Study guidelines include a comparison of the return loss of a microstrip patch antenna with a novel dual band coplanar waveguide (CPW) antenna design. An FR4 Epoxy (4.4) material flexible substrate with a rigidity of 1.6 mm was used to construct the rectangular antenna. Ansoft HFSS version 13.0 software was used for the performance analysis. Using the G Power 80% estimation, we arrive at a sample size of 20. It has been determined that a return loss of-30 dB may be achieved with this dual-band CPW antenna. The microstrip antenna has a return loss of-22 dB. When comparing two groups, a significant difference exists when P is less than.05. The return loss is reduced and compared between the microstrip antenna and the novel dual band coplanar waveguide antenna design. Since the p value is less than 0.05, the finding is statistically significant. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
