Testicular granulosa cell tumors (TGCTs) are rare tumors of sex cord-stromal origin. TGCTs are classified into two main categories, the adult type and the juvenile type. The adult type is extremely rare, with only 93 known cases reported in the literature. Herein, we present a report of a case of a 30-year-old male patient who presented with a testicular mass and underwent radical inguinal orchiectomy; the pathology examination revealed an adult-type granulosa tumor. Bladder metastasis from gastric cancer is a unique clinical entity, which can be revealed infrequently in patients with metastatic gastric cancer. Secondary neoplasms to the bladder are also a less frequent clinical entity representing only 15% of all bladder neoplasms. Gastric cancers consist of an exceptionally small percentage of all secondary bladder neoplasms. Until now only 27 cases were recorded in the international medical literature. The current work analyzes a 65-year old male patient who presented initially with a locally advanced gastric adenocarcinoma. He was treated with a combination of total gastrectomy and perioperative chemotherapy. Eight months later presented a relapse with bladder metastasis, liver metastasis and peritoneal involvement. Furthermore, in this manuscript, we conducted a review of the recorded cases with bladder metastasis from gastric cancer. In the most of cases the diagnosis of bladder metastasis was metachronous with an average time of presentation in four years after the primary diagnosis of gastric cancer and most of the patients of our review presented with urinary symptoms at the time of diagnosis of bladder metastasis. Concerning the management of the metastatic disease surgical management with total or partial cystectomy was performed in 11% of patients and TUR was performed in 22% of patients. The BRAF-V600E mutation has been established as a signature alteration occurring almost universally in hairy cell leukemia. Moreover, it can be detected in a small percentage of patients with non-small cell lung cancer. We report the case of a patient with a metastatic BRAF-V600E-mutated lung adenocarcinoma suffering from concomitant hairy cell leukemia. The identification of an identical BRAF mutation in both malignancies raises physiopathological considerations and might offer unique therapeutic strategies for this group of patients. We report the cases of 2 patients who achieved durable control of both conditions with long-term stabilization of the neutrophil and platelet count under treatment with methotrexate. Based on patient preference, no G-CSF was applied for the treatment of neutropenia and, similarly to the first patient, a therapy with methotrexate and folic acid was initiated instead. Nine months under methotrexate, absolute neutrophil count rose above the neutropenic range, while the platelet count was also improved and stabilized above 100 × 10 SP 9 sp /L. Aromatase inhibitors (AIs) are a commonly used antihormonal therapy in the treatment of breast cancer in postmenopausal women, specifically in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. AI-associated tendinopathy and muscle tendon rupture is exceedingly rare. Until now, only one case with AI-associated severe tendinopathy has been reported in the medical literature, and there are no recorded cases of AI-associated muscle tendon rapture. We report three cases of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer, who experienced tendinopathy or muscle tendon rupture under antihormonal treatment with letrozole. All of the three women were in the adjuvant setting, and the treatment of tendinopathy or tendon rupture consisted of AI discontinuation, initiation of corticosteroids, or surgical treatment. Diagnosis was made via MRI. Furthermore, in our cases, there were no signs of underlying systemic disease, there was no abnormal physical activity preceding the complaints, and there was no use of other drugs beside letrozole. AIs are one of the most commonly used drugs in antihormonal therapy for hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. In every case of a female patient with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer under treatment with AIs and arthralgia, an MRI should be performed in order to exclude the presence of tendinopathy or muscle tendon rupture.
