Ocular accommodation refers to the process by which the ciliary muscle creates a clear image of the object in the retina by changing the refractive power of the lens. When the accommodation ability of the eye is insufficient, the imaging focus falls on the region behind the retina and hyperopic defocus is easily formed, resulting in axial growth and leading to the development of myopia, and it is found that most myopic patients usually have some accommodation dysfunction. Myopia has become a public health problem in China, and the prevalence of adolescents has increased dramatically. How to prevent and stop the occurrence and development of myopia is a major challenge. Previous studies have found that ocular accommodation dysfunction is associated with the occurrence and development of myopia, and the measurement of parameters related to accommodation function has certain guiding significance for the prevention and control of myopia. The purpose of this paper is to review the correlation between myopia and ocular accommodation function, with a view to providing new ideas for the prevention, control and treatment of myopia.

To evaluate the effect of family psychosocial intervention on the mental health and family function of caregivers of children with cancer.

This paper uses a clustering algorithm to extract and classify credit rating features of tobacco retailers and evaluates whether the classification results are reasonable by combining clustering evaluation indexes. The distance between samples is calculated using the similarity measure. The natural domain method density and peak clustering method are used to analyze the distribution of sample points in the data set. Combining the cluster analysis creates the tobacco retail credit rating evaluation index. The results show that cluster analysis can effectively extract credit rating features from tobacco retailers. When the number of features is 25, the model has the best classification effect, with a classification accuracy rate of 91.1%, a recall rate of 91.5%, and an F1 value of 91.3%. The classification of tobacco retailers’ credit ratings can be improved effectively by the research in this paper.

Animation movie conveys the connotation of animation to the audience through visual symbols, and the audience-oriented animation movie improves the aesthetic ability and diversifies the creative design. This paper starts with the analysis of visual communication design technology in animated films, analyzes the principle of visual communication design of animated images, and realizes the production of animated films by using multi-visual 3D animation modeling and texture rendering technology. The Sobel edge operator is introduced to optimize the image edge data of animated movies, so as to improve the image quality of animated movies. The development trend of visual communication design is discussed, and the aesthetic characteristics of visual communication design for animated films and the mutual influence between them are analyzed. In order to explore the aesthetic expression and creative design methods of animated films, quantitative analysis of data was conducted using current animated film works. The results show that the bit code rate in the full intra-frame coding mode of optimized production of animated images using visual communication technology is −1.87%, the highest quality factor is around 0.95, and the variation of smoothness is kept between 80% and 90%. Audience-oriented visual communication design of animated films should be based on the utility of information conveyance and rhythmic rhyme design and prompt the creative design of animated films through association, whimsy, metaphor, style and other ways.

In this paper, we introduce a novel artificial intelligence technique with an attention mechanism for half-space electromagnetic imaging. A dielectric object in half-space is illuminated by TM (transverse magnetic) waves. Since measurements can only be made in the upper space, the measurement angle will be limited. As a result, we apply a back-propagation scheme (BPS) to generate an initial guessed image from the measured scattered fields for scatterer buried in the lower half-space. This process can effectively reduce the high nonlinearity of the inverse scattering problem. We further input the guessed images into the generative adversarial network (GAN) and the self-attention generative adversarial network (SAGAN), respectively, to compare the reconstruction performance. Numerical results prove that both SAGAN and GAN can reconstruct dielectric objects and the MNIST dataset under same measurement conditions. Our analysis also reveals that SAGAN is able to reconstruct electromagnetic images more accurately and efficiently than GAN.

Abstract Background Prognostic indicators based on the initial prostate‐specific antigen (PSA) levels, nadir PSA, and time to PSA nadir were calculated to evaluate prognosis after primary androgen deprivation therapy (PADT), as these have been reported in very few studies. We attempted to evaluate the prognostic role of the slope associated with nadir PSA in patients treated with PADT. Methods A total of 107 patients who were treated with PADT from 2015 to 2019 were reviewed. The Kaplan–Meier method and Cox regression model were used to analyze the prognostic significance of the slope associated with nadir PSA in predicting progression‐free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS). Results After PADT, the median follow‐up duration was 40.1 months; 66 patients (61.7%) had disease progression, and 33 patients (30.8%) died. In the univariate analysis, T stage, N stage, nadir PSA, time to PSA nadir, nadir PSA declining slope (nPSA‐DS), nadir PSA percentage declining slope (nPSA‐PDS), and nadir PSA line slope (nPSA‐LS) were significant predictors for PFS and OS. The multivariate analysis showed that a higher nPSA‐DS (> − 0.74) and lower PSA nadir (≤0.16 ng/ml) were independent predictors for prolonged survival. The significance of nPSA‐DS and nPSA was supported by the analysis of nPSA‐DS and nPSA as time‐dependent covariates. The combined analyses demonstrated that patients with a higher nPSA‐DS and lower PSA nadir had the best PFS and OS. Conclusions The slope associated with the nadir PSA of nPSA‐DS was a significant independent predictor for patients treated with PADT. Nadir PSA and nPSA‐DS have a synergistic effect on prognosis.

Although mold designs are used in various sectors, molding composite materials results in issues such as deformation and insufficient stiffness. To this end, the response surface method was used to optimize the design of the mold support structure partition, improving the performance parameters of the mold by increasing the number of U and V direction partitions. The experiment showed that the deformation during forklift transportation decreased by 36.5%, during lifting transportation by 13.9%, during paving deformation by 36.9%, and during hot pressing, the deformation of the tank was reduced by 18.2%. After optimization, the maximum deformation of the mold under conditions such as forklift transportation, lifting, and paving is similar to or slightly reduced from the original model. Meanwhile, the thermal deformation and quality of the mold decreased by 28% and 12.8%, respectively. The research results have important reference value for the design of composite material forming molds, helping to improve the performance and efficiency of the molds and reduce costs. By optimizing the design of the support structure partition, effective control of mold deformation can be achieved, and the stiffness of the mold can be improved, thereby ensuring the stability and reliability of the mold under various working conditions.

Bone metastasis is a frequent complication for cancers and an important reason for the mortality in cancer patients. After surviving in bone, cancer cells can cause severe pain, life-threatening hypercalcemia, pathologic fractures, spinal cord compression, and even death. However, the underlying mechanisms of bone metastasis were not clear. The role of calcium (Ca2+) in cancer cell proliferation, migration, and invasion has been well established. Interestingly, emerging evidence indicates that Ca2+ signaling played a key role in bone metastasis, for it not only promotes cancer progression but also mediates osteoclasts and osteoblasts differentiation. Therefore, Ca2+ signaling has emerged as a novel therapeutical target for cancer bone metastasis treatments. Here, the role of Ca2+ channels and Ca2+-binding proteins including calmodulin and Ca2+-sensing receptor in bone metastasis, and the perspective of anti-cancer bone metastasis therapeutics via targeting the Ca2+ signaling pathway are summarized.

Objective: the objective of this study was to retrospectively analyze the change in the surgical strategy (SS) of brachial plexus injuries (BPI), the outcomes of different SS and the factors that influenced the establishing process of a new SS in a single surgical centre in Kyiv, Ukraine. Materials and Methods. 148 patients (mean age 29.5) received 76 neurolysis (N), 14 grafting (G) and 58 nerve transfer (NT) surgeries after a mean 7.4 months following BPI. 29 patients received NT of n. phrenicus, 7 –ulnar nerve fascicles, 9 – lateral pectoral nerve, 7 – medial pectoral nerve to musculocutaneous nerve aimed to restore active elbow flexion. Six other patients received NT of ipsilateral extraplexal motor nerves. The follow-up period included neurological examination (MRC Scale), electromyographic examination and angular deviation in the elbow joint during recovered active elbow flexion. 148 patients were retrospectively divided into two groups A (102 patients, received surgeries from surgical team #1) and B (46 patients, received surgeries from surgical team #2). The SS used in each group and its change with time was analyzed during the 6-year span. Results. 41 patients (70.7%) showed recovery of effective power (Ep) (M4-5) of biceps brachii muscle (BB) after NT. 14 patients (18.4%) showed recovery of Ep of BB after N. 4 patients (28.6%) showed recovery of Ep of BB after G. Overall Group A patients received 55 NT, Group B – 3 NT. The number of NT among Group A patients increased in 2013-2019 from 31% to 100% with overall efficacy of NT increased from 50% to 83%. Conclusions. SS of BPI changed only for Group A patients – N was completely replaced by NT in 2019. For Group B patients N remained SS of choice. The establishing of new SS was influenced by four factors (time, anatomy of injury, donor nerves, radiological findings). The factors being processed, allowed us to define optimal time, effective donors and non-reliability of radiology at BPI. We state that it is only matter of own experience, based on the thorough analysis of the technique, that brings positive outcomes after new SS has been adopted.

The decrease of rock stability is caused by the possible deterioration of rock mechanical properties under high temperature environment. Therefore, the study of the constitutive behavior of rocks under high temperature is of great significance. Based on the recent researches of statistical rock damage constitutive model, the statistical damage constitutive model of rock after high temperature is established by adopting M-C criterion with the thermal damage variable and Weibull distribution function and the parameter expression is determined. The model is compared with the theoretical curve to verify its rationality. Finally, the model is verified by the uniaxial compression test results of sandstone under different temperature conditions (e.g., 25 ℃, 80 ℃, 100 ℃, 150 ℃). The results show that the theoretical curve of statistical damage constitutive model of the high-temperature rock established in this paper has the same trend as the theoretical curve in the literature, proving that the established constitutive model is reasonable. The theoretical curve of the model is in good agreement with the curve obtained in the experiments, implying that it can represent the stress-strain characteristics of sandstone failure under the condition of uniaxial test. This model does not contain unconventional mechanical parameters, and the physical meaning is clear. The research results can provide theoretical support for related calculations and numerical simulations of rock mechanics after high-temperature treatment.

Vehicle longitudinal dynamics system has the characteristics of being strongly non-linear, time-varying, and multiple-perturbed, so, it is difficult to build the mathematical model accurately. The control algorithms, based on accurate mathematical model, can hardly achieve the ideal effect, but control methods, which merely adopt input/output data (I/O) of a system, provides a solution. In this paper, by means of combing model-free adaptive control (MFAC) and sliding-mode control (SMC), the model-free adaptive sliding mode control (MFASMC) method is proposed. By comparison with feedback-feedforward control method, the MFASMC method can better improve the control effect and anti-disturbance performance. Meanwhile, the stability of MFASMC method was proven mathematically. Besides, the parameters of MFASMC method were optimized using genetic algorithm. Results of simulation and HiL test shows that the MFASMC method has fast response, strong robustness and smooth output. It would be better to apply it to the longitudinal dynamics control of intelligent vehicles.

The hybrid structures of graphene with semiconductor materials based on photogating effect have attracted extensive interest in recent years due to the ultrahigh responsivity. However, the responsivity (or gain) was increased at the expense of response time. In this paper, we devise a mechanism which can obtain an enhanced responsivity and fast response time simultaneously by manipulating the photogating effect (MPE). This concept is demonstrated by using a graphene/silicon-on-insulator (GSOI) hybrid structure. An ultrahigh responsivity of more than 107 A/W and a fast response time of 90 µs were obtained. The specific detectivity D* was measured to be 1.46 ⨯ 1013 Jones at a wavelength of 532 nm. The Silvaco TCAD modeling was carried out to explain the manipulation effect, which was further verified by the GSOI devices with different doping levels of graphene in the experiment. The proposed mechanism provides excellent guidance for modulating carrier distribution and transport, representing a new route to improve the performance of graphene/semiconductor hybrid photodetectors.

2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19, previously known as novel coronavirus pneumonia) was first discovered in December 2019 and spread widely in China and all over the world in 2020. The initial symptoms of most patients include fever, cough, and fatigue. Dyspnea may occur with the progress of the disease, and acute respiratory distress syndrome may occur in severe cases. The CT manifestations of this disease are mainly ground-glass opacity (GGO) in the lung, which may be accompanied by patchy consolidation, and fibrous changes may appear in the lung at the later stage of the disease. Combined with typical clinical and imaging findings and positive nucleic acid test results, the disease can be diagnosed. We report the first case of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Heilongjiang Province, China. The patient was seriously ill, who felt that he suffered from fever, fatigue, cough, and expectoration and sought medical treatment, with a history of contact with Wuhan. The leukocyte count was normal, and the lymphocyte count was decreased. CT imaging showed large GGO and partial patchy consolidation in both lungs. The patient recovered and was discharged after 26 days of treatment. This study is helpful for early diagnosis and timely clinical management by mastering the typical imaging of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

It is the goal that evaluating scientifically port logistics system vulnerability level under public health emergencies, exploring the influencing factors of brittleness and improving the production operation and management efficiency of port logistics system. According to the production practice of port logistics system and vulnerability theory, a vulnerability evaluation index system of port logistics system under public health emergencies is established in five aspects, including external risk disturbance, human resource management level, infrastructure level, operation and management level, and intelligence level. The combinatorial weights are obtained by combinatorial empowerment method of game theory, and it is used to process data that evidence theory improved by conflict correction process and mass function with normal cloud model. The vulnerability of Dalian port logistics system is analyzed empirically, and the result is better effectiveness.

Background: Currently, the goal of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) treatment is normal survival and good quality of life without life-long treatment, namely, “treatment-free remission” (TFR). At present, approximately only 50% of patients with CML with a deep molecular response are able to discontinue tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) without experiencing molecular relapse [MR; loss of major molecular response (MMR)]. In addition, prior interferon (IFN) treatment is associated with a higher rate of TFR. Methods: We aimed to evaluate the feasibility of TKI discontinuation in Chinese patients with CML and determine whether IFN could prevent MR when used after TKI discontinuation in patients with 0.0032% < BCR-ABL IS ⩽0.1%. Therefore, we retrospectively analyzed the data of patients with CML who discontinued TKI treatment at our center. Results: Forty-nine patients who discontinued TKI therapy after achieving MR 4.5 were included in this study, and the median follow-up time from TKI discontinuation was 27 (7, 75) months. Nineteen patients eventually lost MMR, and the TFR rate of the 49 patients was 67% (95% confidence interval 53.6%, 80.3%) at 12 months. The duration of MR 4.5 ⩾54 months and duration of imatinib ⩾85 months were significantly associated with a higher TFR rate. Of the 22 patients with 0.0032% < BCR-ABL IS ⩽0.1%, 12 received IFN-α treatment. The median IFN-α therapy duration was nine (2, 18) months, and three patients eventually lost MMR. Three patients discontinued IFN-α after 2, 2.5, and 10 months, and maintained MMR for 9, 8, and 11 months after IFN discontinuation, respectively. Of the 10 patients not receiving IFN-α treatment, eight eventually lost MMR. The MR-free survival rate was significantly different between the patients treated with and those treated without IFN-α over 24 months (70.7% versus 15.0%, p = 0.002). Conclusion: These results indicate that after TKI discontinuation, IFN-α can be administered to patients with 0.0032% < BCR-ABL IS ⩽0.1%, which may help prevent MR.

As a new decentralized infrastructure and distributed computing paradigm, blockchain is of great significance to break through the “mutual trust problem” between statistical specialty and basic data providing departments, and between the upper and lower levels of statistical data reporting units, and further improve the quality of statistical work. This paper first briefly analyzes the problems existing in the current investment statistics business, and introduces the basic principles and characteristics of blockchain technology. This paper studies the idea and process optimization of the application of blockchain technology in investment statistics business, and expounds the specific application schemes of blockchain technology in different links, such as automatic data collection, automatic data verification, automatic report generation, and automatic index release. Finally, the expected effect of the application of blockchain technology in investment statistics business is analyzed.

In order to investigate the effect of ZnO nanoparticles (ZnONPs) on soil ecosystem in soil with added cellulose and lignin, five treatments were set up: cellulose, cellulose + ZnONPs, lignin, lignin + ZnONPs, and no addition. The soil respiration, microbial biomass, and the activities of soil enzymes were explored during a 56-day incubation time after the addition of ZnONPs. The results showed that when cellulose and lignin were added to the soil, the CO2 efflux increased by 90.9% and 18.2%, respectively, compared with the control soil. The microbial biomass carbon and the activity of peroxidase, polyphenol oxidase, β-glucosidase and cellulase were increased. Compared with the treatment with the addition of cellulose and lignin only, the exposure of ZnONPs increased the CO2 efflux, microbial biomass carbon, β-glucosidase and cellulase activities, but decreased the peroxidase and polyphenol oxidase activities. We concluded that the addition of cellulose and lignin to farmland soil increased respiration, microbial biomass and soil enzyme activity, but the degradation degree of cellulose was higher than lignin. The ZnONPs promote soil respiration, microbial biomass, and hydrolase activity throughout the culture period, but inhibited the activity of redox enzymes.

In order to study the application of light and simplified cultivation mode in straw returning field. In the experiment, two treatments of straw returning and non-straw returning were used under the light simplified cultivation mode, and the differences of tiller number, dry matter accumulation, leaf area index, chlorophyll and yield were studied. Field cultivation experiments were carried out with Jihong 9 and Jinongda 138. The results showed that the yields of Jihong 9 and Jinongda138 straw returning to the field under the light and simplified cultivation mode were 2.00% and 3.63% higher than those under the non-straw returning mode. The total grain number in the yield components increased by 3.35% and 11.60% respectively. Dry matter increased by 19.70% and 7.66% in mature period. The leaf area index (LAI) and SPAD value in the later period of straw returning were higher than those in the non-straw returning, and the number of effective tillers was lower. Light and simplified cultivation can be used as a new mode of rice high-yield cultivation under straw returning, which improves the total grain number, leaf area index, SPAD value and dry matter in the later stage, and increases rice yield. The yield advantage of Jinongda 138 under straw returning (SJ138) is more significant.
