The paper presents a developed mathematical model for a radially one-dimensional problem of developing a formation with high-viscosity oil. The model is built using the technology of paired horizontal wells; a coolant flows through one of them, and the liquefied heated oil flows into the other one, which is open. It is assumed that the wells are located close enough to each other, and the heating well has been operating for a sufficient time, at which the lengths of the temperature fields are many times greater than the radius of the well and the distance between them. The heat conduction equation was solved by the method of sequential changing of stationary states. The problem was solved in two stages. At the first stage, the formation was heated without oil extraction. At the second stage, the oil was heated and withdrawn simultaneously. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
