Abstract

The article discusses research which investigated the associations of anxiety and depression symptoms with non-completion of first-line treatment in newly diagnosed non-small cell lung cancer or small cell lung cancer patients in Denmark. The study assessed anxiety and depression symptoms using the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Sacle and their correlation with poor medical treatment adherence and psychological disorders adjusted for health status, socioeconomic and lifestyle factors.
