The article offers three strategies used by top-performing North American and European companies in launching a product based on a survey conducted by the authors. They say that project requirements should be defined and communicated clearly to teams involved prior to the development of a product. About 39% of the top-performing companies prioritize product development and create a project culture. They also communicate with customers during the entire project.
