The research aims to find out and analyze how the electronic word of mouth, the quality of products, prices and promotion of the interest in the prebujaya outfit buy products. The sample used in this study is 105 respondents who once made a purchase at a poor prebujaya outfit. The method of data analysis used in the study is a quantitative data analysis that USES linear regression analysis. The data testing used was the simultaneous hypothesis (f) and the testing of a partial hypothesis (t) from simultaneous tests showing that the electronic word of mouth, product quality, promotion, and price affected the interest of buying. Based on partial testing of electronic word of mouth variables can make a significant difference to purchasing interest, product quality variables have a significant impact on purchasing interests, promotional variables have a significant impact on purchasing interests, and price variables affect the interest of the purchase.

In the smart antenna system, the transmit and receive (T/R) module is one of the core components as it accounts for nearly 45% of the overall smart antenna system cost. Due to the high implementation cost of the T/R module, the literature was mainly centered around the military and satellite radar applications. However, over the years, the cost of the T/R module has been reduced drastically by leveraging on the advanced manufacturing technology, volume production pricing and adaptation of the commercially available off-the-shelf components, as a result, the adoption of the T/R module in commercial and industrial application become possible. In this work, we have proposed a commercially affordable T/R module that operates in 4.9-5.9 GHz band for commercial and industrial applications. The T/R module was designed, calibrated, and characterized for use in the beamforming smart antenna system. The design process including the circuit, schematic and printed circuit board (PCB) were highlighted. The proposed recursive calibration process managed to correct the phase error to ±1° and amplitude error to ±0.2 dB. In addition, the amplitude distribution of 0.5-1-1-0.5 combination has successfully suppressed the side-lobe level (SLL) to -28.7 dB for 0°, -22.71 dB for ±20° and -12.77 dB for ±40° beam steering. This work is aimed to promote the adoption of the T/R module into the commercial and industrial applications such as public or government infrastructure.

This study is aimed at describing: (1) the implementation of animation clips as a media in teaching writing to the eleventh grade students of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Sunan Giri Gondang in academic year 2017/2018, (2) how is the students’ writing score after being taught using Animation clips, (3) problems faced by the teacher in teaching writing using animation clips. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects are the teacher and the eleventh grade students of MA Sunan Giri Gondang in academic year 2017/2018 totally 20 students. The instruments used in this research are test, observation checklist, and interview guide. The result shows that the implementation of animation clips in teaching writing is successful. The students’ writing score is getting better after being taught using Animation clips. The mean score in pre-test is 74 while in post-test is 79. Applying Animation clips in writing class has many advantages such as the class is easy to manage, the students feel free to select the writing topic, etc. However, there are some problems faced by the teacher which result the disadvantages of this media in teaching writing such as the teacher and the students should be very familiar with ICT, the activity should be conducted at computer lab, the teacher finds difficulties in creating animation herself, etc.

This article explores descriptively by using literature review about transformational leadership and the principal strategy to support literacy movement in school. The study found that the critical roles of principal strategy to support financial movement are: (1) developing the curriculum that strengthen science knowledge, nature of science, and implementation in technology and the impacts to the environment and society; (2) incorporating with society (parents, committee, and alumni) for providing books in library; (3) using contextual learning strategy that balancing learning activity in school and society; (4) Strengthen story telling activity or re-telling to motivate students to read; (5) arranging pedagogic approach included discussion, scientific research, academic writing, and argumentation; (6) recruit professional library officer; (7) encourage teacher and staff to support school literacy movement with 15 minutes reading before learning starts; (8) developing short and long term literacy program.

Objective: Adolescents living with HIV are sexually active and engaged in risky sexual behaviors. Knowledge on how and to what extent adolescents in HIV care are affected by pregnancy is needed so as to adopt better preventive services. We estimated 4-year pregnancy incidence and correlates among HIV-infected female adolescents in HIV care in urban Côte d'Ivoire., Design: We conducted retrospective analysis of a pediatric prospective cohort of the International epidemiological Databases to Evaluate AIDS (IeDEA) West Africa Collaboration. Female patients with confirmed HIV infection aged 10-19 years, having at least one clinical visit in 2009 to health facilities participating in the pediatric IeDEA West African cohort in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, were included. Data on incident pregnancies were obtained through medical records and interviews with health professionals. Pregnancy incidence rate was estimated per 100 person-years (PY). Poisson regression models were used to identify factors associated with the first pregnancy and provided incidence rate ratios (IRR) with 95% confidence intervals (CI)., Results: In 2009, 266 female adolescents were included, with a median age of 12.8 years (interquartile range, IQR: 10.0-15.0), CD4 cell counts of 506 cells/mm(3) (IQR: 302-737), and 80% on antiretroviral treatment. At the 48th month, 17 new pregnancies were reported after 938 PY of follow-up: 13 girls had one pregnancy while 2 had two pregnancies. Overall incidence rate of pregnancy was 1.8/100 PY (95% CI: 1.1-2.9). High incidence was observed among those aged 15-19 years: 3.6/100 PY (95% CI: 2.2-5.9). Role of maternal death in the risk of pregnancy was at the limit of statistical significance (adjusted IRR: 3.1, 95% CI: 0.9-11.0; ref. non-maternal orphans)., Conclusions: Incidence of pregnancy among HIV-infected adolescents in care aged 15-19 years reached a level observed in adult cohorts in Sub-Saharan Africa. Health personnel in pediatric care have to intensify their efforts to provide more realistic and age-adapted reproductive health services to meet the needs of adolescent patients already confronting issues of sexuality. Vulnerability of maternal orphans merits further investigation.

Introduction: We studied the frequency of documentation of disclosure of HIV status in medical charts and its correlates among HIV-infected adolescents in 2009, in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire., Methods: The PRADO-CI is a cross-sectional study aimed at studying HIV-infected adolescents' social, psychological, and behavioural difficulties and their determinants in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. In this study, we present specific analyses on disclosure. All HIV-infected adolescents aged 13-21 years and followed at least once in 2009 in two urban HIV-care centres in Abidjan (Cepref and Yopougon Teaching Hospital) were enrolled in the study. Standardized data were extracted from medical records to document if there was notification of disclosure of HIV status in the medical record. Frequency of notification of HIV disclosure was estimated with its 95% confidence interval (CI) and correlates were analyzed using logistic regression., Results: In 2009, 229 adolescents were included: 126 (55%) males; 93% on antiretroviral therapy (ART), 61% on cotrimoxazole prophylaxis. Their median age was 15 years at the time of the study. Among the 193 patients for whom information on HIV status disclosure was documented (84%), only 63 (32.6%; 95% CI=26.0-39.3%) were informed of their status. The proportion of adolescents informed increased significantly with age: 19% for 13-15 years, 33% for 16-18 years and 86% for 19-21 years (p <0.0001). Adolescents on ART tended to be more likely to be informed of their HIV status (34.5%) than those not treated (13.3%) (p=0.11). Those on cotrimoxazole were significantly more likely to be informed (39.6%) than those not (21.9%) (p=0.01). Disclosure was significantly higher in adolescents with a history of ART regimen change (p=0.003) and in those followed in the Cepref (48.4%) compared to the Yopougon Teaching Hospital (24.8%), (p=0.001). In multivariate analyses, disclosed HIV status was significantly higher in those followed-up in the Cepref compared to the other centre: adjusted odds ratio (aOR)=3.5 (95% CI: 1.1-10.9), and among older adolescents compared to those aged 13-15 years: [16-18 years] aOR=4.2 (95% CI: 1.5-11.5) and [>18 years]: aOR=22.1 (95% CI: 5.2-93.5)., Conclusions: HIV disclosure rate was low among Ivoirian HIV adolescents and was site- and age-dependent. There is a need for practical interventions to support HIV disclosure to adolescents which provides age-appropriate information about the disease.

The cell cycle consists of four main phases: G(1), S, G(2), and M. Most cells undergo these cycles up to 40-60 times in their life. However, neurons remain in a nondividing, nonreplicating phase, G(0). Neurons initiate but do not complete cell division, eventually entering apoptosis. Research has suggested that like cancer, Alzheimer's disease (AD) involves dysfunction in neuronal cell cycle reentry, leading to the development of the two-hit hypothesis of AD. The first hit is abnormal cell cycle reentry, which typically results in neuronal apoptosis and prevention of AD. However, with the second hit of chronic oxidative damage preventing apoptosis, neurons gain "immortality" analogous to tumor cells. Once both of these hits are activated, AD can develop and produce senile plaques and neurofibrillary tangles throughout brain tissue. In this review, we propose a mechanism for neuronal cell cycle reentry and the development of AD.

Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of oral sildenafil in Asian men with erectile dysfunction of various causes (organic, psychogenic, or mixed) and of more than 6 months' duration., Methods: In this double-blind, parallel-group trial conducted at eight centers in Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore, 254 men, 26 to 78 years old, were randomized to 12 weeks of sildenafil or placebo taken as needed 1 hour before anticipated sexual activity. Initially, the sildenafil (n = 127) or matching placebo (n = 127) dose was 50 mg but could be increased to 100 mg or decreased to 25 mg because of a lack of efficacy or intolerance, respectively. Efficacy was assessed by the 15-question International Index of Erectile Function, patients' event logs of sexual activity, and a global efficacy question about erections., Results: The two primary efficacy variables relating to achievement and maintenance of an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse, as assessed by the mean scores for International Index of Erectile Function question 3 (4.22 versus 2.59) and question 4 (4.15 versus 2.41), were both significantly higher with sildenafil than with placebo (P <0.0001). In addition, the five separate International Index of Erectile Function domains of sexual function, the percentage of successful intercourse attempts, and the global efficacy assessment of erections revealed significantly greater treatment effects in favor of sildenafil (P <0.0001 versus placebo for all variables). Treatment-related adverse events occurred in 22.8% of patients who received sildenafil and in 10.2% of those who received placebo., Conclusions: Sildenafil is an effective and well-tolerated treatment for Asian men with erectile dysfunction of broad-spectrum etiology.
