Background. The ability to adequately respond to various emotional situations is vital for law enforcement officers to work effectively in peacetime. In times of war, the importance of emotional control increases. Material and methods. A survey (in Google forms) of cadets of the Kyiv Institute of the National Guard of Ukraine (n=282) was conducted. Depending on whether they played sports, the respondents were divided into 2 groups (n=171 and n=111, respectively). Spielberger's method was advocated. And the Courtlaud Emotional Control Scale. Results. The anxiety levels of athlete cadets and those who had stopped regular training did not differ. An average level of emotional control was recorded. The anxiety control score was close to low. Significant differences were found in the anxiety and depression control scores of cadets who regularly performed physical exercise and those who did not participate in sports. Conclusions. At the beginning of the war, the level of anxiety among cadets was high. Among cadets who play sports, there was no high level of anxiety control, aggression, or depression, as expected from athletes. This can be explained by the different intensity of emotions and their control, as well as the insufficient duration of sports training among cadets. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Information on features necessary for productive professional work is interesting for both scientists and employers. Single systematized contradictory data don't allow to improve training programs, make effective training programs for IT-specialists for productive professional work. Goal - identify critical important, important and desirable professional qualities for IT-specialists, according to the data of literature determine the most important means of their effective development. Methods, participants, and organization. The study participants were 142 students who study at the university in the 3rd year and have experience in the specialty "information technology" for at least 2 years. Students evaluated soft-skills (on a 4-point system) by the degree of importance for the successful work of IT-professionals. The results were calculated in%, and the reliability of the discrepancies between neighbouring groups of indicators was determined using the ?2 criterion. Results. It has been determined that emotional intelligence is a crucial quality for IT professionals, as well as leading and desired skills. Whereas the leading skills are studying ability and strive for selfeducation and self-improvement; independent decision making and problem solving; establishing communication and team-working; creativity, attention to details, and adaptiveness. An adequate level of physical conditions and leadership are regarded as desirable. The level of importance of psychophysical parameters for IT professional's work efficiency has been determined. It has been determined, that means of physical activities as mental fitness (hatha yoga, Bodyflex and Pilates), sports games (and other measures for promote agility) have worked well in the development of cognitive qualities of students. To form professionally important skills, IT-specialists have been recommended to use aids to promote agility and mental fitness, to reinforce the workload on physical education sessions, increase the number of academic classes on physical education up to 3 per week, or supplement academic activities with sports. Introduction: This study aims to outline indicators of physical literacy for Ukrainian student youth, taking into account current international experience and concepts and meeting national specificities of the organization of physical education in higher educational institutions of Ukraine. Methods: 82 individuals were invited to participate in study (face-to-face meeting). The 2-round Delphi method as approach for facilitating group interaction aimed to structure communication process was used to generalize the knowledge and receiving the consensus of expert opinion. Results: The top five of the most important indicators of physical literacy were physical health, physical activity level, participation in fitness activities, ability to conduct morning hygienic gymnastics, physical training break, physical training, gymnastics before classes, individual training session, ability to perform preventive exercises in case of illness. The indicators identified by the experts can be grouped into three separate domains: functional, motivational, cognitive and behavioral. Conclusion: The selected indicators are contextually sensitive for the Ukrainian population. We prioritize approaches that have already been used in daily practice in Ukraine. The set of selected indicators demonstrates that they reflect the structural hierarchy of the "physical literacy" construction. The selected indicators, in particular, correspond to the goals of students' education, they take into account the list of necessary knowledge, skills and abilities in accordance with the requirements of the Ukrainian program, consider motivation of students, awareness of active lifestyle and sufficient level of physical strain importance for health. The competence in physical education (PE) is an assessment of a person's ability to lead a physically active lifestyle. The lack of an integrated approach to assessing the success of student’s training in PE does not allow a systematic, transparent and effective monitoring of the dynamics of the development of the personality of a competitive specialist, establishing the causes of problems and developing forecasts for the future. The goal of study was to develop and justify a system for assessing the competence of PE of students studying at universities and colleges. A survey of experts (N=82) was conducted to find out the importance of each of the structural elements of competence. The validity of proposed approaches was investigated. Three domains (“Movement Activity and Attitude to It,” “Physical Health and Fitness,” “Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities”) were distinguished in the structure of competence in PE, each of which was divided into 2–4 components. Designed assessment method covers all structural parts of the competence in PE, the goals of student learning, takes into account the list of necessary knowledge and skills in accordance with the requirements of the program, provides the formation of motivation for an active lifestyle, and maintains a level of physical activity sufficient for health. Developed method allows to determine the overall assessment of the formation of competence in PE, as well as a separate component, it gives an opportunity to calculate “critical” components, take into account interests and needs of students, teachers, and university / college administration. Coronavirus Anxiety Scale (CAS) is a widely used measure that captures somatic symptoms of coronavirus-related anxiety. In a large-scale collaboration spanning 60 countries (Ntotal = 21,513), we examined the CAS's measurement invariance and assessed the convergent validity of CAS scores in relation to the fear of COVID-19 (FCV-19S) and the satisfaction with life (SWLS-3) scales. We utilized both conventional exact invariance tests and alignment procedures, with results revealing that the single-factor model fit the data well in almost all countries. Partial scalar invariance was supported in a subset of 56 countries. To ensure the robustness of results, given the unbalanced samples, we employed resampling techniques both with and without replacement and found the results were more stable in larger samples. The alignment procedure demonstrated a high degree of measurement invariance with 9% of the parameters exhibiting noninvariance. We also conducted simulations of alignment using the parameters estimated in the current model. Findings demonstrated reliability of the means but indicated challenges in estimating the latent variances. Strong positive correlations between CAS and FCV-19S estimated with all three different approaches were found in most countries. Correlations of CAS and SWLS-3 were weak and negative but significantly differed from zero in several countries. Overall, the study provided support for the measurement invariance of the CAS and offered evidence of its convergent validity while also highlighting issues with variance estimation. Public Significance Statement: We found that the widely used Coronavirus Anxiety Scale is generally suitable for cross-national research. Given that its comparability across contexts was previously questioned, the present study provides evidence for invariance, making international comparisons of coronavirus-related anxiety possible.
