Abstract The application of green building approaches has significantly increased in many countries and buildings, accompanied by the development of numerous standards and methodologies for their implementation. Despite these efforts, not all risks and challenges facing green projects have been eliminated in some regions. Issues such as financing difficulties, budget overruns, and schedule delays continue to pose significant challenges. As a result, no substantial improvements have been made in the approach to green projects. Therefore, this study aims to develop a theoretical framework that enhances the approach to green projects. By utilizing the AGILE methodology, specifically SCRUM, the most significant risks facing green projects were identified and converted into indicators based on prior studies. Furthermore, Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, particularly Green BIM (GBIM), was employed to create tools and elements to address these challenges, leading to the development of a conceptual framework capable of providing solutions. This framework was built around 30 indicators, whose weights were determined through an electronic questionnaire involving 140 specialists in green projects, AGILE methodology, and BIM technology. Assistance from academic experts was also sought. The results of the questionnaire, analyzed using statistical methods, contributed to the development of a theoretical framework aimed at improving the approach to green projects.

In a globalizing world, the borders on the map have started to disappear economically and customers in the world economy expect high levels of quality from their suppliers. Only companies that can respond to customer expectations in the most accurate way will be able to survive in the future. One of the main goals of today's companies is to offer the best quality product at the most affordable price in line with the needs of customers. At this point, the Six Sigma approach is one of the most effective methods that companies can try. In this study, by applying the Six Sigma methodology, the root causes of PE (Polyethylene) film breaks in plastic bags were investigated by taking plastic bag production machines, processes and control steps as an example, necessary measurements were made by considering the production lines in a sample company and improvements were made in the production process by analyzing with Minitab program. At the end of the study, 24.012 TL/year savings were achieved by reducing downtime due to film breaks in the PE Film line, and 13.938 TL/year savings were achieved financially by reducing the amount of waste. In this way, the plastic bag industry benefited. In six sigma projects, it has been determined once again that the only element that is as important as making the change is that all the personnel of the company should keep up with and support this change. AbstractAfter conducting three World-Wide Failure Exercises (WWFEs), it has become apparent that existing strength theories or criteria have certain deficiencies, and no single theory can accurately match all experimental results. As a result, there is a growing focus on the uncertainties present in the macrocosm test data of composite materials. The paper introduces the concept of uncertainty into the collection of test data for the classical Tsai-Wu failure criterion and Hashin criterion. The method proposed involves fitting the coefficients of the failure criteria by treating experimental data as random variables, a technique that diverges significantly from the conventional method of using composite allowable values to define these coefficients. It also uses the probability of success as a constraint and defines the fitted error as an optimization objective. Monte Carlo sampling is employed to perform a reliability analysis, and six sigma is used for a reliability-based optimization of the failure criteria. The Multi-Island Genetic Algorithm is utilized to search for the optimal value. The approach presented in this study provides the ability to predict future failures in composite materials by considering the uncertainty of the test data. By incorporating uncertainties into the analysis and design process, a more accurate and reliable assessment of the performance of composite materials can be achieved. Moreover, there seems to be a significant difference in the fitting error between the mean data and the normal distribution data. Additionally, when Hashin criterion is modified, the test data matches the failure envelope more closely and the degree of fit between the experimental data and the failure envelope is higher. The quality of the products and services provided is essential in order to stay on the market in a competitive framework, and nowadays it has become a necessity to implement modern measures for permanent monitoring. For the continuous improvement of business processes and for the creation of products and services to meet the market demands, it is necessary to redirect the management at the highest level towards the new concepts of Industry 5.0: IoT, Big Data, Cloud Computing, as well as the adoption of modern methods and techniques of measuring quality in compliance with the principles of sustainability. In our study we proposed a methodology to implement the newest technologies on the market but, at the same time evaluating them with the traditional statistical methods such as 6 Sigma. The proposed model was based on the measurement of the performance indicators of the processes, evaluating them in relation to the proposed target and the company’s digital transition was made according to the 8 new principles proposed by CQI (Chartered Quality Institute). Currently, large buildings are often equipped with building management systems (BMS), but either because of the type of control or the difficulty of interacting with them, they do not allow optimization policies to be implemented. As far as energy efficiency is concerned, optimization strategies often result from the analysis of monitored data by a specialist, which slows down both decision making and implementation. Aware of this problem, this project arises, in which a complementary platform to the BMS systems is developed to provide them with greater intelligence. For its design, the Puerta del Hierro Hospital in Madrid has been taken as a pilot case, from the data captured by its own BMS and using the 6 SIGMA methodology, algorithms have been developed capable of optimizing the production systems themselves, thus helping to make up for the weaknesses in the operation of the systems and reducing energy consumption, minimizing the environmental impact and allowing to obtain the maximum performance of its assets. The platform uses the information gathered by the BMS and weather forecasts to predict a building's energy demand and, based on this, optimize energy production at any given moment. Objective: Sigma Metrics Methodology is a quality measurement method in order to evaluate and compare the analytical performance of laboratories. Six Sigma can be used as a clinical analytical phase assessment methodology to form an internal quality control (IQC) strategy and plan its frequency. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the analytical performance of the tumor markers total and free prostate specific antigen (PSA) by calculating process sigma values. Methods: Sigma levels for both tests were analyzed by using IQC values retrieved from laboratory information system for consecutive 3 months. Bias and coefficient of variation (CV) were calculated. Biological variation databases were used for Total Allowable Error (TEa). The calculated sigma values were classified as follows: ">5", "4-5", "3-4" and " <3" as very good, good, minimum and unacceptable respectively. Results: The sigma values of total PSA and free PSA tests according to the 3-month data of two IQC levels were found to > 5 and 4-5 for total PSA,while those for free PSA were <3 for both levels. Conclusion: Our results showed that performance of total PSA is good while performance of free PSA is unacceptable. It is possible to determine a test with high error probability by evaluating the fine sigma levels and the tests that must be quarded by more stringent quality control applications. By focusing on the application of 6 Sigma this paper analyses the process of human resource management in Vilnius city municipality administration. With increasing requirements to servants and employees of public institutions, the main attention should focus on unnecessary activities and the elimination of wastes. The purpose of article is to analyze the process of human resource management and to identify the criteria which would improve the management of human resources. According to the scientific literature analysis and qualitative research results of Vilnius City Municipality Administration, the article introduces wastes of the human resources management process and gives practical suggestions - how to improve the process of human resources management.

In the process of production, it is necessary to control the quality and safety of products. In addition, each manufacturer determines his way of control. In the age of information technologies, modern management calls on producers to analyze not only quality errors but the data collected that allows you to see the frequency of occurrence of certain defects. The proposed project (program) is aimed at automated recording and analysis of quality errors thanks to the use of computer technology and statistical methods, as well as 6 Sigma methodology of modern management. To develop the program the existing and potential causes of bread rejection have been analyzed, and the most common defects have been listed. Based on the data obtained a Microsoft Office Excel defects data processing program has been created. It makes possible to prepare the month and annual reports automatically, eliminating the human factor. As a result recommendations on optimization of the process «Product quality control», by the example of bread production have been developed. A new form of the final month report which reflects the information on the volume of output in the past month, the number of defects, the frequency of a defect occurrence, as well as a defect-free level according to the «6 Sigma» methodology has been developed. A sub-process «Analysis and reporting» has been automated with the help of a computer technology. To test the program a list of shortcomings and defects in groups of bread defects has been formed and ranked.

El estudio obedece a la necesidad de satisfacer los objetivos organizacionales relacionados con las características fisicoquímicas del producto terminado en una de las plantas de la principal empresa de cervezas del país. En este documento, se pretende realizar una aproximación al perfil del trabajador auto controlado, que al compararlo con las competencias, genéricas, específicas y del área técnica establecidas por la cervecera, van a permitir generar una metodología que ajuste esas competencias y permita obtener la meta trazada.
