A method for in situ preparation of fluorescent AuNPs@AuNCs core/shell nanoparticles by the template of BSA coated gold nanoparticles was developed. The as-prepared AuNPs@AuNCs core/shell nanoparticles possessed advantages such as uniform size, improved monodispersity and excellent fluorescence. The AuNPs@AuNCs core/shell nanoparticles in powder and suspension form were applied to the detection of latent fingermark due to the above properties. The developed latent fingermarks by AuNPs@AuNCs core/shell powder on various surfaces can exhibit excellent ridge details with good contrast between the fingermarks and the substrate. Moreover, under alternative light sources, the latent fingermarks developed with AuNPs@AuNCs core/shell powder work well. Let be a prime. The Sylow -number of a finite group , which is the number of Sylow -subgroups of , is called solvable if its -part is congruent to modulo for any prime . P. Hall showed that solvable groups only have solvable Sylow numbers, and M. Hall showed that the Sylow -number of a finite group is the product of two kinds of factors: of prime powers with (mod ) and of the number of Sylow -subgroups in certain finite simple groups (involved in ). These classical results lead to the investigation of solvable Sylow numbers of finite simple groups. Motivated by Isaacs and Passman's characterization of finite groups all of whose nonlinear complex irreducible characters have prime degrees, we investigate finite groups with exactly one character degree that is not a prime. In this paper, the problems of stability and control for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with unknown state time-delay are studied by using the fuzzy logic systems. Because the dynamic surface control technique is introduced to deal with the uncertain time-delay systems, the designed adaptive fuzzy controller can avoid the issue of "explosion of complexity", which comes from the traditional backstepping design procedure. Compared with the existing results in the literature, the robustness to the fuzzy approximation errors is improved by adjusting the estimations of the unknown bounds for the approximation errors. It is shown that the resulting closed-loop system is stable in the sense that all the signals are bounded and the system output track the reference signal in a small neighborhood of the origin by choosing design parameters appropriately. The order parameters and synchronization are numerically investigated in the time delay small-world connected FitzHugh–Nagumo excitable systems. The simulations show that the order parameter continuously decreases with increasing D, the quality of the synchronization worsens for large noise intensity. As the coupling intensity goes up, the quality of the synchronization worsens also, and find that the larger rewiring probability becomes, the larger-order parameter. At the same time, the order parameter goes up, the time delay declines. We obtained the complete phase diagram for a wide range of values of noise intensity D and control parameter g.
