In JGR‐Planets, the peer review process is critical to ensuring that the published articles are based on sound scientific principles, follow state‐of‐the‐art techniques while acknowledging relevant prior results, and present exciting discoveries or novel understanding of the fundamental processes that affect solar system objects. JGR‐Planets covers a broad range of topics addressing every aspect of geoscience with the only requirement that the work addresses planetary processes. The wide breadth of topics published is reflected by our editorial team composed in 2023 of associate editors Adrian Brown, Jun Cui, Joel Davis, Leigh Fletcher, Matthias Grott, Ananya Mallik, Germán Martínez, Molly McCanta, Katarina Miljkovic, Naomi Murdoch, Ryan Park, Arianna Piccialli, Andrew Poppe, Beatrix Sánchez‐Cano, Laura Schaefer, Mariek Schmidt, Yasuhito Sekine, Kelsi Singer, Michael Sori, Norihiko Sugimoto, Sonia Tikoo, David Trang, and Zhiyong Xiao in addition to the editors who authored this note. We rely on the expertise of the community to vet the articles submitted to the journal. In 2023, JGR‐Planets benefited from 1,184 reviews provided by 731 unique volunteer referees. We also received help from 19 guest editors working on four active special collections. The article titled "Manufacturing of Conductive, Wear-Resistant Nanoreinforced Cu-Ti Alloys Using Partially Oxidized Electrolytic Copper Powder" has been retracted by the Nanomaterials Editorial Office. Concerns were raised about image overlap between this article and two previously published articles from different authors. An investigation confirmed the overlap, and the authors were unable to provide satisfactory explanations or validate the reliability of their findings. As a result, the paper has been retracted in accordance with MDPI's retraction policy and the Committee on Publication Ethics guidelines. The article titled "Kinematic of the Position and Orientation Synchronization of the Posture of a n DoF Upper-Limb Exoskeleton with a Virtual Object in an Immersive Virtual Reality Environment" has been retracted by the journal. The article titled "RETRACTED: Teklemariam et al. Isolation and Characterization of a Novel Lytic Phage, vB_PseuP-SA22, and Its Efficacy against Carbapenem-Resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa" has been retracted by the journal Antibiotics. This letter, published in the Annals of Pharmacotherapy, corrects a statement made in an article titled "Pirtobrutinib: A New and Distinctive Treatment Option for B-Cell Malignancies." The correction pertains to the compatibility of acid suppression therapy with acalabrutinib. The published article stated that acid suppression does not affect the absorption of pirtobrutinib, while acalabrutinib absorption is decreased in the presence of acid suppressive therapy. However, the US Package Insert for acalabrutinib tablets, last updated in August 2022, mentions no effect with acid suppression therapy on the absorption of the acalabrutinib tablet. Further inquiry to AstraZeneca revealed that acalabrutinib capsule exposure is decreased in the presence of acid suppression therapy. Clinical trials showed no clinically relevant difference when administering acalabrutinib tablets with or without proton pump inhibitors. It is important to consider the impact of other pharmaceutical agents on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of newer oncologic therapies. [Extracted from the article]
