In this paper, I present theoretical assumptions behind Teoria / Literatura , a multifaceted digital research and publishing project on 20th-century Polish literary thought. The point of departure is the conjecture that the tensions between the digital and the humanistic in present-day DH help bring out in full relief the cardinal conflict line in Polish literary theory – between formalism/structuralism on the one hand and phenomenology on the other. Conversely, the order of concepts in the corpus of Polish literary theory enables the researcher to pinpoint the relation of the humanistic and the digital (or formalist) within DH so that it might be challenged and/or upgraded. In the first section, I provide an overview of the project's strata and its wide-ranging goal, i.e., a corpus of Polish literary theory. In section two, I examine the way in which the structure of the corpus can help elucidate the general problem of the relation between the digital and the humanistic in DH. Specifically, I relate this issue to the quarrel in constructive mathematics between mathematical intuitionism and formalism. The paper is devoted to developing a new fault detection scheme for an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) on the basis of so-called virtual sensors (VSs) which provide the information regarding the current status of a vehicle. This set contains the estimates of lateral and longitudinal forces as well as the torque. The paper proposes a novel robust VSs design scheme which yields such estimates taking into account inevitable disturbances/noise and modelling uncertainty without any knowledge about tire models used in the AGV. The obtained estimates are used to generate the residuals and to diagnose the current status of the vehicle. Finally, the paper shows the experimental results concerning the application of the developed methods to fault detection of the self-designed and constructed AGV. • Development of a compact AGV model. • Development of a set of estimators allowing determination forces and the torque. • Development of the rule-based AGV diagnostics system. • Effectiveness verification with the application of the experimental AGV data. The paper is devoted to the problem of the robust actuator fault diagnosis of the dynamic non-linear systems. In the proposed method, it is assumed that the diagnosed system can be modelled by the recurrent neural network, which can be transformed into the linear parameter varying form. Such a system description allows developing the designing scheme of the robust unknown input observer within H ∞ framework for a class of non-linear systems. The proposed approach is designed in such a way that a prescribed disturbance attenuation level is achieved with respect to the actuator fault estimation error, while guaranteeing the convergence of the observer. The application of the robust unknown input observer enables actuator fault estimation, which allows applying the developed approach to the fault tolerant control tasks. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
