It is a practical issue to make professional resource planning towards low light environment such as museums, so as to achieve the optimal visual experience. This work aims at such scenes, and manages to deal with them from the perspective of vision computing-based optimal planning. Therefore, a smart optimal resource planning method for low light environment in museum based on convolutional vision computing network, is proposed in this paper. Based on the expected visual effect and light environment adaptation data in realistic situation, a convolution operations-based neural computing structure is developed to implement extraction and fusion of visual characteristics. And output of this part is further utilized for following digital evaluation of visual effect. At last, simulation experiments of the proposal are conducted to assess running effect of the proposal. The results show that time efficiency of proposal is reduced by 23.8% and the accuracy rate is improved by 12% compared with the U-net model. In this paper, we focus on two tasks: semantic segmentation and target detection in the visual semantic understanding of tennis sports images and we optimize the network structure to achieve a more complete location contour information mining of the target. In detail, we focus on a weakly supervised image semantic segmentation method based on null convolution pixel relations. To address the problem of incomplete pixel-level pseudo-labeling, we introduce a cavity convolution unit with multiple cavity rates and a self-attentive mechanism in the classification model to adaptively enhance the target regions and suppress other irrelevant regions while expanding the perceptual field to generate high-quality pixel-level pseudo-labeling and then train the semantic segmentation model. The final experimental results show that the hierarchical fusion algorithm proposed in this paper significantly outperforms other algorithms, and the overall classification accuracy of the tandem cavity neural network algorithm reaches 81% with good overall classification results. Corporate social media has become the most important way for corporate employees to record their lives, express opinions, share and communicate, and it is also one of the reliable and real-time sources of big data that reflects the true state of English learners. Real, accurate, and timely enterprise social media big data samples contain an enormous educational value, providing more possibilities for educational research. From the perspective of value, through sentiment analysis, topic mining, social network analysis, etc. on social media big data, learner portraits can be realized, thereby providing decision-making reference and support for stakeholders. This paper first builds a learning interest classification model based on TCNN-GRU deep learning, collects experimental data sets from an online English learner's social media platform and performs learning interest classification and labeling, and then uses the TCNN-GRU model to determine the user's learning interest tendency. On this basis, the concept of learning interest index is further proposed, and a neural network-based corporate social platform English learner portrait model is established. Image semantic segmentation technology is one of the core research contents in the field of computer vision. With the improvement of computer performance and the continuous development of deep learning technology, researchers have more and more enthusiasm to study the actual effect and performance of image semantic segmentation. The results of deep semantic segmentation allow computers to have a more detailed and accurate understanding of images, and have a wide range of application needs in the fields of autonomous driving, intelligent security, medical imaging, remote sensing images, etc. However, the existing image semantic segmentation algorithms have the disadvantages of easy discontinuous results and insufficient prediction accuracy. In this paper, we take deep learning-based image semantic segmentation technology as the research object to explore the improvement of the image semantic segmentation algorithm and its application in road scenarios. First, this paper proposes MCU-Net method based on residual fusion and multi-scale contextual information. MCU-Net uses residual fusion module to deepen the network structure and improve the ability of U-Net to acquire deeper features. Then a top-down and bottom-up path is constructed for feature information between different levels, and the spatial and semantic information contained in shallow and deep features in the network is fully utilized by fusing features from different levels. In addition, an enhanced void space pyramid pooling module is added for feature information between the same levels, which enables the output features to have a larger range of semantic information. Second, this paper proposes the DAMCU-Net method based on attention mechanism and edge detection based on MCU-Net. DAMCU-Net extracts global contextual information by the attention mechanism optimization module, while fusing features using dense jump connections to facilitate the network to recover more spatial detail information during upsampling, and uses the FReLU activation function to improve the segmentation capability of the network for complex targets. For the edge information lost in the feature extraction process, the edge detection branch is added to supplement the feature information of the main path by feature fusion to achieve the optimization of the edge information. This paper aims to propose an improved image classification model to reduce the cost of model construction. Aiming at the problem that network training usually requires the support of a large number of labeled samples, an image classification model based on semi-supervised deep learning is proposed, which uses labeled samples to guide the network to learn unlabeled samples. A convolutional neural network model for simultaneous processing of labeled and unlabeled data is constructed. The tagged data is used to train the Softmax classifier and provide the initial K-means clustering center for the untagged data. The nonsubsampling contourlet layer is used to replace the first convolutional layer of the full convolutional neural network to extract multi-scale depth features, and the nonsubsampling contourlet full convolutional neural network is constructed. The network can extract multi-scale information of the images to be classified, and extract more discriminative deep image features. In addition, the parameters of the nonsubsampled contourlet layers are pre-set and do not require network training. The proposed method has higher classification accuracy than the contrast method on polarimetric SAR images using the nonsubsampled contourlet full convolutional neural network. As information technology expands across industries in the age of deep learning, companies face new changes in their credit assessment methods. One of the difficulties in financing food enterprises stems from the complexity of investment in reviewing enterprises' credit. Therefore, this paper proposes a deep learning-based credit prediction and evaluation model for food enterprises, which performs well on the dataset and achieves 85.73% and 88.56% accuracy in verifying the performance and default test samples, respectively. In addition, the model was confirmed to have good robustness through ablation experiments. "Fake news" refers to the deliberate dissemination of news with the purpose to deceive and mislead the public. This paper assesses the accuracy of several Machine Learning (ML) algorithms, using a style-based technique that relies on textual information extracted from news, such as part of speech counts. To expand the already proposed styled-based techniques, a new method of enhancing a linguistic feature set is proposed. It combines Named Entity Recognition (NER) with the Frequent Pattern (FP) Growth association rule mining algorithm, aiming to provide better insight into the papers' sentence level structure. Recursive feature elimination was used to identify a subset of the highest performing linguistic characteristics, which turned out to align with the literature. Using pre-trained word embeddings, document embeddings and weighted document embeddings were constructed using each word's TF-IDF value as the weight factor. The document embeddings were mixed with the linguistic features providing a variety of training/test feature sets. For each model, the best performing feature set was identified and fine-tuned regarding its hyper parameters to improve accuracy. ML algorithms' results were compared with two Neural Networks: Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Long-Short-Term Memory (LSTM). The results indicate that CNN outperformed all other methods in terms of accuracy, when companied with pre-trained word embeddings, yet SVM performs almost the same with a wider variety of input feature sets. Although style-based technique scores lower accuracy, it provides explainable results about the author's writing style decisions. This paper proposes a method that considers the bus net Fuzzy control strategy quickly and accurately for power. Due to the intermittent and fluctuating characteristics of distributed generation units in microgrid, the power quality will be reduced and the normal operation of microgrid will be affected. In this paper, empirical modal analysis fused with convolutional neural network algorithm is applied to the power control strategy of microgrid energy storage system to improve the economy and reliability of microgrid. The design process of the controller is analyzed, and fuzzy rules and membership functions are designed according to the effect requirements of the controller. Then, the center of gravity method is used to obtain the output power of the energy storage system. The simulation results show that the configuration scheme based on the optimization of the hybrid energy storage system in the whole life cycle in this paper not only ensures the stability of the energy storage system but also effectively avoids power fluctuations and stabilizes the peak shaving and valley filling rate. An effective traffic flow prediction can serve as a foundation for control decisions on intelligent transportation. However, in view of the nonstationarity and complexity of traffic flow sequences, it is impossible to fully extract the dynamic change laws of time-series based on traditional forecasting models. Traffic flow data are often disturbed by noise during the collection. The existence of noise data may affect the features of the sequence itself or cover the real change trend of the series, resulting in the decline of prediction reliability. A hybrid prediction model based on variational mode decomposition–convolutional neural network–gated recurrent unit (VMD–CNN–GRU) is presented to increase the predictability of traffic flow, which is combined by VMD, CNN and GRU. First, the original time-series is decomposed into K components by VMD, and the noise part is eliminated to improve the modeling accuracy. Next, the time characteristics of traffic flow are mined by constructing the CNN–GRU network in Keras, a deep learning framework. Each sub-sequence is trained and predicted separately as an input vector. The total expected value of traffic flow is then calculated by superimposing the predicted value of each subsequence. The model performance is verified by the open-source dataset of actual England highways. The results show that compared with other models, the hybrid model established in this paper significantly raises the precision of traffic flow forecasting. In this paper, a method based on deep learning to detect abnormal traffic of IoTs in edge computing environment is proposed. Firstly, the data are preprocessed by data cleaning, normalization, oversampling and undersampling, and data set segmentation to obtain a data set with balanced data distribution. Secondly, a method of calculating feature information based on data increment is adopted, which can accurately extract feature information from the dynamic data flow. Finally, the convolution neural network (CNN) is used to extract the local features of the data, and the bi-directional gated loop unit (BiGRU) is used to extract the long sequence correlation of the data. The two networks work together to extract data features. The self-focus mechanism is introduced to deal with redundant data. Experiments show that the accuracy, recall and F 1 value of the proposed method are 97.36%, 98.38% and 97.16%, respectively, in the normal class, which are higher than the comparison algorithm. In this paper, we consider the issue of digital camera identification based on images. This topic matches the area of digital forensics. The problem is well known in the literature and many algorithms based on camera's fingerprint have been proposed. In this paper, we discuss the digital camera identification based on convolutional neural networks (CNN). CNNs are state-of-the-art method in computer vision and are widely utilized in many applications. Our goal is to find out whether it is possible to speed up the process of learning the networks by the images. We conduct a set of representative experiments which show that replacing the ReLU with SELU activation function and adjusting the network's hyperparamethers (e.g. learning rate) may have a significant impact on reduction time of learning. We also consider using the dropout layer. The experiments are held on representative image dataset, consisting of many images coming from modern cameras and show effectiveness of our propositions. One of the design objectives of a product is to create a positive emotional user experience. Through careful design, the product can evoke emotional resonance in users and stimulate their pleasure and satisfaction. Therefore, emotion recognition is crucial for parameterized product design. Considering that emotion recognition based on electroencephalogram (EEG) signals is more objective and accurate compared to methods such as text and surveys, this paper proposes an emotion analysis model based on long short-term memory (LSTM) and EEG and applies it to parameterized design. The main contributions of this paper are as follows. (1) Constructing a high-accuracy emotion recognition model. First, EEG data reflecting the characteristic patterns of brain activities in different emotional states are collected through EEG electrodes. Then, the EEG data are input into the LSTM network for training, enabling it to learn and capture the features associated with emotional states. During the training process, the model learns to extract crucial emotional features from the EEG data for emotion state recognition. This model can automatically learn emotional features, handle long-term dependencies and provide a more accurate and reliable solution for emotion recognition tasks. (2) Creating an EEG dataset specifically for evaluating emotions related to a product and using the trained emotion recognition model to classify this dataset, obtaining emotion classification results. The emotion classification results can be used to determine which parameter designs in product development need to be retained or discarded. In the production process of the communication circulator, defects such as solder joints, missing pieces, and wool may appear due to the current processing technology. The current communication circulator detection relies on manual experience for identification and classification. This method seriously affects production efficiency; and visual fatigue, physical condition, and working environment will affect the accuracy of manual detection; therefore, the production line of communication circulators urgently needs to be online automatic detection system. This paper will design a set of the stable automatic detection system. The main contributions are: (1) In the sample collection stage, by enhancing the limited samples, it proposes the morphological transformation of the limited defects themselves to realize the diversification of the number of samples and the morphology; (2) By reusing a sample, a cascaded Faster-RCNN and You Only Look Once (YOLO) target detection method is proposed, and the Faster-RCNN and YOLO models are trained, respectively; the model training stage uses migration learning and optimization of hyperparameters to obtain higher accuracy high training model; (3) In the inference stage, by cascading the two excellent target detection algorithms, Faster-RCNN and YOLO, this paper proposes a new decision conflict resolution algorithm, and finally obtains a higher comprehensive detection accuracy; (4) In the deployment phase, in view of the increased performance and computing power overhead caused by algorithm cascading, this paper proposes a solution for graphics processing unit shard sharing. Experimental results explain: The communication circulator surface defect detection system based on the deep learning method can effectively locate and identify various defects. The final recognition accuracy rate is about 98.5%, and the recognition speed can reach about 0.45, which is compared with traditional detection methods, which greatly improves the accuracy and speed of recognition. The emotional well-being of college students is of utmost significance. The psychological states of college students who are on the verge of entering the social work field form the key factor that directly influences the quality of social construction because these students constitute the primary driving force in the field. On the other hand, the overwhelming amount of schoolwork, the intense level of competitiveness, and the undeveloped psychological qualities of college students are the primary contributors to their mental health problems. Currently, an increasing number of college students are struggling with mental health issues, which will have a significant impact on the growth of families and schools and the future construction of the nation. In this paper, deep features and a multiview fuzzy clustering technique are presented, as well as a mental health assessment model (CNN-MV-MEC) that is proposed for college students. The primary purpose of this research is to determine the mental state of the input sample by classifying and identifying an EEG that was acquired through the application of CNN-MV-MEC. If a certain number of samples are found to be in negative emotional states on a regular basis or for an extended period of time, this indicates that the sample most likely contains individuals who struggle with mental health issues. At this point in time, university officials are in a position to implement follow-up mental health management actions based on the outcomes of the model evaluation process. The primary contributions of this study are as follows. First, to extract the deep features from the given dataset, this paper makes use of a traditional convolutional neural network (CNN). In the second step, a classification model is trained using a multiview maximum entropy clustering (MV-MEC) technique. In the final step, the input test data are categorized by employing the trained classification model to determine the emotional state of the sample. Aiming at the low accuracy of the track signal intrusion detection (IDe) algorithm in the traditional cloud-side collaborative computing environment, this paper proposes a deep learning (D-L)-based track signal IDe method in the cloud edge collaborative computing environment. First, the main framework of the IDe method is constructed by comprehensively considering the backbone network, network transmission and ground equipment, and edge computing (EC) is introduced to cloud services. Then, the The CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks)-attention-based BiLSTM (Bi-directional Long Short-Term Memory) neural network is used in the cloud center layer of the system to train the historical data, a D-L method is proposed. Finally, a pooling layer and a dropout layer are introduced into the model to effectively prevent the overfitting of the model and achieve accurate detection of track signal intrusion. The purpose of introducing the pooling layer is to accelerate the model convergence, remove the redundancy and reduce the feature dimension, and the purpose of introducing the dropout layer is to prevent the overfitting of the model. Through simulation experiments, the proposed IDe method and the other three methods are compared and analyzed under the same conditions. The results show that the F1 value of the method proposed in this paper is optimal under four different types of sample data. The F1 value is the lowest of 0.948 and the highest of 0.963. The performance of the algorithm is better than the other three comparison algorithms. The method proposed in this paper is important for solving the IDe signal in the cloud-edge cooperative environment, and also provides a theoretical basis for tracking the signal IDe direction. This paper presents an in-depth research analysis on the evaluation of the development quality of regional economy through an improved convolutional neural network algorithm, and uses it to design a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model for the practical process. Based on the measured indices of different variables, a spatial econometric model is constructed and provincial panel data are selected to empirically analyze the impact and spatial spillover effects of financial agglomeration and technological innovation on regional economic quality development from both static and dynamic aspects and to examine the spatial correlation of the factors. A new serial data flow model is adopted, which optimizes the control of data flow in convolutional computation, reduces the percentage of clock cycles used to read memory data, and increases the computational efficiency. At the same time, with dynamic data caching, a convolutional computation can be completed in one clock cycle, reducing the memory capacity required for caching intermediate data. The effectiveness of the evaluation system constructed in this paper is further tested. Most of the indicators have a significant positive or negative impact on the quality level of economic development, and the direction of the impact is consistent with the positive and negative attributes of the indicators in this study, which verifies the validity of the evaluation indicator system constructed in this paper. Universities play a huge role in the cultivation of talents. Especially in the context of internationalization, the teaching of English as a common language is becoming more and more important. This paper introduced the traditional methods for evaluating the quality of English teaching, established a deep learning algorithm for evaluating the quality of English teaching with the evaluation indicators of the traditional methods combined with the convolutional neural network (CNN) algorithm, conducted simulation experiments on the CNN algorithm, and compared it with the support vector machine (SVM) algorithm. The results showed that the scores obtained by the CNN algorithm had some errors with the actual scores but were much lower than the scores obtained by the SVM algorithm, and the CNN algorithm consumed a shorter time in computing. This paper used the CNN algorithm combined with evaluation indexes constructed by the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method to evaluate the quality of English teaching and verified the effectiveness of the CNN algorithm through a comparison with the SVM algorithm, which provides an effective reference for intelligent evaluation of English teaching quality. The paper considers a class of discrete-time cellular neural networks (DT-CNNs) obtained by applying Euler's discretization scheme to standard CNNs. Let T be the DT-CNN interconnection matrix which is defined by the feedback cloning template. The paper shows that a DT-CNN is convergent, i.e. each solution tends to an equilibrium point, when T is symmetric and, in the case where T + E n is not positive-semidefinite, the step size of Euler's discretization scheme does not exceed a given bound ( E n is the n × n unit matrix). It is shown that two relevant properties hold as a consequence of the local and space-invariant interconnecting structure of a DT-CNN, namely: (1) the bound on the step size can be easily estimated via the elements of the DT-CNN feedback cloning template only; (2) the bound is independent of the DT-CNN dimension. These two properties make DT-CNNs very effective in view of computer simulations and for the practical applications to high-dimensional processing tasks. The obtained results are proved via Lyapunov approach and LaSalle's Invariance Principle in combination with some fundamental inequalities enjoyed by the projection operator on a convex set. The results are compared with previous ones in the literature on the convergence of DT-CNNs and also with those obtained for different neural network models as the Brain-State-in-a-Box model. With the rapid development of deep learning technology, object detection algorithms have made significant breakthroughs in the field of computer vision. However, due to the complexity and computational requirements of deep Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), these models face many challenges in practical applications, especially on resource-constrained edge devices. To address this problem, researchers have proposed many lightweight methods that aim to reduce the model size and computational complexity while maintaining high performance. The popularity of mobile devices and embedded systems has led to an increasing demand for lightweight models. However, existing lightweight methods often lead to accuracy loss, limiting their feasibility in practical applications. Therefore, how to realize the light weight of the model while maintaining high accuracy has become an urgent problem to be solved. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a lightweight YOLOv7 method based on PConv, Squeeze-and-Excitation (SE) attention mechanism and Wise-IoU (WIoU), which we refer to as YOLOv7-PSW. PConv can effectively reduce the number of parameters and computational complexity. The SE can help the model focus on important feature information, thereby improving performance. WIoU is introduced to measure the similarity between the detection box and the Ground Truth, so that the model can effectively reduce the False Positive rate. By applying these advanced techniques to the YOLOv7, we achieve a lightweight model while maintaining a high detection accuracy. Experimental results on PASCAL VOC dataset show that YOLOv7-PSW performs better than the original YOLOv7 on object detection tasks. The number of parameters is reduced by 12.3%, FLOPs is reduced by 18.86%, and the accuracy is improved by about 0.5%. While the detection accuracy is not decreased or even slightly improved, the number of FLOPs and parameters is greatly reduced, which realizes lightweight to a certain extent. The proposed method can provide new ideas and directions for the subsequent research on lightweight object detection, and is expected to promote its application on edge devices. Meanwhile, YOLOv7-PSW can also be applied to other computer vision tasks to improve its performance and efficiency. To accurately describe the thermal comfort of indoor occupant used to regulate heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system is a key goal to reduce energy consumption in intelligent buildings. In this paper, we propose a noncontact measurement of occupant thermal discomfort behavior as an index of thermal comfort. The method takes the existing monitoring image data in the building as the input to infer the occupant thermal discomfort directly, which saves the cost because there is no need to install new sensors in the building and the occupant does not need to wear additional equipment. The framework combined three channels of body posture, motion and performance information to infer occupant thermal discomfort behavior, it consists of a human detection and crop module, a posture analysis module, an optical flow extraction module and a 3D convolutional neural network module. The three channels describe the actions from different perspectives, and the proposed method makes full use of the complementarity of the three modalities to identify the occupant's thermal discomfort behaviors. Sixteen postures related to thermal discomfort were identified through a questionnaire, and 14,800 video clips containing these postures were collected for experimental evaluation. The results demonstrate the superior performances of our approach to the state-of-the-art techniques. Currently, there are many research studies that apply and improve mutation testing techniques including traditional mutation testing or first-order mutation testing, and higher-order mutation testing (HOMT) for evaluating the quality of the set of test data in particular, and the quality of test suites in general. The results of those studies have proven the effectiveness of mutation testing in the field of software testing. Mutation testing allows the quality of test cases to be automatically evaluated, thereby helping the testers to improve the quality in the design and execution of the software testing. Besides, these studies have also pointed out the main barriers in applying mutation testing techniques in practice. However, we are the first to introduce a method that can reduce the cost, but keep the quality of testing activity based on evaluating the quality of the mutation operator as well as the quality of the test cases. In this paper, we concentrate on two problems regarding higher-order mutation testing: Evaluating the quality of mutation operators as well as generated mutants and prioritizing test cases based upon its capability of killing mutants. This may help developers allocate suitably their resources during testing phase. Due to the harsh working environments of certain bridges, the bridge structural health monitoring systems (SHMs) are prone to error warning because of anomaly data. Therefore, it is of great significance to accurately classify and locate the anomaly data for effectively addressing these issues. This paper proposes a method for classifying and locating anomaly data utilizing one-dimensional monitoring data based on convolutional neural networks. Compared to previous research reliant on visual features, the proposed method has lower computational costs. By incorporating the anomaly data localization network, manual localization operations for data restoration are replaced. The analysis in this paper is based on monitoring data from a large-span cable-stayed bridge, along with artificially generated anomaly data. The two neural network frameworks proposed in this paper are trained and validated, showcasing precise classification and localization of anomaly data. Furthermore, the paper discusses the impact of common errors in labeling data categories and locating training samples in practical operations. The results demonstrate that even in the presence of noticeable yet non-extreme labeling errors in the training set, the proposed method still achieves accurate classification and localization, highlighting its robustness. Aiming at the limitations of existing algorithms of network intrusion detection in dealing with complex data of imbalance and high dimensionality, this paper proposes an intrusion detection algorithm based on convolutional neural network (CNN) and Light Gradient Boosting Machine (LightGBM). First, the data-type conversion, oversampling technology and image data conversion are included in the data preprocessing to make the data balanced and adapt to the input format. Then, by the convolutional layer, pooling layer and fully connected layer of the CNN model, the main features are abstracted from the converted image data. Finally, data of the main features is used for training and testing the LightGBM model, so as to get the final classification results. This paper uses KDDCUP99 dataset to carry out multi-classification experiments. By comparing the experiments before and after balancing the dataset, and comparing with similar algorithms, it verifies the superiority of the proposed algorithm in the classification performance of intrusion detection, especially for the minority attack classes. This paper starts from the basic principles of speech recognition, starting from acoustic models and features, and applies deep convolutional neural networks to speech recognition processing. It also introduces the overall process of speech recognition and mainstream algorithms to classify and summarize the speech recognition system. Due to the technological innovation of speech recognition and offline speech recognition systems, we found that traditional systems have low interactivity, poor flexibility, poor recognition command library, and other problems. In response to the aging trend in society and to Human Augmentation beings for home-based activities, this paper proposes an Abnormal Movement Detection system, using the common at-home movements of standing up and hand tremors while picking up items for abnormal movement verification. This can be easily applied in ordinary homes or long-term care institutions; for those living alone with limited resources, there is no longer any need to purchase expensive monitoring equipment to achieve improved quality of life. Therefore, this research collected and built the own dataset as the first important step of the study. The proposed Abnormal Movement Detection system is implemented by designing a deep learning network. Several issues, including the network architecture, the novel method of data augmentation and the scoring method of expanding the intervals between abnormality levels, are studied. For achieving the home-based real-time detection, there are four main contributions of this paper. The first is that a training dataset was collected and established: From this, the pathognomonic movement categories are easy to observe in home activities and geometric data augmentation can be used to improve the related home activity video collection. The second is the abnormal behavior detection architecture: This architecture has several important function blocks including detecting object, detecting action, inspecting abnormal movement and reminding event, using Convolutional Neural Network combined with Long Short-Term Memory (CNN + LSTM) as the core network for abnormal motion detection. With movement abnormality evaluation based on different levels, it can judge abnormal behaviors and conduct model training, performance evaluation and architecture optimization with both public domain datasets and the movement dataset collected in this research project. The third is the proliferation of new attributes in the videos: New attributes are added to the original videos through a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN), producing new training videos; the effectiveness of two different generation methods is evaluated. Finally, the algorithms developed in this paper are deployed on resource-constrained On-device Artificial Intelligence (AI). Activity videos from a total of 20 people were collected; in all, 53 videos of StandUp and 60 videos of PickUpItems were obtained to establish the training dataset. When CNN and LSTM network were added to Batch Normalization (BN), and Global Average Pooling (GAP) replaced Fully Connected (FC) layers, the accuracy rate reached 98.4%. In terms of data augmentation, geometric transformations and GAN were used to estimate the performance. The experimental results showed that the geometric transformation using brightness adjustment had the highest accuracy rate of 98.6%. Video surveillance involves petabytes of data storage requiring expensive hardware, which might also be time-inefficient. The aim of this article is, therefore, to develop an intelligent system capable of analyzing long sequences of videos captured from CCTV, helping to mitigate catastrophe and mitigate the violent threats faced by citizens every day, economically and efficiently. Existing models have achieved high accuracy on available datasets, the primary focus is to improve speed (time-efficient) of violence detection and use very little storage (economical) such that the system can be used in real-time. The paper presents an end-to-end hybrid solution for detecting violence in real-time video frames incorporating both human and weapon detection algorithms applied in a synchronized way. The focus of this article is to propose a generic HWVd (Human Weapon Violence detection) model to detect all kinds of public violence. HWVd is a three-tier ensemble model to detect violence in videos. The first tier is human detection, which uses a LightTrack framework. In the second tier, a Fast Region-based Convolutional Neural Network (F-RCNN) to detect any weapon in videos is used. The third tier uses a pre-trained VGG 19 (a pre-trained model of CNN) for spatial feature extraction and Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) to detect violent activity. Lastly, the output of this framework is sent to the Support Vector Machine to classify the activity as (i) violence not involving weapon, (ii) violence involving weapon and (iii) non-violent. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) plays a critical role in many scientific and engineering applications, with aerodynamic design optimization being a primary area of interest. Recently, there has been much interest in using artificial intelligence approaches to accelerate this process. One promising method is the graph convolutional neural network (GCN), a deep learning method based on artificial neural networks (ANNs). In this paper, we propose a novel GCN-based aerodynamic design optimization acceleration framework, GCN-based aerodynamic design optimization acceleration framework. The framework significantly improves processing efficiency by optimizing data flow and data representation. We also introduce a network model called GCN4CFD that uses the GCF framework to create a compact data representation of the flow field and an encoder–decoder structure to extract features. This approach enables the model to learn underlying physical laws in a space-time efficient manner. We then evaluate the proposed method on an airfoil aerodynamic design optimization task and show that GCN4CFD provides a significant speedup compared to traditional CFD solvers while maintaining accuracy. The theme of the paper is to emphasize the detection and classification of faults and their site location in the transmission line using machine learning techniques which help to indemnify the foul-up of the humans in identifying the site and type of occurrence of fault. Moreover, the transient stability is a supreme one in power systems and so the disturbances like faults are required to be separated to preserve the transient stability. In general, the protection of the transmission line includes the installation of relays at both ends of the line that constantly monitor voltages and currents and operate unless a fault occurs on a line. Therefore, this paper intends to introduce a novel transmission line protection model by exploiting the hybrid optimization concept to train the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Here, the fault detection, classification and site location are diagnosed by using CNN which is trained and tested by making use of diverse synthetic field data derived from the simulation models of distinct types of transmission lines. Hence, the location and the type of faults will be predicted by the CNN depending on the fault signal characteristics which are optimally trained by a new hybrid algorithm named Chicken Swarm Insisted Spotted Hyena (CSI-SH) Algorithm that hybrids both the concept of Spotted Hyena Optimization (SHO) and Chicken Swarm Optimization (CSO). Recently, there had been a massive group of people, who were being rapidly affected by melanoma. Melanoma is a form of skin cancer that develops on the skin's surface layer. This is primarily caused due to excessive skin exposure to UV radiation and severe sunburns. Thus, the early detection of melanoma can aid us to cure it completely. This paper intends to introduce a new melanoma detection framework with four main phases viz. segmentation, feature extraction, optimal feature selection, as well as detection. Initially, the segmentation process takes place to the input skin image via Fuzzy C-Means Clustering (FCM) approach. From the segmented image ( Im seg ) , some of the features such as Gray Level Run Length Matrix (GLRM), Local Vector Pattern (LVP), Local Binary Pattern (LBP), Local Directional Pattern (LDP) and Local Tetra Pattern (LTrP) are extracted. As the extracted features (F) suffered from the issue of "curse of dimensionality", this paper utilizes optimization to select optimal features, which makes the detection more precise. As a novelty, a new hybrid algorithm Particle-Assisted Moth Search Algorithm (PA-MSA) is introduced that hybridizes the concept of Moth Search Algorithm (MSA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), respectively. Deep learning technology has been widely used in the financial industry, primarily for improving financial time series prediction based on stock prices. To solve the problem of low fitting and poor accuracy in traditional stock price prediction models, this paper proposes a stock price prediction model based on stock price synchronicity and deep learning methods, which applied the stock price synchronicity theory in stock price trend analysis. This paper first uses the affinity propagation algorithm to build stock clusters, and then, based on convolution neural network (CNN), and feature weight to construct the stock price synchronicity factor. At last, the long short-term memory (LSTM) network with multifactor is built for stock price trend analysis. According to the theory of stock price synchronicity, the affinity propagation algorithm can find the potential related stocks of the target stock. The spatial data analysis ability of the CNN model provides a guarantee for the application in stock price synchronicity factor analysis. The LSTM model can better analyze the information contained in the stock price time series and predict the future price. The experimental results show that, compared with the traditional multilayer neural network model, the LSTM model has better accuracy in the trend prediction of the stock price. This paper proposes a novel hybrid embedding to enhance scope of word embeddings by augmenting these with natural language processing operations. We primarily focus on the proposal of new hybrid word embedding generated by augmenting BERT embedding vectors with polarity score. The paper further proposes a new deep learning architecture inspired by the use of convolutional neural network for feature extraction and a bidirectional recurrent network for contextual and temporal feature exploitation. Use of CNN with hybrid embedding allowed the network to extract even the higher-level styles in writing, while bidirectional RNN helped in understanding context. The paper justifies that the proposed architecture and hybrid embedding improves performance of sentiment classification system by performing a large number of experiments and testing on a number of deep learning architectures. Software defect prediction can detect modules that may have defects in advance and optimize resource allocation to improve test efficiency and reduce development costs. Traditional features cannot capture deep semantic and grammatical information, which limits the further development of software defect prediction. Therefore, it has gradually become a trend to use deep learning technology to automatically learn valuable deep features from source code or relevant data. However, most software defect prediction methods based on deep learning extraction features from a single information source or only use a single deep learning model, which leads to the fact that the extracted features are not comprehensive enough to affect the final prediction performance. In view of this, this paper proposes a Hierarchical Feature Ensemble Deep Learning (HFEDL) Approach for software defect prediction. Firstly, the HFEDL approach needs to obtain three types of information sources: abstract syntax tree (AST), class dependency network (CDN) and traditional features. Then, the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and the Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory based on Attention mechanism (BiLSTM+Attention) are used to extract different valuable features from the three information sources and multiple prediction sub-models are constructed. Next, all the extracted features are fused by a filter mechanism to obtain more comprehensive features and construct a fusion prediction sub-model. Finally, all the sub-models are integrated by an ensemble learning method to obtain the final prediction model. We use 11 projects in the PROMISE defect repository and evaluate our approach in both non-effort-aware and effort-aware scenarios. With the use of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) in the application of sensor signal processing system, it usually faces the urgent requirements of system integration, high throughput, hardware resource and energy efficiency. This paper introduces a resource efficient accelerator with general two-dimensional multiply-add array operator to focus on the characteristic of sensor signal processing, which can be applied to standard CNN, depth-wise CNN, Fully Connected (FC) layer for varied networks. Meanwhile, resource estimation model is also constructed to provide the exploration of parallel parameters for computing efficiency. Finally, a board-level verification is implemented to demonstrate the efficiency of proposed accelerator with common scene of LeNet and complex scene of MobileNetV1. Experimental results show that the Inferences Per Second (IPS) of 332225 and 1498 is realized with 100 MHz frequency. The corresponding efficiency is 88.84% and 61.09%, which outperforms other related works about CNN accelerator design in terms of signal processing. Drivers undergo a lot of stress that might cause distraction and might lead to an unfortunate incident. Emotional recognition via facial expressions is one of the most important field in the human–machine interface. The goal of this paper is to analyze the drivers' facial expressions in order to monitor their stress levels. In this paper, we propose FERNET — a hybrid deep convolutional neural network model for driver stress recognition through facial emotion recognition. FERNET is an integration of two DCNNs, pre-trained ResNet101V2 CNN and a custom CNN, ConvNet4. The experiments were carried out on the widely used public datasets CK + , FER2013 and AffectNet, achieving the accuracies of 99.70%, 74.86% and 70.46%, respectively, for facial emotion recognition. These results outperform the recent state-of-the-art methods. Furthermore, since a few specific isolated emotions lead to higher stress levels, we analyze the results for stress- and nonstress-related emotions for each individual dataset. At present, the informatization of basic education quality assessment has become a hot topic in the field of education and is playing an increasingly important role. Based on the theory of deep convolutional neural network, this paper adopts the methods of mathematical analysis and experimental research to construct a regional basic education quality assessment model. The model solves the data informatization problem of education quality assessment. In the simulation process, two key modules of data self-assessment and expert assessment of the deep convolutional neural network are realized by ASENET+SQL SERVER, and the assessment results are integrated by using the weighted average method and the fuzzy comprehensive assessment method. The experimental results show that the quantitative analysis of the quality assessment is carried out by using the logic and support relationship, and the results of comprehensive qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis are realized and segmented when the threshold level is 9, the MIOU obtains the highest value of 0.7501, and the MIOU of the multi-stage method of the quality evaluation model proposed in this paper is 0.8116, which is 6.15% points higher than the traditional multi-stage algorithm, which effectively improves the current stage area quality of basic education. Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and Diabetic Macular Edema (DME) are two common retinal diseases for elder people that may ultimately cause irreversible blindness. Timely and accurate diagnosis is essential for the treatment of these diseases. In recent years, computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) has been deeply investigated and effectively used for rapid and early diagnosis. In this paper, we proposed a method of CAD using vision transformer to analyze optical coherence tomography (OCT) images and to automatically discriminate AMD, DME, and normal eyes. A classification accuracy of 99.69% was achieved. After the model pruning, the recognition time reached 0.010 s and the classification accuracy did not drop. Compared with the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) image classification models (VGG16, Resnet50, Densenet121, and EfficientNet), vision transformer after pruning exhibited better recognition ability. Global food security can be influenced by the diseases in crop plants as several diseases straightforwardly influence the quality of the grains, vegetables, fruits, etc., which also results in affecting of agricultural productivity. Like other plants, the mango tree is also affected by several diseases, and also the identification of multi-disease classification with a single leaf is more complex, and also it is impossible to detect diseases with bare eyes. Based on the other plants, the mango tree is also affected by various diseases, which is more difficult to detect the disorders with bare eyes. It is error-prone, inconsistent, and unreliable. Here, the mango trees are affected during the production, and also affect the plant health regarding multi-diseases. When the plants are affected by the diseases, it may cause fewer amounts of productivity, as a result, impacting the economy. However, it is more critical to detect plant diseases with the large varieties of trees and plants. Various research tasks on deep learning approaches focus on identifying the diseases in plants including leaves and fruits. Thus, the main objective of this paper is to implement an effective and appropriate technique for diagnosing mango tree diseases and their symptoms through fruit and leaf images, and thus, there is a need for an appropriate system for cost-effective and early solutions to this problem. Hence, the main intention of this work is to implement an efficient and suitable technique for diagnosing mango tree diseases and also identify the symptoms through fruit and leaf images. Intending to overcome the existing challenges, there is a need for an appropriate system for achieving cost-effectiveness and also creating an early solution to resolve this problem. This paper intends to present novel deep learning models for mango tree multi-disease classification. Initially, the data collection is done for gathering the diseased parts of the mango tree in terms of leaf and fruit images. Then, the contrast enhancement of the images is performed by the "Contrast-Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE)". For the deep feature extraction of leaf images, and fruit images, Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is employed, and the features from both inputs are concatenated for further processing. Further, the weighted feature selection is adopted for selecting the most significant features by the Adaptive Squirrel-Grey Wolf Search Optimization (AS-GWSO). Enhanced "Long Short Term Memory (LSTM)" is applied in the classification part with parameter optimization using the same AS-GWSO for enhancing classification accuracy. At last, the results of the designed system on various mango tree diseases verify that the designed approach has yielded the highest accuracy by evaluating conventional approaches. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide. Therefore, early diagnosis remains essential to allow access to appropriate curative treatment strategies. This paper presents a novel approach to assess the ability of Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) images for the classification of lung cancer in association with artificial intelligence techniques. We have built, in this work, a multi output Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) as a tool to assist the staging of patients with lung cancer. The TNM staging system as well as histologic subtypes classification were adopted as a reference. The VGG 16 network is applied to the PET/CT images to extract the most relevant features from images. The obtained features are then transmitted to a three-branch classifier to specify Nodal (N), Tumor (T) and histologic subtypes classification. Experimental results demonstrated that our CNN model achieves good results in TN staging and histology classification. The proposed architecture classified the tumor size with a high accuracy of 0.94 and the area under the curve (AUC) of 0.97 when tested on the Lung-PET-CT-Dx dataset. It also has yielded high performance for N staging with an accuracy of 0.98. Besides, our approach has achieved better accuracy than state-of-the-art methods in histologic classification. Image denoising is a fundamental problem in computer vision (CV). Vision Transformer (ViT) is an improvement in CV after convolutional neural networks (CNNs). Recently, it has been demonstrated that the RepVGG network of the structural re-parameterization performs well in image tasks. Experiments indicate that the ViT-based uniformer transformer network has successfully balanced local and global information. As image denoising tasks require more local and global information about the image, a novel image denoising model named structural Re-parameterization Uniformer Transformer-UNet (Rep-UUNet) is proposed in this paper. The model is structural and re-parameterized the structure of the Uniformer Transformer network and uses the UNet skip connections to reconstruct the output image. To complete image downstream tasks, the RepVGG model which utilizes the image local information is used. Indicators such as PSNR, SSIM and others are used to assess the performance of image denoising. Experimental results demonstrate that our Rep-UUNet network model outperforms other five models. Nowadays, YOLOv5 is one of the most popular object detection network architectures used in real-time and industrial systems. Traffic management and regulation are typical applications. To take advantage of the YOLOv5 network and develop a parking management tool, this paper proposes a car detection network based on redesigning the YOLOv5 network architecture. This research focuses on network parameter optimization using lightweight modules from EfficientNet and PP-LCNet architectures. On the other hand, this work also presents an aerial view dataset for car detection tasks in the parking, named the AVPL. The proposed network is trained and evaluated on two benchmark datasets which are the Car Parking Lot Dataset and the Pontifical Catholic University of Parana+ Dataset and one proposed dataset. The experiments are reported on mAP@0.5 and mAP@0.5:0.95 measurement units. As a result, this network achieves the best performances at 95.8%, 97.4%, and 97.0% of mAP@0.5 on the Car Parking Lot Dataset, the Pontifical Catholic University of Parana+ Dataset, and the proposed AVPL dataset, respectively. Facial emotion recognition (FER) is the technology or process of identifying and interpreting human emotions based on the analysis of facial expressions. It involves using computer algorithms and machine learning techniques to detect and classify emotional states from images or videos of human faces. Further, FER plays a vital role in recognizing and understanding human emotions to better interpret someone's feelings, intentions, and attitudes. In the present time, it is widely used in various fields such as healthcare, human–computer interaction, law enforcement, security, and beyond. FER has a wide range of practical applications across various industries including Emotion Monitoring, Adaptive Learning, and Virtual Assistants. This paper presents a comparative analysis of FER algorithms, focusing on deep learning approaches. The performance of different datasets, including FER2013, JAFFE, AffectNet, and Cohn–Kanade, is evaluated using convolutional neural networks (CNNs), deep face, attentional convolutional networks (ACNs), and deep belief networks (DBNs). Among the tested algorithms, DBNs outperformed other algorithms, reaching the highest accuracy of 98.82%. These results emphasize the effectiveness of deep learning techniques, particularly DBNs, in FER. Additionally, outlining the advantages and disadvantages of current research on facial emotion identification might direct future research efforts in the direction of the most profitable directions. In recent years, with the development of remote sensing technology and the enhancement of the value of remote sensing images in military and civil fields, remote sensing image object segmentation has also received more and more attention. This paper mainly studies the application of instance segmentation based on deep convolutional neural network in the remote sensing image. This paper proposes an attention balanced feature pyramid module, which strengthens multi-level features and uses the attention module to suppress the interference features of noise in the complex background. In addiction, Soft-NMS is introduced to improve the performance of the network, and GIoU loss is introduced to improve the effect of object detection. Rolling bearing is a key component with the high fault rate in the rotary machines, and its fault diagnosis is important for the safe and healthy operation of the entire machine. In recent years, the deep learning has been widely used for the mechanical fault diagnosis. However, in the process of equipment operation, its state data always presents unbalanced. Number of effective data in different states is different and usually the gap is large, which makes it difficult to directly conduct deep learning. This paper proposes a new data enhancement method combining the resampling and Conditional Wasserstein Generative Adversarial Networks-Gradient Penalty (CWGAN-GP), and uses the gray images-based Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to realize the intelligent fault diagnosis of rolling bearings. First, the resampling is used to expand the small number of samples to a large level. Second, the conditional label in Conditional Generative Adversarial Networks (CGAN) is combined with WGAN-GP to control the generated samples. Meanwhile, the Maximum Mean Discrepancy (MMD) is used to filter the samples to obtain the high-quality expanded data set. Finally, CNN is used to train the obtained dataset and carry out the fault classification. In the experiment, a single, compound and mixed fault cases of rolling bearings are successively simulated. For each case, the different sets considering the imbalance ratio of data are constructed, respectively. The results show that the method proposed significantly improves the fault diagnosis accuracy of rolling bearings, which provides a feasible way for the intelligent diagnosis of mechanical component with the complex fault modes and unbalanced small data.
