Climate change is impacting on pavement infrastructure in China. To eliminate the issues of asphalt freeway pavement caused by climate change, this study evaluated the temperature change in China from 2020 to 2059. The related pavement issues include rutting, fatigue life, and thermal crack caused by climate change are assessed based on the prediction models incorporated with the predicted future climate. The potential future distresses were analyzed, quantified, and cataloged, then the effectiveness of optional adaptation measures included adjustment of structure thickness, dynamic modulus, and creep stiffness were analyzed. Finally, a method to select and quantify the adaptation measures was developed based on the effectiveness analysis of adaptation measures. The major findings of this study are listed below: (1) Temperature rise is the general trend, rutting and fatigue issue is typical issue caused by climate change. (2) Extreme low temperature issue would occur more severe for some area in future, up to 35% of pavement would have more severe thermal crack issue caused by climate change in 2050s. (3) Six quantified adaptation measures were suggested to solve these two types of issues caused by climate change. The compressing, stretching, bending, and shearing stress of reed stalk growing in the Yangtze River region were investigated by using a computer-controlled electronic universal testing machine. The results were as follows: the average maximum values of the stress resistance intensity, pulling resistance intensity, the average of maximum bending resistance intensity, and shearing resistance intensity were 22 MPa, 152 MPa, 118 MPa and 26 MPa, respectively, whereas the equivalent values of the modulus of elasticity were 45 MPa, 321 MPa, 77 MPa and 286 MPa, respectively. The stalk of reed is a kind of anisotropic material and it is different from Arundo donax L., ramie and wheat. Thus, the traditional agricultural machine for cutting and processing is found to be inconvenient to use in reed harvesting. In this paper, the compressibility and recoverability of five pieces fiber assemblies of cashmere in different regions of China were tested by KES evaluation systems and evaluated in comparison to establish the latest date and correlative evaluation. Amount of compression obtained higher fiber assemblies, indicating that the smaller the bending rigidity of the fiber, fiber performance in the more flexibility at the same time. Cashmere fiber assemblies compression recovery rate was higher, the fluffy fiber assemblies were better. In different compression times, the leading role of single fiber and fiber assembly changed with the density, which can afford refererce to set the latest date of the compression propertimes of variation cashmere.
