This paper discusses and provides some analytical studies for a modified fractional-order SIRD mathematical model of the COVID-19 epidemic in the sense of the Caputo–Katugampola fractional derivative that allows treating of the biological models of infectious diseases and unifies the Hadamard and Caputo fractional derivatives into a single form. By considering the vaccine parameter of the suspected population, we compute and derive several stability results based on some symmetrical parameters that satisfy some conditions that prevent the pandemic. The paper also investigates the problem of the existence and uniqueness of solutions for the modified SIRD model. It does so by applying the properties of Schauder’s and Banach’s fixed point theorems.

This paper is devoted to the study of the quadruple Roman domination in trees, and it is a contribution to the Special Issue “Theoretical computer science and discrete mathematics” of Symmetry. For any positive integer k, a [k]-Roman dominating function ([k]-RDF) of a simple graph G is a function from the vertex set V of G to the set {0,1,2,…,k+1} if for any vertex u∈V with f(u)&lt, k, ∑x∈N(u)∪{u}f(x)≥|{x∈N(u):f(x)≥1}|+k, where N(u) is the open neighborhood of u. The weight of a [k]-RDF is the value Σv∈Vf(v). The minimum weight of a [k]-RDF is called the [k]-Roman domination number γ[kR](G) of G. In this paper, we establish sharp upper and lower bounds on γ[4R](T) for nontrivial trees T and characterize extremal trees.

In this paper, some coefficient problems for starlike analytic functions with respect to symmetric points are considered. Bounds of several coefficient functionals for functions belonging to this class are provided. The main aim of this paper is to find estimates for the following: coefficients, logarithmic coefficients, some cases of the generalized Zalcman coefficient functional, and some cases of the Hankel determinant.

In this paper, we consider fractional ordinary differential equations and the fractional Euler–Poisson–Darboux equation with fractional derivatives in the form of a power of the Bessel differential operator. Using the technique of the Meijer integral transform and its modification, fundamental solutions to these equations are derived in terms of the Fox–Wright function, the Fox H-function, and their particular cases. We also provide some explicit formulas for the solutions to the corresponding initial-value problems in terms of the generalized convolutions introduced in this paper.

This paper provides three classes of q-summation formulas in the form of general contiguous extensions of the first q-Kummer summation theorem. Their derivations are presented by using three methods, which are along the lines of the three types of well-known proofs of the q-Kummer summation theorem with a key role of the q-binomial theorem. In addition to the q-binomial theorem, the first proof makes use of Thomae’s q-integral representation and the second proof needs Heine’s transformation. Whereas the third proof utilizes only the q-binomial theorem. Subsequently, the applications of these summation formulas in obtaining the general contiguous extensions of the second and the third q-Kummer summation theorems are also presented. Furthermore, the investigated results are specialized to give many of the known as well as presumably new q-summation theorems, which are contiguous to the three q-Kummer summation theorems. This work is motivated by the observation that the basic (or q-) series and basic (or q-) polynomials, especially the basic (or q-) gamma and q-hypergeometric functions and basic (or q-) hypergeometric polynomials, are applicable particularly in several diverse areas including Number Theory, Theory of Partitions and Combinatorial Analysis as well as in the study of Combinatorial Generating Functions. Just as it is known in the theory of the Gauss, Kummer (or confluent), Clausen and the generalized hypergeometric functions, the parameters in the corresponding basic or quantum (or q-) hypergeometric functions are symmetric in the sense that they remain invariant when the order of the p numerator parameters or when the order of the q denominator parameters is arbitrarily changed. A case has therefore been made for the symmetry possessed not only by hypergeometric functions and basic or quantum (or q-) hypergeometric functions, which are studied in this paper, but also by the symmetric quantum calculus itself.

In this paper, we propose the fractal (2 + 1)-dimensional Zakharov–Kuznetsov equation based on He’s fractal derivative for the first time. The fractal generalized variational formulation is established by using the semi-inverse method and two-scale fractal theory. The obtained fractal variational principle is important since it not only reveals the structure of the traveling wave solutions but also helps us study the symmetric theory. The finding of this paper will contribute to the study of symmetry in the fractal space.

The object of investigation in this paper is a scalar linear fractional differential equation with generalized proportional derivative of Riemann–Liouville type (LFDEGD). The main goal is the obtaining an explicit solution of the initial value problem of the studied equation. Note that the locally solvability, being the same as the existence of solutions to the initial value problem, is connected with the symmetry of a transformation of a system of differential equations. At the same time, several criteria for existence of the initial value problem for nonlinear fractional differential equations with generalized proportional derivative are connected with the linear ones. It leads to the necessity of obtaining an explicit solution of LFDEGD. In this paper two cases are studied: the case of no impulses in the differential equation are presented and the case when instantaneous impulses at initially given points are involved. All obtained formulas are based on the application of Mittag–Leffler function with two parameters. In the case of impulses, initially the appropriate impulsive conditions are set up and later the explicit solutions are obtained.

After the death of Peter Wynn in December 2017, manuscript documents he left came to our knowledge. They concern continued fractions, rational (Padé) approximation, Thiele interpolation, orthogonal polynomials, moment problems, series, and abstract algebra. The purpose of this paper is to analyze them and to make them available to the mathematical community. Some of them are in quite good shape, almost finished, and ready to be published by anyone willing to check and complete them. Others are rough notes, and need to be reworked. Anyway, we think that these works are valuable additions to the literature on these topics and that they cannot be left unknown since they contain ideas that were never exploited. They can lead to new research and results. Two unpublished papers are also mentioned here for the first time.

Power electronic converters are mathematically represented by a system of ordinary differential equations discontinuous right-hand side that does not verify the conditions of the Cauchy-Lipschitz Theorem. More generally, for the properties that characterize their discontinuous behavior, they represent a particular class of systems on which little has been investigated over the years. The purpose of the paper is to prove the existence of at least one global solution in Filippov’s sense to the Cauchy problem related to the mathematical model of a power converter and also to calculate the error in norm between this solution and the integral of its averaged approximation. The main results are the proof of this theorem and the analytical formulation that provides to calculate the cited error. The demonstration starts by a proof of local existence provided by Filippov himself and already present in the literature for a particular class of systems and this demonstration is generalized to the class of electronic power converters, exploiting the non-chattering property of this class of systems. The obtained results are extremely useful for estimating the accuracy of the averaged model used for analysis or control of the effective system. In the paper, the goodness of the analytical proof is supported by experimental tests carried out on a converter prototype representing the class of power electronics converter.

The aim of this paper is to show analytically and empirically how ant-based algorithms for medical image edge detection can be enhanced by using an admissible perturbation of demicontractive operators. We thus complement the results reported in a recent paper by the second author and her collaborators, where they used admissible perturbations of demicontractive mappings as test functions. To illustrate this fact, we first consider some typical properties of demicontractive mappings and of their admissible perturbations and then present some appropriate numerical tests to illustrate the improvement brought by the admissible perturbations of demicontractive mappings when they are taken as test functions in ant-based algorithms for medical image edge detection. The edge detection process reported in our study considers both symmetric (Head CT and Brain CT) and asymmetric (Hand X-ray) medical images. The performance of the algorithm was tested visually with various images and empirically with evaluation of parameters.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of n-dimensional Diamond-Alpha integral on time scales. In particular, it transforms into multiple Delta, Nabla and mixed integrals by taking different values of alpha. Some of its properties are explored, and the relationship between it and the multiple mixed integral is provided. As an application, we establish some weighted Ostrowski type inequalities through the new integral. These new inequalities expand some known inequalities in the monographs and papers, and in addition, furnish some other interesting inequalities. Examples of Ostrowski type inequalities are posed in detail at the end of the paper.

In this paper, we introduce a new representation of semiopenness of L-fuzzy sets in RL-fuzzy bitopological spaces based on the concept of pseudo-complement. The concepts of pairwise RL-fuzzy semicontinuous and pairwise RL-fuzzy irresolute functions are extended and discussed based on the (i,j)-RL-semiopen gradation. Further, pairwise RL-fuzzy semi-compactness of an L-fuzzy set in RL-fuzzy bitopological spaces are given and characterized. As RL-fuzzy bitopology is a generalization of L-bitopology, RL-bitopology, L-fuzzy bitopology, and RL-fuzzy topology, the results of our paper are more general.

The fractional integral is a function known for the elegant results obtained when introducing new operators, it has proved to have interesting applications. In the present paper, differential subordinations and superodinations for the fractional integral of the confluent hypergeometric function introduced in a previously published paper are presented. A sandwich-type theorem at the end of the original part of the paper connects the outcomes of the studies done using the dual theories.

In this paper we give some common fixed point theorems for Ćirić type operators in complex valued b-metric spaces. Also, some corollaries under this contraction condition are obtained. Our results extend and generalize the results of Hammad et al. In the second part of the paper, in order to strengthen our main results, an illustrative example and some applications are given.

This paper describes a number of simple but quite effective methods for constructing exact solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations that involve a relatively small amount of intermediate calculations. The methods employ two main ideas: (i) simple exact solutions can serve to construct more complex solutions of the equations under consideration and (ii) exact solutions of some equations can serve to construct solutions of other, more complex equations. In particular, we propose a method for constructing complex solutions from simple solutions using translation and scaling. We show that in some cases, rather complex solutions can be obtained by adding one or more terms to simpler solutions. There are situations where nonlinear superposition allows us to construct a complex composite solution using similar simple solutions. We also propose a few methods for constructing complex exact solutions to linear and nonlinear PDEs by introducing complex-valued parameters into simpler solutions. The effectiveness of the methods is illustrated by a large number of specific examples (over 30 in total). These include nonlinear heat equations, reaction–diffusion equations, wave type equations, Klein–Gordon type equations, equations of motion through porous media, hydrodynamic boundary layer equations, equations of motion of a liquid film, equations of gas dynamics, Navier–Stokes equations, and some other PDEs. Apart from exact solutions to `ordinary’ partial differential equations, we also describe some exact solutions to more complex nonlinear delay PDEs. Along with the unknown function at the current time, u=u(x,t), these equations contain the same function at a past time, w=u(x,t−τ), where τ&gt, 0 is the delay time. Furthermore, we look at nonlinear partial functional-differential equations of the pantograph type, which, in addition to the unknown u=u(x,t), also contain the same functions with dilated or contracted arguments, w=u(px,qt), where p and q are scaling parameters. We propose an efficient approach to construct exact solutions to such functional-differential equations. Some new exact solutions of nonlinear pantograph-type PDEs are presented. The methods and examples in this paper are presented according to the principle “from simple to complex”.

Some generalizations of the Gronwall&ndash, Bellman (G&ndash, B) inequality are presented in this paper in continuous form and on time scales. After S. Hilger introduced the time scales theory in 1988, over the years many mathematicians have studied new versions of this inequality according to new results, the purpose of this paper is to present some of them. Therefore, in the Introduction, some generalizations of G&ndash, B inequality in continuous forms, linear and nonlinear are presented. In the second section, some important and interesting results on time scales theory are given. In the third and main part of our paper, G&ndash, B inequalities on time scales and their possible connection with G&ndash, B inequalities presented in the introduction are investigated. In particular, in the third section of this work, more attention is given to G&ndash, B type inequalities on time scales discussed in the last four years.

This paper is concerned with a type of time-symmetric stochastic system, namely the so-called forward&ndash, backward doubly stochastic differential equations (FBDSDEs), in which the forward equations are delayed doubly stochastic differential equations (SDEs) and the backward equations are anticipated backward doubly SDEs. Under some monotonicity assumptions, the existence and uniqueness of measurable solutions to FBDSDEs are obtained. The future development of many processes depends on both their current state and historical state, and these processes can usually be represented by stochastic differential systems with time delay. Therefore, a class of nonzero sum differential game for doubly stochastic systems with time delay is studied in this paper. A necessary condition for the open-loop Nash equilibrium point of the Pontriagin-type maximum principle are established, and a sufficient condition for the Nash equilibrium point is obtained. Furthermore, the above results are applied to the study of nonzero sum differential games for linear quadratic backward doubly stochastic systems with delay. Based on the solution of FBDSDEs, an explicit expression of Nash equilibrium points for such game problems is established.

One of the main goals of this paper is to obtain new contractive conditions using the method of a strictly increasing mapping F:(0,+∞)→(−∞,+∞). According to the recently obtained results, this was possible (Wardowski’s method) only if two more properties (F2) and (F3) were used instead of the aforementioned strictly increasing (F1). Using only the fact that the function F is strictly increasing, we came to new families of contractive conditions that have not been found in the existing literature so far. Assuming that α(u,v)=1 for every u and v from metric space Ξ, we obtain some contractive conditions that can be found in the research of Rhoades (Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 1977, 222) and Collaco and Silva (Nonlinear Anal. TMA 1997). Results of the paper significantly improve, complement, unify, generalize and enrich several results known in the current literature. In addition, we give examples with results in line with the ones we obtained.

During the last few decades, domination theory has been one of the most active areas of research within graph theory. Currently, there are more than 4400 published papers on domination and related parameters. In the case of total domination, there are over 580 published papers, and 50 of them concern the case of product graphs. However, none of these papers discusses the case of rooted product graphs. Precisely, the present paper covers this gap in the theory. Our goal is to provide closed formulas for the total domination number of rooted product graphs. In particular, we show that there are four possible expressions for the total domination number of a rooted product graph, and we characterize the graphs reaching these expressions.

This paper is concerned with the orthogonal polynomials. Upper and lower bounds of Legendre polynomials are obtained. Furthermore, entropies associated with discrete probability distributions is a topic considered in this paper. Bounds of the entropies which improve some previously known results are obtained in terms of inequalities. In order to illustrate the results obtained in this paper and to compare them with other results from the literature some graphs are provided.

In this paper, we study some optimal inequalities of the Riccati type and of the Bihari type. We also consider nonoptimal inequalities of the Wendorf type. At the same time, we get a partial answer to Problems 5 and 9, formulated by I. A. Rus. This paper is also motivated by the fact that, in many inequalities, the upper bound is not an optimal one.

The present paper aims to construct an inequality for bi-warped product submanifolds in a special class of almost metric manifolds, namely nearly Kenmotsu manifolds. As geometric applications, some exceptional cases that generalized several other inequalities are discussed. We also deliberate some applications in the context of mathematical physics and derive a new relation between the Dirichlet energy and the second fundamental form. Finally, we present a constructive remark at the end of this paper which shows the motive of the study.

In this paper, we study Carlitz&rsquo, s type higher-order (p,q)-Genocchi polynomials. To be specific, we define Carlitz&rsquo, s type higher-order (p,q)-Genocchi polynomials and Carlitz&rsquo, s type higher-order (h,p,q)-Genocchi polynomials. This paper also explores properties including distribution relation and symmetric identities. In addition, we find alternating (p,q)-power sums. We identify symmetric identities using Carlitz&rsquo, s type higher-order (h,p,q)-Genocchi polynomials and alternating (p,q)-power sums.

The continuous and injective embeddings of closed curves in Hausdorff topological spaces maintain isometry in subspaces generating components. An embedding of a circle group within a topological space creates isometric subspace with rotational symmetry. This paper introduces the generalized algebraic construction of functional groups and its topological embeddings into normal spaces maintaining homeomorphism of functional groups. The proposed algebraic construction of functional groups maintains homeomorphism to rotationally symmetric circle groups. The embeddings of functional groups are constructed in a sequence in the normal topological spaces. First, the topological decomposition and associated embeddings of a generalized group algebraic structure in the lower dimensional space is presented. It is shown that the one-point compactification property of topological space containing the decomposed group embeddings can be identified. Second, the sequential topological embeddings of functional groups are formulated. The proposed sequential embeddings follow Schoenflies property within the normal topological space. The preservation of homeomorphism between disjoint functional group embeddings under Banach-type contraction is analyzed taking into consideration that the underlying topological space is Hausdorff and the embeddings are in a monotone class. It is shown that components in a monotone class of isometry are not separable, whereas the multiple disjoint monotone class of embeddings are separable. A comparative analysis of the proposed concepts and formulations with respect to the existing structures is included in the paper.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of cone metric space over a topological left module and we establish some coincidence and common fixed point theorems for self-mappings satisfying a condition of Lipschitz type. The main results of this paper provide extensions as well as substantial generalizations and improvements of several well known results in the recent literature. In addition, the paper contains an example which shows that our main results are applicable on a non-metrizable cone metric space over a topological left module. The article proves that fixed point theorems in the framework of cone metric spaces over a topological left module are more effective and more fertile than standard results presented in cone metric spaces over a Banach algebra.

The main purpose of this paper is to use the Hardy&ndash, Littlewood method to study the solvability of mixed powers of primes. To be specific, we consider the even integers represented as the sum of one prime, one square of prime, one cube of prime, and one biquadrate of prime. However, this representation can not be realized for all even integers. In this paper, we establish the exceptional set of this kind of representation and give an upper bound estimate.

This paper is devoted to the study of the stability of finite-dimensional distribution of time-inhomogeneous, discrete-time Markov chains on a general state space. The main result of the paper provides an estimate for the absolute difference of finite-dimensional distributions of a given time-inhomogeneous Markov chain and its perturbed version. By perturbation, we mean here small changes in the transition probabilities. Stability estimates are obtained using the coupling method.

This paper defines two new concepts: the concept of multivalued left-weighted mean contractions in the generalized sense of Nadler in a symmetric generalized metric space and the concept of multivalued right-weighted mean contractions in the generalized sense of Nadler in a symmetric generalized metric space, and demonstrates fixed-point theorems for them. For these, we demonstrated two fixed-point existence theorems and their corollaries, by using the properties of the regular-global-inf function and the properties of symmetric generalized metric spaces, respectively. Moreover, we demonstrated that the theorems can be applied in particular cases of inclusion systems. This article contains not only an example of application in science, but also an example of application in real life, in biology, in order to find an equilibrium solution to a prey&ndash, predator-type problem. The results of this paper extend theorems for multivalued left-weighted mean contractions in the generalized sense of Nadler, demonstrating that some of the results given by Rus (2008), Mureșan (2002), and Nadler (1969) in metric spaces can also be proved in symmetric generalized metric spaces.

Given a Khalimsky (for short, K-) topological space X, the present paper examines if there are some relationships between the contractibility of X and the existence of the fixed point property of X. Based on a K-homotopy for K-topological spaces, we firstly prove that a K-homeomorphism preserves a K-homotopy between two K-continuous maps. Thus, we obtain that a K-homeomorphism preserves K-contractibility. Besides, the present paper proves that every simple closed K-curve in the n-dimensional K-topological space, S C K n , l , n &ge, 2 , l &ge, 4 , is not K-contractible. This feature plays an important role in fixed point theory for K-topological spaces. In addition, given a K-topological space X, after developing the notion of K-contractibility relative to each singleton { x } ( &sub, X ) , we firstly compare it with the concept of K-contractibility of X. Finally, we prove that the K-contractibility does not imply the K-contractibility relative to each singleton { x 0 } ( &sub, X ) . Furthermore, we deal with certain conjectures involving the (almost) fixed point property in the categories KTC and KAC, where KTC (see Section 3) (resp. KAC (see Section 5)) denotes the category of K-topological (resp. KA-) spaces, KA-) spaces are subgraphs of the connectedness graphs of the K-topology on Z n .

The Maslov form is a closed form for a Lagrangian submanifold of C m , and it is a conformal form if and only if M satisfies the equality case of a natural inequality between the norm of the mean curvature and the scalar curvature, and it happens if and only if the second fundamental form satisfies a certain relation. In a previous paper we presented a natural inequality between the norm of the mean curvature and the scalar curvature of slant submanifolds of generalized Sasakian space forms, characterizing the equality case by certain expression of the second fundamental form. In this paper, first, we present an adapted form for slant submanifolds of a generalized Sasakian space form, similar to the Maslov form, that is always closed. And, in the equality case, we studied under which circumstances the given closed form is also conformal.

This paper studies the periodic solutions of a four-dimensional coupled polynomial system with N-degree homogeneous nonlinearities of which the unperturbed linear system has a center singular point in generalization resonance 1 : n at the origin. Considering arbitrary positive integers n and N with n ≤ N and N ≥ 2 , the new explicit expression of displacement function for the four-dimensional system is detected by introducing the technique on power trigonometric integrals. Then some precise and detailed results in comparison with the existing works, including the existence condition, the exact number, and the parameter control conditions of periodic solutions, are obtained, which can provide a new theoretical description and mechanism explanation for the phenomena of emergence and disappearance of periodic solutions. Results obtained in this paper improve certain existing results under some parameter conditions and can be extensively used in engineering applications. To verify the applicability and availability of the new theoretical results, as an application, the periodic solutions of a circular mesh antenna model are obtained by theoretical method and numerical simulations.

In the paper, the author gives a solution to a conjecture on a double inequality for a function involving the tri- and tetra-gamma functions, which was first posed in Remark 6 of the paper &ldquo, Complete monotonicity of a function involving the tri- and tetragamma functions&rdquo, (2015) and repeated in the seventh open problem of the paper &ldquo, On complete monotonicity for several classes of functions related to ratios of gamma functions&rdquo, (2019).

The aim of this paper is to study, from an algebraic point of view, the properties of interdependencies between sets of elements (i.e., pieces of secrets, atmospheric variables, etc.) that appear in various natural models, by using the algebraic hyperstructure theory. Starting from specific examples, we first define the relation of dependence and study its properties, and then, we construct various hyperoperations based on this relation. We prove that two of the associated hypergroupoids are Hv-groups, while the other two are, in some particular cases, only partial hypergroupoids. Besides, the extensivity and idempotence property are studied and related to the cyclicity. The second goal of our paper is to provide a new interpretation of the dependence relation by using elements of the theory of algebraic hyperstructures. Cílem našeho článku je studovat, z algebraického pohledu, vlastnosti závislostí mezi množinami prvků (atmosférické veličiny, sdílená tajemství apod.), které se objevují v různých obvyklých kontextecb. K tomuto studiu používáme algebraickou teorii hyperstruktur. Na konkrétních příkadech ukazujeme, jaké vlastnosti jsou vyžadovány a jak jim musí odpovídat definice tohoto pojmu. Ukazujeme, že dva z hypergrupoidů, které lze tímto způsobem přirozeně zkonstruovat, jsou Hv-grupy, zatímco jiné dva jsou parciální hypergrupoidy. Studujeme také extenzivitu a idempotentnost příslušných vlastností a jejich vztah k cyklicitě. Dalším cílem našeho článku je poskytnout nový pohled na zkoumanou problematiku právě zapojením algebraické teorie hyperstruktur.

In this paper, we present some Euler-like sums involving partial sums of the harmonic and odd harmonic series. First, we give a brief historical account of Euler&rsquo, s work on the subject followed by notations used in the body of the paper. After discussing some alternating Euler sums, we investigate the connection of integrals of inverse trigonometric and hyperbolic type functions to generate many new Euler sum identities. We also give some new identities for Catalan&rsquo, s constant, Apery&rsquo, s constant and a fast converging identity for the famous &zeta, ( 2 ) constant.

Recently, type 2 degenerate Euler polynomials and type 2 q-Euler polynomials were studied, respectively, as degenerate versions of the type 2 Euler polynomials as well as a q-analog of the type 2 Euler polynomials. In this paper, we consider the type 2 degenerate q-Euler polynomials, which are derived from the fermionic p-adic q-integrals on Z p , and investigate some properties and identities related to these polynomials and numbers. In detail, we give for these polynomials several expressions, generating function, relations with type 2 q-Euler polynomials and the expression corresponding to the representation of alternating integer power sums in terms of Euler polynomials. One novelty about this paper is that the type 2 degenerate q-Euler polynomials arise naturally by means of the fermionic p-adic q-integrals so that it is possible to easily find some identities of symmetry for those polynomials and numbers, as were done previously.

Starlike functions have gained popularity both in literature and in usage over the past decade. In this paper, our aim is to examine some useful problems dealing with q-starlike functions. These include the convolution problem, sufficiency criteria, coefficient estimates, and Fekete&ndash, Szeg&ouml, type inequalities for a new subfamily of analytic and multivalent functions associated with circular domain. In addition, we also define and study a Bernardi integral operator in its q-extension for multivalent functions. Furthermore, we will show that the class defined in this paper, along with the obtained results, generalizes many known works available in the literature.

The existence of a homogeneous geodesic in homogeneous Finsler manifolds was positively answered in previous papers. However, the result is not optimal. In the present paper, this result is refined and the existence of at least two homogeneous geodesics in any homogeneous Finsler manifold is proved. In a previous paper, examples of Randers metrics which admit just two homogeneous geodesics were constructed, which shows that the present result is the best possible.

The extending structures problem for strict Lie 2-algebras is studied. To provide the theoretical answer to this problem, this paper introduces the unified product of a given strict Lie 2-algebra g and 2-vector space V. The unified product includes some interesting products such as semi-direct product, crossed product, and bicrossed product. The paper focuses on crossed and bicrossed products, which give the answer to the extension problem and factorization problem, respectively.

In the paper, we introduce some subclasses of harmonic mapping, the analytic part of which is related to general starlike (or convex) functions with a symmetric conjecture point defined by subordination. Using the conditions satisfied by the analytic part, we obtain the integral expressions, the coefficient estimates, distortion estimates and the growth estimates of the co-analytic part g, and Jacobian estimates, the growth estimates and covering theorem of the harmonic function f. Through the above research, the geometric properties of the classes are obtained. In particular, we draw figures of extremum functions to better reflect the geometric properties of the classes. For the first time, we introduce and obtain the properties of harmonic univalent functions with respect to symmetric conjugate points. The conclusion of this paper extends the original research.

In this paper, we establish sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions for a nonlinear Langevin equation based on Liouville-Caputo-type generalized fractional differential operators of different orders, supplemented with nonlocal boundary conditions involving a generalized integral operator. The modern techniques of functional analysis are employed to obtain the desired results. The paper concludes with illustrative examples.

In this paper, we improve two known invariant subspace theorems. More specifically, we show that a closed linear subspace M in the Hardy space H p ( D ) ( 1 &le, p &lt, &infin, ) is invariant under the shift operator M z on H p ( D ) if and only if it is hyperinvariant under M z , and that a closed linear subspace M in the Lebesgue space L 2 ( &part, D ) is reducing under the shift operator M e i &theta, on L 2 ( &part, D ) if and only if it is hyperinvariant under M e i &theta, At the same time, we show that there are two large classes of invariant subspaces for M e i &theta, that are not hyperinvariant subspaces for M e i &theta, and are also not reducing subspaces for M e i &theta, Moreover,we still show that there is a large class of hyperinvariant subspaces for M z that are not reducing subspaces for M z . Furthermore, we gave two new versions of the formula of the reproducing function in the Hardy space H 2 ( D ) , which are the analogue of the formula of the reproducing function in the Bergman space A 2 ( D ) . In addition, the conclusions in this paper are interesting now, or later if they are written into the literature of invariant subspaces and function spaces.

In this paper, following Bagarello, Trapani, and myself, we generalize the Gibbs states and their related KMS-like conditions. We have assumed that H 0 , H are closed and, at least, densely defined, without giving information on the domain of these operators. The problem we address in this paper is therefore to find a dense domain D that allows us to generalize the states of Gibbs and take them in their natural environment i.e., defined in L &dagger, ( D ) .

In this paper a nonlinear system of Riemann&ndash, Liouville (RL) fractional differential equationswith non-instantaneous impulses is studied. The presence of non-instantaneous impulses requireappropriate definitions of impulsive conditions and initial conditions. In the paper several types ofinitial value problems are considered and their mild solutions are given via integral representations.In the linear case the equivalence of the solution and mild solutions is established. Conditions forexistence and uniqueness of initial value problems are presented. Several examples are providedto illustrate the influence of impulsive functions and the interpretation of impulses in the RLfractional case.

In this paper, we consider fault-tolerant resolving sets in graphs. We characterize n-vertex graphs with fault-tolerant metric dimension n, n &minus, 1 , and 2, which are the lower and upper extremal cases. Furthermore, in the first part of the paper, a method is presented to locate fault-tolerant resolving sets by using classical resolving sets in graphs. The second part of the paper applies the proposed method to three infinite families of regular graphs and locates certain fault-tolerant resolving sets. By accumulating the obtained results with some known results in the literature, we present certain lower and upper bounds on the fault-tolerant metric dimension of these families of graphs. As a byproduct, it is shown that these families of graphs preserve a constant fault-tolerant resolvability structure.

This paper is concerned with a class of the discrete Mackey–Glass model that describes the process of the production of blood cells. Prior to proceeding to the main results, we prove the boundedness and extinction of its solutions. By means of the contraction mapping principle and under appropriate assumptions, we prove the existence of almost periodic positive solutions. Furthermore and by the implementation of the discrete Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions are established for the exponential convergence of the almost periodic positive solution. Examples, as well as numerical simulations are illustrated to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical findings of the paper. Our results are new and generalize some previously-reported results in the literature.

In metric fixed point theory, the conditions like “symmetry„ and “triangle inequality„ play a predominant role. In this paper, we introduce a new kind of metric space by using symmetry, triangle inequality, and other conditions like self-distances are zero. In this paper, we introduce the weaker forms of integral type metric spaces, thereby we establish the existence of unique fixed point theorems. As usual, illustrations and counter examples are provided wherever necessary.

This paper is concerned with the radial symmetry weak positive solutions for a class of singular fractional Laplacian. The main results in the paper demonstrate the existence and multiplicity of radial symmetry weak positive solutions by Schwarz spherical rearrangement, constrained minimization, and Ekeland&rsquo, s variational principle. It is worth pointing out that our results extend the previous works of T. Mukherjee and K. Sreenadh to a setting in which the testing functions need not have a compact support. Moreover, we weakened one of the conditions used in their papers. Our results improve on existing studies on radial symmetry solutions of nonlocal boundary value problems.

In this paper, we analyze two discontinuous self-mappings that satisfy Sehgal-type inequalities in the setup of complete b-metric space. The main results of the paper cover and extend a few existing results in the corresponding literature. Furthermore, we give some illustrative examples to verify the effectiveness and strength of our derived results. Thereafter, as an application, we consider the obtained result to aggregate the existence and uniqueness of the solution for nonlinear Fredholm integral equations.

A multi-objective bi-matrix game model based on fuzzy goals is established in this paper. It is shown that the equilibrium solution of such a game model problem can be translated into the optimal solution of a multi-objective, non-linear programming problem. Finally, the results of this paper are demonstrated through a numerical example.

Since the characterization of Gromov hyperbolic graphs seems a too ambitious task, there are many papers studying the hyperbolicity of several classes of graphs. In this paper, it is proven that every Mycielskian graph G M is hyperbolic and that δ ( G M ) is comparable to diam ( G M ) . Furthermore, we study the extremal problems of finding the smallest and largest hyperbolicity constants of such graphs; in fact, it is shown that 5 / 4 ≤ δ ( G M ) ≤ 5 / 2 . Graphs G whose Mycielskian have hyperbolicity constant 5 / 4 or 5 / 2 are characterized. The hyperbolicity constants of the Mycielskian of path, cycle, complete and complete bipartite graphs are calculated explicitly. Finally, information on δ ( G ) just in terms of δ ( G M ) is obtained.
