Biomass can serve as an important indicator for measuring the effectiveness of slope ecological restoration, and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) remote sensing provides technical support for the rapid and accurate measurement of vegetation biomass on slopes. Considering a highway slope as the experimental area, in this study, we integrate UAV data and Sentinel-2A images; apply a deep learning method to integrate remote sensing data; extract slope vegetation features from vegetation probability, vegetation indices, and vegetation texture features; and construct a slope vegetation biomass inversion model. The R2 of the slope vegetation biomass inversion model is 0.795, and the p-value in the F-test is less than 0.01, which indicates that the model has excellent regression performance and statistical significance. Based on laboratory biomass measurements, the regression model error is small and reasonable, with RMSE = 0.073, MAE = 0.064, and SE = 0.03. The slope vegetation biomass can be accurately estimated using remote-sensing images with a high precision and good applicability. This study will provide a methodological reference and demonstrate its application in estimating vegetation biomass and carbon stock on highway slopes, thus providing data and methodological support for the simulation of the carbon balance process in slope restoration ecosystems. The utilization of sulfur acid residue is an urgent problem confronting sulfuric acid production enterprises, especially the application of sulfur acid residue (SAR) containing lead and zinc. A method combining chlorination roasting using CaCl2 with pelletizing for processing SAR containing lead and zinc was used in this study, and the effect of calcium chloride on pelletizing performance was studied; in addition, the removal behavior of lead and zinc was also studied by using polarized light microscopy (Zeiss double Axioskop 40A), X ray diffraction, SEM and EDS. The results showed that CaCl2 migrated to the surface of the pellets during drying, and this phenomenon resulted in a lower removal rate of lead and zinc inside the pellets than outside the pellets during the preheating phase. When the roasting temperature was 1220 °C, with an increase in the basicity of pellets, the silicate minerals in the pellets gradually decomposed, the hematite particles were gradually refined, and more lead or zinc minerals were exposed, which further increased the removal rate of lead and zinc in the pellets. Finally, the SAR pellets with Pb and Zn removal rates up to 91.33 and 97.88%, and a compressive strength of 2789 N, could be obtained, which is very beneficial to the sustainable development of sulfuric acid mills. This study investigated the combustion characteristics of mixed straw char and coal powder when used in blast furnace injection. The experiments examined the effects of mixing ratios between biomass char types of wheat straw char, corn straw char as well as cotton straw char, and anthracite coal on combustion characteristics and the injection effect of blast furnace. The results show that a 1:1 mixing ratio of wheat straw char and anthracite coal yields the best combustion characteristics, followed by a 1:1 ratio of corn straw char and anthracite coal. A 2:1 mixture of cotton straw char and anthracite coal exhibits the highest combustion efficiency. The study on the grindability of the mixtures indicates that straw char is easier to grind due to its brittleness. Blast furnace coal injection experiments reveal that a 50:50 mixture of cotton straw char and anthracite coal achieves the highest combustion efficiency at 74%, which is a 20.2% improvement compared to mixtures of bituminous coal and anthracite coal, significantly outperforming the other ratios. While numerous studies have explored the mineralogical characteristics and purification techniques of high-purity quartz (HPQ), discussions on impurity control during various purification processes and their applications in photovoltaics, electronics, and optics remain limited. This review delves into the adverse effects of impurities such as aluminum, iron, and sodium in the manufacturing processes of these industries, emphasizing their critical role as these impurities can degrade material performance. This paper focuses on analyzing the types of impurities found in quartz and evaluates existing purification technologies such as acid washing, ultrasonic acid washing, chlorination roasting, and calcination quenching. It highlights the limitations of current technologies in processing quartz ore and discusses the advantages of different impurity types under various technological treatments. Moreover, it explores the environmental and economic impacts of these high-purity processes, underlining the necessity for more environmentally friendly and cost-effective purification techniques. The purpose of this review is to provide a comprehensive technical and strategic framework for the use of high-purity quartz in high-tech applications, supporting future research and industrial applications in this critical material field. The dysfunction of phospholipid metabolism enzymes and the change in membrane phospholipid composition are associated with insulin resistance, indicating that phospholipids play an important role in the regulation of insulin sensitivity. The reflection of phospholipid changes in blood might provide clues for both mechanism understanding and intervention. Using a targeted phospholipidomic approach, 199 phospholipid molecular species were identified and quantified in the plasma of 1053 middle-aged participants from a national investigation. The associations of the phospholipid matrix, clusters, and molecular species with insulin resistance were investigated. A significant association was confirmed between the phospholipid matrix and the homeostatic-model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) by a distance-based linear model. Furthermore, three clustered phospholipid modules and 32 phospholipid molecular species were associated with HOMA-IR with the strict control of demographic and lifestyle parameters, family history of diabetes, BMI, WC, and blood lipid parameters. The overall decline in lysophosphatidylcholines (LPCs), the decrease in saturated lysophosphatidylethanolamines (LPEs), the decrease in polyunsaturated/plasmenyl phosphatidylcholines (PCs), and the increase in polyunsaturated phatidylethanolamines (PEs) were the prominent characters of plasma phospholipid perturbation associated with insulin resistance. Toona ciliata var. pubescens, known as "Chinese mahogany", has high commercial value and is classified as a level II priority protected wild plant in China. However, due to overexploitation and its poor natural regeneration capacity, natural T. ciliata var. pubescens forests show varying degrees of decline in habitat adaptability. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) symbiosis presents a potential strategy to enhance its regeneration. In this study, T. ciliata var. pubescens seedlings were inoculated with Septoglomus viscosum, followed by RNA-Seq analysis to compare gene expression differences between AMF-inoculated (AMI) and non-mycorrhizal (NM) treatments three months post-inoculation. A total of 16,163 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were upregulated by AMF colonization, constituting 96.46% of the total DEGs. Specifically, 14,420 DEGs were exclusively expressed in the AMI treatment, while 35 DEGs were completely silenced. Most of the upregulated DEGs were located on the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoskeleton and functioned in protein binding, S-adenosylmethionine-dependent methyltransferase activity, and lipid binding during cellular/macromolecule/protein localization, intracellular/protein transport, the cell cycle, and signal transduction. Additionally, lots of key genes related to oxidative stress responses, nutrient transport, and small GTPase-mediated signal transduction were found to be upregulated. These results suggest that AMF inoculation may enhance root cell growth by activating genes involved in nutrient uptake, stress responses, signal transduction, and substance transportation. Oxidised pellets have become an indispensable high-quality charge for blast furnaces. Nevertheless, high-quality pellet feeds are becoming scarcer and scarcer. To broaden the range of sources of pellet feeds and reduce the production cost of pellets, more steel mills are predicted to use coarse iron ore fines with a relatively low iron grade and low impurities for the preparation of desirable pellet feeds through a typical wet grinding–settling–filtering process. In this work, the grinding, settling and filtering behaviour of Brazilian and Australian iron ore fines are studied and compared, with the aim of discovering the internal relationship between the mineralogical characteristics of different iron ore types and their grinding–settling–filtering performance. Additionally, the effects of ore blending on pellet preparation were investigated. The results show that, usually, the higher the hardness of the iron ore, the more grinding energy is required. Australian and Brazilian ore fines exhibit good grindability, with a Bond work index of about 10–15 kW·h/t. Furthermore, ore blending can reduce grinding energy consumption and improve settling and filtration rates, and the addition of finely ground Australian ores improves the balling performance of pellet mixtures. At the same bentonite content, the ball drop strength of the three blends with added Australian ore is significantly higher than that of the base blend, and the fired pellets obtained from Blend 1, Blend 2 and Blend 3 blends exhibit good metallurgical properties. Typical edge defects in the edge region of a new cemented carbide insert without edge preparation include burrs, poor surface quality, micro-breakages, and irregularities along the edge. To address the problems in new cemented carbide inserts without edge preparations, a chemical–mechanical synergistic preparation (CMSP) method for the cemented carbide insert cutting edge was proposed. Firstly, the CMSP device for the insert cutting edge was constructed. Then, the polishing slurry of the CMSP for the insert cutting edge was optimized using the Taguchi method combined with a grey relation analysis and fuzzy inference. Finally, orthogonal experiments, the Taguchi method, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to investigate the effect of the polishing plate's rotational speed, swing angle, and input frequency of the controller on the edge preparation process, and the parameters were optimized. The results showed that the best parameter combination for the polishing slurry for the cemented carbide inserts was the mass concentration of the abrasive particle of 10 wt%, the mass concentration of the oxidant of 10 wt%, the mass concentration of the dispersant of 2 wt%, and the pH of 8. The CMSP process parameter combination for the linear edge had the polishing plate's rotational speed of 90 rpm, the swing angle of 6°, and the input frequency of the controller of 5000 Hz. The optimum CMSP process parameter combination for the circular edge had the polishing plate's rotational speed of 90 rpm, the swing angle of 6°, and the input frequency of the controller of 7000 Hz. The polishing plate's rotational speed had the most significant impact on the edge preparation process, followed by the swing angle, and the effect of the input frequency of the controller was the smallest. Despite recent advancements, therapies against advanced oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) remain ineffective, resulting in unsatisfactory therapeutic outcomes. Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) offers a promising approach in the treatment of malignant neoplasms. Although the effects of CAP in abrogating OSCC have been explored, the exact mechanisms driving CAP-induced cancer cell death and the changes in microRNA (miRNA) expression are not fully understood. We fabricated and calibrated an argon-CAP device to explore the effects of CAP irradiation on the growth and expression of oncogenic miRNAs in OSCC. The analysis revealed that, in OSCC cell lines following CAP irradiation, there was a significant reduction in viability; a downregulation of miR-21, miR-31, miR-134, miR-146a, and miR-211 expression; and an inactivation of the v-akt murine thymoma viral oncogene homolog (AKT) and extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) signals. Pretreatment with blockers of apoptosis, autophagy, and ferroptosis synergistically reduced CAP-induced cell death, indicating a combined induction of variable death pathways via CAP. Combined treatments using death inhibitors and miRNA mimics, alongside the activation of AKT and ERK following the exogenous expression, counteracted the cell mortality associated with CAP. The CAP-induced downregulation of miR-21, miR-31, miR-187, and miR-211 expression was rescued through survival signaling. Additionally, CAP irradiation notably inhibited the growth of SAS OSCC cell xenografts on nude mice. The reduced expression of oncogenic miRNAs in vivo aligned with in vitro findings. In conclusion, our study provides new lines of evidence demonstrating that CAP irradiation diminishes OSCC cell viability by abrogating survival signals and oncogenic miRNA expression. Developing rubber agroforestry systems is crucial to ensure the sustainable development of natural rubber cultivation. This study focuses on the starch crop Maranta arundinacea (arrowroot) and assesses its productivity and influencing factors when intercropped in 6–7-year-old conventional single-row and double-row rubber plantations. We analyze various aspects, including light resources, root distribution, soil nutrients, arrowroot growth characteristics, and product quality. The results indicate that the daily average photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) in the double-row rubber agroforestry system intercropping area ranges from 896.4 to 940.2 μmol·m−2·s−1. Additionally, the rubber tree roots near the intercropping area are less dense (107.0 g cm−3). In contrast, the conventional single-row rubber agroforestry system has a significantly lower daily average PAR of only 145.7 μmol·m−2·s−1, and the nearby rubber tree roots are more abundant (616.2 g cm−3). Although soil nutrient levels were slightly lower in the intercropping area on the double-row treatment compared to the single-row treatment, there was no statistical difference (p < 0.05). Arrowroot's photosynthetic capacity in the double-row rubber agroforestry system intercropping area is significantly greater than in the single-row rubber agroforestry system intercropping area. The yield per unit area in the former (23.46–27.47 t·ha−1) is also significantly higher than in the latter (2.87–4.75 t·ha−1, p < 0.05), with higher starch content. Therefore, arrowroot exhibits higher productivity when intercropped in double-row rubber agroforestry systems, making it suitable for establishing a "rubber–arrowroot" agroforestry model to enhance the yield per unit area of rubber plantations. The inconvenience of conventional wool ball polishing is that the surface finishing process should be equipped with a slurry container. The main objective of this research is to develop an ultrasonic-assisted surface finishing process for STAVAX mold steel on a 5-axis CNC machining center, by using new lab-made rubber polishing balls containing the abrasive aluminum oxide instead of the traditional wool ball polishing. In total, five types (type A to type E) of new rubber-matrixed polishing balls with a composite of nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), an abrasive of aluminum oxide, and an additive of silicon dioxide have been developed. The performance of the composites with different grain sizes (0.05 μm to 3 μm) and concentrations of the abrasive of aluminum oxide have been investigated. The effects of multiple polishing passes on the surface roughness improvement for the lab-made polishing balls have also been investigated in this study. A surface roughness of Ra 0.027 μm on average was achieved by using the multiple polishing process of E-C-B-A. The volumetric wear of the lab-made polishing balls, using ultrasonic vibration-assisted polishing, can be improved from about 12.64% (type A) to 65.48% (type E) compared with the non-vibration-assisted polishing. The suitable combination of the ultrasonic vibration-assisted polishing parameters were an amplitude of 10 μm, a frequency of 23 kHz, a spindle speed of 5000 rpm, a feed rate of 60 mm/min, a stepover of 20 μm, a penetration depth of 180 μm, and a polishing pass of E-C-B-A, based on the experimental results. The surface roughness improvement on a test carrier with a saddle surface has also been presented by using the ultrasonic vibration-assisted polishing with the lab-made polishing balls. The objective of this study is to prepare CNT/AlSi10Mg composites using mechanical ball milling combined with SPS. The study investigates the influence of ball-milling time and CNT content on the mechanical and corrosion resistance of the composite. This is performed to address the challenge of CNTs dispersion and to understand how CNTs impact the mechanical and corrosion resistance of the composites. The morphology of the composites was characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Raman spectroscopy, and the mechanics and corrosion resistance of the composite materials were tested. The results demonstrate that the uniform dispersion of CNTs can significantly enhance both the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the material. Specifically, when the ball-milling time was 8 h, CNTs were uniformly dispersed in the Al matrix. The CNT/AlSi10Mg composite shows the best interfacial bonding when the mass fraction of CNTs is 0.8 wt.%, with a tensile strength of −256 MPa. Ferronickel products obtained from the traditional process used to treat limonite nickel laterite usually assay very low-grade Ni, only 3–5% Ni due to the high Fe/Ni ratio of limonite nickel laterite. This paper describes an investigation conducted to upgrade limonite nickel laterites for the preparation of ferronickel by using selective reduction smelting technology. By means of thermodynamic calculations and smelting experiments, the smelting separation mechanism and the behavior of P and S removal in the smelting process, as well as the influence of smelting factors, have been systematically identified. The best production index of ferronickel is obtained under optimized conditions as follows: smelting the pre-reduced lumps at 1525 °C for 45 min with a basicity of 0.60, MgO/SiO2 ratio of 0.30, and nickel and iron metallization rate of 94.30% and 10.93%, respectively. The resulting ferronickel features a nickel and iron grade of 12.55% and 84.61% and a nickel and iron recovery of 85.65% and 10.87%, respectively. In addition, the content of S and P contained in ferronickel is only 0.11% and 0.0035%, respectively. The ferronickel obtained from the selective reduction smelting process is a fine material for the subsequent stainless steel smelting due to its high Ni grade and low content of impurities. Because of their beautiful appearance, strong crossing ability, and reasonable stress performance, the application of tied steel box arch bridges is becoming more and more extensive. Bridge construction monitoring can control and adjust the deviation state to ensure the stress and linear state of the bridge after completion. This study carried out a symmetrical construction monitoring analysis and completed state evaluation of the newly built Dafeng River Bridge in Guangxi Province based on the finite element method. MIDAS Civil finite element software is used for simulation analysis to calculate the deformation and stress of the tied steel box arch bridge at the construction and completion stages. The tensile and compressive stress of the main arch and transverse brace, as well as the cumulative displacements of the main arch and lattice beam, are symmetrically distributed. The maximum tensile and compressive stresses are 15.1 MPa and 74.6 MPa, respectively, less than the specification's allowable value. Meanwhile, for the completed bridge under the loading combinations of serviceability limit state and bearing capacity ultimate limit state, the stress of the main arch, transverse brace, and lattice beam meets the specification requirements. The maximum cable forces of the suspender and tie rod under the bearing capacity ultimate limit state are 2189.4 kN and 2991.2 kN, and their corresponding minimum safety factors are 3.2 and 2.7. In addition, the deviations between the on-site monitoring and the finite element theoretical values are within the specification allowable range for the cable force of the suspender and tie rod and the bridge deck alignment. It indicates that the bridge construction monitoring effect is reasonable and ideal, and the symmetrically finite element simulation analysis can provide a theoretical basis for construction monitoring. Recovery of valuable metals from red mud smelting separation slag is important for environmental protection and saving of natural resources. In this paper, we propose a recycling process of red mud smelting separation slag by mineral phase reconstruction conducted under an air atmosphere. In this process, NaOH and Ca(OH)2 roasting of Al2O3 and NaAlSiO4 was performed, and Al2O3 and SiO2 were converted into alkaline-soluble NaAlO2 and Ca2SiO4, respectively. In the consequent steps, more than 80% of Al2O3 was selectively dissolved into a leaching solution using a NaOH solution under 95 °C, and the obtained NaAlO2 solution can be used as a source for extracting alumina. Then, a 20 wt.% HCl solution was used to remove SiO2 from the residue, obtaining a SiO2-containing solution and a concentrated residue of undissolved TiO2 and CaO. Finally, this mineral phase reconstruction process can enable a higher metal leaching rate, and this study provides a novel, clean, and sustainable method for recycling valuable metals from red mud smelting separation slag. Prostate cancers with mismatch repair deficiency (MMR-d) have aggressive clinical and histological features, and they are potentially responsive to immunotherapy. However, its rarity prevents the analysis of the underlying biology. Here, we collected the genomic data of 2664 primary prostate tumors and 1409 metastatic prostate tumors from the GENIE and TCGA databases. A total of 69 (2.59%) primary and 60 (4.26%) metastatic MMR-d tumors were identified among these tumors. Single nucleotide variant (SNV) frequencies of 34 candidate genes (including KMT2D (46.4%), ZFHX3 (33.3%), JAK1 (31.9%), and RNF43 (27.5%)) and 16 candidate genes (including KMT2D (33.3%) and JAK1 (28.3%)) were higher in MMR-d primary tumors and MMR-d metastatic tumors, respectively. The tumor mutation burden (TMB) was higher in primary MMR-d tumors. Homozygous deletions of EPCAM and EPAS1 were enriched in MMR-d primary tumors, while EPCAM deletions were enriched in metastatic MMR-d tumors. For genomic rearrangement events, TMPRSS2-ETS fusions were less frequent in primary MMR-d tumors. Our study indicates MMR-d prostate cancers have unique genomic features. Simple Summary: Pyroptosis is a kind of programmed cell death, which is characterized by pore formation in the plasma membrane and the release of large amounts of inflammatory mediators. Pyroptosis is associated with diseases such as infectious disease, cardiovascular disease, neurodegeneration and cancer. In this review, the molecular mechanisms of pyroptosis together with its role in the initiation, progression and treatment of cervical cancer are summarized and discussed. Pyroptosis, an inflammatory programmed cell death, is characterized by the caspase-mediated pore formation of plasma membranes and the release of large quantities of inflammatory mediators. In recent years, the morphological characteristics, induction mechanism and action process of pyroptosis have been gradually unraveled. As a malignant tumor with high morbidity and mortality, cervical cancer is seriously harmful to women's health. It has been found that pyroptosis is closely related to the initiation and development of cervical cancer. The preparation of heterogeneous Fenton catalysts with both adsorption and catalytic properties has become an effective strategy for the treatment of refractory organic wastewater. In this work, 4A-Fe@Cu bimetallic Fenton catalysts with a three-dimensional core-shell structure were prepared by a simple, template-free, and surfactant-free methodology and used in the adsorption and degradation of Congo red (CR). The results showed that the open three-dimensional network structure and the positive charge of the surface of the 4A-Fe@Cu catalyst could endow a high adsorption capacity for CR, reaching 432.9 mg/g. The good adsorption property of 4A-Fe@Cu for CR not only did not inactivate the catalytic site on 4A-Fe@Cu but also could promote the contact between CR and the active sites on the catalyst surface and accelerate the degradation process. The 4A-Fe@Cu bimetallic catalyst exhibited higher catalytic activity than monometallic 4A@Cu and/or 4A-Fe catalysts due to low work function value. The effects of different pH, H2O2 dosages, and catalyst dosages on the catalytic performance of 4A-Fe@Cu were explored. In the conditions of 7.2 mM H2O2, 2 g/L 4A-Fe@Cu, and 1 g/L CR solution, the degradation ratio of CR by 4A-Fe@Cu could reach 99.2% at pH 8. Interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) drives have been widely employed in sustainable transport such as electric vehicles (EV). However, the traditional vector control (VC) strategies cannot achieve optimal control due to the intrinsic property of the IPMSMs, which is strong coupling. To solve the issue, this paper proposes an improved decoupling VC strategy to improve the steady-state performance of the IPMSMs with reduced parameter mismatch impacts. First, a deviation decoupling strategy is developed, and meanwhile, the parameters that influence the decoupling method are clearly illustrated. This enriches the theory concerning decoupling control and lays the ground for the development of effective solutions to the parameter mismatch issue. Second, the Luenberger observer theory is discussed, based on which the reason why the Luenberger inductance observers are not widely employed is explained for the first time. Third, with the aid of intermediate variables, which are the disturbances caused by the mismatched inductances, a new inductance identification method based on the Luenberger observer is proposed. In this paper, an innovative method is proposed to upgrade iron and remove phosphorus from high-phosphorus oolitic hematite ore by the sodium magnetization roasting–magnetic separation–sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide leaching process. The process parameters of sodium magnetization roasting, acid leaching, and alkaline leaching were optimized. The results show that by only adopting traditional magnetization roasting–magnetic separation, an iron ore concentrate containing 57.49% Fe and 1.4% P2O5 at an iron recovery rate of 87.5% and a dephosphorization rate of 34.27% was produced, indicating that it is difficult to effectively dephosphorize and upgrade iron by the conventional magnetization roasting–magnetic separation process. The obtained rough magnetic concentrates were then subjected to acid and alkaline leaching steps, and the final product, assayed at 64.11% iron and 0.097% P2O5, was manufactured successfully. Most patients with a corneal injury are administered anti-inflammatory medications and antibiotics, but no other treatments are currently available. Thus, the corneal injury healing is unsatisfactory, affects the vision, and has a risk of blindness in severe cases. Human umbilical mesenchymal stem cells exhibit pluripotent and anti-inflammatory properties and do not cause immunological rejection in the host. Rats were irradiated with type B ultraviolet (UVB) light to generate a stable animal model of photokeratitis. After irradiation-induced photokeratitis, human umbilical mesenchymal stem cells were implanted into the subconjunctival space of the lateral sclera, and the changes in the corneal pathology were evaluated. Three weeks after implantation, many mesenchymal stem cells were visible in the subconjunctival space. These mesenchymal stem cells effectively reduced the extent of injury to the adjacent corneal tissue. They accelerated the epithelial layer repair, reduced the inflammatory response and neovascularization, and improved the disorganization of collagen and fibronectin in the corneal stroma caused by the injury. In conclusion, xenografted human umbilical mesenchymal stem cells can survive in rat eye tissues for a long time, effectively support the structural integrity of injured corneal tissues, restore corneal permeability, and reduce abnormal neovascularization. Plant photosynthesis and biomass production are associated with the amount of intercepted light, especially the light distribution inside the canopy. Three virtual canopies (n = 80, 3.25 plants/m2) were constructed based on average leaf size of the digitized plant structures: 'small leaf' (98.1 cm2), 'medium leaf' (163.0 cm2) and 'big leaf' (241.6 cm2). The ratios of diffuse light were set in three gradients (27.8%, 48.7%, 89.6%). The simulations of light interception were conducted under different ratios of diffuse light, before and after the normalization of incident radiation. With 226.1% more diffuse light, the result of light interception could increase by 34.4%. However, the 56.8% of reduced radiation caused by the increased proportion of diffuse light inhibited the advantage of diffuse light in terms of a 26.8% reduction in light interception. The big-leaf canopy had more mutual shading effects, but its larger leaf area intercepted 56.2% more light than the small-leaf canopy under the same light conditions. The small-leaf canopy showed higher efficiency in light penetration and higher light interception per unit of leaf area. In order to effectively solve the problem of strength and ductility mismatch of magnesium (Mg) matrix composites, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are added as reinforcement. However, it is difficult to uniformly disperse CNTs in a metal matrix to form composites. In this paper, electrophoretic deposition (EPD) was used to obtain layered units, and then the CNTs/Mg layered units were sintered by spark plasma sintering to synthesize layered CNTs/Mg composites. The deposition morphology of the layered units obtained by EPD and the microstructure, damping properties, and mechanical properties of the composite material were analyzed. The results show that the strength and ductility of the composite sample sintered at 590 °C were improved compared with the layered pure Mg and the composite sample sintered at 600 °C. Compared with pure Mg, the composites rolled by 40% had a much higher strength but no significant decrease in ductility. The damping properties of the CNTs/Mg composites were tested. The damping–test-temperature curve (tanδ~T) rose gradually with increasing temperature in the range of room temperature to 350 °C, and two internal friction peaks appeared. The damping properties of the tested composites at room temperature decreased with increasing frequency. The layered structure of the CNTs/Mg had ultra-high strengthening efficiency and maintained its ductility. The layered units prepared by EPD can uniformly disperse the CNTs in the composites. Sinter has been introduced into the composite burden of the COREX ironmaking process in China to lower the material cost, but the proportion is limited due to its poor low-temperature reduction degradation performance in the shaft furnace. This work dealt with the preparation of sinter for the COREX process by varying the MgO content and basicity. Their effects on the sintering and reduction properties under reducing condition simulating COREX shaft furnace were investigated, and the changes in the mineralogy of sinter with different MgO content and basicity were explored. The results showed that increasing MgO content affected the sinter strength and solid fuel consumption but restrained reduction degradation of sinter in the shaft furnace. In the basicity range of 0.8–2.6, the strength, RDI+6.3 and RDI+3.15 of sinter all presented a V-shaped curve and the minimum value occurred at a basicity of approximately 1.6. By comprehensive consideration, sinter with 2.35%+ MgO and 2.2+ basicity for COREX process was proposed and verified in industrial tests. Sinter with higher MgO content contained less SFCA and hematite, while glass and SFCA were dominant in the binding phase in sinter with low basicity (0.8) and high basicity (2.6) respectively and were associated with the relatively higher sinter strength. The changes in the mineralogy of sinter determined the variations of RDI of sinter with different MgO content and basicity, by affecting the sinter strength and the probable reduction of inner stress. Long-termrotary tillage has led to a deterioration in cotton production. It remains unclear whether soil inversion with subsoiling could halt the deterioration. Here, a field experiment was set from 2015 to 2017 with three treatments: CK, 15 cm rotary tillage; T1, replace the top 20 cm soil layer with the 20–40 cm soil layer and loosen the 40–55 cm soil layer; T2, replace the top 20 cm soil layer with the 20–40 cm soil layer and loosen the 40–70 cm soil layer. The results showed that the total nitrogen(N) content, alkaline N content, total phosphorous(P) content, available P content, and available potassium(K) content of T1 and T2 in the 20–40 cm soil layer were significantly higher than those in the top 20 cm soil layer in 2017, and the soil nutrient contents in the top 20 cm soil layer increased with each planting season. Compared with CK, the root dry matter of T1 and T2 increased by 13.1% and 15.2%, respectively, and the boll number and boll weight were also significantly higher, and the seed cotton yield under T1 for the three years increased by 7.7%, 7.6%, and 6.1%, respectively, and the seed cotton yield under T2 for the three years increased by 6.1%, 8.6%, and 8.2%, respectively. Hydraulic motors have been widely used in large-scale machinery such as ground heavy equipment and heavy-duty vehicles, ships, and so on because of their high-power drive capability. However, the driving device is confronted with constraints related to its size and weight. Typically, the hydraulic axial piston motor is preferred for its simplicity and efficiency. However, the oil distributor in traditional hydraulic motors faces significant challenges, such as evident oil leakage and power loss from the mating surfaces of the fixed oil distributor and rotating cylinder block. To enhance the reliability and performance of hydraulic motors employed in paper driving applications, this paper introduces a digital radial hydraulic motor used for heavy-duty vehicle traction. The motor is powered by an on-board pump station from which several on/off valves can distribute the hydraulic oil. This design effectively mitigates the performance degradation issues associated with friction and wear in traditional hydraulic motor oil distributors. The drive characteristics of the motor can be flexibly adjusted through the combination of valves. Our investigation into the motor's design principles and parameter analysis is poised to make an indirect yet significant contribution to the optimization of heavy-duty vehicle traction systems. This paper delineates the application conditions and operational principles of the digital hydraulic motor, thoroughly analyzes the intricate topological interrelationships of its parameters, and meticulously develops a detailed component-level model. Through comprehensive calculations, it reveals the impact of configuration and flow valve parameters on motor efficiency. A simulation model is established for the purpose of verification. Furthermore, the influence of the flow allocation method on efficiency and pressure pulsation is examined, leading to the proposal of a novel flow allocation strategy, the efficacy of which is substantiated through simulation. In conclusion, this paper formulates critical insights to inform the design and selection of components for digital hydraulic motors. Aiming at the problem of the circuit operating frequency changing beyond the regulation range and zero switching not being guaranteed when the input voltage range of the LLC resonant converter is large, a hybrid control technology with a variable structure and variable mode is proposed in this paper to realize the wide input range of the LLC resonant converter. Depending on the input voltage range, this technology can ensure the frequency range of the circuit and meet the realization conditions of zero voltage switching (ZVS) in different modes. The test results show that the circuit can control the frequency at 0 kHz~200 kHz, the phase shift range is 0~2π/5, the maximum voltage gain multiple is 3.3 times, and the control mode is three PWM hybrid switching control. Waste copper slag is a typical hazardous solid waste containing a variety of valuable elements and has not been effectively disposed of so far. In this paper, a stepwise extraction process was proposed to recover valuable elements (copper, iron, lead and zinc) from waste copper slag. The specific procedures are as follows: (1) A flotation process was adopted to enrich copper, and when the copper grade in the flotation concentrate was 21.50%, the copper recovery rate was 77.78%. (2) The flotation tailings were pelletized with limestone, then the green pellets were reduced, and the magnetic separation process was carried out. When the iron and copper grades in the magnetic concentrate were 90.21% Fe and 0.4% Cu, 91.34% iron and 83.41% copper were recovered, respectively. (3) Non-magnetic tailings were mixed with clinker and standard sand to produce common Portland cement. Several products were obtained from the waste copper slag through the proposed process: flotation concentrate, measured 21.50% Cu; magnetic concentrate, containing 90.21% TFe and 0.4% Cu; direct reduction dust, including 65.17% ZnO and 2.66% PbO; common Portland cement for building construction. Aiming at the effective utilization of the abundant high-alumina iron ores with low iron grade, the influence of alumina concentration and type on high-temperature characteristics was clarified based on the analyses of eight typical iron ores. The results indicate that high-temperature characteristics of iron ores in various alumina types are different. Higher Al2O3 concentration is deleterious to assimilability and liquid phase fluidity, but the influence extent of each alumina type is substantially different. Kaolinite (Al2O3·2SiO2·2H2O) contributes to correspondingly better assimilability, followed by hercynite (Fe(Fe, Al)2O4), gibbsite (Al(OH)3), diaspore (AlO(OH)), and free state alumina (Al2O3) in turn. Diaspore promotes relatively higher liquid phase fluidity, followed by kaolinite, free state alumina, and hercynite, while gibbsite possesses the maximum adverse impact. Kaolinite and hercynite are more beneficial to form dendritic or acicular silico-ferrite of calcium and alumina (SFCA) with high strength due to the better reactivity, and gibbsite and diaspore lead to more formation of relatively lower strength lamellar or tabular SFCA, while free state alumina is preferable to form disseminated SCFA with rather poorer strength. Limonitic laterite contains low iron and nickel grades and much high smelting minerals and loss on ignition (LOI), identified as refractory iron ore for sintering. Thus, sinter pot tests of limonitic laterite via pressurized densification sintering and its intensification mechanism were conducted, and the industrial application prospect was explored. The results indicate that the sintering performance of the limonitic laterite of the new process is significantly improved with the tumble index and productivity increased by 19.2% and 18.6%, respectively, and solid fuel rate lowered by 10.3%. The external pressure field promotes the synchronization of heat front velocity and combustion front velocity for better sintering heat and mass transfer conditions, which also greatly improves the mineral compositions and microstructure of the product sinter. The microstructure is converted from large thin-wall pores into small thin-wall or large thick-wall pores with the sinter porosity decreased by 42.4%. Much close interlocking texture between hercynite and silico-ferrite of calcium and alumina (SFCA) is formed with hercynite grains aggregation and growth, and SFCA amount substantially increased. The better sintering performance will bring about a remarkable economic benefit of 282.78 million RMB/a if the industrial application is implemented. Cucumber is one of the most important vegetables in the world. The C2H2 zinc finger protein (C2H2-ZFP) family plays an important role in the growth development and abiotic stress responses of plants. However, there have been no systematic studies on cucumber. In this study, we performed a genome-wide study of C2H2-ZFP genes and analyzed their chromosomal location, gene structure, conservation motif, and transcriptional expression. In total, 101 putative cucumber C2H2-ZFP genes were identified and divided into six groups (I–VI). RNA-seq transcriptome data on different organs revealed temporal and spatial expression specificity of the C2H2-ZFP genes. Expression analysis of sixteen selected C2H2-ZFP genes in response to cold, drought, salt, and abscisic acid (ABA) treatments by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction showed that C2H2-ZFP genes may be involved in different signaling pathways. In this study, a novel process was established for extraction of Fe and Al from a complex high aluminum iron ore (33.43% Fetotal and 19.09% Al2O3). The main steps in the proposed process included pre-reducing high alumina iron ore and subsequent smelting to produce pig iron and rich-alumina slag, followed by alkaline leaching of the slag to obtain sodium aluminate solution and a clean slag. When smelting the pre-reduced high alumina iron ore pellets at 1625 °C for 30 min with a slag basicity of 0.40, the pig iron yielded 97.08% Fe and extracted 0.13% Al2O3, together with an iron recovery of 94.54%. In addition, more than 68.93% Al2O3 was recovered by leaching the slag, which was achieved by firstly roasted the slag at 900 °C for 2 h and then alkaline leaching at 95 °C for 2 h with a liquid-to-solid ratio of 10 mL/g. Radiation-induced oral mucositis represents an influential factor in cancer patients' accepted radiation therapy, especially in head and neck cancer. This research investigates the treatment effect of Ecdysterone (a steroid derived from the dry root of Achyranthes bidentate) and Paeonol (a compound derived from Cortex Moutan) on radiation-induced oral mucositis and possible underlying mechanisms. Concisely, 20 Gy of X-rays (single-dose) irradiated the cranial localization in rats for the modeling of oral mucositis. The therapeutic effects of Ecdysterone-Paeonol oral cavity directly administered on radiation-induced oral mucositis were investigated by weight changes, direct observations, visual scoring methods, ulcer area/total area, and basic recovery days. Assessments of tumor necrosis factor α and interleukin-6 were performed to evaluate the inflammatory cytokines secretion in the damaged areas of tongues harvested post-treatment, and changes in signaling pathways were investigated by Western blotting. System Drug Target (SysDT) methods revealed the targets of Ecdysterone-Paeonol in order to support compound-target network construction. Four representative targets with different functions were chosen. The binding interactions between the compound and receptor were evaluated by molecular docking to investigate the binding affinity of the ligand to their protein targets. Ecdysterone-Paeonol, administered orally, effectively improved radiation-induced oral mucositis in rats, and the therapeutic effect was better than Ecdysterone administered orally on its own. In this study, calculational chemistry revealed that Ecdysterone-Paeonol affected 19 function targets associated with radiation-induced oral mucositis, including apoptosis, proliferation, inflammation, and wound healing. This paper studies the parameter identification problems for multivariable output-error-like systems with colored noises. Based on the hierarchical identification principle, the original system is decomposed into several subsystems. However, each subsystem contains the same parameter vector, which leads to redundant computation. By taking the average of the parameter estimation vectors of each subsystem, a partially-coupled subsystem recursive generalized extended least squares (PC-S-RGELS) algorithm is presented to cut down the redundant parameter estimates. Furthermore, a partially-coupled recursive generalized extended least squares (PC-RGELS) algorithm is presented to further reduce the computational cost and the redundant estimates by using the coupling identification concept. Generally, the Cu-bearing direct reduction iron powder (CBDRI) obtained from a direct reduction-magnetic separation process of waste copper slag contains a high content of impurities and cannot be directly used to produce Cu-bearing special steel. In this paper, further smelting treatment of CBDRI was conducted to remove its impurities (such as S, SiO2, Al2O3, CaO and MgO) and acquire a high-quality Fe–Cu master alloy. The results show that the Fe–Cu master alloy, assaying 95.9% Fe, 1.4% Cu and minor impurities, can be obtained from the smelting process at 1550 °C for 40 min with 1.0 basicity. Meanwhile, the corresponding iron and copper recoveries are 98.6% and 97.2%, respectively. Theoretical calculations and experimental results show that appropriate basicity (0.9~1.1) is beneficial for the recovery of Fe and Cu from a thermodynamic viewpoint due to the excellent fluidity of the slag in this basicity range. Moreover, the mechanism of desulfurization was revealed by calculating the sulfide capacity and the desulfurization reaction kinetics. Increasing the binary basicity of the slag benefits both the sulfide capacity and diffusion coefficient of the sulfur in the molten slag, resulting in higher desulfurization efficiency and lower S content in the master alloy. This paper considers the parameter identification problems of stochastic systems by the controlled autoregressive model. A gradient-based iterative algorithm is derived from observation data by using the gradient search. By using the multi-innovation identification theory, we propose a multi-innovation gradient-based iterative algorithm to improve the performance of the algorithm. COREX (Coal-Reduction-Extreme) smelting reduction process provides a sustainable developing way for ironmaking industry, but the sources of iron ore materials restrict its development in China. Meanwhile, the application of sinter, which is marked by low manufacture cost and overcapacity in China, to COREX furnace faced proportion limitation due to its worse low temperature reduction degradation performance. This work explored the influence of MgO content on the low-temperature (550 °C) reduction of sinter in reducing conditions simulating COREX shaft furnace. The mineralogical change of sinter containing different content of MgO before and after reduction was analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy for revealing the action mechanism of MgO on the low-temperature-reduction of sinter. The results show that increasing MgO (1.36–3.10%) improved the low temperature reduction degradation performance of sinter, and decreased its reduction degree and reduction rate at low temperature. More MgO the sinter contained, less Fe2O3 and SFCA was observed in sinter. Meantime, less Fe2O3 was reduced and the generation of innerstress was restrained during reduction process. The improved RDI (reduction degradation index) in COREX process of sinter by increasing MgO content is a comprehensive result of lowering strength and inhibiting probable reduction of sinter. Evapotranspiration (ET), a critical process in global climate change, is very difficult to estimate at regional and basin scales. In this study, we evaluated five ET products: the Global Land Surface Evaporation with the Amsterdam Methodology (GLEAM, the EartH2Observe ensemble (E2O)), the Global Land Data Assimilation System with Noah Land Surface Model-2 (GLDAS), a global ET product at 8 km resolution from Zhang (ZHANG) and a supplemental land surface product of the Modern-ERA Retrospective analysis for Research and Applications (MERRA_land), using the water balance method in the Yellow River Basin, China, including twelve catchments, during the period of 1982–2000. The results showed that these ET products have obvious different performances, in terms of either their magnitude or temporal variations. From the viewpoint of multiple-year averages, the MERRA_land product shows a fairly similar magnitude to the ETw derived from the water balance method, while the E2O product shows significant underestimations. The GLEAM product shows the highest correlation coefficient. From the viewpoint of interannual variations, the ZHANG product performs best in terms of magnitude, while the E2O still shows significant underestimations. However, the E2O product best describes the interannual variations among the five ET products. Further study has indicated that the discrepancies between the ET products in the Yellow River Basin are mainly due to the quality of precipitation forcing data. Background: Normal tension glaucoma (NTG) is becoming a more and more serious problem, especially in Asia. But the pathological mechanisms are still not illustrated clearly. We carried out this research to uncover the gene polymorphisms with NTG. Methods: We searched in Web of Science, Embase, Pubmed and Cochrane databases for qualified case-control studies investigating the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and NTG risk. Odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) for each SNP were estimated by fixed- or random-effect models. Sensitivity analysis was also performed to strengthen the reliability of the results. Results: Fifty-six studies involving 33 candidate SNPs in 14 genetic loci were verified to be eligible for our meta-analysis. Significant associations were found between 16 SNPs (rs166850 of OPA1; rs10451941 of OPA1; rs735860 of ELOVL5; rs678350 of HK2; c.603T>A/Met98Lys of OPTN; c.412G>A/Thr34Thr of OPTN; rs10759930 of TLR4; rs1927914 of TLR4; rs1927911 of TLR4; c.*70C>G of EDNRA; rs1042522/-Arg72Pro of P53; rs10483727 of SIX1-SIX6; rs33912345 of SIX1-SIX6; rs2033008 of NCK2; rs3213787 of SRBD1 and c.231G>A of EDNRA) with increased or decreased risk of NTG. Intelligent fault diagnosis encounters the challenges of varying working conditions and sample class imbalance individually, but very few approaches address both challenges simultaneously. This article proposes an improvement network model named ICDAN-F, which can deal with fault diagnosis scenarios with class imbalance and working condition variations in an integrated way. First, Focal Loss, which was originally designed for target detection, is introduced to alleviate the sample class imbalance problem of fault diagnosis and emphasize the key features. Second, the domain discriminator is improved by the default ReLU activation function being replaced with Tanh so that useful negative value information can help extract transferable fault features. Extensive transfer experiments dealing with varying working conditions are conducted on two bearing fault datasets with the effect of class imbalance. The results show that the fault diagnosis performance of ICDAN-F outperforms several other widely used domain adaptation methods, achieving 99.76% and 96.76% fault diagnosis accuracies in Case 1 and Case 2, respectively, which predicts that ICDAN-F can handle both challenges in a cohesive manner. Simple Summary: The complete mitochondrial genome has been widely used in phylogenetics-related studies, as it offers valuable insights into evolutionary relationships. In this study, we reported the complete mitogenome of the elongate loach (Leptobotia elongata) and conducted a detailed analysis of its characteristics which was employed to infer phylogenetic relationships. These findings reveal that both the gene arrangement and composition of mitochondrial genes in the elongate loach are comparable to those found in other bony fishes. Our study further demonstrated that the Cobitidae species under investigation could be grouped into two distinct clades, with elongate loach showing a sister relationship with L. microphthalma. Collectively, our research enhanced the understanding of the mitochondrial genome structure and contributed to the phylogenetic analysis of the elongate loach. The elongate loach is an endemic fish in China. Previous studies have provided some insights into the mitochondrial genome composition and the phylogenetic relationships of the elongate loach inferred using protein-coding genes (PCGs), yet detailed information about it remains limited. Therefore, in this study we sequenced the complete mitochondrial genome of the elongate loach and analyzed its structural characteristics. The PCGs and mitochondrial genome were used for selective stress analysis and genomic comparative analysis. The complete mitochondrial genome of the elongate loach, together with those of 35 Cyprinidae species, was used to infer the phylogenetic relationships of the Cobitidae family through maximum likelihood (ML) reconstruction. The results showed that the genome sequence has a full length of 16,591 bp, which includes 13 PCGs, 22 transfer RNA genes (tRNA), 2 ribosomal RNA genes (rRNA), and 2 non-coding regions (CR D-loop and light chain sub-chain replication origin OL). Overall, the elongate loach shared the same gene arrangement and composition of the mitochondrial genes with other teleost fishes. The Ka/Ks ratios of all mitochondrial PCGs were less than 1, indicating that all of the PCGs were evolving under purifying selection. Genome comparison analyses showed a significant sequence homology of species of Leptobotia. A significant identity between L. elongata and the other five Leptobotia species was observed in the visualization result, except for L. mantschurica, which lacked the tRNA-Arg gene and had a shorter tRNA-Asp gene. The phylogenetic tree revealed that the Cobitidae species examined here can be grouped into two clades, with the elongate loach forming a sister relationship with L. microphthalma. The prevailing method for handling municipal solid waste (MSW) is incineration, a critical process that demands safe, stable, and eco-conscious operation. While grate-typed furnaces offer operational flexibility, they often generate pollution during unstable operating conditions. Moreover, fluctuations in the physical and chemical characteristics of MSW contribute to variable combustion statuses, accelerating internal furnace wear and ash accumulation. Tackling the challenges of pollution, wear, and efficiency in the MSW incineration (MSWI) process necessitates the automatic online recognition of combustion status. This article introduces a novel online recognition method using deep forest classification (DFC) based on convolutional multi-layer feature fusion. The method entails several key steps: initial collection and analysis of flame image modeling data and construction of an offline model utilizing LeNet-5 and DFC. Here, LeNet-5 trains to extract deep features from flame images, while an adaptive selection fusion method on multi-layer features selects the most effective fused deep features. Subsequently, these fused deep features feed into DFC, constructing an offline recognition model for identifying combustion status. Finally, embedding this recognition system into an existing MSWI process data monitoring system enables online flame video recognition. Experimental results show remarkable accuracies: 93.80% and 95.08% for left and right grate furnace offline samples, respectively. The heat treatment process is a vital step for manufacturing high-speed railway spring fasteners. In this study, orthogonal experiments were carried out to obtain reliable optimised heat treatment parameters through a streamlined number of experiments. Results revealed that a better comprehensive mechanical performance could be obtained under the following combination of heat treatment parameters: quenching temperature of 850 °C, holding time of 35 min, medium of 12% polyalkylene glycol (PAG) aqueous solution, tempering temperature of 460 °C, and holding time of 60 min. As one of the most important testing criteria, fatigue performance would be improved with increasing strength. Additionally, a high ratio of martensite to ferrite is proven to improve the fatigue limit more significantly. After this heat treatment process, the metallographic microstructure and mechanical properties satisfy the technical requirements for the high-speed railway practical operation. After high-temperature treatment, both nano-titanium dioxide-modified concrete and ordinary concrete exhibit typical splitting failure. High-temperature heating reduces the mechanical properties and brittleness of concrete and improves the ductility of concrete. The stress–strain relationship of the specimens was obtained through the uniaxial compression test of ordinary concrete and nano-titanium dioxide-modified concrete cube specimens under normal temperature and high-temperature conditions. In addition, the relationship between temperature and damage variables was established, and the unified constitutive model containing damage variables after room temperature and high-temperature treatment of ordinary concrete and nano-titanium dioxide-modified concrete were established. In order to cope with the influences of noise interference and variable load on rolling bearing fault diagnosis in real industrial environments, a rolling bearing fault diagnosis method based on CBAM_ResNet and ACON activation function is proposed. Firstly, the collected bearing working vibration signals are made into input samples to retain the original features to the maximum extent. Secondly, the CBAM_ResNet fault diagnosis model is constructed. By taking advantage of the convolutional neural network (CNN) in classification tasks and key feature extraction, the convolutional block attention module network (CBAM) is embedded in the residual blocks, to avoid model degradation and enhance the interaction of information in channel and spatial, raise the key feature extraction capability of the model. Finally, the Activate or Not (ACON) activation function, is introduced to adaptively activate shallow features for the purpose of improving the model's feature representation and generalization capability. The bearing dataset of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) is used for experiments, and the average accuracy of the proposed method is 97.68% and 93.93% under strong noise interference and variable load, respectively. Compared with the other three published bearing fault diagnosis methods, the results indicate that this proposed method has better noise immunity and generalization ability, and has good application value. Cadmium (Cd) is a potentially hazardous element with significant biological toxicity, negatively affecting plant growth and physio-biochemical metabolism. Thus, it is necessary to examine practical and eco-friendly approaches to reduce Cd toxicity. Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2-NPs) are growth regulators that help in nutrient uptake and improve plant defense systems against abiotic and biological stress. A pot experiment was performed in the late rice-growing season (July—November) 2022 to explore the role of TiO2-NPs in relieving Cd toxicity on leaf physiological activity, biochemical attributes, and plant antioxidant defense systems of two different fragrant rice cultivars, i.e., Xiangyaxiangzhan (XGZ) and Meixiangzhan-2 (MXZ-2). Both cultivars were cultivated under normal and Cd-stress conditions. Different doses of TiO2-NPs with and without Cd-stress conditions were studied. The treatment combinations were: Cd−, 0 mg/kg CdCl2·2.5 H2O; Cd+, 50 mg/kg CdCl2·2.5 H2O; Cd + NP1, 50 mg/kg Cd + 50 TiO2-NPs mg/L; Cd + NP2, 50 mg/kg Cd + 100 TiO2-NPs mg/L; Cd + NP3, 50 mg/kg Cd + 200 TiO2-NPs mg/L; Cd + NP4, 50 mg/kg Cd + 400 TiO2-NPs mg/L. Our results showed that the Cd stress significantly (p < 0.05) decreased leaf photosynthetic efficiency, stomatal traits, antioxidant enzyme activities, and the expression of their encoding genes and protein content. Moreover, Cd toxicity destabilized plant metabolism owing to greater accretion of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and malondialdehyde (MDA) levels at vegetative and reproductive stages. However, TiO2-NPs application improved leaf photosynthetic efficacy, stomatal traits, and protein and antioxidant enzyme activities under Cd toxicity. Application of TiO2-NPs decreased the uptake and accumulation of Cd in plants and levels of H2O2 and MDA, thereby helping to relieve Cd-induced peroxidation damage of leaf membrane lipids by enhancing the activities of different enzymes like ascorbate peroxidase (APX), catalase (CAT), peroxidase (POS), and superoxide dismutase (SOD). Average increases in SOD, APX, CAT, and POS activities of 120.5 and 110.4%, 116.2 and 123.4%, 41.4 and 43.8%, and 36.6 and 34.2% in MXZ-2 and XGZ, respectively, were noted in Cd + NP3 treatment across the growth stages as compared with Cd-stressed plants without NPs. Moreover, the correlation analysis revealed that the leaf net photosynthetic rate is strongly associated with leaf proline and soluble protein content, suggesting that a higher net photosynthetic rate results in higher leaf proline and soluble protein content. Of the treatments, the Cd + NP3 (50 mg/kg Cd + 200 mg/L TiO2-NPs) performed the best for both fragrant rice cultivars under Cd toxicity. Our results showed that TiO2-NPs strengthened rice metabolism through an enhanced antioxidant defense system across the growth stages, thereby improving plant physiological activity and biochemical characteristics under Cd toxicity. A distributed seed delivery system is the most important component of a pneumatic central-cylinder seeder. We performed a fluent simulation analysis for seed-drop tubes at different parameters and airflow velocities, and with an increase in air velocity, the larger the angle is, the easier it is to produce a vortex, which considerably changes the angle, with the little bend tube improving the uniformity of seeding performance. The distribution of rice seeds in the seeding furrow using seed-drop tubes of different angles was also analyzed, and with an increase in delivery airflow velocity, the rice-sowing belts aggregated toward the seeding furrow central line, and with an increase in the forward speed, the seed distribution in the forward-speed direction presented an aggregation and then dispersion trend. The field experiment and physiological indices show that the yield of germination acceleration by seed pelleting can reach 7.92 t. ha−1, which was significantly higher than the yields with other treatments.
