Abstract: Abstract We report measurements of the e + e − → B B ¯ $$ B\overline{B} $$ , B B ¯ ∗ $$ B{\overline{B}}^{\ast } $$ , and B ∗ B ¯ ∗ $$ {B}^{\ast }{\overline{B}}^{\ast } $$ cross sections at four energies, 10653, 10701, 10746 and 10805 MeV, using data collected by the Belle II experiment. We reconstruct one B meson in a large number of hadronic final states and use its momentum to identify the production process. In the first 2 – 5 MeV above B ∗ B ¯ ∗ $$ {B}^{\ast }{\overline{B}}^{\ast } $$ threshold, the e + e − → B ∗ B ¯ ∗ $$ {B}^{\ast }{\overline{B}}^{\ast } $$ cross section increases rapidly. This may indicate the presence of a pole close to the threshold.

5. Calculated Assessment of Crack Development Under Cyclic Loading of the Plate Using the Parameters of Dispersed Damage of the Material

Abstract: The reliable operation of structures and energy machines is related to ensuring thermal strength and durability of their elements and assemblies. Currently, a difficult situation has developed in the modern energy market; the equipment works in difficult conditions and, as a result, it is operated in variable modes, which causes accelerated wear of the resource. Ensuring the reliable use of power machines and structures of various complexity requires a calculated assessment of the thermal strength and durability of their elements, which is based on the application of new methods and calculation models taking into account a number of important factors, including damage, heterogeneity of material properties, the influence of non-stationary temperature fields and the presence of cracks. This paper is devoted to the development of the methodology for crack growth calculations in plate elements of structures under cyclic loading in an elastic-plastic setting using the concept of the accumulation of dispersed damage in the material. At the top of the crack, the processes of sign-changing elastic-plastic deformation and crack resistance of the material are simulated using data from fatigue tests of smooth samples. The thermal stress state of the structure at different loading modes is determined using finite element software for several fixed crack depths. The kinetics of a surface crack in a plate, from both edges of which cracks grow symmetrically under non-zero cyclic loading by tensile stresses, is considered in the paper. Elastic-plastic problems were solved for the cases of plane deformation and plane stress state, the amplitudes of deformation intensities and the number of loading cycles were obtained depending on the depth of crack growth. It was established that the type of stress state significantly affects the destruction of the material. Evaluation of crack development using the concept of accumulation of dispersed damage in the material has advantages for flat and axisymmetric problems, since it has no limitations for the size of the plastic zone and small crack depth. Abstract: Abstract We report results from a study of B ± → DK ± decays followed by D decaying to the CP-even final state K + K − and CP-odd final state K S 0 π 0 $$ {K}_S^0{\pi}^0 $$ , where D is an admixture of D 0 and D ¯ 0 $$ {\overline{D}}^0 $$ states. These decays are sensitive to the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa unitarity-triangle angle ϕ 3. The results are based on a combined analysis of the final data set of 772 × 106 B B ¯ $$ B\overline{B} $$ pairs collected by the Belle experiment and a data set of 198 × 106 B B ¯ $$ B\overline{B} $$ pairs collected by the Belle II experiment, both in electron-positron collisions at the Υ(4S) resonance. We measure the CP asymmetries to be A $$ \mathcal{A} $$ CP+ = (+12.5 ± 5.8 ± 1.4)% and A $$ \mathcal{A} $$ CP− = (−16.7 ± 5.7 ± 0.6)%, and the ratios of branching fractions to be R $$ \mathcal{R} $$ CP+ = 1.164 ± 0.081 ± 0.036 and R $$ \mathcal{R} $$ CP− = 1.151 ± 0.074 ± 0.019. The first contribution to the uncertainties is statistical, and the second is systematic. The asymmetries A $$ \mathcal{A} $$ CP+ and A $$ \mathcal{A} $$ CP− have similar magnitudes and opposite signs; their difference corresponds to 3.5 standard deviations. From these values we calculate 68.3% confidence intervals of (8.5 ° < ϕ 3 < 16.5 ° ) or (84.5 ° < ϕ 3 < 95.5 ° ) or (163.3 ° < ϕ 3 < 171.5 ° ) and 0.321 < r B < 0.465.

Abstract: The present work reports on the determination of localization of T-DNA insertion in Arabidopsis thaliana SALK_146824C line. The line is characterized as deficient in GDP-l-galactose phosphorylase 1 (VTC2) gene encodes a protein involved in ascorbate biosynthesis. Primer pairs allow to distinguishing SALK_146824C from wild type plants and to the exact localization of the insertion were designed used. Sanger sequencing confirmed the location of the T-DNA insertion in the sixth exon of the gene. RT-PCR data shows nearly undetectable levels of VTC2 mRNA expression level in SALK_146824C line as compared with wild type plants of Columbia-0 line. Localization of the primer pair upstream and downstream the T-DNA insertion did not affect the expression values.

Abstract: Abstract Background and aim Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) functions not only in the brain but also in peripheral tissues such as the liver. Genetic factors determine the development of alcohol dependence and somatic consequences of chronic intoxication, especially liver cirrhosis. The BDNF gene polymorphisms are associated with alcohol dependence; however, their relationship with the development of alcohol-related liver cirrhosis (ALC) has not yet been established. This study evaluated the association between single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) within the BDNF gene and liver cirrhosis in heavy drinkers. Methods BDNF-related SNPs rs925946, rs6265, rs10835210, rs7103411, and rs75945125 were determined using real-time PCR in heavy drinkers with and without liver cirrhosis. Single SNPs and defined haplotypes within the BDNF gene were tested for association with ALC. Results According to both codominant and recessive genetic models, carriers of the rs925946 TT genotype have an elevated risk of liver cirrhosis development with odds ratios (confidence intervals) 6.287 (1.286–30.738) and 6.321 (1.317–30.348), respectively. BDNF SNPs rs6265, rs10835210, rs7103411, and rs75945125 do not associate with risk of ALC. One block of haplotypes consisting of rs10835210 and rs7103411 demonstrated linkage disequilibrium (D′ = 1 and r 2 = 0.228). The revealed haplotypes do not associate with the development of liver cirrhosis in alcohol heavy drinkers. Conclusion Thus, the BDNF rs925946 SNP is associated with the risk of ALC in heavy drinkers. Future investigations of the BDNF gene-related genetic markers of ALC will help to objectively assess the risk and severity of liver damage and correct the corresponding therapy.

Abstract: Condensable vapors, including highly oxygenated organic molecules (HOMs), govern secondary organic aerosol formation and thereby impact the quantity, composition, and properties (e.g., toxicity) of aerosol particles. These vapors are mainly formed in the atmosphere through the oxidation of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Urban environments contain a variety of VOCs from both anthropogenic and biogenic sources, as well as other species, for instance nitrogen oxides (NOx), that can greatly influence the formation pathways of condensable vapors like HOMs. During the last decade, our understanding of HOM composition and formation has increased dramatically, with most experiments performed in forests or in heavily polluted urban areas. However, studies on the main sources for condensable vapors and secondary organic aerosols (SOAs) in biogenically influenced urban areas, such as suburbs or small cities, have been limited. Here, we studied the HOM composition, measured with two nitrate-based chemical ionization mass spectrometers and analyzed using positive matrix factorization (PMF), during late spring at two locations in Helsinki, Finland. Comparing the measured concentrations at a street canyon site and a nearby urban background station, we found a strong influence of NOx on the HOM formation at both stations, in agreement with previous studies conducted in urban areas. Even though both stations are dominated by anthropogenic VOCs, most of the identified condensable vapors originated from biogenic precursors. This implies that in Helsinki anthropogenic activities mainly influence HOM formation by the effect of NOx on the biogenic VOC oxidation. At the urban background station, we found condensable vapors formed from two biogenic VOC groups (monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes), while at the street canyon, the only identified biogenic HOM precursor was monoterpenes. At the street canyon, we also observed oxidation products of aliphatic VOCs, which were not observed at the urban background station. The only factors that clearly correlate (temporally and composition-wise) between the two stations contained monoterpene-derived dimers. This suggests that HOM composition and formation mechanisms are strongly dependent on localized emissions and the oxidative environment in these biogenically influenced urban areas, and they can also change considerably within distances of 1 km within the urban environment. This further suggests that studies should be careful when extrapolating single-point measurements in an urban setting to be representative of district or city scales.

We use the full data set of the Belle experiment, containing 772 × 106 B B ¯ $$ B\overline{B} $$ pairs, and data from the Belle II experiment, containing 387 × 106 B B ¯ $$ B\overline{B} $$ pairs, both collected in electron-positron collisions at the Υ(4S) resonance. Our results provide model-independent information on the unitarity triangle angle ϕ 3.

24. Fast High-Resolution pKa Spectrotitrimetry for Quantification of Surface Functional Groups of Retisols

Abstract: Potentiometric titration in a fast and simultaneously high-resolution modality was proposed for the identification and quantification of protolytic groups of variable strength at the surface of primary soil particles. The method is implemented by titrimetric data processing as multicomponent spectra (pKa spectrotitrimetry). Due to the high resolution, the error of acidity-constant assessment (3–5%) is lower, compared to existing approaches; due to the fast titration, the effect of soil hydrolysis is minimized. The soil profiles for acidic Retisols (podzolic soils)—under a spruce crown and in the intercrown space—were studied. These soils, which have similar bulk properties and genesis but developed under different plant covers, were distinguished by pKa spectral features at 4–5; 5.5–6.5; 6.5–8.5; 7.5–8.5; and 9–10, as well as total group concentrations. Differences in acidic and basic-group distribution (carboxyl groups, amorphous aluminosilicates, carbonate species, amino groups, soluble (poly)phenolic compounds, phospholipids) and Al and Fe complex compounds within the same soil profiles and between two Retisols were found and quantified. The acidity constants and group concentrations found by pKa spectrotitrimetry were compared with conventional soil-composition indicators (total organic carbon, oxalate-soluble Fe and Al, and phosphorus), using principal component analysis. The main correlations are between the concentrations of oxalate-soluble Al and groups with pKa values of 5.0–6.5 and 8.5; oxalate-soluble Fe and pKa values of 9.0–10.0; and P2O5 and pKa values of 4.0–6.0 and 6.5–8.5. The method provides a set of major acidity values without a priori information on a soil sample and can be used for screening and identifying similar soils.

Abstract: Abstract We report the first measurement of the inclusive e + e − → b b ¯ $$ b\overline{b} $$ → D s ± $$ {D}_s^{\pm } $$ X and e + e − → b b ¯ $$ b\overline{b} $$ → D 0 / D ¯ 0 $$ {\overline{D}}^0 $$ X cross sections in the energy range from 10.63 to 11.02 GeV. Based on these results, we determine σ(e + e − → B s 0 B ¯ s 0 $$ {B}_s^0{\overline{B}}_s^0 $$ X) and σ(e + e − → B B ¯ $$ B\overline{B} $$ X) in the same energy range. We measure the fraction of B s 0 $$ {B}_s^0 $$ events at Υ(10860) to be f s = ( 22.0 − 2.1 + 2.0 $$ {22.0}_{-2.1}^{+2.0} $$ )%. We determine also the ratio of the B s 0 $$ {B}_s^0 $$ inclusive branching fractions B $$ \mathcal{B} $$ ( B s 0 $$ {B}_s^0 $$ → D 0 / D ¯ 0 $$ {\overline{D}}^0 $$ X)/ B $$ \mathcal{B} $$ ( B s 0 $$ {B}_s^0 $$ → D s ± $$ {D}_s^{\pm } $$ X) = 0.416 ± 0.018 ± 0.092. The results are obtained using the data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e + e − collider.

26. Molecular rearrangement of bicyclic peroxy radicals is a key route to aerosol from aromatics

Abstract: Abstract The oxidation of aromatics contributes significantly to the formation of atmospheric aerosol. Using toluene as an example, we demonstrate the existence of a molecular rearrangement channel in the oxidation mechanism. Based on both flow reactor experiments and quantum chemical calculations, we show that the bicyclic peroxy radicals (BPRs) formed in OH-initiated aromatic oxidation are much less stable than previously thought, and in the case of the toluene derived ipso-BPRs, lead to aerosol-forming low-volatility products with up to 9 oxygen atoms on sub-second timescales. Similar results are predicted for ipso-BPRs formed from many other aromatic compounds. This reaction class is likely a key route for atmospheric aerosol formation, and including the molecular rearrangement of BPRs may be vital for accurate chemical modeling of the atmosphere.

30. Effects of the super-powerful tropospheric western Pacific phenomenon of September–October 2018 on the ionosphere over China: results from oblique sounding

Abstract: Doppler measurements at oblique propagation paths from the city of Harbin, the People's Republic of China (PRC), to 10 high-frequency (HF) radio broadcast stations in the PRC, Japan, Mongolia, and the Republic of Korea captured the response in the ionosphere to the activity of the super typhoon, Typhoon Kong-rey, from 30 September to 6 October 2018. The Harbin Engineering University coherent software-defined radio system generates the database containing the complex amplitudes of the radio signals that have been acquired along 14 propagation paths since 2018. The complex amplitudes are used for calculating the temporal dependences of the Doppler spectra and signal amplitudes, and the Doppler spectra are used to plot the Doppler shift as a function of time, fD(t), for all rays. The scientific objectives of this study are to reveal the possible perturbations caused by the activity of Typhoon Kong-rey and to estimate the magnitudes of wave parameters of the ionospheric plasma and radio signals. The amplitudes, fDa, of the Doppler shift variations were observed to noticeably increase (factor of ∼2–3) on 1–2 and 5–6 October 2018, while the 20–120 min periods, T, of the Doppler shift variations suggest that the wavelike disturbances in the ionosphere are caused by atmospheric gravity waves. The periods and amplitudes of quasi-sinusoidal variations in the Doppler shift, which have been determined for all propagation paths, may be used to estimate the amplitudes, δNa, of quasi-sinusoidal variations in the electron density. Thus, T≈20 min and fDa≈0.1 Hz yield δNa≈0.4 %, whereas T≈30 min and fDa≈0.2 Hz give δNa≈1.2 %. If T≈60 min and fDa≈0.5 Hz, then δNa≈6 %. The periods T are found to change within the 15–120 min limits, and the Doppler shift amplitudes, fDa, show variability within the 0.05–0.4 Hz limits.

Abstract: Abstract We present the analysis of two-particle angular correlations using coordinate systems defined with the conventional beam axis and the event thrust axis. We propose the latter as a good representation for the correlation structure interpretation in the e + e − collision system. The e + e − collisions to hadronic final states at center-of-mass energies of s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 10.52 GeV and 10.58 GeV are recorded by the Belle detector at KEKB. In this paper, results on the first dataset are supplementary to the previous Belle publication [1]. At the same time, the latter is the first two-particle correlation measurement at collision energy on the Υ(4S) resonance and is sensitive to its decay products. Measurements are reported as a function of the charged-particle multiplicity. Finally, a qualitative understanding of the correlation structure is discussed using a combination of Monte Carlo simulations and experimental data.

Abstract: Purpose. To select recommendations on the use of physical culture means for students of future teachers, it is necessary to identify their functional features and genetically determined properties of the nervous system. Purpose: to reveal the relationship between the performance of the nervous system, orthostatic test and professional specialization of students of pedagogical universities. Material and methods. Students from 9 different faculties of Ukraine's leading pedagogical institute took part in the study. The total number of subjects was 841 people. Soon the reactions were determined by the program "Psychodiagnostics". Orthostatic reactions were determined by the results of heart rate in the supine position and in the standing position. An analysis of variance (ANOVA) was performed using Duncan's method to determine the influence of teaching faculty on test performance. Abstract: Abstract We report the measurement of the two-photon decay width of χ c2(1P) in two-photon processes at the Belle experiment. We analyze the process γγ → χ c2(1P) → J/ψγ, J/ψ → ℓ + ℓ − (ℓ = e or μ) using a data sample of 971 fb −1 collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB e + e − collider. In this analysis, the product of the two-photon decay width of χ c2(1P) and the branching fraction is determined to be Γ γγ χ c 2 1 P B χ c 2 1 P → J / ψγ B J / ψ → ℓ + ℓ − = 14.8 ± 0.3 stat . ± 0.7 syst . $$ {\Gamma}_{\gamma \gamma}\left({\chi}_{c2}(1P)\right)\mathcal{B}\left({\chi}_{c2}(1P)\to J/\psi \gamma \right)\mathcal{B}\left(J/\psi \to {\ell}^{+}{\ell}^{-}\right)=14.8\pm 0.3\left(\textrm{stat}.\right)\pm 0.7\left(\textrm{syst}.\right) $$ eV, which corresponds to Γ γγ (χ c2(1P)) = 653 ± 13(stat.) ± 31(syst.) ± 17(B.R.) eV, where the third uncertainty is from B $$ \mathcal{B} $$ (χ c2(1P) → J/ψγ) and B $$ \mathcal{B} $$ (J/ψ → ℓ + ℓ − ).

Abstract: Subject and Purpose. The study of the effect that each new Solar eclipse (SE) has on radio wave characteristics is an actual scientific and technical issue. The purpose of the present work is to analyze the variations in Doppler spectra (DS), Doppler shift of frequency (DSF), and in the reflected wave amplitude (RWA) that were observed during the SE of June 21, 2020 over the People’s Republic of China. Methods and Methodology.The observations of HF radio wave characteristics were made using the Harbin Engineering University multi-frequency multipath coherent radio system. The temporal variations in DS, DSF of the main ray and RWA are analyzed further. The variations in the Doppler frequency shift (DSF) were subjected to a systematic spectral analysis that involved joint application of the windowed Fourier transform, adaptive Fourier decomposition, and the Morlet mother-function-based wavelet transformation. Results. The SE was accompanied by DS diffuseness resulting from an increase in the number of rays. The DSF temporal variations were observed to be bi-polar and asymmetrical, with extreme DSF magnitudes varying from –11 to –40 mHz and from 22 to 56 mHz. The duration of processes with negative DSF values varied from 50 to 80 min, and the duration of processes with positive DSF changed from 30 to 80 min. The multi-hop propagation (from two to five hops) took place along all propagation paths, with a 360 to 560-km one-hop range. The 4–5-min period quasi-periodic DSF variations showed 20–50 mHz amplitude, and the 8–18-min period variations exhibited 40–100 mHz amplitude. The relative amplitudes of the 4–5 min period quasi-periodic variations in the electron density were observed to be in the 0.3–6.2% range, and the amplitudes of the 8–18 min period variations were found to be in the 1.1–21.7% range. A decrease in the electron density along different propagation paths was observed to vary from –(12–16)% to –(20–26)%. Conclusions. The characteristic features of the variations in HF radio wave parameters in the ionosphere have been studied during the SE of June 21, 2020 over the People’s Republic of China.

Abstract: This paper deals with the variations in the Doppler spectra and in the relative amplitudes of the signals observed at oblique incidence over the People's Republic of China (PRC) during the partial solar eclipse of 5–6 January 2019 and on reference days. The observations were made using the multifrequency multipath radio system for sounding the ionosphere at oblique incidence. The receiver system is located at the Harbin Engineering University, PRC, and 14 HF broadcasting station transmitters are used for taking measurements along the following radio-wave propagation paths: Lintong/Pucheng to Harbin, Hwaseong to Harbin, Chiba/Nagara to Harbin, Hailar/Nanmen to Harbin, Beijing to Harbin (three paths), Goyang to Harbin, Ulaanbaatar/Khonkhor to Harbin, Yakutsk to Harbin (two paths), Shijiazhuang to Harbin, Hohhot to Harbin, and Yamata to Harbin. The specific feature of this partial solar eclipse was that it occurred during the local morning with a geomagnetic disturbance (Kp ≈ 3−) in the background. The response of the ionosphere to the solar eclipse has been inferred from temporal variations in the Doppler spectra, the Doppler shift, and the signal relative amplitude. The partial solar eclipse was found to be associated with broadening of the Doppler spectrum, up to ± 1.5 Hz, alternating sign Doppler-shift variations, up to ± 0.5 Hz, in the main ray, and quasi-periodic Doppler-shift changes. The relative amplitude of electron density disturbances in the 15 min period of atmospheric gravity wave field and in the 4–5 min period of infrasound wave field is estimated to be 1.6 %–2.4 % and 0.2 %–0.3 %, respectively. The estimates of a maximum decrease in the electron density are in agreement with the observations.

40. Development of a Methodology for Calculating the Stress State and Resource of a Hydrogen Generator Using the Finite Element Method

Abstract: An experimental stand was created to study the thermobaric and chemical influence of hydrogen on the identification of hydrocarbon production. The said stand allows to reproduce chemical-technological processes as close as possible to real formation ones. This stand makes it possible to study the kinetics of not only hydrogen, thermobaric and chemical effects, but also other thermal gas chemical processes, including hydrogen generation. The main element of the experimental stand is a hydrogen generator, the components of which work at high pressures and temperatures under conditions of hydrogen embrittlement of mechanical properties and an aggressive environment that causes corrosion of its inner surface. Based on this, the development of a methodology for calculating the thermal stress state of the generator, its strength under hydrogen embrittlement conditions, and its resource becomes relevant. Based on the finite element method, a methodology for calculating non-stationary temperature fields and the thermal stress state that occur in the hydrogen generator during thermobaric and chemical processes of varying intensity is proposed. The methodology allows to take into account the features of the geometry of the structure, the time-varying temperature and pressure distributions of the reaction products, the temperature dependence of the thermophysical and mechanical properties of the hydrogen generator material. Thanks to the application of the developed software, a study of the hydrogen generator thermal stress state during two real thermobaric and chemical processes of different intensity was carried out. Graphs of temperature and pressure changes of the reaction products of hydroreactive substances in the generator over time, which were registered during the experiment conduction, were used. The distribution of non-stationary temperature fields and stresses in the hydrogen generator elements was obtained. Areas of maximum load of generator elements are defined. It was established that during the flow of the studied thermobaric and chemical processes, pressure makes a greater contribution to the thermal stress state. The obtained results and the developed theory and software can be used in the study of generators of other designs with other thermobaric and chemical processes occurring in them.

Abstract: Siberia is covered by 6 million km ^2 of forest, which moderates climate as a carbon sink and a source of aerosol particles causing negative radiative effect. Aerosol particles in boreal forests frequently form via gas-to-particle conversion, known as new particle formation (NPF). Compared to boreal sites at similar latitudes, NPF was reported to occur less often in the Siberian forest. However, factors controlling NPF in Siberia remain unknown. Our results suggest that the combination of biogenic and anthropogenic contributions caused unexpectedly high monthly NPF frequency (50%) at the observatory Fonovaya in the West Siberian taiga during the Siberian 2020 heatwave. High frequency was due to early spring photosynthetic recovery, which boosted biogenic emissions into polluted air masses carrying SO _2 . After mid-April, high temperatures and cleaner air masses led to less frequent (15%) and less intense NPF despite the increased emissions of natural organic vapors and ammonia. Furthermore, the contrast between the two spring periods was seen in cluster composition, particle-forming vapors (two times difference in sulfuric acid concentration), particle formation ( J _3 , 2.2 and 0.4 cm ^−3 s ^−1 ) and growth rates (GR _2−3 , 1.7 and 0.6 nm h ^−1 ). Given the strong warming trend, our results suggest that within 25‒30 years, the monthly NPF frequency during early spring in the West Siberian taiga can reach 40%–60%, as in the European boreal sites.

Abstract: Purpose: to identify the influence of the professional orientation of education and lifestyle (sports) on the indicators of psychophysiological functions and orthostatic reactions of students of various faculties of pedagogical universities. Material and methods. 812 students of pedagogical institutions of higher education of Ukraine took part in the study: 88 students of the faculty of elementary education, 76 students of history, 130 of natural sciences, 131 of foreign philology, 93 of the faculty of preschool education, 198 of Ukrainian language, 25 of the faculty of physical education and sports, 24 students from the Faculty of Arts, 47 students from the Faculty of Psychology and Sociology. Psychophysiological testing was carried out according to the Psychodiagnostics program and involved determining the speed of a simple visual-motor reaction, determining the speed of a choice of two elements out of three. Abstract: Ensuring the efficient and reliable safe operation of ground special equipment of various types, aircrafts is an important and urgent problem. Preservation of the strength, protective properties and transparency of the glazing of machinery cabins in a wide range of temperatures under various strength influences is one of the key components of this problem. Multilayer packages made of different types of glass are used for special equipment glazing. These packages are connected to each other with adhesive polymer materials. Electrically heated glazing, which allows to avoid the special equipment icing, as well as to protect the viewing area from fogging, is used for reliable and failure-free operation of special equipment at low temperatures. Based on this, an important problem that affects the efficiency of the use of special equipment is to ensure the reliable operation of electric glass heating. With the help of a software package developed on the basis of the finite element method for the analysis of the structures thermal stress in 3D formulation, which allows to consider a wide class of practical problems of varying complexity, the problems of non-stationary and stationary thermal conductivity and thermal elasticity for a trapezoidal frontal electrically heated multilayer glazing are solved. A study of the thermal stress state of glazing with an electric heating system, which allows to avoid freezing of glass operating at low temperatures, was carried out. The reasons for which the delamination of the multi-layer glazing may occur (impermissible temperature modes, mechanical strength effects, violation of operating conditions) are determined. Multilayer glazing with an electric heating system is used for aircrafts, military equipment, land transport, which can be operated at different temperatures. In view of this, the study of their thermal stress state and determination of possible causes of delamination allows to ensure the operation reliability and increase the efficiency of the use of special equipment in different climatic conditions. It is planned to carry out further studies of the glass block thermal stress state taking into account the thermostat operation and determining the temperature sensors location points, as well as changes in the physical properties of materials and the power of the heating element with temperature changes.
