This article compared two high-order numerical schemes for convection-diffusion delay differential equation via two fractional operators with singular kernels. The objective is to present two effective schemes that give (3 - α) and second order of accuracy in the time direction when α ∈ (0 , 1) using Caputo and Modified Atangana-Baleanu Caputo derivatives, respectively. We also implemented a trigonometric spline technique in the space direction, giving second order of accuracy. Moreover, meticulous analysis shows these numerical schemes to be unconditionally stable and convergent. The efficiency and reliability of these schemes are illustrated by numerical experiments. Summary In this paper, computational analysis of a Caputo fractional variable‐order system with inductor‐capacitor (LC) and resistor‐capacitor (RC) electrical circuit models is presented. The existence and uniqueness of solutions to the given problem are determined using Schaefer's fixed point theorem and the Banach contraction principle, respectively. The proposed problem's computational consequences are addressed and analyzed using modified Euler and Runge–Kutta fourth‐order techniques. Furthermore, the suggested model compares several orders, including integer, fractional, and variable orders. To demonstrate the utility of the proposed approach, computational simulations are carried out on LC and RC circuit models of various orders. We investigate a generalized class of fractional hemivariational inequalities involving the time-fractional aspect. The existence result is established by employing the Rothe method in conjunction with the surjectivity of multivalued pseudomonotone operators and the properties of the Clarke generalized gradient. We are also exploring a numerical approach to address the problem, utilizing both spatially semi-discrete and fully discrete finite elements, along with a discrete approximation of the fractional derivative. All these results are applied to the analysis and numerical approximations of a frictional contact model that describes the quasi-static contact between a viscoelastic body and a solid foundation. The constitutive relation is modeled using the fractional Kelvin-Voigt law. The contact and friction are described by the subdifferential boundary conditions. The variational formulation of this problem leads to a fractional hemivariational inequality. The error estimates for this problem are derived. Finally, here's a second concrete example to illustrate the application. We propose a frictional contact model that incorporates normal compliance and Coulomb friction to describe the quasi-static contact between a viscoelastic body and a solid foundation. This article presents two innovative mathematical models for the dynamics of Chikungunya virus contamination by using Caputo fractional derivative. By applying the recently developed numerical technique to find the approximate solutions for the Chikungunya virus system which allowing us for the valuable insights. Through a rigorous analysis of the obtained numerical and graphical solutions, the impact of fractional orders on the infection dynamics is thoroughly examined. Additionally, Banach's fix point theorm is used to investigates the existence, uniqueness, and stability properties of the solutions, providing a deeper understanding of the key parameters that affect the spread and persistence of the infection. In this article, a numerical method is presented for solving non-linear multi-order fractional differential equations (FDEs) using orthonormal Boubaker polynomials as basis functions. The operational matrix is constructed for the product of basis functions. The fractional derivative is considered in the Caputo sense. Using this technique, non-linear multi-order FDEs converted into a system of non-linear algebraic equations, which can then be solved numerically. The proposed method is implemented using MATLAB for numerical analysis. The present work investigates Bloch equations arising in magnetic resonance with Caputo and Caputo Fabrizio derivatives. Banach's fixed point approach is used to construct the existence theory for the model's solution. Also, the stability of the solution is established by Ulam–Hyers conditions. A novel 3-step iterative method is used for the considered model's numerical simulation with Caputo and Caputo Fabrizio derivative. This iterative method is formulated by combining Lagrange's interpolation with the fundamental theorem of integral calculus. The proposed method's error estimate is provided. The simulation results are displayed in tabulated and graphical form for distinct values of fractional order. The results demonstrate how the proposed method is accurate and appropriate for analysing fractional Bloch model. In this study, we employ the effective iterative method to address the fractional Wu-Zhang Equation within the framework of the Caputo Derivative. The effective iterative method offers a practical approach to obtaining approximate solutions for fractional differential equations. We seek to provide insights into its solution and behavior by applying this method to the Wu-Zhang Equation. Through numerical analysis and the presentation of relevant tables and Figures, we demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of this method in solving the fractional Wu-Zhang Equation. This study investigates a class of initial-boundary value problems pertaining to the time-fractional mixed sub-diffusion and diffusion-wave equation (SDDWE). To facilitate the development of a numerical method and analysis, the original problem is transformed into a new integro-differential model which includes the Caputo derivatives and the Riemann-Liouville fractional integrals with orders belonging to (0, 1). By providing an a priori estimate of the exact solution, we have established the continuous dependence on the initial data and uniqueness of the solution for the problem. We propose a second-order method to approximate the fractional Riemann-Liouville integral and employ an L2-type formula to approximate the Caputo derivative. This results in a method with a temporal accuracy of second-order for approximating the considered model. The proof of the unconditional stability of the proposed difference scheme is established. Moreover, we demonstrate the proposed method's potential to construct and analyze a second-order L2-type numerical scheme for a broader class of the time-fractional mixed SDDWEs with multi-term time-fractional derivatives. This article looks for a reliable numerical technique to solve the Allen–Cahn equation using the Caputo time-fractional derivative. The fractional derivative semi-discretization approach using finite differences of the second order is shown first. The cubic B-spline collocation method is used to get a full discretization. We prove the conditional stability and convergence of the suggested approach. The technique's effectiveness is demonstrated with numerical examples using two test problems. This paper gives a highly efficient technique to analyse the fractional BBM-Burger equation and fractional Diffusion-Wave equation. These equations are used to model various real-life phenomena like acoustic gravity waves, diffusion theory, anomalous diffusive systems, and wave propagation phenomena. A modified technique, which is the combination of the Homotopy perturbation method and Laplace transform, is used for getting the numerical solution. The Lyapunov function is used to investigate asymptotic stability, and the maximum absolute error for the proposed technique is also examined. In this work, we have also proposed new semi analytical scheme combining least-squares and asymptotic homotopy perturbation methods AHPM for the solution of Fractional Fokker–Planck Equation (FFPE). The Caputo version of derivative is used. The finding of this work is fast convergence of the AHPM to the solutions of linear and nonlinear applied problems. AHPM is a modified form of the HPM and is particularly useful for solving problems with small or large parameters. This can be seen as a clear advantage of this new semi analytical method over existing methods because its implementation and the calculation involved in it are much simpler and easier. The proposed method solved the problems without using Ji-Huan He and Adomian polynomials. Numerical solutions obtained in this way show that this approach is simple and computationally very attractive. An error estimate for the solution is also provided. Approximate solutions of AHPM are tabulated and graphically displayed to show that AHPM is effective and accurate.

The time-fractional fourth-order reaction-diffusion problem, which contains more than one time-fractional derivative of orders lying between 0 and 1, is considered. This problem is the generalized version of the problem discussed by Nikan et al. Appl. Math. Model. 89 (2021), 819–836 that has only one time-fractional derivative. It is widely used in the study of chemical waves and patterns in reaction-diffusion systems. The analysis of non-smooth solutions to this problem is discussed broadly using the Caputo-time fractional derivative. The non-smooth solutions to the problem have a weak singularity close to zero that can be efficiently handled by considering the non-uniform mesh. The method based on the non-uniform time stepping is an efficacious way to regain accuracy. The current study presents the trigonometric quintic B-spline approach to solve this multi-term time-fractional fourth-order problem using graded mesh and effective grading parameters. The stability and convergence results are proved through rigorous analysis, which helps choose the optimal grading parameter. The accuracy and effectiveness of our technique are observed in our numerical experiments that manifest the comparison of uniform and non-uniform meshes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
