The increased use of data analytics and machine learning algorithms enables better prediction of land values based on various factors such as soil quality, climate, and historical performance by processing large datasets. The primary objective of this paper is to underscore the significance of addressing the topic concerning the evaluation process of agricultural land. Concurrently, it seeks to accentuate the interconnectedness across various domains of study, encompassing strategic management, agronomy, ecology, agricultural practices, and agricultural policies. Advanced technologies such as satellite imagery, remote sensing, and Geographic Information System (GIS) tools are being integrated for more accurate and efficient land valuation. In the present study, a retrospective and descriptive bibliometric analysis using the Web of Science platform was conducted, identifying 1,630 papers on the "valuation of agricultural land" from the year 2000 to 2023, which were then analyzed with VOSviewer and Microsoft Excel to generate visual representations of keyword frequency over time. The paper reveals a notable increase in published articles, emphasizing their relevance due to their economic and financial impact, with a focus on environmental sciences and economics, confirming the topic's importance and its association with ecosystem services, land use change, and willingness to pay. Stockpile volume measurement is very important, especially in highway construction sites. Monitoring inventories, as well as keeping records of stockpiles, is one of the key elements in the success and optimizing the construction site works. Inventories in the case of construction sites are constantly changing; the raw material stored is on the one hand supplied by the suppliers and on the other hand transported and used on the site. Within this paper we aim to compare different methods of measuring and determining volumes. We also develop a workflow for UAV photogrammetric measurements and compare the volumes obtained with different specialized software. Using different software even on the same UAV data set, we obtained relatively similar results, the differences being due mainly to the different 3D modelling of the surfaces. To determine as precisely as possible highway construction sites, stockpile volumes the UAV photogrammetric method is the most precise in terms of the accuracy of the results obtained. This article aims to highlight the benefits of UAV photogrammetric measurements in addition to classical ones. It will also deal with the processing and integration of the point cloud, respectively the digital elevation model in topo-cadastral works. The main purpose of this paper is to compare the results obtained using the UAV photogrammetric measurements with the results obtained by classical methods. It will briefly present the classical measurements made with the total station. In the present project, the closed-circuit traverse and the supported on the endings traverse were made using known coordinate points. Determining the coordinates of the points used for the traverses was done by GNSS methods. The area on which the measurements were made is 67942m² and is covered by 31 determined station points. From these points, 13 were used as ground control points, respectively components of the aero-triangulation network and 17 points were used to control the obtained results by comparing their coordinates obtained by classical methods with those obtained by the UAV photogrammetric method. The paper analyzes the possibility to establish the coefficient of scale towards the total station scale triangulation network in the conduct of geodetic and topographic observations in the points with known coordinates (old points) or points whose coordinates we want to determine (new points). Dragan Valley Dam is located in Cluj County near Ciucea and is built on plots and blades in double arc. With a height of 120 m and a canopy length of 424 m, the dam is considered the fifth largest in the country. The paper aims to present the horizontal displacements of the tracking landmarks embedded in the downstream face of the dam and the vertical displacements of the landmarks located on the crest of the dam. In order to determine the horizontal displacements was created a micro-triangulation network in a local coordinate system, which has the X axis oriented on the direction downstream-upstream of the dam, and the Y axis with the direction on the left bank of the dam. The support network is formed of eleven pillars placed on the dam bedrock and sixty-nine tracking marks placed on the downstream of the dam. The altimetric network is formed of thirty-three leveling landmarks located on the dam crest and two fixed landmarks situated at the edges of the dam. The planimetric measurements were made with a Leica TS30 total station, and the altimetric measurements with Leica DNA 03, which provides an accuracy of 0.3 mm / 1km of double leveling. After processing the azimuthal measurements using the indirect measurements method and the statistical assumptions, the pilasters I, II and VII were considered as fixed stations. The maximum displacements were recorded at landmark R7 (-42.3 mm) and the maximum compaction was recorded at the landmark R33. The horizontal and vertical displacement values of the planimetric and altimetric landmarks, which were obtained after carrying out the topographical observations and their processing, falls within the allowable tolerances, which shows stability in the functionality of the dam. In this note was studied the soil moisture distribution at different depth and sites using the principal component analysis and SixPack free software. This method provides information used to emphasize the principal component of the soil moisture that allows characterizing all other soil moister samples at different depth and sites using principal component obtained following the singular value decomposition of the covariance matrix for the matrix that organize the initial sets of measurements. The paper treats the conversion of geographical coordinates into Stereographical 1970 coordinates. The transformation takes place in two distinct phases, which consist in transforming the geographic coordinates in rectangular coordinates on a tangent to the Krasovski ellipsoid in the projection pole and then the coordinates reduction of the tangent plan into the secant plan parallel to the tangent, located at a depth of 3.18 km. For checking the transformation, the inverse transformation is done, from rectangular coordinates in secant plan into rectangular coordinates in tangent plan and after into geographical coordinates. In this paper we build a geographical information system used to study the hydric erosion of Chinteni area from Cluj County. The geo-database of our GIS contain information about vegetation, soil profiles characteristics and soil moisture for the interest sites. Since 1976, within the hydrographic area of Chinteni Valley, district of Cluj, one carried out several experiments concerning the possibilities of stabilization and agricultural utilization of slide lands through land appropriation and agricultural crops. On an area of two hectares of slide lands, with an average of 2 - 3m of depth sliding, one had tested two variants of drainage. In order to record the degree of land displacement due to sliding one positioned 30 topographic landmarks. The experimental results show that by appropriating slide lands, as well as by applying specific crop technologies for slopes, a noticeable decrease of the horizontal and vertical land displacements were achieved in rather a short time. Gradually, the tendency of slide land towards a permanent stabilization becomes more evident and this is soon included in the general elastic equilibrium of slope to which it belongs. The article discusses a study which evaluated the use of micro-sprinkler and surface drip systems in the production of high-value lettuce. The lettuce varieties were placed within glass-covered solarium located at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, Romania. From 2004-2006, three levels of irrigation were established which yielded varying results. Based on these experiments, it is concluded that drip irrigation is more efficient in utilizing water compared to the use of micro-sprinklers.
