Multivariate time series anomaly detection has garnered significant attention in fields such as IT operations, finance, medicine, and industry. However, a key challenge lies in the fact that anomaly patterns often exhibit multi-scale temporal variations, which existing detection models often fail to capture effectively. This limitation significantly impacts detection accuracy. To address this issue, we propose the MFAM-AD model, which combines the strengths of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and bi-directional long short-term memory (Bi-LSTM). The MFAM-AD model is designed to enhance anomaly detection accuracy by seamlessly integrating temporal dependencies and multi-scale spatial features. Specifically, it utilizes parallel convolutional layers to extract features across different scales, employing an attention mechanism for optimal feature fusion. Additionally, Bi-LSTM is leveraged to capture time-dependent information, reconstruct the time series and enable accurate anomaly detection based on reconstruction errors. In contrast to existing algorithms that struggle with inadequate feature fusion or are confined to single-scale feature analysis, MFAM-AD effectively addresses the unique challenges of multivariate time series anomaly detection. Experimental results on five publicly available datasets demonstrate the superiority of the proposed model. Specifically, on the datasets SMAP, MSL, and SMD1-1, our MFAM-AD model has the second-highest F1 score after the current state-of-the-art DCdetector model. On the datasets NIPS-TS-SWAN and NIPS-TS-GECCO, the F1 scores of MAFM-AD are 0.046 (6.2%) and 0.09 (21.3%) higher than those of DCdetector, respectively(the value ranges from 0 to 1). Multivariate time series anomaly detection is a crucial data mining technique with a wide range of applications in areas such as IT applications. Currently, the majority of anomaly detection methods for time series data rely on unsupervised approaches due to the rarity of anomaly labels. However, in real-world scenarios, obtaining a limited number of anomaly labels is feasible and affordable. Effective usage of these labels can offer valuable insights into the temporal characteristics of anomalies and play a pivotal role in guiding anomaly detection efforts. To improve the performance of multivariate time series anomaly detection, we proposed a novel deep learning model named EDD (Encoder-Decoder-Discriminator) that leverages limited anomaly samples. The EDD model innovatively integrates a graph attention network with long short term memory (LSTM) to extract spatial and temporal features from multivariate time series data. This integrated approach enables the model to capture complex patterns and dependencies within the data. Additionally, the model skillfully maps series data into a latent space, utilizing a carefully crafted loss function to cluster normal data tightly in the latent space while dispersing abnormal data randomly. This innovative design results in distinct probability distributions for normal and abnormal data in the latent space, enabling precise identification of anomalous data. To evaluate the performance of our EDD model, we conducted extensive experimental validation across three diverse datasets. The results demonstrate the significant superiority of our model in multivariate time series anomaly detection. Specifically, the average F1-Score of our model outperformed the second-best method by 2.7% and 73.4% in both evaluation approaches, respectively, highlighting its superior detection capabilities. These findings validate the effectiveness of our proposed EDD model in leveraging limited anomaly samples for accurate and robust anomaly detection in multivariate time series data. In the context of sustainable development, energy-saving renovation of existing buildings can not only effectively reduce energy consumption but also improvement the residential comfort and office environments. This study proposes an optimization method for building energy-saving renovation based on automated machine learning and the NSGA-III algorithm, aiming at efficiently and accurately identifying the best energy-saving renovation schemes. The results showed that automated machine learning could provide a predictive model for multi-objective optimization analysis in a relatively short training time, with an average prediction accuracy of over 95%. And the Stacked Ensemble algorithm and Gradient Boosting Machine algorithm perform the best among all the algorithms considered in this study. Additionally, climate change significantly affects the energy-saving benefits and thermal comfort performance of renovation measures, thereby altering the choice of optimal schemes. The final renovation schemes obtained through the NSGA-III and entropy weight TOPSIS method can achieve an energy saving rate of 22.06% to 26.48% under typical climate scenarios, while also improving thermal comfort time by 31.87% to 43.73%. In future climate scenarios, an energy saving rate of 32.73% to 33.02% and a thermal comfort time of 40.20% to 42.29% can be achieved. Combining these two technologies can quickly and effectively find the best balance among energy consumption, whole life cycle cost, and thermal comfort time. As one of the most common cause of cancer death in the world, lung cancer causes approximately 1.6 million deaths annually. Among them, NSCLC accounts for approximately 85% of patients in whole lung cancer patients. Ginsenoside Rg1 has been confirmed to play an important role in various diseases including cancer. As one of miRNAs, miR-126 closely involves in pathogenesis of the several types of cancers including colorectal, prostate, bladder and gastric cancer, and so on. Thus, the present study aims to investigate effects of the Ginsenoside Rg1 on NSCLC and underlying mechanism. In the study, two lung cancer cell lines including A549 and H1650 were used. It was found that expression of miR-126 was decreased in PBMC of NSCLC patients compared to healthy control. Expression of miR-126 was decreased in cancer tissue compared to paracancerous tissues in NSCLC patients. Importantly, it was found Ginsenoside Rg1 could inhibit growth of lung cancer cells. miR-126 KD remarkably increased the expression of apoptosis genes including caspase 3 and caspase 9 and decreased cell viability in lung cancer cells including A549 and H1650 cells. Interesting, in silico analysis indicated that miR-126 could target PI3K signaling pathway, which was confirmed by WB assay. KD of PI3KR2 compromised promotion of miR-126 on cell apoptosis. Similarly, it was found that KD of mTOR compromised promotion of miR-126 on cell apoptosis. Inhibition of Ginsenoside Rg1 on growth of lung cancer cells was through miR-126 and mTOR. The evaluation of benefits derived from energy-saving renovation schemes plays a crucial role in the implementation of energy policies. Hospital buildings, due to their specific nature, require energy-saving renovations that place a greater emphasis on enhancing air quality and providing occupants with a comfortable environment. This requirement significantly sets them apart from other types of buildings, necessitating the consideration of investors' preferences when making decisions regarding renovation plans. This study proposes a multi-criteria decision-making method to aid investors in selecting the most optimal renovation strategy for hospital wards, taking into account factors such as energy efficiency, economic viability, and thermal comfort. To demonstrate the practicality of the proposed method, a case study was conducted in a hospital ward. The results indicate that green roofs yield the highest economic benefits, with an expected net present value of 47,359.38 yuan and an anticipated payback period of only 5.3 years. The replacement of high-performance windows is not financially feasible. However, upon simultaneous consideration of other renovation measures, the replacement of high-performance windows becomes a viable option due to investors' willingness to invest in energy-efficient and comfortable solutions, even if the economic benefits of such a scheme are not optimal. This study offers a comprehensive decision-making approach for energy-saving renovation strategies in hospital wards, providing valuable insights to investors in selecting the most suitable energy-saving renovation plan. Wheat is the most widely grown crop in the world, and its yield is closely related to global food security. The number of ears is important for wheat breeding and yield estimation. Therefore, automated wheat ear counting techniques are essential for breeding high-yield varieties and increasing grain yield. However, all existing methods require position-level annotation for training, implying that a large amount of labor is required for annotation, limiting the application and development of deep learning technology in the agricultural field. To address this problem, we propose a count-supervised multiscale perceptive wheat counting network (CSNet, count-supervised network), which aims to achieve accurate counting of wheat ears using quantity information. In particular, in the absence of location information, CSNet adopts MLP-Mixer to construct a multiscale perception module with a global receptive field that implements the learning of small target attention maps between wheat ear features. We conduct comparative experiments on a publicly available global wheat head detection dataset, showing that the proposed count-supervised strategy outperforms existing position-supervised methods in terms of mean absolute error (MAE) and root mean square error (RMSE). This superior performance indicates that the proposed approach has a positive impact on improving ear counts and reducing labeling costs, demonstrating its great potential for agricultural counting tasks. The aberrant expression of microRNA is an important regulator in the tumorigenesis of non-small cell lung cancer. In this study, we found that miR-499a-5p was notably downregulated in non-small cell lung cancer tissues and cell lines. Decreased miR-499a-5p expression was associated with larger tumor size and higher TNM stage. Non-small cell lung cancer patients with low expression of miR-499a-5p exhibited a worse overall survival rate compared with those patients with high expression of miR-499a-5p. Ectopic expression of miR-499a-5p significantly suppressed non-small cell lung cancer cell proliferation and colony formation, and hampered cell cycle at G0/G1 phase in vitro . Conversely, knockdown of miR-499a-5p promoted non-small cell lung cancer cell proliferation and colony formation, and induced cell cycle at S phase. Furthermore, in vivo experiments revealed that overexpression of miR-499a-5p inhibited the tumor formation in a nude mouse xenograft model. Mechanistic studies showed that fibroblast growth factor 9 was a direct target gene of miR-499a-5p. miR-499a-5p directly bound to fibroblast growth factor 9 mRNA 3'-UTR, therefore led to the reduction in fibroblast growth factor 9 protein expression. Finally, rescue experiments confirmed that silencing of fibroblast growth factor 9 partially reversed the phenotypes of miR-499a-5p knockdown on non-small cell lung cancer cell proliferation. In conclusion, our study demonstrates that downregulation of miR-499a-5p predicts a worse prognosis of patients with non-small cell lung cancer and restrains the tumorigenesis by targeting fibroblast growth factor 9. These findings may provide valuable clues for the future development of therapeutic strategies against this cancer.
