Schwannoma, typically a non-cancerous tumor originating from Schwann cells, seldom occurs in the retroperitoneal area. Its clinical manifestation varies, often remaining asymptomatic for an extended period until it enlarges, exerting pressure on neighboring organs. This article presents a unique instance of retroperitoneal pelvic schwannoma in a 75-year-old woman, initially presenting with unusual lower back discomfort. Imaging was used to characterize the tumor, and anatomopathological examination established the preoperative diagnosis of pelvic schwannoma and its benign nature. The clinical, imaging, and anatomopathological aspects of this pelvic schwannoma case are elucidated herein.

Askin's tumor is a rare primitive neuroectodermal tumoral developing from the soft tissues of the chest wall. Its diagnosis approach is complex and requires a multidisciplinary team. We report a case of an incidentally discovered anterior chest wall Askin tumor in a 27-year-old woman, following a forced chest pain, having motivated to perform a chest CT scan. We will discuss the nonspecific imaging findings and the characteristic histopathological features that confirm a diagnosis.

Immune check point inhibitor has made far-reaching changes in the management of lung adenocarcinoma improving drastically the prognosis. We present a case of a 50 years old women beneficiary of pembrolizumab who has suffered an acute pneumonitis diagnosed with CT imaging the days following the initiation of the drug. The occurrence of immune-related events such as pneumonitis complicates the use of immunotherapy and requires a well verse radiologist in the matter to diagnosis and helps prevent further aggravation.

The peritoneal pseudotumor localization of tuberculosis is a rare clinical form, representing 1 to 3% of extrapulmonary site of tuberculosis. It represents the sixth most common extra pulmonary site of tuberculosis. It is a great mimicker with major overlapping clinical and imaging features. Differentiating peritoneal tuberculosis and peritoneal carcinomatosis in imaging remains challenging. We present a case of a 37-year old woman complaining of chronic abdominal pain and distension who has been diagnosed to have peritoneal carcinomatosis based on CT findings, histopathological study then revealed necrotizing, granulomatous inflammation consistent with tuberculosis. This case showed the interest to be aware of the common and uncommon imaging features of tuberculosis by radiologists to better assess for alternative differential diagnosis.

Leptomeningeal carcinomatosis is extremely rare in colorectal adenocarcinoma, its incidence is far less than 1%. The neurological symptoms are pleomorphic. The most common symptoms included Headache, ataxia, cranial nerve palsies, meningismus, focal weakness or numbness. MRI is the most sensitive and specific imaging method for screening, positive diagnosis and pre-treatment of leptomeningeal carcinomatosis. The presence of appropriate neuroimaging abnormalities in a patient with typical clinical features and history of colorectal adenocarcinoma enables to make the diagnosis of leptomeningeal metastases. As well as a biological confirmation is necessary. Treatment usually comprises site-specific radiation therapy in addition to intrathecal and systemic chemotherapy. The case aims to describe the MRI characteristics of leptomeningeal metastases so as to formulate the diagnosis and the subsequent treatment.

Bronchobiliary fistula (BBF) is one of the most exceptional complications following hepatic surgery. By integrating evidence-based case studies from existing literature, this review offers critical insights into the efficacy of diverse imaging modalities and therapeutic approaches across a broad spectrum of clinical scenarios. Computed tomography, and magnetic resonance cholangiography or even scintigraphy shows an abnormal tractus between biliary ducts and pulmonary bronchi and minimally invasive techniques using endoscopy are considered the techniques of choice. Surgery should only be considered in complicated cases due to significant morbidity and mortality rate. We report the case of a 46-year-old man with metastatic adenocarcinoma of the rectum involving the liver, treated with metastasectomy, which was complicated by a BBF. Abdominal wall hernias are a common imaging finding. Their most common complications include bowel obstruction, incarceration, strangulation and trauma. We report an exceptional case of spigelian hernia in 55 years old women complicated by perforation and massive subcutaneous emphysema which was correctly diagnosed by CT scan. This case showed the interest of CT scan with multiplanar reconstructions in the confirmation of the diagnosis.

Orbital metastasis originating from breast carcinoma, particularly ductal carcinoma, represents a rare clinical entity, with lobular carcinoma usually being more common. Long-term surveillance in breast cancer patients is crucial for early detection of metastasis. Herein, we present a case of a 70-year-old woman with a history of left ductal breast carcinoma, diagnosed and treated 12 years ago. She then developed left eye vision loss, diplopia, enophthalmos, and chemosis in October 2024. Imaging revealed orbital metastasis involving the left superior and lateral rectus extraocular muscles. Biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of orbital metastases arising from ductal breast carcinoma. This case underscores the significance of long-term surveillance in breast cancer patients, as metastasis can manifest years after the initial diagnosis. Despite its rarity, orbital metastasis warrants consideration in the differential diagnosis of ocular symptoms in patients with a history of breast carcinoma. Adenomyoepithelioma represents a rare tumor of the breast characterized by biphasic proliferation of epithelial and myoepithelial cells. Owing to its nonspecific clinical presentation, the rarity, and the morphological pitfalls in differential diagnosis, the diagnosis may be extremely difficult especially on limited samples such as core needle biopsy; thus, the diagnosis is histological, which is confirmed by the specificities of the immunohistochemical analyses. Here we report a case of a 64-year-old female who presented a benign adenomyoepithelioma diagnosed on core needle biopsy, review the clinicopathological features of breast adenomyoepithelioma diagnosed on core needle biopsy, and discuss the useful clues to prompt accurate diagnosis. The "Mercedes-Benz" sign is a term used to describe a triradiate pattern of gas found within gallstones. This pattern was initially observed on abdominal radiographs and later confirmed on computed tomography. It allows the differentiation with causes of gas within the gallbladder such as emphysematous cholecystitis, biliary-enteric fistula, sphincterotomy, and cholangitis from gas-forming organisms.
