Industrial reception spaces (IRSs) are receptacles for a large part of the national socioeconomic activity in Morocco. They contribute substantially to sustaining economic growth and national dynamics of industrialization. These areas are increasingly faced with several constraints, notably deficient infrastructure, competitiveness, and compliance with the new environmental legislation. These constraints stem from the proven and potential impacts of CC on both individual industrial units and the IRS as a common space. There is an urgent need to make these spaces environment-friendly and more resilient to current and future climate risks through appropriate methodological approaches, leading to effective climate risk management and implementation of proactive CC adaptation strategies. This was the context in which this study was conducted. As a case study, the industrial area (IA) of Aït Melloul, located near the city of Agadir in Morocco, was based on a participatory approach of climate risk assessment involving a task force representing the main socio-economic and state operators concerned by this IA. This was accomplished by analyzing the risks and vulnerabilities of the IRS and the agri-food units within it. The analysis provides key elements for a future strategy for business sector resilience and energy transition. The new project to requalify Ait Melloul IA would provide an opportunity to incorporate these elements as well as to capitalize on lessons learned from programs at the local level, particularly about energy efficiency and building the adaptive capacity of businesses.

To be sustainable, mobility must be smart, safe, fair, and take into account the harmful effects on the environment. It must improve the quality of citizen’s life by safeguarding human health and natural ecosystems. This sustainable mobility must optimize resource consumption and public spaces, facilitate accessibility, promote economic dynamism, commit to the social responsibility of individuals, companies, and society, and respect environmental integrity [1]. Thus, sustainable mobility contributes to development and responds to the travel demands of present generations without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs [2]. All modes of transport emitted in Morocco in 2014: 16 million tons of CO2 equivalent representing 19.2% of the country's total emissions. Morocco has set itself a target of 42% for reducing GHG emissions from the year 2030 [3]. This article presents the results of research conducted for the setting up of a new model of sustainable mobility - in a horizon of 20 years – in an urban Moroccan area, booming 'Fez'. It offers a conceptual approach to measuring the sustainability of the transport system. An analysis of the supply and the need for trips in a reference situation first allows for formalizing realistic objectives. Then, a sustainable mobility model is developed to prevent social and environmental costs from being higher than the services provided by the transport systems of this city. Finally, a comparison between the trend situation and the corrected situation with this sustainable mobility model allows us to appreciate its contribution.

Information on extreme rainfall frequencies is required for Urban Drainage (UD) networks design. In this paper, the Regional Frequency Analysis (RFA), based on the L-moments, is used to: (i) analyze the trend of Annual Maximum Precipitation (AMP) over two analysis periods (1970–1989 and 1990–2015), (ii) estimate the regional Intensity-Duration-Frequency (IDF) curves of northern Morocco and (iii) assess the impact of the changes in rainfall intensities on the UD networks design during analysis periods.In reference to Hosking & Wallis (1997) and Alila, (1999), the Generalized Extreme Value (GEV) distribution has been used as a regional distribution to estimate regional quantiles for the analysis periods (1970–1999 and 1990–2015).
