Fried anchovy (Stolephorussp.) is a popular food in Indonesia due to its good taste and ampleavailability and affordability. Yet, the actual nutritional aspects of this local dish remain uninvestigated.This study aimed to determine the best temperature and time for frying anchovies and to compare thehistology and fatty acid and cholesterol profiles of fresh and fried anchovy meat. Anchovies werefried at 160°C or 180°C for 5, 10, 15, and 20 minutes, and the best frying conditions, namely at180°C for 15 minutes, were established from the highest organoleptic test scores from a tasting panelassessment. Histologically, fried anchovy meat became shrunk, compact, and brittle, as explainedby identified myomere changes. The fatty acid profile of fresh vs. fried anchovies revealed a markedreversal in omega-6: omega-3 ratios, and fried anchovies contained more cholesterol than fresh ones(0.825 mg/100 gvs. 0.270 mg/100 g, respectively). These changes were triggered by the use of oiland the temperature-driven chemical changes inherent to the frying process. Having investigated theorganoleptic and nutritional aspects of frying anchovy meat, we propose the results of this investigationas a guide for dietary decisions and as a reference for further investigation on the subject.

Trypsin production from skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis) viscera is one significant way to increase the value of fish’s industrial waste. The present work reports the biochemical properties of trypsin from skipjack tuna viscera. The trypsin was fractionated using 0–60% ammonium sulfate and dialyzed. The enzyme was characterized to find the optimum temperature and pH for the substrate N-α-benzoyl-dl-arginine-p-nitroanilide. The 40–50% ammonium sulfate fractionation showed the highest activity at a specific activity of 1.66 U/mg and yield of 69.91%. Specific activity increased after dialysis to 2.17 U/mg with 4.49 times purity and yield of 39.20%. The molecular weights of the enzymes were estimated as 25, 29, and 35 kDa based on the enzyme activity separated by electrophoresis. The enzyme worked optimally at a temperature and pH of 50–60°C and 8.0, respectively. Metal ions (Ca2+, K+, Na+, Mg2+) at a concentration of 20 mM showed no influence on the activity. Enzyme activity was inhibited by Zn2+ at 20 mM, phenyl methyl sulfonyl fluoride (PMSF), benzamidine, and soybean trypsin inhibitor (SBTI), which confirmed the characteristics of a serine protease.

Seaweed contains various bioactive compounds rich in pharmacological potentials, such as antioxidants and anti-arthritic. This study aims to determine the antioxidant and anti-arthritic activities of the methanolic extract of Halimeda tuna. Halimeda tuna samples were extracted using the maceration method and methanol. The methanol extract was tested for antioxidant (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP)) and anti-arthritic activity using denatured bovine serum albumin (BSA). The methanol extract was also subjected to phytochemical and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis. Research results revealed that the extract yield was 0.50 ± 0.06%. Phytochemical analysis showed that H. tuna methanolic extract contained flavonoids, steroids, and alkaloids. GC-MS analysis showed that H. tuna methanolic extract contained steroids, fatty alcohols, and fatty acids. The antioxidant activity tests revealed an IC50 value of 299.98 ± 121.15 ppm and a FRAP value of 200.02 ± 8.50 M/g, categorized as a weak antioxidant. Anti-arthritic activity of H. tuna methanolic extract showed an IC50 value of 877.29 ± 209.84 ppm. The anti-arthritic activity of H. tuna methanolic extract was lower than sodium diclofenac as a standard drug. The extract of H. tuna has antioxidant and anti-arthritic activities; hence, further exploration is needed as an alternative potential in the pharmacological field.

Permendikbud Number 2 of 2022 states that the Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Operational Assistance (BOP) is an aid fund provided by the Central Pamerintah to assist in providing funding for non-personnel operational costs in supporting early childhood education learning activities. In accordance with article 12 paragraph (1) letter (e) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Number 116/PMK.07/2022 concerning the Management of Non-Physical Special Allocation Funds, the calculation of the allocation of Education BOP funds is carried out based on the number of students multiplied by the unit cost per student. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with a problem formulation that combines research to explore or photograph the situation to be thoroughly researched, broadly and in depth in the early childhood education unit in Bula sub-district, namely at Bula State Guidance Kindergarten and Gumumae Bula Kindergarten. The purpose of this study itself is to determine the Effectiveness of the Management of Education Operational Assistance Funds (BOP) in an Effort to Improve the Quality of PAUD Education in Bula District, East Seram Regency and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in the management of educational operational assistance at Bula State Guidance Kindergarten and Gumumae Bula Kindergarten. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that BOP fund planning was carried out through the preparation of school activity plans and budgets (RKAS) by involving: school principals and staff and teacher councils, school school committees and management at the education office in charge of ECCE, the realization of the BOP Fund Program at both ECCE institutions has been completed according to the target time. Performance objectives and targets in accordance with the RKAS, the implementation/use of BOP funds at TK Pembina Bula and TK Gumumae Bula have not applied the principles of transparency and accountability in the Financial statement accountability report.At TK Pembina Bula and TK Gumumae Bula in 2022.

This study aims to analyze the role of technology in facilitating the development of students' proportional reasoning skills in mathematics learning. This study used the systematic literature review method with a qualitative approach. Documents on the Scopus database were analyzed according to the research objectives using the PRISMA 2020. Thematic analysis was applied to all documents included in the search results. The results of this study indicated that there were 18 documents found that addressed the chosen topic-first in 2006, with 2015 being the most productive year discussing this topic. The technologies used to facilitate the development of proportional reasoning skills are Flash/ActionScript 3 programs-dominated, robotics, web-based learning, interactive touchscreen tablet application (MIT-Ext)-ordered by document quantity, virtual reality (VR), GeoGebra, video games, and augmented reality (AR). Quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method approaches were used in almost equal parts. Junior high school was the most researched level of this topic, but no research has been conducted at the senior high school level. The most productive country to research this topic was the Netherlands. The results of this study were expected to provide practical benefits for teachers and future research.

This research explains collaborative communication in abrasion disaster mitigation based on tourism development. It uses Communicative Planning Theory (CPT) and case studies research method. The results show that communication about abrasion disasters is carried out by the central government through collaboration across ministries, Peat and Mangrove Restoration Agency (BRGM), provincial governments, regional governments, universities and local communities. The Raja Kecik tourist destination was built as a communication channel for abrasion disaster mitigation. The community-based tourism development is a means of collaborative communication in building awareness and increasing stakeholder participation to mitigate abrasion disasters.

Background Strategies to increase body resistance and prevent disease in aquaculture include using vaccines, antibiotics, and probiotics. Today, the use of antibiotics with natural ingredients is becoming a trend. Sargassum sp is a natural ingredient that contains high antioxidants and antibiotics. Methods This research was conducted from March to May 2022 at the Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Riau, in two stages: 1) the sensitivity of extracts of Sargassum sp. and 2) the application of Sargassum sp. extract orally in tilapia (O. niloticus). The parameters measured were clear zone, minimum inhibitory concentration, LD50 test of leaf extract of Sargassum sp. in tilapia (O. niloticus), hemoglobin levels, hematocrit, total leukocytes, total erythrocytes, leukocyte differentiation, and survival rate. Data on hematology parameters were tabulated and analyzed using a One-Way ANOVA followed by a Student Newman Keuls (SNK) test when deemed necessary. Results The results showed that the extract of Sargassum sp. inhibited the growth of Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria with a clear zone of 6.5-15.0 mm, which is classified as resistant. At doses of 2000, 2500, and 3000 ppm, it did not cause death in fish for 96 hours (LD50). Hematological parameters can be a sign of the health status of fish. The ability to collaborate through the project method is one effort to stimulate learning that is done together. This research aims to improve cooperation skills through the project method in children aged 5-6 years in Ra Mathla'ul Anwar Telukambulu Karawang. In this writing, the author uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which is carried out in 2 cycles. The results show that children's cooperation through this project method can improve well. It is known that in the pre-action period, children's cooperative abilities obtained an average value of 27.5%, then continued with action cycle I, which obtained an average value of 51.3%, showing improved results but not yet reaching the target and continued in cycle II which obtained the average value of 83.7% shows very good improvement results. Researchers assess that this research has achieved success because it has exceeded the predetermined limit of 75%.

Healthy seaweed salt is low sodium salt from seaweed that offers health benefits for hypertension patients. Indonesian seaweed has the potential to produce healthy seaweed salt. Research to date still focuses on green and brown seaweed but there is still no report for red seaweed. Actinotrichia fragilis is one of red seaweed species that has been discovered in Indonesia’s seawater and has not yet been utilized. Thus, this study aimed to determine the chemical composition and antioxidant activity of A. fragilis flour and the optimum ratio for producing seaweed salt with a high yield, optimum %NaCl, Na/K ratio, and antioxidant activity. Seaweed salt production treatment was the ratio of seaweed flour and distilled water 1:3, 1:5, and 1:10 (w/v), extracted at 40°C for 10 minutes. The mixture was filtered, then dried at 60°C for 30 hours. Data analysis was performed by analysis of variance. The raw material for dried A. fragilis seaweed has a high ash and low-lipid content. Then the ethanol extract had a total phenolic content value of 84.34 mg GAE/g and an antioxidant activity value of 98.22 mg/L. Furthermore, the antioxidant capacity of the ethanol extract was 60.15 mmol ascorbic acid/g and 552.21 mmol Fe2+/g. The best treatment for producing A. fragilis salt is 1:10 with yield of 12.76±0.13%, %NaCl 47.22±1.38%, Na/K ratio 3.32±0.18, IC50 with DPPH and ABTS method 113 mg/L and 87.27 mg/L, total antioxidant capacity 38.21 mg/mL ascorbic acid/g, and 304.32 mmol Fe2+/g. Furthermore, A. fragilis can be used for the production of healthy seaweed salt.

Indonesian shortfin eel (Anguilla bicolor bicolor) is a high economic value fish and a high nutritional content. However, their utilization can be limited because of hypersensitivity cases in individuals allergic to fish. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of the fish major allergenic protein, parvalbumin in different parts of the eel fillet and the effects of boiling technique on the content of this protein. The samples were boiled with 100 mL of water in an Erlenmeyer flask at 95°C for 10 min. The eel fillet was divided into three parts: the front, middle, and rear part of the body. Protein profiles from each part were identified using sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and Bradford assays. Parvalbumin was further purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation. The concentration of protein in the different parts of the eel was not significantly different, whereas the processing treatments (meat with water (F1 extract) and meat without water (F2 extract)) affected protein concentration. Eel meat contained proteins with molecular weights ranging from 10 to 186 kDa. Parvalbumins are highly water-soluble, as their content was reduced in the fillet, but were observed at a high concentration in the water after boiling. Parvalbumins of eel were purified by ammonium sulfate 70-90% with high purity. Interestingly, two different bands were observed in SDS-PAGE, suggesting the presence of a protein variant. The molecular weight of parvalbumin obtained from purification ranged from 10 to 11 kDa, similar to that of other fish.

Global Youth Tobacco Survey (GYTS), Indonesia showed that 60,9 % of students noticed cigarette advertisements or promotions in outdoor media. Our study aimed to understand the impact of outdoor tobacco advertising and peer and family association with Youth's smoking behavior.This study deployed a cross-sectional approach to explore factors related to youth smoking behavior, such as peers, family, and tobacco advertising. The GYTS questionnaire was adapted as the instrument and distributed to 400 students from 20 high schools to observe smoking behavior. The chosen schools based on the previous study whose classify school in hot-spot and non hot-spot area. This study applied a data mining approach with a decision tree to generate the models.This study generates a decision tree model that describes the peer factor as the key to introducing Youth to smoking. The model also reveals that youth in the non-hotspot advertising area are not likely to develop Youth to smoke. The model has a performance classification of 77.5 % This study found that youth with smoking fathers are more likely to start smoking earlier, youth whose both parents are smokers, and mothers who are smokers have a confidence level of 100 % to smoke. Further research is warranted to investigate rural districts to explore any regional and socioeconomic variations.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Prosecutorial Intelligence's authority in investigating alleged corruption at the Tidore Kepulauan District Attorney's Office and to identify the challenges encountered during the investigation process. The methodology employed is empirical legal research with a qualitative field approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the Prosecutorial Intelligence's authority at the Tidore Kepulauan District Attorney's Office aligns with the applicable regulations, including Article 30B paragraph (d) of Law No. 11 of 2021 on the Amendment of Law No. 16 of 2004 on the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia and Presidential Regulation No. 38 of 2010 on the Organization and Working Procedures of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia. Nonetheless, several significant challenges were identified in the investigation process, including budget constraints, insufficient education and training for staff, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. This study provides recommendations to address these challenges, including increasing budget allocations, conducting regular training for Prosecutorial Intelligence staff, and providing adequate supporting facilities to enhance the effectiveness of corruption investigations.

The main factual error made by students in solving trapezium problems is the misunderstanding of concepts and principles. Trapezium concepts and principles presented with visual representations may reduce complexity and abstractness compared with relying solely on verbal representations. This study aimed at developing a multimedia trapezium with a visual thinking approach for 7th grade students. This research was development research with 4D design (define, design, develop disseminate). In this first year, research is focused on determining media feasibility based on expert validation, practicality trials, and effectiveness. The subjects involved were material experts, media experts and ten students. Data were collected using validation sheets, questionnaires as well as tests, and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the data analysis showed that the level of feasibility in terms of material experts and media experts were 92% and 88% respectively with the Very Valid category. The practicality and effectiveness test results were 83.7% and 78% in the practical and effective category. Because the media met the valid, practical, and effective criteria, it can be said that the media is suitable to be applied in trapezoidal learning in 7th grade. The implication of implementing visual thinking approach in developing multimedia will be able to enhance students’ achievement.

This study aimed at testing the influence of organizational culture, transformational leadership, and personality on organizational commitment, with job satisfaction as the intervening variable. This study employed a quantitative method with path analysis technique and SITOREM (Scientific Identification Theory to Conduct Operation Research in Education Management) analysis. The study was carried out in a Private Madrasah Aliyah, East Jakarta, with hundred and forty (140) full-time teachers of the institution as the samples. Data were collected through questionnaires. The result of the study shows that there is a positive and significant direct influence of organizational culture on organizational commitment; transformational leadership on organizational commitment; personality on organizational commitment; job satisfaction on organizational commitment; organizational culture on job satisfaction; transformational leadership on job satisfaction and personality on job satisfaction. On the other hand, the study revealed that organizational culture does not significantly influence organizational commitment through job satisfaction; transformational leadership does not significantly influence organizational commitment through job satisfaction; and personality does not significantly influence organizational commitment through job satisfaction. From the result of the SITOREM analysis, seven (7) indicators of priority that requires handling were obtained. This study recommends that the institutions should improve their policies so that the level of teachers’ commitment is increased.

The COVID-19 pandemic carried an impact on the world of education. As a policy, an online learning system is carried out, where digital literacy has an important role. Digital literacy skills for a teacher are being able to present interesting learning media. Learning media which is the best alternative is interactive multimedia, which can increase students' learning motivation. Teaching and learning activities in SMP Aswaja are dominated by the conventional method. It is still dominated by lectures and has not used varied learning media, especially the use of digital learning media. To improve the teachers’ understanding and skills in this regard, workshops and training activities for Aswaja Junior High School teachers were carried out which were attended by 27 teachers. The training activities were divided into pre-test, digital literacy and digital learning media materials, training for making digital learning media, and post-test. The average value of the pre-test is 73.33, while the average value of the post-test is 86.3. Paired Sample T-Test analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. Thus the training activities were able to improve understanding and skills in making digital learning media for teachers of SMP Aswaja Kunir Wonodadi.

Indonesia has thousands of islands. However, many islands are threatened with sinking due to rising sea levels and abrasion. This research aims to explain environmental communication based on tourism management to mitigate abrasion on Bengkalis Island. The research method used was a qualitative approach with case studies. The results show that the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment together with other ministries, regional governments and experts collaborated to communicate to overcome the abrasion problem on Bengkalis Island. To mitigate abrasion, the government is building breakwaters, rehabilitating mangroves, and creating communication programs. The government’s environmental communications involve the NGO Malay Youth Association that Cares for the Environment (IPMPL) to deal with abrasion, as was done at Raja Kecik Beach. This community-based tourism was built as a means of government communication to campaign for the protection of the coast of Bengkalis Island. The development of marine tourism that is integrated with the prevention of environmental damage not only contributes to the economy and community welfare but also contributes to environmental sustainability. Communication based on tourism management has not been managed well. Therefore, the government must involve other stakeholders for sustainable development in the context of mitigating abrasion disasters.

The current increasing topic around empirical study is environmental issues. Several previous studies examined how open innovation strategies could affect eco-innovation amid research debates about environmental conservation in corporate innovation. This study aims to prove the effect of open innovation strategies on creating eco-innovation to affect SMEs’ sustainable competitive advantage and performance empirically. This study developed and empirically tested the mediating role of eco-innovation on sustainable competitive advantage and performance. A quantitative approach in testing the empirical research model was implemented. A total of 223 SMEs in the batik sector in Yogyakarta were examined. We used purposive sampling approach to select the research sample. The criteria used in the sampling is SMEs batik which has been operating for three years or more. The results revealed that open innovation strategies significantly positively affected eco-innovation while eco-innovation significantly positively affected competitive advantage and SMEs performance. Environmental uncertainty strengthened the eco-innovation relationship on competitive advantage, but not on the SMEs’ performance.

Sharks are predator species that play an important role in marine ecosystems and have high economic value. Exploiting shark parts, including fins, scales, teeth, cartilage, skin, liver, meat, and tails, is difficult to identify visually, necessitating molecular identification to determine traded shark products. This study aimed to design species-specific primers based on mitochondrial gene markers for shark species Isurus spp. and Lamna nasus, and their application in real-time PCR-based fisheries product authentication. The research was conducted in silico for specific primer design and in vitro for DNA sample isolation, DNA quantity and quality testing, DNA amplification, and real-time PCR analysis. The primer pairs of species included in the CITES II list with different genetic markers have been successfully created. The primers used were able to amplify DNA and showed a Ct difference between the target and non-target DNA, proving their ability to identify the target shark species.

Healthy salt can be produced from seaweed. Green seaweed Ulva lactuca and Chaetomorpha sp. have the potential to be used as low-sodium salt. The objective of this study was to determine the influence of green seaweed U. lactuca and Chaetomorpha sp. on the characteristics of seaweed salt based on %NaCl, Na/K ratio, and antioxidant activity. Seaweed salt was produced by soaking seaweed flour in distilled water (1:10), extracted at 40°C for 10 minutes, dried with dehydrator at 60°C for 48 hours, and the crystallized samples were ground into a seaweed salt. U. lactuca seaweed salt with yield of 23.67%, Na/K ratio of 1.74, %NaCl of 57.36%, total phenolic content of 466.13 mg GAE/g sample, IC50 value (ABTS) of 147.54 µg/mL, and antioxidant capacity (CUPRAC) of 40.04 μmol ascorbic acid/g seaweed salt. Chaetomorpha sp. salt with yield of 17.33%, Na/K ratio of 1.63, %NaCl of 61.45%, total phenolic content of 677.78 mg GAE/g sample, IC50 value of 95.40 µg/mL, and antioxidant capacity of 59.20 μmol ascorbic acid/g seaweed salt. U. lactuca has low %NaCl and moderate antioxidant activity. Chaetomorpha sp. has high %NaCl but strong antioxidant activity.

Snack bars, known for their convenience and easy consumption, amalgamate various ingredients such as cereals, fruits, and nuts. Their portable and on-the-go nature makes them a favored choice for individuals engaged in various activities. The integration of natural additives, such as Spirulina platensis, to elevate the nutritional profile of snack bars represents a novel and ambitious initiative. This study delves into the innovative realm of edible coating for spirulina snack bars using maltodextrin and gelatin. The investigation explores the correlation between total phenol content and antioxidant activity through the FRAP method, employing two solvents, methanol, and n-hexane. Results demonstrate that varying concentrations of edible coating significantly enhance the appearance and texture of Spirulina Snack Bars (SSB). Notably, the SSB coated with 6% maltodextrin and 1% gelatin exhibits superior visual appeal and a firmer texture compared to its counterpart coated with 3% maltodextrin and 1% gelatin. Moreover, the n-hexane extract showcases higher antioxidant activity (19.971 mg/g) than the methanol extract (16.400 mg/g). This study underscores the effectiveness of n-hexane-based edible coatings in elevating the antioxidant potential and total phenol content of spirulina snack bars, offering essential insights for the development of functional foods with enhanced nutrition and prolonged shelf life.

Cirebon Regency is in West Java Province and it’s one of the largest rice producer in Indonesia so that Cirebon Regency has a rice surplus. West Java is included as a region with access rice availability and the source of rice comes from within the West Java region itself, so there is minimal intervention from other regions in terms of meeting rice needs. In an effort to maintain rice resilience, strategies that can be implemented by West Java Province include maximizing the availability of rice in the region to meet local needs, distributing part of its production to surrounding deficit areas, and maintaining the productivity of rice fields. The results of the review literature, food security were not realized in Cirebon Regency because exports and imports of rice production were not properly recorded, distribution of rice production was not monitored, supply stability and price affordability were not controlled, access and information to markets are limited.. The regional government is implementing an agricultural intensification policy, especially in cultivating rice considering that the amount of agricultural land is decreasing, but behind the success there is the potential for climate change which could cause a decrease in productivity. In order to support sustainable food security in Cirebon Regency, it is necessary to analyzed the availability and distribution patterns of rice from upstream to downstream. This pattern is expected to answer the uncertainty of rice availability in Cirebon Regency and its relationship in supporting food sustainability in the future. The method that will be used to answer this problem is to carry out primary data analysis at the rice mill level in Cirebon Regency. Apart from that, the rate of land conversion as a factor influencing rice production is used as analysis material for recommendations for the sustainability of food availability in Cirebon Regency. Food security and sustainability efforts can be achieved with policy changes and transformation of food system governance.

Spirulina, renowned for its impressive protein content of 55-70% of dry weight, surpasses commonly used plant sources like soybeans, peanuts, or cereals. However, Spirulina snack bars, with their inherent texture, may face challenges like moisture absorption and microbial growth. In this context, edible coatings emerge as a solution to prevent moisture ingress, microbial growth, and preserve the bars. This study delves into analyzing the protein content of edible coatings, specifically maltodextrin with a 6% concentration and 1% gelatin, aiming to assess their efficacy in safeguarding against ambient moisture and oxygen. The findings reveal that the snack bar with the specified coating concentration showcases enhanced visual appeal and a denser texture. Protein analysis using SDS PAGE identifies bands with molecular weights of 17kDa, 25kDa, and 35kDa, likely corresponding to αs-CN and β-CN proteins. Chromatogram analysis of the Spirulina snack bar using the HPX-87H column unveils a peak at 6.195 minutes in the methanol extract, indicating abundance in α-tocopherol, a vitamin E variant. This comprehensive exploration underscores the potential of edible coatings, providing insights into their role in preserving Spirulina snack bars and contributing to food industry advancements.

Starch-based bio-foam material, as an alternative to styrofoam, has shortcomings in mechanical properties and water resistance, so it needs a filler in the form of cellulose fibre, which is insoluble in water and has strong properties. It has been studied that nanoscale fibres have an excellent mechanical property. This study aims to determine the effect of adding cellulose fibre and cellulose nanofiber (CNF) from bagasse on the characteristics of biofoam made of avocado seed starch. The manufacture of biofoam is conducted over the thermopressing method. The added cellulose fibres varied from 0%, 1%, 3%, and 5% w/w, and cellulose nanofibers ranged from 3%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% w/w by weight of starch The results of testing biofoam from two different types of fillers showed that adding 5% of both fillers produced biofoam with the most excellent properties. Biofoam with 5% cellulose fibres from bagasse has a tensile strength value of 382.32 KPa, a water absorption capacity of 11.08%, and can degrade 10.94% in a specified time of 8 days. Adding 5% CNF from bagasse produced biofoam with a tensile strength of 385.02 Kpa, water absorption of 5.96%, and biodegradability value of 17.74% within eight days. It can be summarised that nanoscale fibres can increase the water resistance, mechanical properties, and biodegradability value of biofoam made with avocado seed starch.

E-comic learning media is an important component in providing deficiencies in the Al-Islam learning process in the classroom, this media can also help students to encourage student learning motivation, clarify and simplify abstract concepts and enhance absorption. E-comic media is one of the intermediaries that can attract students' interest in reading a material because it is presented in the form of images accompanied by short text. By utilizing this e-comic, it is hoped that Islamic education learning will focus on the character values of Muhammadiyah. The purpose of this study was to find out how the development and response of students to e-comic material for the short biography of K.H Ahmad Dahlan as strengthening the value of Muhammadiyah character and regeneration. This research uses research and development methods or Research and Development (RD) with development procedures in this RD research using the Four-D Model (4D) design, namely: (1) Define (defining); (2) Design (design); Develop (development); and (4) Disseminate (spread). Data collection in this study was carried out in two ways, namely test and non-test. The test was carried out with Pretest and Posttest. While the non-test is by observation, distributing questionnaires, and documentation. Then the data were analyzed through qualitative and quantitative methods. Through this stage, the results of the research product in the form of e-comic learning media as strengthening character values are that: (1) The feasibility of e-comic learning media products, the average assessment at the validation stage by a team of media experts is 90%; (2) The feasibility of e-comic learning media products on average at the validation stage by the material 1 expert team was obtained at 98%, while the material 2 expert team obtained 96%; (3) Design development is used according to the 4D flow; (4) The results of the feasibility of small-scale trials are 95% while large-scale trials are 98%..

This study aims to determine the parenting applied by parents in shaping the disciplined character of children aged 5-6 years during the covid-19 pandemic on Jalan Kebun Indah RT 05 RW 01 Kel. Sukarami district. As wide as Bengkulu City. This type of research is field qualitative and descriptive. This study uses data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained through this method is used to facilitate data analysis, then interpreted by means of inductive thinking, namely based on special knowledge then a general solution is taken, so as to produce conclusions that can be accounted for. The results showed that the parenting applied by parents in shaping the disciplined character of children aged 5-6 years during the covid-19 pandemic on Jalan Kebun Indah RT 05 RW 01 Kel. The desire to leave the company or called turnover intention will interfere with organizational performance in realizing the company's goals to win business competition. Turnover intention is likened to a disease that is difficult to cure by a company so that it becomes a challenge for companies to try to retain experienced employees. It is important for leaders to create an organizational climate and employee job satisfaction so that it can be a strategy for maintaining employee presence in the company. This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational climate and job satisfaction on the desire to leave the company. The population or research object is one of the dealer companies that are experienced in the city of Pekanbaru, namely Truck Car Dealers. Data collection using a questionnaire, and data analysis using SmartPLS 2.0 analysis. The results showed that the coefficient of determination (R2) for the variable willingness to leave was 0.589. This means that the output desire construct variable can be explained by the variability of organizational climate and job satisfaction of 58.90% while the remaining 41.10% is explained by other variables outside the research model. It is proven that there is a significant influence of organizational climate on the desire to leave the company and job satisfaction on the desire to leave the company. Recommendations that it is important for company leaders to improve the quality of the organizational climate by providing better work facilities and employee job satisfaction through increasing the provision of more attractive incentives or bonuses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah iklim organisasi dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keinginan keluar karyawan, dan menentukan apakah iklim organisasi dan kepuasan kerja efektif sebagai strategi mempertahankan karyawan pada Perusahaan Dealer Mobil di Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian eksplanatori, dan menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang terdiri dari 32 pertanyaan; Sampel terdiri dari 100 responden karyawan dari populasi sebesar 118 karyawan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive smpling. Data yang dikumpulkan dari kuesioner menggunakan pengukuran skala likert dan pengolahan data menggunakan statistik regresi liner berganda melalui SPSS versi 22.0. Temuan hasil penelitian: 1) iklim organisasi dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap keinginan karyawan keluar dari perusahaan; 2)Ikllim organisasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap keinginan karyawan keluar dari perusahaan; 3)kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keinginan karyawan keluar perusahaan. Implikasi hasil penelitian, iklim organisasi dan kepuasan kerja sebagai strategi mempertahankan karyawan sudah tepat secara kolaborasi, tapi tidak efektif sebagai strategi tunggal.

Indonesia is the 7th largest country in the world with a very strategic location between the continents of Asia and the continents of Australia and the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. This condition provides an advantage as well as a vulnerability to the sovereignty of the Indonesian state. This has an impact on the task of the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) in maintaining state sovereignty and enforcing the law in Indonesia's jurisdictional seas. In carrying out this task, the Indonesian Navy is experiencing obstacles because the vast field of work and potential threats to state sovereignty that exist today are not comparable to the conditions of the Main Weapon System Equipment (Alutsista) owned, so it is necessary to develop a Navy Base that can function as a carrier for strong national defense. Writing this article aims to determine the right strategy by analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the Indonesian Navy in the face of existing opportunities and threats. From this analysis, a strategy can be determined to develop the Indonesian Navy Base as an aircraft carrier. Of the four strategies produced, the best strategy to implement is to develop the Indonesian Navy Base as an aircraft carrier with the support of the central government and local governments as well as high-ranking of Indonesian armed force/Indonesian Navy officials to realize state defense policies and the mandate of the law to improve national defense to maintain national security, territory and sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia.

Histamine-producing bacteria to predict histamine level production can be identified by a molecular approach. The purpose of this study was to identify the types of histamine-producing bacteria on tuna, little tuna, and skipjack (TTC) meat, to analyze its bioinformatics through phylogenetic tree construction also to determine the levels of its histamine. The identification of histamine-producing bacteria was conducted using a molecular technique based on the hdc and 16S rRNA genes. Histamine levels were measured by a spectrofluorometer. The results showed types of histamine-producing bacteria had been successfully identified, both using specific hdc and 16S rRNA universal primers, including Morganella morganii, Enterobacter hormaechei, Klebsiella aerogenes, and Enterobacter bugandensis. The phylogenetic tree showed that the bacteria M. morganii and E. hormaechei were closely related to one cluster. Meanwhile, the other close relative cluster were Klebsiella aerogenes, Enterobacter bugandensis, and Escherichia fergusonii. In addition, histamine levels of frozen tuna, little tuna, and skipjack were 2.96±0.22 ppm, 2.14±0.23 ppm, and 1.02±0.97 ppm, respectively.

This study aims to produce a description of students' didactical obstacles in solving geometric problems based on their spatial perception ability. Didactical obstacles were obtained through the results of the analysis of the students' spatial perception obtained ability from the test of geometric instruments associated with the spatial perception ability. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The participants of this study were junior high school students and mathematics teachers. The analysis of the students' spatial perception ability was obtained based on the results of instrument tests, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results of this study showed that most students experienced didactical obstacles in solving geometric problems based on their spatial perception ability. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan gambaran dari hambatan didaktis siswa dalam penyelesaian masalah geometri berdasarkan kemampuan persepsi ruang. Hambatan didaktis diperoleh melalui hasil analisis dari kemampuan persepsi ruang siswa yang diperoleh dari uji instrumen geometri yang dikaitkan dengan kemampuan persepsi ruang. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP dan guru matematika. Analisis kemampuan persepsi ruang siswa diperoleh berdasarkan hasil uji instrumen, wawancara yang mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebagian besar siswa mengalami hambatan didaktis dalam menyelesaikan masalah geometri berdasarkan kemampuan persepsi ruang.

Damage to mangrove forests and abrasion are the main problems on the coast of the Bengkalis Regency. Conservation of mangrove forests by making community-based ecotourism is the best solution to this problem. This paper aims to explain the environmental communication model in the development of mangrove ecotourism. This research used a qualitative method with case studies. The results showed that environmental communication is an essential component in the successful development of mangrove ecotourism. Environmental communication planning had at least four stages, namely problem analysis, audience analysis, and goal setting; selection of communication channel and media; message development and media production; and implementation accompanied by evaluation.The model of environmental communication in the development of mangrove ecotourism in Bengkalis Regency was carried out by empowering community groups based on deliberation and mutual cooperation. Environmental communication must be integrated and managed creatively by using various communication methods and channels.

Cobia (Rachycentron canadum) is economically important fish with good prospects because of fast growing and easily cultured. Cobia is usually processed by many methods including steaming. The purposes of this research were to determine the effect of steaming process on proximate and amino acids composition. The chemical composition of fresh and steamed cobia’s meat were determined by proximate analysis. Amino acid compositions of fresh and steamed cobia’s meat were measured using HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography). Steaming process reduced 11.31% of water, 1.06% of ash, 26.04% of fat, and 9.11% of protein. Fresh and steamed cobia’s meat contained 17 amino acids consisting of 9 essential amino acids and 8 nonessential amino acids. The highest essential amino acid in fresh cobia’s meat was arginine (2,262 mg/100 g) and the highest nonessential amino acid was glutamic acid (3,894 mg/100 g). Steaming process reduced amino acids generally. The highest essential amino acid in steamed cobia’s meat was leucine (1,379 mg/100 g) and the highest nonessential amino acid was glutamic acid (2,370 mg/100 g). Taurine content of fresh cobia’s meat was 120.84 mg/100 g and changed into 94.33 mg/100 g after steaming process.

The use of hands-on activity-based mathematics learning media for mentally retarded children and cerebral palsy is largely unexplored. Meanwhile, observations of children with special needs (mental retardation and cerebral palsy) at school have not shown good basic math skills, such as counting, recognizing numbers, recognizing letters, performing math operations (for example, addition and subtraction). This study aims to develop a hands-on activity-based learning media model for mentally retarded children and cerebral palsy to improve understanding of mathematics in reading, writing, and arithmetic subjects. The method used is Research and Development, where the subject is the Special School in Bandung, Indonesia. The instruments used in this study were documentation, classroom observation, interviews, and tests of mathematical comprehension abilities. The results showed that a hands-on activity-based learning model could be used to improve basic math skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic for children with mental retardation and cerebral palsy.

The activity was carried out in Teluk Pambang Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency. This activity is due to the local community's lack of awareness of the importance of managing and utilizing mangrove ecosystems that have ecological, social, and economic functions. The purpose of this activity is to provide a comprehensive understanding to the community about the importance of mangrove forest management and utilization to maintain environmental balance in coastal areas, the prospect of economically valuable mangrove ecotourism, providing knowledge of the importance of local wisdom values as a support for the attractiveness of mangrove ecotourism development, and the importance of forming a tourism awareness group as a form of active community contribution in utilizing the potential of sustainable community-based ecotourism. This activity's target is the community living in Teluk Pambang Village, especially the Mangrove Management Group and the Local Government. The implementation method starts with the survey and implementation in the field. This activity involved 12 Riau University students from various disciplines. The results obtained from this activity are the active participation of the community to participate in identifying potentials and ideas for developing Mangrove ecotourism and establishing partnerships with the Village Government and mangrove management groups in the context of community empowerment through the management and utilization of mangrove ecosystems as ecotourism based on local wisdom and creative economy in Teluk Pambang Village.

Caulerpa sp. commonly found in Tual, Southeast Maluku waters. Caulerpa sp. is generally consumed by coastal communities in it is raw form as salads or boiled. Nutrient information and total phenol compounds of Caulerpa sp. during boiling has not been reported. The aim of this study is to determine bioactive components and the levels of total phenol compounds Caulerpa sp. as a result of the boiling process. The boiling process is carried out for 5 minutes at 90 . Boiling process causes loss of flavonoids in Caulerpa sp. Total phenol compounds after boiling decreased by 11.76 mg GAE/g extract. Total phenolic of fresh Caulerpa sp. has better results than by boiling process.

This study aims to explain the corporate communication of state oil companies through CSR in contributing to overcoming the problems of peatland fires and coastal abrasion. This research uses a qualitative approach with case studies. Research findings indicate that Pertamina’s CSR communication targets farmer groups in dealing with peatland fires, namely establishing good relations, strengthening farmer group institutions, and connecting with other stakeholders or groups. Meanwhile, to overcome coastal abrasion, Pertamina empowers fishing groups in meetings, provides training and develops innovations to conserve mangroves. CSR communication to overcome the problem of forest fires and abrasion is carried out by developing ecotourism through community-based tourism (CBT). CSR activities are carried out with a limited area scale, so that it seems only for publication and corporate imagery. However, the company’s communication with CBT can be an effective communication model in making people aware of protecting the environment. The Peat Arboretum and Mangrove Education Center are not only tourist destinations, but also a medium of communication for environmental education for the community. Environmental communication is not only directed to the local community, school students, and youth, but also to visitors, for media coverage and discussions on social media. Corporate environmental communications must be integrated with communication channels and stakeholders to support sustainable environmental development.

Employment is one of the important factors in national development. This study aims to analyze the employment conditions of North Kalimantan Province, from the workforce to the unemployment rate. The average LFPR (Labour Force Participation Rate) in North Kalimantan Province in 2020 is 66.51. Especially in the district which has many coal and mineral industries, the initial LFPR was 75.04 in Malinau Regency. Kalimantan Province's EPR based on age group shows that in 2018, 2019, and 2020 there are not too many differences in EPR (Employment to Population Ratio) levels. The lowest EPR is always in the 15-19 age group with an EPR of 22.94%; 17.95%; and 24.73%. Tarakan City has a higher TPT (Open Unemployment Rate) value than other districts, even compared to North Kalimantan Province with 5.89%, 5.3%, 5.86%, and 4.14%. North Kalimantan experienced a decrease in the underemployment rate of 0.37% in 2018—2019. Then in 2020, all districts/cities in North Kalimantan experienced an increase in the underemployment rate.

The study aims to analyze the role of e-mentoring in developing leadership skills between mentors and mentees, particularly in global environment. This research is using qualitative approach that work on a comprehensive literature development on e-mentoring platform for future leaders. The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the labour market, making it difficult for young people to secure productive employment. They often lack experience, talents, and social networks, making it difficult to find suitable candidates. Informational asymmetry and limited access to resources further exacerbate these employment obstacles. A significant proportion of youth are not employed, in school, or training, resulting in diminished employment prospects and challenges in adapting to the workplace. The result shown that e-mentoring offers numerous advantages, including accessibility, professional development, and enhanced communication skills. It allows mentees to ask questions anytime, anywhere, and can be used for professional growth. E-mentoring also improves teamwork and accessibility, allowing for diverse collaboration and breaking down sociocultural barriers. However, it also presents challenges, such as ensuring proper communication and addressing cultural differences. Overall, e-mentoring offers a more accessible and effective mentoring system.

Seaweed belongs to marine biota and contains nutrients and secondary metabolites beneficial for health. This study aimed to determine the antidiabetic activity of extracts and fractions of green seaweed Halimeda tuna. The H. tuna sample was extracted with the maceration method using methanol and then partitioned using ethyl acetate and water to obtain ethyl acetate and water fractions. The methanol extract, ethyl acetate fraction, and water fraction of H. tuna were tested for their inhibitory activity against α-amilase and α-glucosidase. The methanol extract and the fractions with the highest inhibitory activity were phytochemically tested and analyzed using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The results showed that the ethyl acetate fraction (IC50 = 0.88 ± 0.20 mg/mL) inhibited α-amylase relatively similar to acarbose (IC50 = 0.76 ± 0.04 mg/mL). The methanol extract (IC50 = 0.05 ± 0.01 mg/mL) and the ethyl acetate fraction (IC50 = 0.01 ± 0.00 mg/mL) demonstrated stronger inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase than acarbose (IC50 = 0.27 ± 0.13 mg/mL). Phytochemical testing showed that the methanol extract and the ethyl acetate fraction contained secondary metabolites: alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, and phenol hydroquinone. The compounds in methanol extract predicted to have inhibitory activity against α-amylase and α-glucosidase were Docosanol, Neophytadiene, Stigmasta-7,22-dien-3-ol,acetate,(3.beta.,5.alpha.,22E), Octadecanoic acid,2-oxo-,methyl ester, and phytol, while those in the ethyl acetate fraction were n-Nonadecane, Phytol, Butyl ester, 14-.Beta.-H-pregna, Octadecenoic acid, and Oleic acid.

The learning outcomes of the Social Sciences study at the Elementary School level in Indonesia in general have not shown maximum results, this is because the social studies field includes subjects that are less attractive to students. This research was conducted on class VI students of the State Ibtidaiyah Madrasah in Ciputat, with a total of 60 students. This study uses treatment by level 2 x 2. The data analysis technique is the analysis of two-way variance (ANAVA). The results of the study showed that: (1) Student learning outcomes in social studies subjects taught using PBL learning method were higher than students taught using conventional method, (2) for students who have high logical thinking skills, the learning outcomes of students taught using the Problem Based Learning method are higher than those taught using conventional method, (3) for students who have low logical thinking skills, student learning outcomes are taught using the PBL method lower than students taught using conventional method.(4) there was an interaction effect between PBL learning method and logical thinking skills.

In Indonesia, cardiovascular disease (CVD) ranks ninth among 22 types of diseases that result in death. Patients with history of CVD may experience various physical and emotional symptoms such as fatigue, edema, and sleeping difficulties that limit their physical and social activities which will in turn result in poor quality of life. Hospitalization and mortality has been associated with poor quality of life therefore people with history of CVD should be assessed appropriately to determine its impact on patients’ daily lives. This study aimed to examine the quality of life in older people with history of heart diseases. This study was conducted in an outpatient department of a private hospital in Tangerang, Banten Province, Indonesia. This quantitative, descriptive study involved 397 older patients. Data were collected via purposive sampling. Older patients with a history of CVD (cardiovascular diseases), aged 60–74 years, who could communicate and understand the Indonesian language and were not in a state that hindered completing a questionnaire were included in the study. Quality of life was measured using the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire, which comprises four domains: physical health, psychological aspects, social relationships, and environment. Data were analyzed using a descriptive analysis. The results showed that 94% of respondents with a history of CVD had a good quality of life, with 85% having an adequate environmental aspect, 60.7% having active social relationships, 54.7% having good physical health, and 44.8% having a stable psychological condition. Despite having a history of CVD, most respondents in this study reported a good quality of life. However, the measurement tool used in this study measured quality of life in general. Future research should consider using a tool that is specific for measuring the quality of life of people with cardiac diseases.

Gillnets are the fishing gear selected by Kendal fishermen particularly in small-scale artisanal fisheries because gillnets need relatively small capital, have easy operation, use medium- or small-sized fishing vessels, and are selective towards catches. Modifications were made by increasing the performance of the fishermen gillnet to get more economical fish catches. This study aims to technically analyze the modified gillnet on the catch composition. The study was conducted in Kendal waters in April 2019 with a 1 GT vessel using a comparative design with experimental fishing. The modified gillnet was a net made from PA multi-monofilament of 0.20 x 10 ply with 4-inch mesh size with the specifications of the mounted length of netting of 50 meters and the mounted height of netting of 5.9 m for one net with a hanging ratio of 0.55. Based on the paired sample t-test results, tcount value = 7.690 is greater than ttable (0.05) = 1.796. H0 is rejected and H1 which states that there is a difference in the number and weight of fish caught by the fishermen gillnet and the modified gillnet is accepted. Dominant species caught by the modified gillnet were Euthynnus affinis which were mostly allowable to catch both caught by the fishermen gillnet (51%) and the modified gillnet (95%) and Scromberomorus commersoni which were mostly not allowable to catch both caught by the fishermen gillnet (89%) and the modified gillnet (64%).

This study has purpose to find out the effect of work placement towards the work environment. Due to the hypothesis of the research, the right placement and position are able to help the company to achieve the goals. Afterward, the methods used are associative method and descriptive method. The indicator of work placement that is used in this study is synthesis of determining work location, determining work position, and assigning. The number of populations involving in this study is 268 and sample is 160 respondents. Then, the result of the study shows that the work placement based on Grand Indonesia Industry Company employees’ responds in determining work location, work position and assignment indicators are 3896 which is categorized as good enough. Furthermore, the work environment in Grand Indonesia Industry Company based on Grand Indonesia Industry Company employees’ responds on facilities and work implementation are 4034 which is categorized as very good. However, the analysis result of work placement correlation towards the work environment is rX1. Y-0,22 included as low category. Originality and value of the research defined by the obtained results and discussion, according to which, it is supposed to increase the work placement for employees especially in assignments, determining the work position of employees so that employees are always passionate to work. It is also recommended to improve the work environment, especially in the implementation of work, work infrastructure so that employee performance can increase. Practical and social implications of the research are added by the suggestion to improve the work environment, especially in the implementation of work, work infrastructure so that employee performance can increase.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn pada materi Integrasi Nasional dalam Bingkai Bhinneka Tunggal Ika di kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Samigaluh Kulonprogo melalui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Samigaluh Kulonprogo. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa metode discovery learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Samigaluh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pra siklus 71,6 dengan presentase ketuntasan sebesar 22,2%. Nilai rata-rata tes siklus I yaitu 76,3 dengan presentase ketuntasan sebesar 50% dan nilai rata-rata tes siklus II yaitu 85,6 dengan presentase ketuntasan sebesar 100%.

Majelis Ta'lim is a means of developing Islamic Da'wah using lecture methods and ending with questions and answers. In general, Majelis Ta'lim is a purely non-governmental organization, which is born, managed, maintained, developed, and supported by its members. The teaching carried out in Majelis Ta'lim leads to the teaching of Tauhid, sharia, and Sufism. Related to this, the study aims to know the presence of Majelis Ta'lim in the community, how the participation of the participants in the activity of Majelis Ta'lim and what the impact for the society. In completing this research, the authors used a qualitative descriptive approach with the research location in Kaway District XVI West Aceh Regency. Data obtained from Tengku Pesantren, guide Zikr and Zikr participant. The results of the study found that the Majelis Taklim and Tawajuh affect the increasing number of worshippers present. People who participated in Majelis Ta'lim and Tawajuh had many changes in morality, the occurrence of good relations with our fellow communities and can avoid the 'ghibah'. The influence of the Majelis Ta'lim and Tawajuh has also formed a society that the individual Shaleh also social Shaleh. The community of Kaway XVI Sub-district is very large participation in following the activities of the Assembly Taklim and Tawajuh, although the mileage of gampong organizing the activities of the Majelis Ta'lim and Tawajuh is very far. Even people willingly bring food to give to other pilgrims. Abstrak: Majelis taklim merupakan sarana pengembangan dakwah Islam dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan diakhiri dengan tanya jawab. Pada umumnya majelis ta’lim adalah lembaga swadaya masyarakat murni, yang dilahirkan, dikelola, dipelihara, dikembangkan, dan didukung oleh anggotanya. Pengajaran yang dilakukan dalam majelis taklim mengarah pada pengajaran tauhid, syariat dan tasawuf. Terkait hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaiamana pengaruh hadirnya majelis ta;lim dalam masayarakat, bagaimana bentuk partisipasi masayarakat terhadap kegiatan majelis ta;lim serta apa dampaknya bagi masyarakat tersebut. Dalam menyelesaikan penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan lokasi penelitian di Kecamatan Kaway XVI Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Data diperoleh dari Tengku pesantren, pemandu zikir serta jamaah zikir. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Majelis taklim dan tawajuh telah berpengaruh terhadap meningkatnya jumlah jamaah yang hadir. Masyarakat yang mengikuti majelis taklim dan tawajuh banyak mengalami perubahan akhlak ,terjadinya hubungan baik dengan sesama masyarakat dan dapat menghindari ghibah. Pengaruh majelis taklim dan tawajuh juga telah membentuk masyarakat yang shaleh secara individu juga shaleh secara sosial. Masyarakat kecamatan Kaway XVI sangat besar partisipasi dalam mengikuti kegiatan majelis taklim dan tawajuh, meskipun jarak tempuh dari gampong penyelenggara kegiatan majelis taklim dan tawajuh jaraknya sangat jauh. Bahkan masyarakat dengan suka rela membawa makanan untuk disedakahkan kepada jamaah-jamaah lainnya.

Modernization fishery tools facilitated by government support is assumed to help improving fishermen incomes. However, on reality the introduction of the more advanced tools has also posed challenges to the traditional fishermen. Modernization of fishery technology can also caused conflict between fishermen. This found evidence in the conflict between longline (rawai) fishers and trawl fishers in Bengkalis District-Riau has occurred for more than 30 years. The modernization of fishing gear by government is one of the triggers of the conflict. This research aims to uncover the root causes of conflict and understand communication management to overcome the conflict between traditional and modern fishers. This research used the qualitative and explorative method. The results show that the conflict among fishers in the coastal area of Bengkalis occurs due to the use of trawl and the territorial dispute in fishing. The causes of conflict between fishers are related to lack of rule understanding, economic inequality, and differences in value and culture. Government delivery of the aid that is not sensitive to the need fo traditional fishermen play role in the conflict. This is due to the problem communication management. The resolution of the conflicts at the Fishers community level is possible if the government is able to build the atmosphere through appropriate policies, programs and communication ways for the Fishers community.

This is a quantitative descriptive research that aimes to describe students’ diffulties in develophing the paragraph in Japanese writing, the causal factors, and solutions from difficulties in developing the paragraph experienced by students of Japanese Education program in Semarang State University. Samples of this research were a total of 30 students of Japanese Education Program class 2014. The technique of collecting data used was questionnaire. The data results obtained then were analyzed using descriptive percentage approach. The result of this research showed that difficulties developing paragraph on Japanese essay, included determining ideas, writing topic sentences, composing supporting ideas, writing and composing with logical plot, using phrases, vocabulary and sentence patterns. Factors that affected were the lack of students' interest in reading and writing, and the students' lack of knowledge about paragraphs. The solutions that could be used to overcome these difficulties were often practicing Japanese writing, read other book references and apply vocabulary and sentence pattern to the fullest. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang bertujuan utuk mendeskripsikan keulitan, faktor penyebab, dan solusi dari kesulitan mengembangkan paragraf pada karangan bahasa Jepang yang dialami oleh mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Unnes. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 30 mahasiswa prodi pendidikan Bahasa Jepang angkatan 2014. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan angket. Hasil data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif prosentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kesulitan mengembangkan paragraf pada karangan bahasa Jepang meliputi menentukan ide, menulis kalimat utama, menulis dan menyusun kalimat penjelas dengan alur yang logis, penggunaan ungkapan, kosakata dan pola kalimat. Faktor yang mempengaruhinya adalah kurangnya minat mahasiswa terhadap membaca dan menulis, dan ketidaktahuan mahasiswa tentang paragraf. Solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi kesulitan tersebut yaitu sebaiknya sering berlatih mengarang, membaca referensi buku lain, dan menerapkan kosakata maupun pola kalimat yang sudah dipelajari secara maksimal.

Anemia is defined as a decrease in haemoglobin concentration and the number of erythrocytes. One source of iron in vegetable is the papaya leaf. This study aimed to determine the number of erythrocytes and hemoglobin levels after the application of Carica papaya leaf on mice through the sodium nitrite induction. The research design used was Randomized Design Complete by using five treatments with five repetitions on each treatment. The data measured in this study was number of erythrocytes and hemoglobin levels of rats before being given sodium nitrite, after being given sodium nitrite and after being given papaya leaf juice. The data obtained were analyzed statistically by using variance analysis (ANOVA), and the data that significantly different was then analyzed by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that papaya leaf juice significantly affected the increase of erythrocyte number and hemoglobin level. The concentration that gives the best effect in increasing the number of erythrocytes is 50% papaya leaf juice concentration and 25% papaya leaf juice concentration which gives the best effect in increasing the hemoglobin content. Further, the findings can be used as baseline information for further scientific investigation for using papaya leaf as an alternative medicine in curing anemia disease and analyzing phytochemical, pharmaceutical and other biological activities on other plant or vegetable and to conducted further research by using female mice and pregnant female mice.

Spatial ability and self-regulated learning have broad implications for students. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the improvement of spatial ability and self-regulated learning of students who obtain computer-assisted learning using the 3D Cabri program. This quasi-experimental study with pre-test and post-test design involved 71 tenth grade high school students in Bandung, Indonesia. Furthermore, the experimental class obtained computer-aided learning using the Cabri 3D program, while the control obtained conventional learning using a scientific approach. The analysis discovered that (1) the improvement of students' spatial ability in the experimental class was better than those in the control class, (2) students of the experimental class achieved better spatial ability than those in the control class, (3) the improvement of students' self-regulated learning in the experimental class was better than those in the control class, and (4) students of the experimental class achieved better self-regulated learning than those in the control. These facts can help educators to consider the application of the Cabri 3D program in mathematics education in the future.
