands: Measurement of the potential distribution and flow pattern reveals that the islands are associated with a strong poloidal drift, which leads to rapid convection of energy and particles from the last closed flux surface into the scrape-off layer. Using the upgraded plasma heating systems, advanced heating scenarios were developed, which provide improved energy confinement comparable to the scenario, in which the record triple product for stellarators was achieved in the previous operation campaign. However, a magnetic configuration-dependent critical heating power limit of the electron cyclotron resonance heating was observed. Exceeding the respective power limit leads to a degradation of the confinement.

In 2021 JET exploited its unique capabilities to operate with T and D–T fuel with an ITER-like Be/W wall (JET-ILW). This second major JET D–T campaign (DTE2), after DTE1 in 1997, represented the culmination of a series of JET enhancements—new fusion diagnostics, new T injection capabilities, refurbishment of the T plant, increased auxiliary heating, in-vessel calibration of 14 MeV neutron yield monitors—as well as significant advances in plasma theory and modelling in the fusion community. DTE2 was complemented by a sequence of isotope physics campaigns encompassing operation in pure tritium at high T-NBI power. Carefully conducted for safe operation with tritium, the new T and D–T experiments used 1 kg of T (vs 100 g in DTE1), yielding the most fusion reactor relevant D–T plasmas to date and expanding our understanding of isotopes and D–T mixture physics. Furthermore, since the JET T and DTE2 campaigns occurred almost 25 years after the last major D–T tokamak experiment, it was also a strategic goal of the European fusion programme to refresh operational experience of a nuclear tokamak to prepare staff for ITER operation. The key physics results of the JET T and DTE2 experiments, carried out within the EUROfusion JET1 work package, are reported in this paper. Progress in the technological exploitation of JET D–T operations, development and validation of nuclear codes, neutronic tools and techniques for ITER operations carried out by EUROfusion (started within the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme and continuing under the Horizon Europe FP) are reported in (Litaudon et al Nucl. Fusion accepted), while JET experience on T and D–T operations is presented in (King et al Nucl. Fusion submitted).

Tokamak à configuration variable (TCV), recently celebrating 30 years of near-continual operation, continues in its missions to advance outstanding key physics and operational scenario issues for ITER and the design of future power plants such as DEMO. The main machine heating systems and operational changes are first described. Then follow five sections: plasma scenarios. ITER Base-Line (IBL) discharges, triangularity studies together with X3 heating and N2 seeding. Edge localised mode suppression, with a high radiation region near the X-point is reported with N _2 injection with and without divertor baffles in a snowflake configuration. Negative triangularity (NT) discharges attained record, albeit transient, β _N ∼ 3 with lower turbulence, higher low-Z impurity transport, vertical stability and density limits and core transport better than the IBL. Positive triangularity L-Mode linear and saturated ohmic confinement confinement saturation, often-correlated with intrinsic toroidal rotation reversals, was probed for D, H and He working gases. H-mode confinement and pedestal studies were extended to low collisionality with electron cyclotron heating obtaining steady state electron iternal transport barrier with neutral beam heating (NBH), and NBH driven H-mode configurations with off-axis co-electron cyclotron current drive. Fast particle physics. The physics of disruptions, runaway electrons and fast ions (FIs) was developed using near-full current conversion at disruption with recombination thresholds characterised for impurity species (Ne, Ar, Kr). Different flushing gases (D2, H2) and pathways to trigger a benign disruption were explored. The 55 kV NBH II generated a rich Alfvénic spectrum modulating the FI fas ion loss detector signal. NT configurations showed less toroidal Alfvén excitation activity preferentially affecting higher FI pitch angles. Scrape-off layer and edge physics. gas puff imaging systems characterised turbulent plasma ejection for several advanced divertor configurations, including NT. Combined diagnostic array divertor state analysis in detachment conditions was compared to modelling revealing an importance for molecular processes. Divertor physics. Internal gas baffles diversified to include shorter/longer structures on the high and/or low field side to probe compressive efficiency. Divertor studies concentrated upon mitigating target power, facilitating detachment and increasing the radiated power fraction employing alternative divertor geometries, optimised X-point radiator regimes and long-legged configurations. Smaller-than-expected improvements with total flux expansion were better modelled when including parallel flows. Peak outer target heat flux reduction was achieved (>50%) for high flux-expansion geometries, maintaining core performance ( H _98 > 1). A reduction in target heat loads and facilitated detachment access at lower core densities is reported. Real-time control. TCV’s real-time control upgrades employed MIMO gas injector control of stable, robust, partial detachment and plasma β feedback control avoiding neoclassical tearing modes with plasma confinement changes. Machine-learning enhancements include trajectory tracking disruption proximity and avoidance as well as a first-of-its-kind reinforcement learning-based controller for the plasma equilibrium trained entirely on a free-boundary simulator. Finally, a short description of TCV’s immediate future plans will be given.

The issue of protecting the rights of minors is undoubtedly relevant. There is a tendency in society when the employment of minors in the labor market is growing. The purpose of the article is to analyze the theory and practice of legal regulation of labor of minors under Ukrainian and international law and to find the optimal solution to the problematic issues that exist in this area. The article deals with the legal features of the work of minors at the national and international levels. Universal international legal acts enshrine the fundamentals of protection of the rights of minors from forced labor and oblige states to set a minimum age for employment and prohibit minors from holding certain positions. National legislation extends the norms on the work of minors in accordance with their labor market, clarifies and expands the rights of minors and the employment procedure. Despite the fact that the rights of child workers are clearly regulated, the state should eliminate certain shortcomings to ensure the rights and freedoms of this group of workers. The authors conclude that the term "light work" needs to be clarified, and a detailed classification of child workers depending on their age and state benefits is necessary. It is necessary to take educational measures to inform minors about their rights in the field of employment, and to develop a simplified mechanism for the protection of their rights. Scientific work can contribute to consolidate Ukraine's international relations with that of other countries in terms of developing bilateral relations to protect the rights of underage workers.

INTRODUCTION: One of the innovations in the ICD-11grouping "Schizophrenia and Other Primary Psychotic Disorders" is the implementation of six symptom domains intended to improve diagnostics and treatment of these mental conditions in clinical practice. In this respect, evaluation of the effects of various psychotropic drugs, primarily antipsychotic agents, on the specified psychotic symptom domains is a critical task. The antipsychotic agent cariprazine, registered in many countries worldwide (including Russia) for schizophrenia treatment, was selected as the psychotropic drug model for the purposes of the present review. METHODS: For the purposes of this review the MEDLINE, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, and PubMed databases were searched for randomized controlled trials comparing cariprazine with a placebo, or a placebo and one or several antipsychotic agents, and that was performed within the period from January 2014 to March 2021. RESULTS: Cariprazine has proved its efficiency in relation to all symptom groups of the ICD-11 domain "Positive Symptoms'', and may be considered a front-line therapy for treatment of the first and multiple episodes of schizophrenia, disorganized thinking, and behavioral disorders in the form of aggressiveness and hostility. Cariprazine has the best evidential base for treatment of various symptoms within the ICD-11 domain "Negative Symptoms'' among all antipsychotic agents. The data with regard to the effects of cariprazine on the domain "Depressive Mood Symptoms'' are controversial. No data concerning the effects of cariprazine on the domain "Maniс Mood Symptoms'' are available, but the effectiveness of cariprazine monotherapy for manic episodes without any psychomotor agitation signs in the instance of bipolar disorder has been demonstrated. The effectiveness of cariprazine therapy for the ICD-11 domain "Psychomotor Symptoms" has not been investigated, either within the framework of monotherapy or in the course of adjuvant therapy. The effectiveness of cariprazine has been demonstrated in treatment of the domain "Cognitive Symptoms", and the pro-cognitive effect of the drug has developed regardless of its impact on any other schizophrenia symptoms. The drugs capability to improve the functioning of patients with schizophrenia was demonstrated regardless of the impact on psychotic symptoms. CONCLUSION: Cariprazine is the first-line drug for treatment of the domain "Negative Symptoms" as well as representing front-line therapy for the treatment of ICD-11 domains "Positive Symptoms" and "Cognitive Symptoms". Additional studies will be required in order to evaluate the effects of cariprazine on the ICD-11 domains "Maniс Mood Symptoms" and "Depressive Mood Symptoms".

Depression is one of the most common mental illnesses. Impaired neurogenesis is observed in depression. Studying the concentration of biochemical indicators in the blood that may be involved in the pathogenesis of depression, looking for associations with the severity of depressive symptoms can be useful as an objective diagnosis of the disease and predicting the severity of the pathology. We determined plasma concentrations of the monoamine neurotransmitters serotonin and dopamine, and neurotrophic factors involved in neurogenesis (BDNF, CDNF and neuropeptide Y) in depressed patients and healthy volunteers with the same socio-demographic parameters using enzyme immunoassay and mass spectrometry. All study participants were administered the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Questionnaire (GAD-7), and the Center for Epidemiological Studies (CES-D). The cumulative scores on the three scales examined were significantly higher in depressed patients than in controls. The concentration of serotonin, dopamine, BDNF, CDNF, and neuropeptide Y in plasma did not differ between the subject groups and was not associated with the scores on the scales. Positive correlations were found between the content of neuropeptide Y and serotonin, BDNF and CDNF in blood plasma. Thus, although these markers are related to the pathophysiology of depression, they do not correlate with the severity of symptomatology and possibly in plasma cannot reflect processes occurring in the brain.

One of the most global and dangerous pollutants is considered to be lead, due to its ability to accumulate in living organisms, to be included in the metabolic cycle, to form highly toxic organometallic compounds, not being biodegradable. To study the chronic effects of lead acetate, an experiment was performed on laying hens of Lohmann Brown cross. For research, one control and three experimental groups were formed, 20 chickens in each. Birds of the experimental groups were administered lead acetate daily with compound feed in doses (in terms of metal): Group I – 50 mg/kg of feed, II – 75 mg/kg of feed, III – 150 mg/kg of feed. Access to water was not restricted. The birds of the control group received a complete diet without lead acetate. On the 30th, 90th, 120th days of the experiment and the 20th day after withdrawal of the toxicant (the 140th day of the experiment), we took blood samples from birds for biochemical and toxicological studies. The concentration of delta-aminolevulinic acid (δ-ALA) in the serum of laying hens was determined by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography. Determination of the content of lead in the serum of laying hens was performed by X-ray fluorescence analysis. The concentration of total calcium, inorganic phosphorus, and magnesium in the serum of the laying hens was determined using production kits. We detected the dose-dependent chronic effect of lead acetate on the dynamics of the content of delta-aminolevulinic acid and essential trace elements in the serum of laying hens. The administration of lead acetate into the body of productive poultry for 120 days in doses of 50, 75, and 150 mg/kg with feed did not cause visible clinical signs of poisoning, but caused a violation of porphyrin metabolism, manifested in a reliable increase in the concentration of delta-aminolevulinic acid in serum on the 30th, 90th and 120th days of the experiment. It has been experimentally proven that the administration into the body of laying hens of lead acetate in doses of 50, 75 and 150 mg/kg of feed for 120 days leads to the maximum accumulation of lead in the serum on the 30th, 90th, and 120th days of the experiment. Prolonged administration of lead acetate to laying hens at high concentrations is characterized by a reliable decrease in the content of total calcium, inorganic phosphorus and magnesium in the serum of laying hens and a reliable increase in the content of ferrum. In the future it is necessary to study the intensity of lipid peroxidation processes in laying hens under chronic exposure to lead acetate.

Abstract. There is substantiated the need to modernize the transport area of Ukraine in the view of state obligations adopted during the signing of international environmental agreements. It is argued that the adoption of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and its further implementation by the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement require the signatory States to take measures to minimize the anthropogenic impact of CO2 emissions in the earth’s atmosphere. A comparative analysis of the qualitative and quantitative composition of the fleet of transport industries of European countries and Ukraine proves that the minimization of environmental pollution by Ukraine should be done by renewal the fleet. Based on the statistics of the quality fleet of transport industries of European countries that practice CO2 emissions and those that who does not tax harmful CO2 emissions, it is demonstrated the dependence of the age — related conditions of the fleet, where the taxation demonstrates its incentive properties to modernize transport industries and renew fleets to modern vehicles. The characterization of global trends in minimizing of harmful emissions into the atmosphere of greenhouse gases gave a reason to argue that the implementation of an environmental tax has a dual nature. On the one hand, the tax encourages owners of enterprises, institutions, organizations of transport industry to invest in environmentally friendly transport to minimize the tax burden, and on the other hand, the taxation influences on the environmental situation in the regions and on the planet as a whole. It is substantiated that regulations aimed at minimizing harmful emissions into the atmosphere allow at the state level to implement policies on the formation, distribution and use of tax revenues for fighting climate change. It is concluded that tax revenues from the taxation of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere can be used to support the transport industry through public-private partnerships. It also emphasizes that Ukraine should intensify international cooperation and agree with developed countries to support the modernization of the Ukrainian transport industry using financial mechanisms and technology transfer agreements to increase resistance to climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions enshrined in the Paris Agreement. Traumatic brain injury (TBI) affects millions of people annually; however, our knowledge of the diffuse pathologies associated with TBI is limited. As diffuse pathologies, including axonal injury and neuroinflammatory changes, are difficult to visualize in the clinical population, animal models are used. In the current study, we used the central fluid percussion injury (CFPI) model in a micro pig to study the potential scalability of these diffuse pathologies in a gyrencephalic brain of a species with inflammatory systems very similar to humans. We found that both axonal injury and microglia activation within the thalamus and corpus callosum are positively correlated with the weight-normalized pressure pulse, while subtle changes in blood gas and mean arterial blood pressure are not. We also found that the majority of tissue generated up to 10 years previously is viable for immunofluorescent labeling after long-term refrigeration storage. This study indicates that a micro pig CFPI model could allow for specific investigations of various degrees of diffuse pathological burdens following TBI.

Background/Objectives: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a global healthcare concern affecting millions, with wide-ranging symptoms including sensory and behavioral changes that can persist long-term. Due to similarities with human brain cytoarchitecture and inflammation, minipig models are advantageous for translational TBI research. However, gaps in knowledge exist regarding their behavioral and sensory sequelae following injury. Methods: Therefore, in this study, we assessed changes in approachability using a forced human approach task (FHAT) and mechanical nociception using the von Frey test in adult male and female Yucatan minipigs for up to one week following a sham or central fluid percussion injury (cFPI). Specifically, the FHAT assessed each animal's response to a forced interaction with either a known or unknown experimenter. To evaluate changes in nociceptive sensory sensitivity, von Frey monofilaments ranging from 0.008 to 300 g of force were applied to the pinna of the ear or base of the tail. Results: We found that forced approachability was affected by experimenter familiarity as well as cFPI in a sex-specific manner at subacute timepoints. We also found reductions in sensitivity following cFPI on the ear in male minipigs and on the tail in female minipigs. Conclusion: Overall, the current study demonstrates that cFPI produces both behavioral and sensory changes in minipigs up to one-week post-injury. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The amount of precipitation and its seasonal distribution affect the contamination of grain fodder with micromycetes. The use of grain from different crops as animal feed and in the food industry raises concerns about its quality and adherence to sanitary and medical standards. The aim of this study was to investigate the degree of micromycetes contamination in grain fodder (wheat, corn, barley) in the northwestern Black Sea region, taking into account weather conditions during 2017-2022. Methods. After harvesting, grain samples were taken and inoculated into Petri dishes containing potato dextrose agar to establish the total number of fungi and determine their species composition. The number of fungal spores in 1g of feed was calculated using the method of serial dilutions. Micromycetes species were identified using classical methods based on cultural and morphological characteristics. Moisture conditions during the period of active vegetation, defined as having average daily temperatures above 10°C, were assessed using the hydrothermal coefficient (HTC) of the Selyaninov method. The HTC was not calculated for months without active air temperatures above 10 °C. Results. In the northwestern Black Sea region of Ukraine, the moderate and dry period has increased from four to eight months, with an HTC of 0.4-0.8. The period of sufficient moisture (2018, 2021) with an HTC of 1.0-1.5 lasted five months. The amount of precipitation and its seasonal distribution in the northwestern Black Sea region affects the contamination of grain fodder with micromycetes. During the years of severe drought (2017, 2022), wheat grain was primarily contaminated with Aspergillus fungi, while corn and barley were contaminated with Penicillium. In the years of moderate drought (2019, 2020), grain feed was most contaminated with Penicillium fungi, and during the period of sufficient moisture (2018, 2021), it was contaminated with Penicillium and Fusarium fungi. Conclusions. The mycobiota of grain fodder in the northwestern Black Sea region of Ukraine is dependent on natural and climatic conditions. Filamentous fungi were the most commonly found in corn grain. During a period of severe drought, the grain was contaminated with fungi from the genera Penicillium (81%) and Aspergillus (78%). The other four fungal genera found were Fusarium (42%), Alternaria (31%), Mucor (16%), and Rhizopus (5%). In years with adequate moisture, the occurrence of Penicillium and Aspergillus fungi decreased by 17% and 14%, respectively, while the incidence of Fusarium fungi increased by 9%. During the period of sufficient moisture, wheat grain samples were primarily affected by fungi of the genera Penicillium (52%) and Aspergillus (45%). Fungi of the genera Rhizopus, Mucor, and Alternaria were isolated at a frequency ranging from 5% to 10%. In severe drought, barley and corn samples were primarily affected by fungi of the genera Penicillium (51%) and Aspergillus (42%). During the period of sufficient moisture, the frequency of isolation for Alternaria, Mucor, and Rhizopus fungi was 9%, 8%, and 4%, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the course of excavations in 2016 in the north-eastern part of the Berezan settlement, sector “O-Western”, graffiti on two Ionian cups were found. One of them belongs to the “rosette bowl” type of the 2nd quarter of the 6th century BCE; the incompletely preserved inscription contains a dedication to Hermes, and the name of the owner, Deinon. The storage pit in which this vessel was discovered is dated to the 2nd quarter — mid. 6th century BCE on the basis of stratigraphy and pottery finds. The second graffito is inscribed on a large Ionian kylix with a bent rim (“Knickrandschale”). This long inscription bears the name of the owner, Pythes the son of Pericles. Despite the chronological proximity, these vessels belong to different periods of the Berezan settlement. The Deinon’s bowl is synchronous with the dugouts of the early settlement on Berezan, being one of the evidences that Greek population predominated. The Pytheas’ kylix seems to reveal the name of the owner of a large multi-chamber stone-and mudbrick house, built in the beginning of the 3rd quarter of the 6th century BCE.

This paper presents the results of research in a stationary experiment, launched in 1992 on grey forest coarse-dusty light loamy soil, aimed at studying the influence of long-term chemical amelioration and various fertilisation systems (mineral, organic, organic-mineral) on the nitrogen regime. Nitrogen is extremely important in agriculture, as all growth processes, photosynthesis, metabolism, and yield volume and quality eventually depend on this element. In Ukraine, the share of soils of woodland composition in total soil cover exceeds 33%, while the share of agricultural land is 25%. Since the humus content and its total reserves are an integral measure of soil formation and a key characteristic that determines the overall habitat of the soil, the article analyses changes in humus content as a response to the above factors. It has been found that the gross nitrogen content reflects the humus content, fully depends on and varies with the humus content of the latter. There is a high correlation between these indicators for all variants of the experiment (r = 0.991). The data obtained indicate that only with the use of green manure and by-products of the predecessor and moderate doses of mineral fertilisers in combination with liming, there is a moderate increase in total nitrogen as compared to the initial level. The rise amounted to 0.36 – 0.45 t/ha and in this case, it is possible to observe its extended reproduction. Only after mineralisation does the nitrogen of organic compounds become available to plants. The easily hydrolysed form of nitrogen is a fairly reliable indicator of whether the plants are supplied with this element. According to the classification, the soil under study, with a mobile compound content of 81.2 – 103 mg/kg, falls into the group of soils with a very low degree of nutrient supply, but the degree of hydrolysis of organic matter in it is high (9.6 – 10.2%). With the combined use of green manure, non-commodity crop products, and one-dose mineral fertilisers along with lime, this form of nitrogen increased by 27.5% compared to the control. Under the above fertiliser complex, there was an increase of 16.5 mg/kg in the amount of N-N03-+N-NH4+ compared to the control, plus 7.4 mg/kg of soil nitrification capacity

У статті розкрито правове регулювання та особливості застосування дистанційної роботи в умовах воєнного стану. Визначено роль дистанційної роботи в цих надзвичайних умовах, її особливе значення для збереження трудових відносин та організації відносної безпеки праці. Вказано на належне правове регулювання інституту дистанційної роботи на рівні КЗпП та інших законодавчих актів України, що забезпечує наявність легального визначення дистанційної роботи, порядку та умов її застосування, вимог щодо форми та змісту трудового договору тощо. Зазначено, що наявність типової форми трудового договору про дистанційну роботу свідчить, що сторони не мають права відступати від змісту трудового договору, але можуть конкретизувати його умови. Виокремлено особливості дистанційної роботи, які визначені за такими критеріями: порядок застосування, робоче місце, обмеження у застосуванні, режим роботи, забезпечення засобами виробництва, обладнанням, програмно-технічними засобами, робочий час, гарантування часу відпочинку. Обґрунтовано вплив правового режиму воєнного стану на внесення тимчасових змін в організацію трудових відносин, що позначилося і на порядку запровадження дистанційної роботи. Передусім, це стосується можливості її застосування за наказом (розпорядженням) роботодавця, без укладення письмового трудового договору та без повідомлення працівника про зміну істотних умов праці, як того вимагає законодавство в мирний час. Вказано на трансформацію правового регулювання робочого часу та часу відпочинку працівника: змінено порядок встановлення часу початку та завершення роботи, наразі це право належить роботодавцеві; збільшено нормальну та скорочену тривалість робочого часу працівників; обмежено тривалість щорічної оплачуваної відпустки 24 календарними днями та надання окремих видів відпусток працівникам, залученим до виконання робіт на об’єктах критичної інфраструктури; зупинено застосування норм окремих статей КЗпП, які регулюють робочий час та час відпочинку.

Abstract. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the principles and present the author’s methodology for creating strategic and investment plans for the development of educational institutions. The theoretical significance of the article is that it is based on understanding the work of Ukrainian and foreign scientists, the authors’ own experience in strategic management of educational institutions of different levels, analysis of experience in creating strategic and investment development plans for 11 vocational schools in Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporozhye regions (which became possible due to support of UNDP in Ukraine) the principles of creating a strategic and investment plan for the development of educational institutions are substantiated; the author’s vision on the technology of strategic management of an educational institution is offered; the author’s methodology of creating a strategic and investment plan for the development of an educational institution is presented. The practical significance of the article is that the proposed principles, technologies, tools and methodology tested in educational institutions of different levels can be used in the process of developing strategic management of relevant institutions, in particular to create a document «Strategic and investment development plan of the educational institution». It is substantiated that in the process of creating a strategic and investment plan for the development of the educational institution it is advisable to adhere to certain principles that will involve all stakeholders, teaching staff, lay the foundation for coordinated work on its (plan) implementation. Such principles are the principle of predictability (vision of the strategic and investment plan for the development of the institution as a document that should not only contain strategic initiatives and operational objectives aimed at changing the current situation (in terms of management, quality, competitiveness, etc.), but to implement initiatives aimed at change in the future); optimality (the need to identify a number of such strategic initiatives, the implementation of which could most optimally determine the change in the future); hierarchy (structuring of strategic and investment plan as a hierarchy of strategic initiatives, strategic goals and operational objectives, in order to ensure and optimal achievement of planned strategic goals); responsibility (involvement of teaching and non teaching staff in the process of generating strategic initiatives for the development of the educational institution as well as encouraging them to take responsibility for their implementation); environmentality (taking into account the general context (external environment) in which the institution is operated, and which, in turn, determines the patterns and internal logic of this development). The author’s methodology of creating a strategic and investment plan for the development of the educational institution is proposed, which provides the stages of analysis of the external environment of the educational institution, institutional analysis, competitive analysis, formation of a 3D view on the educational institution, generation of strategic initiatives for the future. The peculiarities of using the nominal groups technique to generate strategic initiatives for the development of an educational institution are substantiated.
