Purpose. The article highlights, on the one hand, the impact of the potential of a developed reflective identity on the processes of civilizational transformations, and on the other hand, the role of the transformational processes of a civilizational scale in the formation of a new type of reflective identity. Acute crisis processes in social development, which humanity has faced so far, in particular after 24.02.2022, indicate the beginning of a radical civilizational transformation. Therefore, in the article, it is necessary to find out with the help of which mental, organizational and personal resources humanity can move to a more developed level of civilization without much loss. It is also necessary to show the importance of the philosophical understanding of reality in the formation of reflective identity because reflection has been the basic method of philosophy since its appearance. Theoretical basis. There is an understanding of the inextricable connection between the level of development of civilization and the level of reflective development of the individual fixed in a certain type of identity: a more historically developed stage of civilization corresponds to a more complex type of identity with multi-level reflection. At the same time, achieving a higher level of civilizational development is possible only under the condition of constructing a more complex and multi-level reflexive identity. Originality. It consists in establishing that the mental-cognitive mechanisms of reflection during the development of civilization passed through the stages of 1) reflexive forms of "the Axial Age", fixed in the corresponding forms of moral, logical, theological, political, etc. culture since the era of Ancient society; 2)reflexive forms of the Modern era with an emphasis on the inner world of man, the emergence of the reflective division into subject and object of knowledge as an essential feature of epistemology, as well as the formation of a modern type of identity; 3) the dual reflection of the post-industrial society and the Second Modern era, the mechanisms of which contribute to the formation of an active and self-sufficient network society and network crowdfunding economy. In this regard, at various stages of the development of civilization, in accordance with certain reflexive mechanisms, the corresponding types of identity are formed: 1) the basic identity of a person determined by his primary socialization; 2) reflective identity which is associated with the acquired cultural potential of a person and the opportunity to consciously choose special features of one’s own identity, and 3) identity which is associated with the existence in a given social culture of a mechanism of double reflection, which allows not only to make a valuable choice of the trajectory of development own identity but also to construct it. Conclusions. The aggravation of the identity problem in the modern world is the result of a civilizational crisis associated with the transformation of modern civilization, the technological basis of which is the introduction of renewable energy and artificial intelligence, as well as the development of network relationships in society. The hierarchical structure of modern identity is conditioned by the gradual historical and civilizational layering of the process of evolution of the reflexive component of identity. In each specific modern society, progressive civilizational transformations take place when an innovative type of identity coexisting with basic and modern types is activated and takes a leadership position. The growing role of network relations in society overcomes the identity crisis due to the reduction of social opposition and the harmonization of different aspects of the identity itself. Perceptible climatic changes and the destruction of the established security system in the world after 24.02.2022 made it obvious to the global thinking public that the world community is at the bifurcation point of a radical civilizational transformation., Мета. Основна мета статті полягає в тому, щоб показати, з одного боку, вплив потенціалу розвинутої рефлексивної ідентичності на процеси цивілізаційних трансформацій, а з другого – роль самих трансформаційних процесів цивілізаційного характеру у становленні нового типу рефлексивної ідентичності. Гострі кризові процеси в суспільному розвитку, із якими наразі зіткнулося людство, зокрема після 24.02.2022, свідчать про початок кардинальної цивілізаційної трансформації. Тому в статті передбачено з’ясувати, за допомогою яких ментальних, організаційних та особистісних ресурсів людство може без особливих втрат перейти до більш розвинутого рівня цивілізації. Також необхідно показати значення філософського осмислення дійсності у становленні рефлексивної ідентичності, оскільки рефлексія є базовим методом філософії з моменту її виникнення. Теоретичний базис. Розуміння нерозривного зв’язку рівня розвитку цивілізації та рівня рефлексивного розвитку особистості закріплене в певному типі ідентичності: більш історично розвиненому етапу цивілізації відповідає більш складний тип ідентичності з багаторівневою рефлексією. Водночас досягнення вищого рівня цивілізаційного розвитку можливе лише за умови конструювання більш складної й багаторівневої рефлексивної ідентичності. Наукова новизна. Установлено, що ментально-когнітивні механізми рефлексії протягом розвитку цивілізації пройшли етапи, по-перше, рефлексивних форм "осьового часу", закріплених у відповідних формах моральної, логічної, теологічної, політичної й т. ін. культури ще з епохи античного суспільства, по-друге, рефлексивних форм доби модерну з акцентуванням на внутрішньому світі людини, виникнення поділу на суб’єкт та об’єкт пізнання як суттєвої риси гносеології, а також формування модерного типу ідентичності, по-третє, подвійної рефлексії доби постіндустріального суспільства й другого модерну, механізми якої сприяють формуванню активного й самодостатнього мережевого соціуму й мережевої краудфандингової економіки. У зв’язку з цим на різних етапах розвитку цивілізації відповідно до тих або інших рефлексивних механізмів формуються й відповідні типи ідентичності: 1) базова ідентичність особи, зумовлена її первинною соціалізацією; 2)рефлексивна ідентичність, що ґрунтується на набутому культурному потенціалі людини та можливості свідомо обирати бажані особливості власної ідентичності; 3) ідентичність, пов’язана з існуванням у цій соціальній культурі механізму подвійної рефлексії, який дозволяє не лише робити ціннісний вибір траєкторії розвитку власної ідентичності, а й конструювати її. Висновки. Загострення проблеми ідентичності в сучасному світі є результатом цивілізаційної кризи, пов’язаної з трансформацією сучасної цивілізації, технологічною основою якої є запровадження відновлювальної енергетики й штучного інтелекту, а також розвиток мережевих взаємовідносин у суспільстві. Ієрархічна структура сучасної ідентичності зумовлена поетапними історико-цивілізаційними нашаруваннями процесу еволюції рефлексивного компонента ідентичності. У кожному конкретному сучасному соціумі прогресивні цивілізаційні трансформації відбуваються в тому випадку, коли інноваційний тип ідентичності, що співіснує з базовим та модерним типами, активізується й посідає лідерські позиції. Зростання ролі мережевих відносин у суспільстві долає кризу ідентичності внаслідок зменшення соціального протистояння та гармонізації її різних сторін. Відчутні кліматичні зміни та руйнування усталеної системи безпеки у світі після 24.02.2022 зробили очевидним для світової мислячої громадськості той факт, що світове співтовариство перебуває в біфуркаційній точці радикальної цивілізаційної трансформації.

Die vorliegende Dissertation untersucht, wie sich inter-organisationale Netzwerke mit Blick auf immer wiederkehrende Identitätsfragen über die Zeit entwickeln. Netzwerke werden dabei als soziale Systeme konzeptualisiert, jenseits der üblichen hierarchischen und markt-orientierten Organisationsformen. Welche Aspekte für Netzwerkmitglieder eine identitätsstiftende Rolle einnehmen, wirkt sich massgeblich auf eine reflexive Netzwerkentwicklung aus. Die Identitätsforschung auf individueller und organisationaler Ebene wird dadurch zunehmend in den wissenschaftlichen Fokus gerückt. Für ein vertieftes Verständnis einer reflexiven Netzwerkentwicklung und somit für erfolgreiche und nachhaltige Kooperation zwischen einzelnen Organisationen bedarf es jedoch weiterer Erkenntnisse auf einer inter-organisationalen Netzwerkebene. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, ein fundiertes Verständnis zu schaffen, wie sich die Identität eines Netzwerks im Laufe der Zeit entwickelt, welche Rolle reflexive Praktiken bei der Bildung und Gestaltung der Identität eines Netzwerks spielen, und wie Identitätspraktiken die Entwicklung eines Netzwerkes im Laufe der Zeit dynamisch stabilisieren können. Inspiriert von einer strukturations-theoretischen Praxistheorie wird die Entwicklung einer Netzwerkidentität untersucht, indem die Identitätsbildung als Bündel von reflexiven Praktiken theoretisch konzeptualisiert und empirisch rekonstruiert wird. Die Forschungsfragen werden anhand einer longitudinalen, qualitativen Einzelfallstudie eines schweizerischen integrierten Versorgungsnetzwerks (InCareNet) analysiert. Die Datenerhebung umfasst 33 halbstrukturierte Interviews, 37 nichtteilnehmende Beobachtungen, 153 Archivaufzeichnungen und 6 Reflexionsworkshops mit dem Forschungsteam und dem Forschungspartner InCareNet. Die Datenanalyse folgt einem abduktiven Forschungsansatz, der zwischen Feldbeobachtungen und theoretischen Erkenntnissen iteriert. Als zentrale Identitätspraktiken werden das aktive Involvieren der Netzwerkmitglieder, die Bereitstellung von kommunikativen Räumen, die kontinuierliche Kommunikation von Identität und das Schaffen von Verbindlichkeiten identifiziert. Der Hauptbeitrag dieser Dissertation liegt in der Entwicklung eines Prozessmodells, das aufzeigt, wie sich die Entwicklung einer Netzwerkidentität als Bündel reflexiver Praktiken im Laufe der Zeit dynamisch stabilisiert., To address the question: Who are we as a network?, this thesis explores how network identity evolves and influences the development of an inter-organizational network over time. Previous research on networks, as social systems beyond the common dichotomous organizational forms of hierarchy and market, emphasizes the vital role of network identity for network development. However, conceptualizations of identity have frequently appeared on an individual and organizational level, but not on a network level. To address this research gap and to understand the social phenomenon of dynamic network identity building, this thesis examines how the identity of a network evolves over time, the role of reflexive practices in building or shaping the identity of a network, and how network identity building practices can dynamically stabilize network development over time. Inspired by a structuration-oriented practice approach, this thesis investigates the development of network identity by theoretically conceptualizing and empirically reconstructing identity building as a bundle of reflexive practices. Three research questions are analyzed through a constructivist-based, longitudinal, and qualitative single case study of a Swiss integrated care network (InCareNet) to capture the complex dynamics in network development. Data collection comprises 33 semi-structured interviews, 37 non-participant observations, 153 archival records, and six reflection workshops between the research team and the field partner, InCareNet. The data analysis follows an abductive research approach, iterating between field observations and theoretical insights. The main contribution of the thesis lies in the development of a process model that elaborates on how network identity building as a bundle of reflexive practices (i.e., the network identity building practices of narrating identity, establishing social locales, involving members, and creating commitment) dynamically stabilizes over time. Based on this process model, the thesis presents three key findings. First, it shows how change can present a vital prerequisite of dynamically stabilizing network identity building. Second, it proposes that network identity building constitutes both a medium and an outcome of reflexive network development. Third, it explains how network identity building can constitute community via continuity. These findings contribute to the current debates in network literature by recognizing and analyzing the continuous reconstruction of network identity building over time.

Purpose. The research is aimed at clarifying the essence of virtual reality and its productive role in the self-realization of the individual, as well as the importance in the process of self-realization of the individual to expand the dimensions of his identity by including virtual dimensions. To do this, the process of formation of the phenomenon of virtual identity in the environment of virtual reality is revealed and the influence of productive human activity in virtual reality on the nature of virtualization of its identity is turned out. Theoretical basis of the work is understanding virtual reality as a combination of conscious productive imagination as its attribute, on the one hand, and the technological component in the form of a computer and related programs on the other hand. An anthropological prerequisite for virtual reality is the ability of the man’s creative imagination to calculate and choose the best model from many mental design ones, using, among other things, horizontal computer networks, which form a virtual identity. Originality. It was found that a necessary condition for the formation of a virtual identity is the exchange of results of productive and intermediary activities between Internet users, which they carry out in Internet networks with the help of virtual reality itself. A person’s productive activity in computer virtual reality – as an auxiliary tool of his creative imagination –creates his virtualized identity in solidarity and competitive interaction with Others, promotes self-realization of his personality and makes his holistic identity more flexible. Исследование направлено на выяснение сущности виртуальной реальности и ее продуктивной роли в самореализации личности, а также значение процесса самореализации личности для расширения измерений ее идентичности путем включения в нее виртуальных измерений. Для этого раскрывается процесс формирования феномена виртуальной идентичности в среде виртуальной реальности и выявляется влияние продуктивной деятельности человека в виртуальной реальности на характер виртуализации ее идентичности. Теоретическим базисом работы является понимание виртуальной реальности как совмещения сознательного продуктивного воображения как ее атрибута, с одной стороны, и технологического компонента в виде компьютера и соответствующих программ, – с другой. Антропологической предпосылкой виртуальной реальности является способность творческого воображения человека из множества мыслительных проектных моделей вычислить и рассчитать самую оптимальную, используя, кроме прочего, горизонтальные компьютерные сети, в которых и формируется виртуальная идентичность. Самореалізація особистості у сучасному світі включає у себе розширення ідентичності за рахунок її віртуалізації. Висновки. Продуктивна діяльність людини у комп’ютерній віртуальній реальності, – як допоміжного інструмента її творчої уяви, – у солідарній та конкурентній взаємодії з Іншими створює її віртуалізовану ідентичність, сприяє самореалізації її особистості та робить її цілісну ідентичність більш гнучкою. Відповідно і філософські дослідження віртуальної реальності з часом доповнюються філософсько-антропологічними дослідженнями віртуальної ідентичності.

The objective of the present study is to examine the strategizing of start-ups in a network context. The paper depicts start-up strategizing as an intertwined activity of identification and boundary-drawing. The questions of network identity and network boundaries become salient in times of disengagement by a primary customer or when there is a need for significant redirection of the business during what is referred to as a network identity crisis. The study emphasizes the viewpoint of an entrepreneur as strategist and builds on the concept of network identity to stress the socially structured individual cognition of who the organization is in light of its network connections. We study strategizing in four start-ups with different identity crises. By applying a grounded theory approach and Gioia methodology, the paper models the dynamics of restart strategizing in terms of its internal and external triggers and the choices when managing three identity-related contradictions. Furthermore, we characterize four alternative restart strategies connected to the identities and boundaries perceived by the entrepreneurs. By embracing the way start-up’s identity and its strategy evolve interdependently in relation to the network dynamics, the model contributes to our understanding of those strategizing activities whereby restart can occur.

Logically it seems that companies pursuing different business strategies would also manage their relationships with other firms accordingly. Nevertheless, due to the lack of research in the field of network strategies, this link still remains inadequately examined. Based on the well-known framework of organisational behaviour developed by Miles and Snow (1978), this paper argues that the patterns of network behaviour practiced by firms greatly depend on the business typology of the company. That is, a company's business typology will to a certain degree dictate the network identity of the company. In this paper evidence is provided, that the relation between a company's strategy, structure and processes in fact have a considerable influence on its pattern of network behaviour. Three case studies from the Danish biotech industry exemplify and illustrate how a company's strategy is directly correlated with how it manages its strategic network relations, which consequently affects its network identity (Eisenhardt1999). It is argued in this paper that the level of relational embeddedness, incentives for establishing strategic relations and the relation between the number of non-redundant and redundant relations are the most dominant elements distinguishing the types of network behaviour in relation to the business typology.The paper thus strives to argue how different business typologies develop a network identity on the basis of their network behaviour. Due to the correlation between a company's strategy, structure and processes and its pattern of network behaviour, knowing how to manage this relation becomes essential, especially during the development of new strategies.
