This work describes a novel iron‐catalysed approach for the synthesis of aryl‐substituted benzimidazoles and benzoxazoles. The methodology employs reductive carbonylation using readily available aryl iodides and aryl amines as precursors, with carbon monoxide serving as the efficient carbonyl source. The reaction proceeds under mild conditions with the addition of hydrosilanes and bases. Notably, aryl aldehydes are generated in situ from the aryl iodides, which subsequently react with o‐phenylenediamine or 2‐aminophenol to afford the desired products in high yields. The structures of the synthesized benzimidazoles and benzoxazoles were confirmed using 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

An efficient method of synthesizing the various 3-Fluorochromones from enamino ketones by using N-Fluoro benzenesulfonimide (NFSI) is described. The key step in the synthesis involves tandem cyclization and fluorination to form 3-fluorochromones in good yields. The significant features of this method include simple operational procedures, high purity of the product and cost reducing. This reaction achieved good to excellent yields (51–92%) under ambient conditions with significantly faster rate. The products obtained were confirmed by 1H, 13C NMR and mass spectroscopy techniques. An efficient and rapid method of synthesizing 1–3,3‐dimethyl triazenes has been developed. This method involves utilizing in situ generated aryldiazonium tetrafluoroborate salts using substituted aryl amines with "DMF‐DMA" (N,N‐Dimethylformamide‐dimethyl acetal) at room temperature. This reaction achieved good to excellent yields (68–95 %) under ambient conditions with a significantly faster rate. The proposed reaction was screened with various withdrawing, donating, and neutral groups containing aryldiazonium salts, and obtained products were confirmed by 1H, 13C NMR and mass spectroscopy techniques. The present study envisaged the development of an efficient protocol of Mn-catalyzed reductive carbonylation of aryl iodides to aryl aldehydes and their corresponding imidazole and oxazole derivatives, by using CO as a carbonyl source, in the presence of hydrosilanes and base [Na2CO3 and NaHCO3 (1:1)] under mild reaction conditions gave a series of aldehydes in good yields. A new, simple, and efficient synthetic protocol has been developed for Carbonylative Sonogashira Coupling (CSC) with aryl iodides, aromatic terminal alkynes, and CO (2 atm) by using manganese chloride (MnCl2) as a catalyst. This article describes the synthesis of a new phosphine free tetradentate Pd catalyst using dl-2,3-diaminopropionic acid. The complex was characterized by Mass, IR, and 1H NMR. The catalyst is air stable at room temperature and non-hygroscopic. Application of this new catalyst to regioselective C–H activation on 1-substituted 1,2,3-triazole and indoles with aryl iodides to get corresponding C-5 and C-2 arylated products with satisfactory yields.
