The most reliable prognostic factors associated with Upper Extremity (UE) recovery are localized motor impairments, especially in the musculature of the hand and abduction of the shoulder in the first days after a stroke. Evaluation of the biomechanics of the hand allows an accurate identification of the motion arcs of the digital joints. Objective: Assess the prognostic value of the range of motion of the finger joints using an instrumental glove (CyberGlove II®) one week after stroke for UE functional recovery at 6 months. Methodology: A prospective, longitudinal, observational study with follow-ups at 3-4 days, 1 week, 3 and 6months of patients with UE motor impairment. Variables collected included: demographic data, level of stroke severity (NIHSS), deep sensitivity, sphincter incontinence, Fugl Meyer Assessment of UE (FM-UE), muscle balance with the Medical Research Council (MRC), muscle tone (Modified Ashworth Scale) and pre- and post-stroke functional ability (Barthel Index and Modified Rankin Scale). Active range of motion of the metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints of the index, middle finger, annulary, and little finger was assessed with CyberGlove II® without and against gravity. The dependent variable UE function was evaluated with the Action Research Arm Test (ARAT) categorized as good function (ARAT=10) and poor function (ARAT

People with disabilities have limitations in activities of daily life such as grasping a glass of water or moving and object. Orthotic products that improve or restore the funcionality of the musculoskeletal system of a patient contribute to some extent to overcome the limitations described. So does the hand brace, used to treat musculosketal disorders caused by various diseases (rheumatic disorders, neurological, orthopedic and others). The paper shows a novel exoskeleton to grasp any object. The novelty of this mechanism is that works without external energy, it works with a wrist movement that generates a kinetic movement and helps to grasp with an extra force

To understand the needs of this and then analyze them. From this point ideas were generated, prototypes and after trial and error, generate a final design. The result of the project is an urban park focused on the user with multiple modular objects which adapt to the architecture as one is different from the other. The objects and the redesign of the place comply with a circular ecology in each of its steps. Concluding with a design which can be applied as an alternative to its restoration.

If the future is headed towards further development of the urban environment with the economy being the driving force of this movement, then the study shall take advantage of the interior spaces of a corporate setting to initiate the adaptation of a new epoch suggesting an interconnected reality through the partnership between humans and greenery. The design will focus on coworking spaces in particular, since it allows for various types of individuals and communities from different backgrounds and industries to come together working in progress towards said development. By allowing each member to begin the practice of caring for and interacting with their own hydroponics system, one will be able to see the importance of cohabitating sustainably with the environment, with the larger project (and speculative) goal of revolutionizing societal order. For years, classrooms and schools looked the same anywhere in the world. To teach children you will need a room, chairs, tables, a teacher, and a blackboard. The same can be found in every country around the world. That changed during COVID lockdowns when children couldn’t go to their classes and a new way had to be found. Unfortunately, the solution was to use a tool that wasn’t design for teaching and not for children as users, but for adults for work meetings. Children need more than a face in a screen to connect to their teacher and their friends, they are used to touch each other, use gestures with all their body parts and move much more than a camera on a laptop can allow. This paper is aiming to find a new way to allow children to join their class even if they can’t leave their home. It was designed at first to get ready for the next pandemic or catastrophe, but it can also be used during normal times for children that can’t get the right education because they live far from schools or children that suffer from disease that prevent them to leave home. Two solutions are suggested at this paper for a more advanced classrooms that can support all the kids, whether they are in class or not: one solution is feasible today, using the technology we are using right now but designed for children needs. and the other is looking a decade forward, to a time when technology would be mature enough.

The goal of the project is the creation of a structure to generate ephemeral spaces for the development of cultural activities such as festivals, fairs, concerts, markets, among others, which have in common the logistics for the assembly of ephemeral scenarios. The project seeks to solve the problem of logistic in terms of time and effort to arm and disarm these spaces that will give space to short-term events through a foldable structure, and that when it is not in use it can be easily stored, so that it will save time and space. On a first stage the project will focus on the study of the environment where it will be placed, form and function must be connected with Barcelona’s identity bringing its historic value to the present and creating a reinterpretation of the design and architectural richness of the place. Second, I’ll use Origami techniques as a creative tool to explore the challenges and possibilities that a foldable structure can bring to the project, as well as combine the technique of folding surfaces with the design guidelines found on the research made around the city The final stage will be testing the system in different spaces around the city, this places will be chosen based on their importance, challenging characteristics, and use, to prove how efficient and adaptable FOLDING SPACES can be to the specific needs of each place and event.

With the development of Internet technology, digital health has been actively developed. It is particularly prominent in young people's mental health because the digital natives are a generation that grows up with the Internet. Online psychotherapy is still in the development stage, where is no clear standard and age limit in the market, but there are also plenty of opportunities. This project looks at the future and believes the digital health APP will focus more on specific ages and mental illnesses. In this context, First, we choose 15-19 years old people as the potential user group of this project because they are in a particular period of cognitive plasticity and deserve more attention. Then we chose online cooperation games as a way to design because gamification design is compatible with CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and online cooperation can give users a sense of electronic intimacy. Based on these two points, we have designed a supplementary APP for young people aged 15-19, so that they can use it when they deal with mental health problems. This APP is not to replace the role of psychotherapy doctors but as an auxiliary service to help them reduce their loneliness during therapy, increase their sense of normality, and provide more positive information exchanges. We call it LIGHT UP.

More than 2.7 million people died in the United States in 2016, each leaving behind an estimated 1–5 close friends or relatives who are highly affected by the death. This means there are about 10 million newly bereaved persons each year."( Iglewicz et al., 2020) If this estimation method is carried out worldwide, there will be much more. Although various research has made great progress in the field of grief, especially for complicated grief, researchers have designed an evidence-based structured treatment of complicated grief. However, in an environment where psychology clinicians are far in short supply, the low penetration rate of knowledge in this field, and the limitations of clinicians' abilities have caused the difficulty of managing grief. Here, I explored the possibility of combining AI technology to provide support to people in grief and completed the design of one possible application. It is based on the analysis of clinical empirical research on managing grief, inspired by the collaboration of people from different fields to successfully transform the experience of managing grief into a more accessible way for users.
