An insight regarding few of the experiences during video games playing activity is still fuzzy. This paper presents an extensive empirical study that analyzes the experiences of 100 participants (i.e. 25 children, younger adults, older adults, and elders each) during brain games play. This concludes a number of significant correlations among the diverse kinds of players' experiences (i.e. engagement, enjoyment, anxiety, usability, adaptability, and noninvasiveness). It is further identified by the study that the similarities and differences exist among the experiences of children, younger adults, older adults, and elders. Consequently, observations of the presented study provide an insight to successfully predict behavioral trends of the players during brain games play (i.e. in 5-point assessment sphere), which leads to narrow down the complexity of user feedback process for the respective game genre.

Background: Cementless metaphyseal filling stems rely on fixation in the medial-to-lateral and anterior-to-posterior (AP) planes. The purpose of this preclinical study was to develop Insignia, a new metaphyseal filling system to match the anatomy of the proximal femur, and then compare it to clinically successful stems in multiple simulations. Methods: In this preclinical study, the geometry of the proximal femur in the AP plane among 1321 healthy subjects was evaluated using computed tomography. This data was then used to design insignia. Preclinical studies were performed to compare the broaching effort required to prepare a canal using this system, assess the reliability of seating heights for the stem, and compare in vitro micromotion testing of the stem under simulated stair climb activity. Results: The proximal femur decreased approximately 50% in the AP plane spanning 20 mm above the lesser trochanter to 30 mm below the lesser trochanter. Additional bench top testing was performed, and the new stem system was found to demonstrate significantly reduced broaching effort (average 6 vs 29 hits, P-value = .000), reliable seating heights on stem placement, and 70% less proximal micromotion on 10,000-cyclic testing (P < .05) compared to another clinically successful metaphyseal filling stem. Conclusions: The AP dimension of the proximal femur decreases nearly 50% throughout its length. Metaphyseal filling stems that match the AP anatomy of the proximal femur may require fewer hits during broaching, yield reproducible seating heights, and reduce micromotion on cyclic testing.

The authors have measured the health expenditure-induced removable poverty in India using nationally representative consumer expenditure surveys of three quinquennial rounds conducted by the National Sample Survey Organization (NSSO). This study has also focused on the reflections of Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), the world's largest Government-funded health insurance scheme, on these poverty rates in the country. The study has used headcount, payment gap, and concentration index to measure the economic burden and impoverishment impact of out-of-pocket (OOP) health expenditure. The analysis shows that the incidence and depth of poverty are substantially understated because of overlooking OOP health expenditure in the country's standard poverty measure. Outpatient care contributes almost four times more than inpatient care to health expenditure-induced impoverishment in India, though this care has not been covered in the AB-PMJAY. Muslims, among all religious groups, Scheduled Castes among social groups, and casual labourers among different household types are more vulnerable to OOP health expenditure-induced removable poverty in the country. Poverty, in general, has dropped significantly, but the share of health expenditure-induced poverty in general poverty has increased substantially. It has risen considerably in rural areas and among India's most vulnerable sections of society in the past 20 years. We emphasised that universal health insurance coverage is needed in India. Implementing comprehensive health insurance schemes that cover both inpatient and outpatient care can help alleviate the financial burden of healthcare expenses on households and contribute to reducing poverty rates.

The Metaverse has been the centre of attraction for educationists for quite some time. This field got renewed interest with the announcement of social media giant Facebook as it rebranding and positioning it as Meta. While several studies conducted literature reviews to summarize the findings related to the Metaverse in general, no study to the best of our knowledge focused on systematically summarizing the finding related to the Metaverse in education. To cover this gap, this study conducts a systematic literature review of the Metaverse in education. It then applies both content and bibliometric analysis to reveal the research trends, focus, and limitations of this research topic. The obtained findings reveal the research gap in lifelogging applications in educational Metaverse. The findings also show that the design of Metaverse in education has evolved over generations, where generation Z is more targeted with artificial intelligence technologies compared to generation X or Y. In terms of learning scenarios, there have been very few studies focusing on mobile learning, hybrid learning, and micro learning. Additionally, no study focused on using the Metaverse in education for students with disabilities. The findings of this study provide a roadmap of future research directions to be taken into consideration and investigated to enhance the adoption of the Metaverse in education worldwide, as well as to enhance the learning and teaching experiences in the Metaverse.

Background: Numerous cementless stems are available to maximize implant stability, fit, and survivorship in total hip arthroplasty. Recently, a new metaphyseal-filling triple-taper collared stem was designed using femoral morphology data obtained from over 1300 computed tomography scans. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the radiographic fit and fill of this new stem in the coronal and sagittal dimensions. Methods: In this retrospective review, postoperative radiographs of patients receiving this new stem were analyzed in accordance with previously published fit and fill analyses. All radiographs were taken 6 weeks postoperatively. Means and standard deviations were reported for all fit and fill parameters. Results: Fifty-nine hips were analyzed from 55 patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty. The coronal proximal fill was 85.02 ± 8.06%, and coronal distal fill was 75.21 ± 9.71%. The sagittal proximal fill was 86.51 ± 8.77%, and sagittal distal fill was 59.17 ± 8.66%. Mean calcar collar coverage was 80.64 ± 19.6% and all patients had full seating of the collar. Six cases (10.2%) had a collar length greater than the calcar length, with a mean collar overhang of 0.7 ± 0.4 mm. Conclusions: This new stem demonstrated significant proximal fill in both the coronal and sagittal planes and validates the design intent of this implant. This is the first study to evaluate sagittal fit and fill of a femoral stem. Long-term follow-up is required to understand the clinical impact these fit and fill characteristics may have on patients’ long-term outcomes.

An improvement in cognitive performance through brain games play is implicit yet progressive. It is necessary to explore factors that potentially accelerate this improvement process. Like various other significant yet unexplored aspects, it is equally essential to establish a performative (fusion of accuracy and efficiency) insight about players' cognition (memory, vision, and analytics) among the different modes of brain games. This paper presents empirical research that investigates the impact of different modes of brain games (single vs. multiplayer) upon the players' cognitive performance. An accumulated result of the research revealed that the cognitive performance in memory stimulating and visual activity-oriented brain games play significantly boosts during multiplayer mode. Similarly, cognitive accuracy in analytical brain gameplay also increases during the multiplayer mode; however, it's rather inefficient. In addition, both the components of cognitive performance in single-player mode are reported as negatively correlated, while in the multiplayer mode it's rather contrary.

The swift pace of socioeconomic development and climatic change have put significant strain on the quality of water resources. While, the bulk availability of agro‐based materials arising from nature and agricultural practices has paved the way for researchers to utilize them in eradicating toxic industrial pollutants such as dyes, heavy metals, phenolic compounds, pesticides, etc. by using them as adsorbents. In the area of pollution remediation, inventive technologies have been developing. The adsorption technique stands out among the other wastewater treatment methods as it is simple, easy, efficient, and cost‐effective. The agro‐based adsorbents not only have great potential for the treatment of polluted water but also their use in this area contributes to minimizing natural waste. The agro‐based adsorbent can be employed in its original raw form or after undergoing simple processes such as drying, grinding, and carbonization. Moreover, these adsorbents are typically modified physically or chemically to change their surface properties and improve their adsorption efficiency. The low‐cost agro adsorbents have shown efficient adsorption capacities towards removing various organic and hazardous water pollutants. With a few exceptions, the majority of adsorbents have demonstrated heavy metals, dyes and phenol removal efficiencies exceeding 90 %. This review summarises the available information and strategies for using agro‐based adsorbents to eliminate hazardous water pollutants. In modern healthcare, providers increasingly use cloud services to store and share electronic medical records. However, traditional cloud hosting, which depends on intermediaries, poses risks to privacy and security, including inadequate control over access, data auditing, and tracking data origins. Additionally, current schemes face significant limitations such as scalability concerns, high computational overhead, practical implementation challenges, and issues with interoperability and data standardization. Unauthorized data access by cloud providers further exacerbates these concerns. Blockchain technology, known for its secure and decentralized nature, offers a solution by enabling secure data auditing in sharing systems. This research integrates blockchain into healthcare for efficient record management. We proposed a blockchain-based method for secure EHR management and integrated Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (CP-ABE) for fine-grained access control. The proposed algorithm combines blockchain and smart contracts with a cloud-based healthcare Service Management System (SMS) to ensure secure and accessible EHRs. Smart contracts automate key management, encryption, and decryption processes, enhancing data security and integrity. The blockchain ledger authenticates data transactions, while the cloud provides scalability. The SMS manages access requests, enhancing resource allocation and response times. A dual authentication system confirms patient keys before granting data access, with failed attempts leading to access revocation and incident logging. Our analyses show that this algorithm significantly improves the security and efficiency of health data exchanges. By combining blockchain's decentralized structure with the cloud's scalability, this approach significantly improves EHR security protocols in modern healthcare setting. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
