Therefore, this study aimed to explore the implementation of health promoting hospital standard at a private hospital in Depok, Indonesia. This descriptive study was conducted at the end of 2023. A purposive sampling with a total of 20 health workers who are responsible for health promotion programs from various backgrounds, including nurses, physiotherapists, laboratory technicians, midwives, and pharmacists, was involved in this study. The instrument containing 35 questions was adopted from the Health Promoting Hospital Guidelines issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2018, which included four standards, namely: 1) policy and management, 2) assessment, 3) intervention, as well as 4) monitoring and evaluation. Meanwhile, descriptive analysis was performed using SPSS version 29.0. The results showed that assessment standards had the highest average score of 73.72, followed by the intervention of 72.71 out of a maximum of 100. The lowest score was reported in the monitoring and evaluation standard, with an average of 67.82. The components within each standard had an average score of less than 3 out of a maximum of 4. Organizational changes through short-term interventions, including leadership involvement and training the staff, were necessary to enhance the implementation effectiveness of health promoting hospital standards.Keywords: health promoting hospital, service quality, hospital management, developing countries

The basic rate of a hospital is a benchmark for the sustainability of a hospital in providing services to hospital patients. Determining rates in a hospital requires a lot of consideration, many factors that become variables to be taken into account. This study aims to determine a method of determining rates that are in accordance with the needs of the hospital. This study is a descriptive study of the assessment of previous studies compared to the double distribution method. Most studies state that the ABC method is appropriate for determining hospital rates because it calculates rates based on activities in the hospital. However, with the double distribution method, it applies two stages to determine prices from work units that do not have income to the second stage, namely service units. So that the cost burden will end up in the service unit. Basically, the determination of the calculation method needs to be adjusted to the complexity of the hospital itself, because the application of costs in each has differences from one another.

Until now, Indonesia is still a world exporter of essential oils, including citronella oil. So that the role of farming communities in the development of Indonesia's essential oil industry is very helpful. For this reason, a study was carried out on response of fertilization and harvest interval on the intensity of leaf spot diseases of citronella grass, and productivity in ultisols soil which was carried out from October 2020 to September 2022. The experiment was arranged in a randomized block design in factorial with 9 treatments, as the first factor is 3 levels of an organic fertilizer (NPK); P1 = 25 g clumps −1, P2 = 37.5 g clumps −1 and P3 = 50 g clumps −1. The second factor is the harvest interval with three levels which is 4 = harvest interval once every 4 months, 3 = harvest interval every 3 months and 2 = harvest interval once every 2 months, repeated three times. Each treatment plot consisted of 24 clumps with a plant spacing of 1 × 1 × 1 m. Varieties used is Serai wangi 1. Parameters observed were intensity of leaf spot diseases, vegetative growth, livestock production, oil production, quality analysis and R/C ratio. The results showed that there was an effect of fertilizer doses and harvest intervals on the development of leaf spot disease. It was seen that at the application of fertilizer doses of 37.5 g clumps −1 with harvest intervals once every three months showed the lowest disease attacks, namely on Cuvularia sp and Pestalotia sp (5.98%, 5.42% and 7.98 %, 7.44 %). In addition, the development of vegetative growth is also influenced by the application of fertilizer doses and harvest intervals on the parameters of canopy width, plant height, leaf length, leaf width and number of tillers. The best fertilizer dose is 37.50 g clump −1 successively (175.40 cm, 172.29 cm, 113.62 cm, 2.36 cm and 119.59 stems), with harvest intervals every 3 months (179.40 cm, 187.29 cm, 119.44 cm, 2.45 cm and 120.00 stems), as well as fresh leaves production tons/ha/year and oil production kg/ha/year the best is the application of fertilizer doses of 37.50 g clumps−1 with harvest intervals once every 3 months (67.81 tons−ha-year and 578.61 kg−ha- year,with, 67.40 tons–ha-th and 517.60 kg–ha-th). For oil quality, numerically, the application of fertilizer at a dose of 37.50 g of clump −1 with harvest intervals every 3 months is still high. The proper R/C ratio for farming occurs in the 2 nd year by administering a fertilizer dose of 37.50 g clump−1 and harvesting intervals once every 3 months with an increase of 116.67%. So, the citronella grass variety Serai wangi 1 can be developed on ultisol soil types by applying an organic fertilizer (NPK).

The population in this study were Muslim students grade 11 and 12 at secondary high school living and studying in Jakarta Metropolitan area. A total of 440 samples have been selected using non-probability sampling. In this study, the independent variables were factors associated with vaccination behaviors that were derived from the HBM and TPB theories, while the dependent variables were vaccination uptake and vaccination intention. Factors associated with the dependent variables have been identified using chi-square and Mann–Whitney tests.Results: About 65% respondents had received COVID-19 vaccine and 72% of those who had not received COVID-19 vaccine had the intention to receive the vaccine. Some of the behavioral model variables such as the perceived susceptibility score, perceived severity score, perceived benefits score, perceived barriers score, self-efficacy score, attitude score, and social norms score were significantly associated with COVID-19 vaccine uptake among high school students. Furthermore, all of the behavioral model variables, ie, perceived susceptibility score, perceived severity score, perceived benefits score, perceived barriers score, cues to action score, self-efficacy score, attitude score, social norms score, and perceived behavioral control score were significantly associated with an intention of being vaccinated.Conclusion: The vaccination for students can be set in more affordable locationsfor example, in schools. Antifungal effectiveness of several essential oil botanical pesticides and their mixtures against the fungus Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense (Foc) which causes fusarium wilt disease of banana plants in vitro, was conducted from March to July 2023. The aim of the study was to obtain an effective botanical pesticide formulation and the right concentration for controlling the Foc causing Fusarium wilt disease in banana plants. The study was arranged in a completely randomized design in factorials with three replications. The experiment was carried out using two methods: a) Suppressing colony diameter using Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) medium, b). Suppressing colony biomass using Potato Dextrose Broth (PDB) medium. The treatment was the formulation of essential oil (F) botanical pesticides as the first factor; F1 (Cymbopogon flexuosus oils), F2 (C. nardus essential oils), F3 (Eugenia aromatica leaf essential oils), F4 (Cinnamomum burmanii leaf oils), F5 (F1+F2), F6 (F1+F3), F7 (F1+F4) and F8 (F2 +F3), F9 (F2+F4) and F10 (F3+F4) The level of concentration (C) as a second factor C1(1000 ppm) and C2(2000 ppm). The results showed that the F3 (E. aromatica leaf oils) treatment had the best antifungal activity against Foc. At a concentration of 2000 ppm inhibition of the diameter growth and colony biomass reached 100%, followed by the F1 treatment (C. flexuosus oils) up to 89.73% and 95.75%, the F2 treatment (C. nardus oils) reach 84.58% and 89.67% and the lowest antifungal activity is F4 (C. burmanii leaf oils) which only 77.08% and 84.50%. The best mixed formulations were F5(F1+ F3) and F8(F2 + F3), at the same concentration suppression of colony growth reaching 100%. In general, mixed essential oils formulation have shown to increase the effectiveness of the antifungal activities.

Spinach and kale are popular vegetables in Indonesia. Spinach and kale production in Indonesia in 2021 will be 341,196 tonnes and 171,706 tonnes respectively. Farmers generally use insecticides to maintain the quality and quantity of vegetable production. The main problem with inappropriate use of insecticides is that there are residues in vegetable products. An interval between the last application and harvest time that is too short can cause high insecticide residues on agricultural products. The aim of this research is to analyze residue data for several active insecticide ingredients used on spinach and kale. The research carried out included field tests using pesticide formulations containing the active ingredients deltamethrin, profenofos, imidacloprid, chlorantraniliprole and carbofuran. Next, the residues of several active ingredients will be analyzed in the GIS Laboratory using GC. Data from residue analysis of several active ingredients will be compared with the maximum residue limits in National Standardization agency of Indonesia. The results obtained were residues of profenofos, imidacloprid and deltamethrin in spinach plants below MRL. Meanwhile, the residues of profenofos, imidacloprid and deltamethrin in kale were above the BMR. The profenofos residue in water spinach is 3.6546 mg/kg above the BMR 1 mg/kg based on BSN, the imidacloprid residue is 0.5195 mg/kg above the BMR 0.5 mg/kg based on the BSN and the deltamethrin residue is 0.9084 mg/kg above the BMR 0, 5 mg/kg based on BSN. Meanwhile, the active ingredients chlorantraniliprole and carbofuran were not detected. This is influenced by spraying frequency and climatic conditions. Apart from that, spraying intervals of 3 hsp and 7 hsp also affect residues on spinach and kale plants. The closer the spraying time to harvest time will affect the residue level in the plant. The physical and chemical properties that cause degradation of the active insecticide ingredient influence the reduction in residue.

This study aims to obtain a formulation of the botanical pesticide P aduncum with additives and the right type of solvent. The research was arranged in a completely randomized design in factorial, the first factor being essential oil additives; citronellagrass oils (Andropogon nardus), lemongrass oils (Cimbopogon flexiosus), Ceylon cinnamon leaf oils (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), Padang cinnamon leaf oils (Cinnamomum burmanii), clove leaf oils (Eugenia aromatica) and wild ginger leaf oils (Elettariopsis slahmong), both types of solvent (ethanol, methanol and turpentine). The experiment was carried out at the Laing Solok IPPTP parasitology laboratory. The results showed that all additive materials had a positive effect in increasing the antifungal activity of the botanical pesticide P aduncum essential oil with different effectiveness against the test fungi. Citronella oil showed the highest antifungal effectiveness compared to other additives, especially against S. rolfsii and Pestalotia sp, with diameter and biomass inhibition of fungal colonies tested S rolfsii 92.15% and 92.70%, Pestalotia sp 84.82% and 86,34% and F. oxysporum 43.87 and 47.17%. All solvents can be used for the formulation of the botanical pesticide P aduncum, ethanol solvent is better than methanol and turpentine with the highest inhibition capacity of the diameter and biomass of the fungus colonies tested S rolfsii 91.28% and 92.05%, Pestalotia sp 83.56% and 86.02% and for F. oxysporum 40.31 and 48.36%, respectively.

This study aims to see the effectiveness of essential oils of leaves, rhizomes and fraction of wild ginger Ellettariopsis slahmong CK Lim against the pathogenic fungus Sclerotium rolfsii which causes rot disease of the stem base of peanut plants an in vitro.The study consisted of two sub activities: (a) inhibited of colony diameter using Patato Dextrosa Agar (PDA) medium and (b) inhibited of colony biomass using Potato dextrose Broth (PDB) medium, the treatments tested were leaf essential oil and rhizome of wild ginger and fractions A1, B2, C3 and D4, with concentration levels (0, 100, 250 and 500 ppm). Experiments (a) and (b) were arranged in the form of a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) in factorial each with 4 replications. The results showed that the leaf essential oil and rhizome of wild ginger and its fractions had the potential to be used as a vegetable fungicide. The A1 fraction has the best antifungal effectiveness compared to the B2 fraction, leaf oil, rhizomes and other fractions, with the highest inhibition of diameter and biomass of S rolfsii colony the 49.47% and 51.46%. Essential oils of leaves and rhizome oil are not statistically significantly different, but in numerically leaf oil are better than rhizome oil. The C3 fraction showed the lowest colony diameter inhibition and biomass of 34.70% and 36.95%. The best concentration level in inhibition the growth of S rolfsii mushroom is 500 ppm, with inhibition of the diameter and biomass of the colony by 81.74% and 84.25%.

Induced mutagenesis is one of the most widely used breeding methods for rapidly increasing genetic diversity in many crops. This study used gamma radiation and diethyl sulfate (DES) to increase the genetic diversity in two faba bean genotypes. The genetic diversity assessment was based on 12 qualitative traits. The purpose of this study was to assess the genetic diversity in the M2 faba bean mutant populations and to select promising mutant. A total of 5271 M2 seeds generated from the M1 generation of two genotypes—Hassawi 2 and ILB4347—were used in this study. The seeds of M1 were obtained by gamma-ray exposure (25 and 50 Gy) and treatment of 0.01, 0.02, and 0.05% DES. A total of 4333 (82.2%) seeds germinated, of which 4102 plants survived and were screened for morphological diversity. A total of 36 mutant types are presented in this study. Determinate plant type, white flower color, white hilum, and black seed coat color were some of desirable traits that were considered for further generations. Multivariate-based principal component analyses showed that high genetic diversity was induced by gamma radiation and DES in faba bean mutant populations. This study revealed the potency of gamma radiation and DES on increasing genetic diversity and demonstrated the successful program of induced mutagenesis in the faba bean. Penggunaan insektisida sintetik memiliki keuntungan, namun juga mempunyai efek yang merugikan/berbahaya terhadap kesehatan manusia maupun lingkungan. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat ditawarkan adalah penggunaan biopestisida. Biopestisida lebih aman terhadap manusia dan lingkungan karena mudah terurai. Potensi biopestisida sangat besar di Indonesia yang kaya akan beraneka ragam tanaman yang tersedia sepanjang tahun. Tujuan kegiatan ini mensosialisasikan biopestisida kepada masyarakat cara membuat dan mengenal tanaman yang dapat digunakan, untuk mengurangi bahaya insektisida sintetik. Sosialisasi dan kunjungan ke Kebun Percobaan Balittro, Laing Solok, penyuluhan dan praktek langsung pembuatan biopestisida sederhana dari tanaman lokal. Beberapa tanaman lokal berpotensi sebagai biopestisida. Biopestisida sederhana dapat diekstrak dengan air dan penambahan sabun/deterjen. Contoh tanaman yang dapatkan digunakan sebagai biopestisida Toona sureni, Evodiaa suaveolens, Lantana camara, Geranium spp., Tagetes patula, Andropogon nardus dan lain-lain.

The genotype–environment interaction causes difficulties in selecting stable and ideal soybean cultivars across crop rotation models. Thus, this study aimed to provide the best estimates of soybean yields in every crop rotation model for recommendations in the rainfed agroforestry system using GGE biplot and EBLUP. In this study, the productivity and stability of 15 soybean cultivars were evaluated using four crop rotation models, that is, soybean planting after fallow (F–S), soybean planting after maize (M–S), soybean planting after rice (R–S), and continuous soybean (S–S) in dry and wet seasons at Menggoran Forest Resort, Playen District, Gunungkidul Regency, Special Province of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Results in the dry season revealed that the Dering I cultivar had the highest yield in F–S and R–S of 1.267 and 1.375 tons ha−1 and the Grobogan cultivar in M–S and S–S of 1.200 and 1.349 tons ha−1, respectively. During the wet season, the Grobogan cultivar showed the highest yields in F–S, M–S, and S–S of 2.187, 2.435, and 2.247 tons ha−1, and the Dega I cultivar in R–S of 2.049 tons ha−1. Based on the GGE biplot and Shukla model, Dering I and Grobogan cultivars were classified as fairly and relatively stable in dry and wet seasons. The cultivars that are well suited to the environment can maximize the yield potential of these cultivars and help to build a sustainable production system.

Indonesia is one of the countries that is categorized as a disaster-prone country. BNPB noted an increase in the number of disasters in Indonesia in the last 10 years, including earthquakes, volcanic eruptions to tidal waves and abrasion. West Sulawesi is one of the provinces prone to disasters, one of which is in Mirring Village, Polewali Mandar. Mirring Village is a coastal area that is prone to coastal abrasion and tidal waves, therefore the area is planted with mangroves to withstand tidal waves from the sea. Unfortunately, the people of Mirring village did not understand the function of the mangrove until finally Rumah Zakat through Relawan Inspirasi came to provide education regarding the use of mangroves, disaster mitigation to become a disaster-resilient family and an economically resilient family. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The data collected with interview with 17 respondents. The results show that the community welcomes the community empowerment program towards a disaster-resilient village by Rumah Zakat. The community has understood the function of mangroves and participated in disaster training to become disaster-resilient families. The community also initiated the existence of crab ponds and mangrove cultivation which later could become their source of income and form an economically resilient family.

Low prices of rubber has been a serious problem to rubber growers in Indonesia. Rubber-based intercropping systems offers a practical solution to this issue and increasing overall productivity, for example by growing upland rice and maize between the rubber tree rows. This study was aimed to determine the suitable spacing in rubber planting to facilitate long-term rubber-based intercropping systems. A field experiment was established in a smallholder rubber plantation in the Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan with area of 50 ha. Two planting patterns of rubber clone PB260 were tested: (1) single row planting pattern (SR) by 6 m x 3 m, and (2) double row planting pattern (DR) by 18 m x 2 m x 2.5 m. The experiment showed that the girth of the rubber trees with the SR system at the 1st tapping year was slightly larger than that in the DR system, even though statistically it was not signifi cant. The latex yield per tree of SR and DR systems were similar, however, latex yield per hectare of SR system was higher than the DR system due to a higher tree population in the SR system. The DR system was technically suitable for long term intercropping, because when the rubber tree reached 8 to 9-year-old, the light penetration was > 80% at distance of about 4 m from the rubber tree rows. Economically, DR system can increase the added values for rubber farmers because it allows long term intercropping. Rubber-based intercropping with DR system is suitable to be applied, especially by smallholders, with a marginal benefi t cost ratio of around 2.07. Genetic diversity enrichment is urgently necessary to develop climate-resilient faba bean cultivars. The present study aimed to measure the enrichment of genetic diversity and changes in the population structure of faba bean, following induced mutagenesis. 120 samples, including 116 M2 mutant plants, generated by exposing the ILB4347 accession to four mutagen treatments (25 and 50 Gray gamma radiation and 0.01%, and 0.05% diethyl sulfate) and four reference genotypes were characterized using 11 amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) primer combinations. The AFLP markers generated 1687 polymorphic alleles, including 756 alleles (45%) that were detected infrequently (f ≤ 0.1). The total allele count of the mutant plants ranged from 117 to 545. We observed a wide range of banding patterns and counts among the mutant plants, showing the high genetic diversity induced by mutation. Mutations also changed the population structure, by altering 31.78% of the total membership coefficient (Q). Although mutations changed the population structure, Nei’s genetic distance showed that the mutant population remained closely related to its control parent. This is the first report examining genetic diversity and population changes in faba bean mutant populations and, thus, could facilitate the application of induced mutagenesis during faba bean breeding.

Background: Faba bean is one of the most important feed grain legume crops in the world. However, this crop is a recalcitrant species for in vitro regeneration. Methods: In this study, in vitro shoot proliferation of ten faba bean genotypes, that are classified according to their seed size into small, medium and large, were investigated in response to different light regimes and thidiazuron (TDZ) treatments. Result: Incubation under different light regimes, explant type as well as genotypes influenced seedling growth and axillary shoot multiplication of faba bean. The explants with single cotyledon and incubated under continuous darkness for 6 days resulted higher number of shoot than nodal explants. Medium size seeded genotype (ILB4347) produced the highest shoot and root length and shoot proliferation as compared with large (Luz) or small (Triple White) seeded genotypes. The effects of TDZ concentrations (2-10 M/L) and exposure duration (10 and 20 days) on axillary shoot multiplication were investigated for the ten faba bean using cotyledonary explants. The overall mean of TDZ time exposure showed that treatment of 20 days exposure had higher number of shoot compare to 10 days exposure treatment with 3.77 shoot per explant. On the basis of genotype used, the three most responsive genotype in tissue culture were medium sized seeds genotypes (ILB4347, Hassawi 2 and Misr 3 with 4.76, 4.40 and 4.15 shoot per explant, respectively). ILB4347 were the most responsive genotype in tissue culture. Treatment of 8 M TDZ after 20 days followed by 2 weeks on MS medium without PGRs generated the highest proliferation with 6.63 shoot per explant. The Integrated Population Information System (SINTREN) is a collection of actions to organize and distribute death certificate documents and population data electronically or via the internet using existing technology, communication, and information facilities. The SINTREN system is used with the aim of providing convenience in population administration services related to death certificates in Cirebon Regency. This research aims to review whether the management of the application or website is able to cut the distance and time of users to be more efficient. The research employs a qualitative approach through observation, documentation, and observations, with a particular focus on informants who were directly involved in the application of the SINTEREN application for issuing death certificates. Data analysis was conducted using Budiani's theory of effectiveness, which includes evaluating the accuracy of program goals, the effectiveness of program socialization, the achievement of program objectives, and the monitoring mechanisms in place. The study contributes by analyzing and interpreting data collected from various sources, providing insights into its implementation, functionality, and impact on improving population and civil registration services. This study could help identify areas for improvement, enhance system efficiency, and inform future policy decisions regarding population information management in the region. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Electricity demand in Indonesia is currently increasing along with population growth, economic growth, and development. This increase can lead to an energy crisis if it is not accompanied by the provision of additional power plants. This study aims to analyze the micro-hydro potential located at Bangkong Waterfall, Kuningan Regency. The research uses a quantitative approach that begins with field surveys and data collection from relevant agencies. Next, the dependable discharge analysis uses the Thiessen polygon method based on rainfall data and watershed area, as well as flow discharge analysis using the rational method. The results of calculations using the Thiessen polygon method and the rational method yield Q80 with a minimum discharge of 0.009 m³/d and a maximum discharge of 1.160 m³/d. For direct discharge analysis, the Float method is used to calibrate the calculation results with field conditions. The direct discharge analysis using the Float method yields 0.32 m³/d. Based on the efficiency considerations of the micro-hydro power plant (MHPP) components such as a head of 20 meters, turbine type efficiency, water density, gravity factor, and flow discharge in the pipe of 0.109 m³/d, the potential power that can be generated at the Bangkong Waterfall micro-hydro power plant is 16,097.23 Watts or 16.097 Kilowatts. This research aimed to explore the challenges of the COVID‐19 vaccination program from the perspective of multiple stakeholders in rural areas of eastern Indonesia. This qualitative participatory action research involved 115 participants selected from various groups in 20 subdistricts across five provinces, including Health Service workers, police staff monitoring the vaccination program, religious figures, and adult and youth community leaders. Furthermore, focus group discussion was conducted using semi‐structured interview guidelines based on the WHO Strategic Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE) for vaccine and immunization model. The manifest content approach was employed to analyze the visible contents within the text. Implementation of the vaccination program was complicated by contextual, individual, and group factors, as well as vaccine and vaccination‐specific factors. The contextual factors were socioeconomic, religious, and cultural conditions, changes in government policies, and geographical and climatic obstacles. Meanwhile, examples of group and individual factors were people's beliefs of COVID‐19 being harmless and their invulnerability to the disease, along with misinformation and disinformation about vaccination, and fatalistic attitudes. Factors related to the vaccine and vaccination process include limited vaccine supplies, inadequate supporting facilities, and insufficient administration of vaccines. Multiple and complex challenges of COVID‐19 vaccination in the rural areas of eastern Indonesia need attention from the local and national government, as well as other parties including the private sector, socio‐religious figures and organizations, and the media. In order to ascertain how explosive load influences orthotropic slabs with short span stiffeners partially positioned in the x-direction, the purpose of this study is to perform a numerical analysis. The maximum displacement of a floor surface with respect to the force of an explosive load and the angle of inclination. It is feasible to calculate the impact of the angle of inclination and the height of the blast load on the vertical deflection of the slab using the 6th order polynomial blast equation, as long as the local blast load is positioned in the center of the slab. An analysis reveals that the vertical deflection of the slab is affected by the timing of the explosion. Specifically, a more powerful explosion has a diminishing effect on the deflection of the slab. The inclination angle has no major impact on the outcomes of deflection. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Population Integrated Information System application program in Cirebon Regency conducted by the Population and Civil Registration Office of Cirebon Regency. This program is based on rules and regulations regulated by local and central governments, and involves various stakeholders and available resources. A qualitative approach was used in this study, with the purpose sampling method to provide an overview of the phenomena that occur. Program effectiveness based on Budiani's theory identifies four effectiveness indicators, namely target setting, program socialization, program objectives and program monitoring. The findings show that the program has been running well in the issuance of death certificates, although there are still some challenges faced, such as the lack of death certificate issuance services offered by the Population and Civil Registration Office of Cirebon Regency; second, the lack of public knowledge about the SINTREN application offered by the Population and Civil Registration Office of Cirebon Regency; and third, the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) is still insufficient in an effort to socialize the SINTREN application to the people of Cirebon Regency. Therefore, the study concluded that more enhanced efforts are maximizing human resources, repairing unstable networks and further socializing or educating the public to further improve the making of death certificates due to the benefits of the Death Certificate Document. Background: Patient compliance in carrying out blood transfusions is important in the management of people with thalassemia. The family has a strong influence on determining treatment, the support provided is instrumental support, assessment support, informational support and emotional support. To determine the relationship between family support and blood transfusion compliance in children suffering from thalassemia major Method: This research is quantitative research that is correlational in nature. The sampling technique in this research used total sampling, where samples were taken from the entire available population, namely 55 people. This study used measuring instruments in the form of a family support questionnaire and an observation sheet by looking at the thalassemia patient's book in the room. Results: Most or around 90.9% of children with thalassemia are guardians in the Children's Care Room at Pasteur Regional Hospital, Bandung, and receive good family support. Most or around 65.5% of children suffering from thalassemia major in the Children's Care Room at Pasteur Hospital Bandung are obedient to undergoing blood transfusions. Conclusion: There is a relationship between family support and blood transfusion compliance in children with thalassemia in the Children's Care Room at Pasteur Hospital, Bandung, with a p-value of 0.043. One of the efforts to strengthen the role of women in the family context to improve overall family health and welfare is the Increasing the Role of Women towards a Healthy and Prosperous Family program. After one year, an analysis was carried out to find out what factors affect the effectiveness of this program. Specifically examine the influence of participation factors in programs, education, training, access to resources, culture and norms on increasing the role of women in the family and further on family welfare. Also culture and norms as moderator variables for the influence between changes in roles in the family on family well-being. Respondents were program participants, and were immediately interviewed for filling out questionnaires, which were processed with PLS Smart4 Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) statistics. The findings of this study are that participation factors in programs, education, training, access to resources to change the role of women in the family play a role in the effectiveness of family welfare programs. Culture and norms proved to be moderator variables for the influence of changing roles in the family on family well-being. Meanwhile, culture and norms are not moderator variables for the influence of participant participation in programs and training education held on participants' access to resources. With this, it can be understood what factors need to be done to be fostered and improved, so as to accelerate the success process of the program to increase the role of women towards a healthy and prosperous family in Indonesia. Introduction: Hospitals are required to implement patients safety incident (PSI) reporting, analysis, and problem-solving. Self-assessment is important for exploring gaps and strengthening PSI reporting and learning system. Objectives: This study examined PSI reporting and learning systems through self-assessment based on WHO guidance, analysis of section scores by hospital class, and analysis of section relationships. Method: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 193 health workers from 47 Indonesian non-profit private hospitals selected using non-probability sampling. Samples in each hospital consisted of seven hospital staff, including quality and patients' safety committee, infectious diseases control committee, manager/head of nursing, as well as functional staff comprising doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and nutritionists. Six aspects based on WHO guidance were measured in this study namely 1) environment for reporting, 2) reporting rules and content, 3) analysis and investigation, 4) governance, 5) action and learning, as well as 6) patients' and family engagement. The data obtained were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis. Results: The results showed that the total average score was 64.7 ± 3.3, and the average score on all components of PSI reporting and learning system was minimum 59.3 and maximum 69.6 of a total score of 100. The lowest average score was found in patients' and family engagement component at 59.3 ± 8.4. Class B hospitals had higher average scores on each component than class C and D hospitals, except on the action and learning and patients' and family engagement section. There was a significant positive linear correlation between each section of PSI reporting and learning system (p -value < 0.01). Conclusion: The PSI reporting and learning system in hospitals is in need of improvement across all aspects. One specific area that requires attention is the implementation of mechanisms for patient and family engagement, which can play an important role in promoting safety programs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
