This paper calculates numerical solutions of an extended three-coupled Korteweg–de Vries system by the q-homotopy analysis transformation method (q-HATM), which is a hybrid of the Laplace transform and the q-homotopy analysis method. Multiple investigations inspecting planetary oceans, optical cables, and cosmic plasma have employed the KdV model, significantly contributing to its development. The uniqueness, convergence, and maximum absolute truncation error of this algorithm are demonstrated. A numerical simulation has been performed to validate the accuracy and validity of the proposed approach. Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are a global health problem and leading cause of death worldwide. Thrombus formation, one of the CVDs, is essentially the formation of fibrin clots. The existing thrombolytic agents have the disadvantages of high price, short half‐life, and high bleeding risk; hence, there is an urgent need to find the alternative thrombolytic agents. In recent years, traditional fermented foods have been widely investigated for their outstanding effects in the prevention and treatment of thrombus formation. In this review, we have focused on fibrinolytic enzymes produced by microorganisms during the fermentation of traditional fermented foods and their potential use for treating CVDs. First, we discussed about the sources of fibrinolytic enzymes and microbial strains that produce those enzymes followed by the optimization of fermentation process, purification, and physicochemical properties of fibrinolytic enzymes. Finally, we have summarized the thrombolytic effects of fibrinolytic enzymes in humans and mice. Fibrinolytic enzymes produced by microorganisms during the fermentation of traditional fermented foods not only lyse thrombi but also acts as anti‐atherosclerotic, anti‐hyperlipidemia, and neuroprotection agents. The limitation of the small-scale expression samples generally causes the performance degradation for facial expression recognition-based methods. Also, the correlation between different expression is always ignored when performing feature extraction process. Given above, we propose a novel approach that develops multi-class differentiation feature representation guided joint dictionary learning for FER. The proposed approach mainly includes two steps: firstly, we construct multi-class differentiation feature dictionaries corresponding to different expressions of training samples, aiming to enlarge inter-expression distance to mitigate the problem of nonlinear distribution in training samples. Secondly, we joint learn the multiple feature dictionaries by optimizing the resolutions of each feature dictionary, aiming to establish the strong relationship and enhance the representation ability among multiple feature dictionaries. To sum up, the proposed approach has more discriminative ability from the representation perspective. Comprehensive experiments carried out using three public datasets, including JAFFE, CK+ , and KDEF datasets, demonstrate that the proposed approach has strong performance for small-scale samples compared to several state-of-the-art methods. Background: With an aging population and the influence of traditional culture, the number of disabled older adults at home is increasing. Meanwhile, their care needs are also increasing. The cooperation between family and community can effectively improve the quality of home care for the disabled older adults. At present, there is a lack of research on the interaction between family and community in home care for disabled older adults. Methods: The aim of this study is to determine the experience and demands of the interaction for disabled older adults, family and community, construct an interaction program among disabled older adults, family and community, and improve the quality of life. From may 2022 to July 2022, This study will select disabled older adults families from seven communities in Henan provinces. The researchers, after training, will conduct semi-structured interview to collect research data. According to the integration results of qualitative research, the interactive program is constructed and revised using the Delphi expert consultation method. Then the participants will be selected to accept the intervention of the interactive program and evaluated through questionnaires. Discussion: Both family and community play an important role in the care of the disabled older adults at home. There is some evidence indicating the benefits of cooperation between family and community on disabled older adults. This study will take a step further and constructs a interaction program about how to create a positive and interactive home-based older adults care environment. More and more studies have confirmed the importance of polarization effects in hydrogen bonding interactions in protein folding simulations. In this paper, a recently developed charge update scheme termed polarized structure-specific backbone charge (PSBC) model was applied to the folding of 10-residue chignolin. A comparison between simulations performed using PSBC and a nonpolarizable (AMBER99SB) force field demonstrably showed the importance of the electrostatic polarization effect in the folding of the short β-hairpin peptide by a series of analyses such as DSSP, free-energy landscape, hydrogen bond occupancy, and melting curve. The VIV responses of the circular cylinder at low and moderate Reynolds numbers are calculated according to two-dimensional numerical simulation and the fourth-order Runge–Kutta algorithm. The first part of the study is focused on the applicability of 2D numerical simulation between the response of 2D numerical simulation and the actual response, which can guide the preliminary engineering studies by vortex shedding. The reasonable vortex shedding mode of each branch, and the change process of the trajectory from the '8' type to the 'droplet' type, are discussed in the second part of the study. And independent calculations under different speed reduction conditions are employed to suit practical application scenarios. The comparison shows the applicability of the 2D numerical simulations at low Reynolds numbers. Although the amplitude calculation results at moderate Reynolds numbers are inconsistent with the experimental results, the two-dimensional numerical simulation has good reliability in the trailing vortex capture. Verticillium wilt is a fungal disease in upland cotton and exerts a significant effect on growth and potential productivity. This disease is mainly caused by V. dahliae Kleb. Ethylene response factor (ERF) is one of the superfamilies of transcription factors that is involved in the development and environmental adaption of crops. A total of 30 ERF.B4 group members were detected in upland cotton and divided into 6 subgroups. Gene structures, conserved motifs, and domain analysis revealed that members in each subgroup are highly conserved. Further, the 30 GhERF.B4 group members were distributed on 18 chromosomes, and 36 gene synteny relationships were found among them. GhERF.B4 genes were ubiquitously expressed in various tissues and developmental stages of cotton. Amongst them, GhERF.B4-15D was predominantly expressed in roots, and its expression was induced by V. dahliae infection. In addition, GhERF.B4-15D responded to methyl jasmonate (MeJA), methyl salicylate (MeSA), and ethylene (ET) phytohormones. It was also found that the V. dahliae resistance was enhanced due to overexpression of GhERF.B4-15D in Arabidopsis thaliana. On the contrary, interference of GhERF.B4-15D by virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS) technology decreased the V. dahliae resistance level in upland cotton. The subcellular localization experiment showed that GhERF.B4-15D was located in the nucleus. Yeast two-hybrid (Y2H) and luciferase complementation (LUC) approaches demonstrated that GhERF.B4-15D interacted with GhDREB1B. Additionally, the V. dahliae resistance was significantly decreased in GhDREB1B knockdowns. Our results showed that GhERF.B4-15D plays a role during V. dahliae infection in cotton. Background: A questionnaire developed in one language must be translated and adapted when it will be used with patients speaking a different language and care should be taken to maintain equivalence between the source language (SL) version and its translated version. The objective of this study was to test the linguistic and cultural validity of a Nepali language version of the Supportive Care Need Survey – Short Form 34 (SCNS-SF34) used with the Nepali population. Methods: Translation of the SCNS-SF34 was carried out by following Beaton's guidelines and Consensus-based Standards for the Selection of Health Status Measurement Instruments (COSMIN) by a research team. The translated version was administered to patients with cervical cancer in Nepal. The following steps were performed as part of the study: translation, content validity assessment, reliability assessment and measurement of errors. Results: The study reports item content validity (I-CVI) was > 0.78 and scale content validity (S-CVI) was − 0.89, 0.91 and 0.90 respectively in semantic, cultural, and conceptual aspects. The study found a content validity ratio (CVR) of 0.9 to 1, Cronbach's α of 0.90, correlation significant at the 0.01 level (2-tailed), and clarity of the questionnaire at 91.29%. The standard error of measurement (SEM) and small detectable changes (SDC) for overall care need scores were measured 2.70 and 7.47 respectively. All items were accepted as per the original SCNS-SF34. Following the respondents' suggestions, simpler Nepali words were chosen in some items to replace the words in the preliminary Nepali version of SCNS-SF34. Conclusion: Preliminary findings show that the Nepali translation of SCNS-SF34 is practical and applicable to the Nepali population. Financial supportive care needs, supportive care for caretakers and problems during patient hospital stays are essential to include in the questionnaire to further explore supportive care needs. Background. Approximately 10%–20% of patients with Kawasaki disease (KD) are nonresponsive to intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) treatment, placing them at higher risk of developing coronary heart lesions. Early detection of nonresponsiveness is crucial to curtail this risk; however, the applicability of existing predictive scoring systems is limited to the Japanese population. Our study aimed to identify a predictive scoring system for IVIG resistance in KD specific to the Chinese population. We aimed to assess the utility of three commonly used risk-scoring systems in predicting IVIG resistance and compare them to the newly developed predictive scoring system. Methods. A total of 895 patients with KD were enrolled in this retrospective review and divided into two groups: IVIG responders and nonresponders. Clinical and laboratory variables were compared between the two groups. Multivariable logistic regression models were used to construct a new scoring system. The utility of the existing and new scoring systems was assessed and compared using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve. Results. Albumin levels, percentage of neutrophils, and hemoglobin were independent predictors of resistance by logistic regression analysis. The new predictive scoring system was derived with improved sensitivity (60.5%) and specificity (87.8%). The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve was 0.818. Conclusion. This study developed a novel risk-scoring system for predicting resistance to IVIG treatment in KD specific to the Chinese population. Backgrounds: The perceived supportive care needs (SCNs) of cancer patients are essential components of a care program. The first step in planning and intervening for supportive care is the proper identification of the SCNs of cancer patients. Cervical cancer (CC) is the most prevalent cancer among Nepali women. The authors assess SCNs and their predictors among CC patients under treatment by using a validated Nepali version supportive care need survey short form (SCNS- SF 34 N). Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in 5 cancer treatment hospitals in Nepal. A culturally adapted and psychometrically validated Nepali version SCNS –SF- 34 N was completed by a convenience sample of 218 CC patients. Data were analyzed by using descriptive (frequency, percentage, mean, median) and inferential (Chi-square P-value and binary logistic regression analysis) statistics. Results: The study showed that 99% of the respondents were in need of some level (low, moderate, high) of supportive care. The psychological domain, physical daily living, health system information, patient care support and sexuality domain ranked from first to fifth for SCNs with mean and standard deviations 70.29 ± 18.84, 63.25 ± 23.15, 57.90 ± 21.11, 56.46 ± 21.92 and 46.06 ± 34.16, respectively. Binary logistic regression found causal association between SCNs and variables "occupation (p-value = 0.007), and type of hospital (p-value = 0.000)" at a 95% confidence level. Conclusion: Nepali CC patients perceive and experience many unmet SCNs, with psychological SCNs being the first priority. It is essential that the SCNs of patients may need to be known by their close family members, care providers, CC related program. so that they can offer intervention as per patients' needs. The approach to question answering is challenging because it usually requires finding useful information from within and between question and answer sentences for sentence semantic matching. The key information mined from existing question and answer sentences, as a supplement to semantic information, maybe helpful for this task. However, capturing the intra-sentence and inter-sentence semantic interactions is somewhat difficult given the implicit interrelationships between question and answer sentences. Although the learning effect of multi-layer neural network is good, it lacks explanatory and theoretical support. This paper mainly studies how to select the best answer sentence from a set of question and answer sentences, mine information more effectively, perform semantic matching, and have a certain interpretability. Therefore, we propose a hierarchical attention network (QHAN) based on the mathematical framework of quantum theory, which integrates the attention mechanism under quantum measurement and density matrix (DMATT) and the attention mechanism under quantum weak measurement and weak value (WMATT) in one in a unified model framework. QHAN can not only discover key sentences in a set of question and answer sentences and key words in a sentence, but also perform sentence semantic matching quickly and accurately. Furthermore, QHAN has the advantage of interpretability in terms of models due to the physical meaning and attentional full weight distribution implied by quantum theory. Extensive experiments on the question answering dataset show that our method is comparable to the baselines and can explain why the selected question and answer sentence is the best option in terms of intra-sentence and inter-sentence attention distributions. Immediate assessment of surgical incisions is an important component of wound management, and the development of relevant technologies has the potential to address these challenges. Smartphone‐based handheld thermal imagers can collect infrared radiation from the skin to monitor local blood perfusion and metabolic levels in incisions. Here, we used this imaging technology for early assessment of healing progress and potential for predicting the healing status of thoracic surgical incisions. Thermal image acquisition and temperature extraction were performed on 40 patients for 7 consecutive days postoperatively, and visualised early warning information was observed, with temperature and temperature readings showing non‐linear trajectory changes during the measurement period, and temperature readings on day 4 achieving high prediction of healing status at 1–2 months capability with sensitivities and specificities of 91.67% and 85.71%, respectively, suggesting a promising clinical application of portable thermography for assessing incision healing dynamics and providing a scientific basis for later artificial intelligence‐driven decision algorithms. During the cultivation of Marsupenaeus japonicus, there are often obvious differences in the growth within the same family under the same food, water quality, and environment, which greatly affects cultivation efficiency. To explore the molecular mechanism of this growth difference, this study used RNA-seq technology to compare the transcriptomes of M. japonicus individuals with significant growth differences from the same family. A total of 1375 differentially expressed genes were identified, of which 1109 were upregulated and 266 were downregulated. Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analyses were performed on the differentially expressed genes, and the results showed that growth-related processes, including chitin metabolism, chitin-binding amino sugar metabolism, and antioxidant processes, including response to oxidative stress, peroxidase activity, antioxidant activity, and peroxidase activity, showed significant differences between the large-size and small-size groups. The expression levels of some differentially expressed genes, such as cuticular protein, low-density lipoprotein receptor, ecdysteroid kinase, myosin heavy chain, and apoptosis inhibitor, were verified by quantitative PCR experiments. One cuticle gene was annotated, and phylogenetic analysis showed that this sequence clustered with the penaeid cuticle genes. Purpose: This study aims to address how to facilitate more community members making purchases in social commerce communities. The research is expected to shed new light on the underlying process by which individuals' social networks influence their purchases in social commerce communities. Design/methodology/approach: An online survey and secondary archive data are presented to confirm all the hypotheses. Findings: Community members' out-degree ties show a positive effect on their attachment to other members, as well as to the community. Community members' attachment to the community has a positive influence on their purchases made in the e-commerce modules of social commerce communities and mediates the effect of their attachment to community members. The study establishes a theoretical framework to reveal how community members' social networks influence their purchases in social commerce communities. Practical implications: The findings of this study provide new insights for managers and designers of new social commerce communities to inspire them to achieve their goal of keeping consumers making purchases in the e-commerce modules of social commerce communities. Originality/value: Firstly, this study draws on attachment theory to explain why community members make purchases in a social commerce community. Then, the study enriches the research on social network ties and attachment theory by initially integrating the social network perspective with attachment theory to examine the effects of social network ties on different types of attachment. Fatigue is a common symptom experienced by 80% of individuals who receive chemotherapy and is one of the major factors that affect quality of life (QoL) of patients with breast cancer. Our study aimed to assess the effect of cognitive behavioural therapy integrated with activity pacing (CBT‐AP) on cancer‐related fatigue among patients with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy. A parallel‐group, randomised controlled trial was conducted. Severely fatigued patients were randomly assigned to the CBT‐AP or usual care (UC) groups using a computer‐generated random sequence. The new intervention was designed for seven sessions: three 2‐hour face‐to‐face and four 30‐minute telephone sessions. The primary outcome (fatigue severity) and the secondary outcomes (depression and QoL) were assessed at the end of the intervention and after 3 months. The data were analysed by repeated measures analyses of covariance (RM‐ANCOVA). CBT‐AP had a significant time effect (P <.001, ηp2 = 0.233) in reducing fatigue from baseline (adjusted mean = 7.48) to the end of the intervention (adjusted mean = 6.37) and the 3‐month follow‐up (adjusted mean = 6.54). Compared to the UC group, the CBT‐AP group had lower fatigue and depression scores, and higher global health status scores. The group × time interaction revealed a significant reduction in fatigue and depression in the CBT‐AP group compared to the UC group. Therefore, CBT‐AP appears to be effective in reducing fatigue and depression and improving QoL in patients with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy. Peppermint essential oil, being natural and safe, with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, has long been a research interest in relieving fatigue and improving exercise performance. However, the related studies report controversial results, and the mechanisms remain unclear. Here we found that inhalation of peppermint essential oil significantly extended the exhaustion time in rats subjected to 2-week weight-bearing swimming training. Sprague-Dawley rats were subjected to a 2-week weight-loaded forced swimming regimen. Prior to each swimming session, the rats were administered peppermint essential oil via inhalation. An exhaustive swimming test was performed at the end of the protocol. Rats treated with essential oil had significantly extended time to exhaustion compared with exercised rats without essential oil treatment. In addition, treated rats also showed reduced oxidative damage induced by endurance exercise. Notably, the rats receiving two-week essential oil inhalation while not subjected to swimming training did not show improved exercise performance. The findings demonstrate that repeated inhalation of peppermint essential oil enhances the effects of endurance training and improves exercise performance partially by preventing oxidative damage. Cleansing coincidental correctness test cases has been proven to be useful in software fault localization. However, k-means clustering-based coincidental correctness test cases identification has not been studied yet. k-means clustering is hard classification and each sample point belongs to the cluster with the highest similarity, which leads to the inaccuracy of the cluster-based coincidental correctness. To address this issue, we propose an effective Coincidental Correctness test cases identification framework based on Fuzzy C-Means clustering (CC-FCM). The elements of coincidental correctness were first identified by probability function we designed, and the feature elements of the coincidental correctness were selected. Secondly, fuzzy c-means clustering was first introduced into identifying coincidental correctness test case after the dimensions of program execution traces were reduced. Finally, the results after coincidental correctness cleansing were used for the fault localization. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed CC-FCM, experiments were conducted by four fault localization methods, including Tarantula, Ochiai, Naish2 and Russel &Rao on 10 real-world subject programs. The experimental results showed that our proposed CC-FCM has a significant improvement over the compared methods, and that our approach has a lower false-positive rate and false-negative rate in coincidental correctness test case identification. PD-1 has become a common target for cancer treatment. However, the molecular regulation of PD-1 expression homeostasis remains unclear. Here we report the PD-1 3' UTR can dramatically repress gene expression via promoting mRNA decay. Deletion of the PD-1 3' UTR inhibits T cell activity and promotes T-ALL cell proliferation. Interestingly, the robust repression is attributable to cumulative effects of many weak regulatory regions, which we show together are better able to maintain PD-1 expression homeostasis. We further identify several RNA binding proteins (RBPs) that modulate PD-1 expression via the 3' UTR, including IGF2BP2, RBM38, SRSF7, and SRSF4. Moreover, despite rapid evolution, PD-1 3' UTRs are functionally conserved and strongly repress gene expression through many common RBP binding sites. These findings reveal a previously unrecognized mechanism of maintaining PD-1 expression homeostasis and might represent a general model for how small regulatory effects play big roles in regulation of gene expression and biology. Cadmium (Cd) can damage tissues by inducing oxidative stress, lymphocyte infiltration, and inflammation in these sites. Meanwhile, astilbin (Ast) is an antioxidant agent. At present, only a few mechanisms of Cd-induced adipose tissue damage have been described. Herein, we assessed the potential protective effects and the molecular mechanism underlying the antioxidant properly of Ast after Cd intake in chicken adipose tissue. In this study, a total of 160 7-day-old roosters were randomly divided into four groups. Roosters were fed with a basic diet (C group), Ast 40 mg/kg (Ast group), CdCl2 150 mg/kg + Ast 40 mg/kg (Cd/Ast group), and CdCl2 150 mg/kg (Cd group) for 60 days. We found that Cd intake changed the morphology and structure of adipose tissues and decreased the expression of several antioxidants, including total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), catalase (CAT), and total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC), but increased those of oxidative stress markers including malondialdehyde (MDA), inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), NO, and H2O2. Cd further activated the nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) signaling pathway and increased the expression of the inflammation-related mediators, interleukin 1beta (IL-1β), interleukin 6 (IL-6), interleukin 8 (IL-8), interleukin 10 (IL-10), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), iNOS, prostaglandin E synthase (PTGES), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), and interferon-gamma (IFN-γ). Cd-induced oxidative stress upregulated the expression of three heat shock proteins (HSPs), including HSP27, HSP70, and HSP90. Summarily, Cd causes oxidative stress-mediated tissue damage by activating the NF-κB pathway, promoting inflammation and upregulating the expression of HSPs. Background: Family members are currently the main caregivers of the disabled elderly people at home. With declining health and increasing frailty, caregiving of disabled elderly people becomes a task of family caregivers in conjunction with community nurses. Interaction between family caregivers and community nurses can effectively improve the quality of home care for the disabled elderly people. This study aimed to investigate the interaction experiences between family caregivers and community nurses for disabled elderly people at home. Methods: This research was a study of qualitative descriptions based on semi-structured face-to-face interviews. This study was to purposefully select family caregivers of the disabled elderly and community nurses in Zhengzhou city, Henan Province and explore the interaction patterns between them. Directed content analysis method was used to generate qualitative codes and identify themes. Results: A total of 12 interviews were completed, including 7 family caregivers and 5 community nurses. Four themes were identified: 1) Information interaction; 2) Emotional interaction; 3) Practical interaction; 4) Factors that promote and hinder the interaction. Conclusions: It was found that the interaction between family caregivers and community nurses was not optimistic. Lack of communication and collaboration between community nurses and caregivers. Providing a new perspective that we can develop and implement intervention to facilitate positive interactions, which will reduce the burden of family caregivers, bring the highest quality of care to older adults with disabilities and improve the quality of care for disabled elderly people. Photosynthetic hydrogen (photoH2) production is an elegant approach to storing solar energy. The most efficient strategy is to couple the hydrogen‐producing enzyme, the hydrogenase (H2ase), directly to photosystem I (PSI), which is a light‐driven nanomachine found in photosynthetic organisms. PSI–H2ase fusions have been tested in vivo and in vitro. Both approaches have each their specific advantages and drawbacks. Here, a system to combine both approaches by assembling PSI–H2ase fusions in vivo for in vitro photoH2 production is established. For this, cyanobacterial PSI–H2ase fusion mutants are generated and characterized concerning photoH2 production in vivo. The chimeric protein is purified and embedded in a redox polymer on an electrode where it successfully produces photoH2 in vitro. The combination of in vivo and in vitro processes comes along with reciprocal benefits. The in vivo assembly ensures that the chimeric protein is fully functional and suited for the fabrication of bioelectrodes in vitro. At the same time, the photoelectrochemical in vitro characterization now permits to analyze the assemblies in detail.
