We prove various results in infinite-dimensional differential calculus that relate the differentiability properties of functions and associated operator-valued functions (e.g., differentials). The results are applied in two areas: (1) in the theory of infinite-dimensional vector bundles, to construct new bundles from given ones, such as dual bundles, topological tensor products, infinite direct sums, and completions (under suitable hypotheses); (2) in the theory of locally convex Poisson vector spaces, to prove continuity of the Poisson bracket and continuity of passage from a function to the associated Hamiltonian vector field. Topological properties of topological vector spaces are essential for the studies, which allow the hypocontinuity of bilinear mappings to be exploited. Information is usually related to knowledge. Here, we present a broader picture in which information is associated with epistemic structures, which form cognitive infological systems as basic recipients and creators of cognitive information. Infological systems are modeled by epistemic spaces, while operators in these spaces are mathematical models of information. Information that acts on epistemic structures is called cognitive information, while information that acts on knowledge structures is called epistemic information. The latter brings new and updates existing knowledge, being of primary importance to people. In this paper, both types of information are studied as operators in epistemic spaces based on the general theory of information. As a synthetic approach, which reveals the essence of information, organizing and encompassing all main directions in information theory, the general theory of information provides efficient means for such a study. Different types of information dynamics representation use tools from various mathematical disciplines, such as the theory of categories, functional analysis, mathematical logic and algebra. In this paper, we base our exploration of information and knowledge dynamics on functional analysis further developing the mathematical stratum of the general theory of information. A method of the Riemann–Hilbert problem is employed for Zhang's conjecture 2 proposed in Philo. Mag. 87 (2007) 5309 for a ferromagnetic three-dimensional (3D) Ising model in a zero external magnetic field. In this work, we first prove that the 3D Ising model in the zero external magnetic field can be mapped to either a (3 + 1)-dimensional ((3 + 1)D) Ising spin lattice or a trivialized topological structure in the (3 + 1)D or four-dimensional (4D) space (Theorem 1). Following the procedures of realizing the representation of knots on the Riemann surface and formulating the Riemann–Hilbert problem in our preceding paper [O. Suzuki and Z.D. Zhang, Mathematics 9 (2021) 776], we introduce vertex operators of knot types and a flat vector bundle for the ferromagnetic 3D Ising model (Theorems 2 and 3). By applying the monoidal transforms to trivialize the knots/links in a 4D Riemann manifold and obtain new trivial knots, we proceed to renormalize the ferromagnetic 3D Ising model in the zero external magnetic field by use of the derivation of Gauss–Bonnet–Chern formula (Theorem 4). The ferromagnetic 3D Ising model with nontrivial topological structures can be realized as a trivial model on a nontrivial topological manifold. The topological phases generalized on wavevectors are determined by the Gauss–Bonnet–Chern formula, in consideration of the mathematical structure of the 3D Ising model. Hence we prove the Zhang's conjecture 2 (main theorem). Finally, we utilize the ferromagnetic 3D Ising model as a platform for describing a sensible interplay between the physical properties of many-body interacting systems, algebra, topology, and geometry. There is a family of vector bundles over the moduli space of stable curves that, while first appearing in theoretical physics, has been an active topic of study for algebraic geometers since the 1990s. By computing the rank of the exceptional Lie algebra g 2 case of these bundles in three different ways, a family of summation formulas for Fibonacci numbers in terms of the golden ratio is derived. Complex Electromagnetic Space (CEMS), which consists of physical space and the complex electromagnetic environment, plays an essential role in our daily life for supporting remote communication, wireless network, wide-range broadcast, etc. In CEMS, the electromagnetic activities might work differently from the ideal situation; the typical case is that undesired signal would disturb the echo of objects and overlap into it resulting in the mismatch of matched filter and the reduction of the probability of detection. The lacking mathematical description of CEMS resulting from the complexity of electromagnetic environment leads to the inappropriate design of detection method. Therefore, a mathematical model of CEMS is desired for integrating the electromagnetic signal in CEMS as a whole and considering the issues in CEMS accurately. This paper puts forward a geometric model of CEMS based on vector bundle, which is an abstract concept in differential geometry and proposes a geometric detector for change detection in CEMS under the geometric model. In the simulation, the proposed geometric detector was compared with energy detector and matched filter in two scenes: passive detection case and active detection case. The results show the proposed geometric detector is better than both energy detector and matched filter with 4∼5 dB improvements of SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) in two scenes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
