The current paradigm of joint detection and tracking still requires a large amount of instance-level trajectory annotation, which incurs high annotation costs. Moreover, treating embedding training as a classification problem would lead to difficulties in model fitting. In this paper, we propose a new self-supervised multi-object tracking based on the real-time joint detection and embedding (JDE) framework, which we termed as self-supervised multi-object tracking (SS-MOT). In SS-MOT, the short-term temporal correlations between objects within and across adjacent video frames are both considered as self-supervised constraints, where the distances between different objects are enlarged while the distances between same object of adjacent frames are brought closer. In addition, short trajectories are formed by matching pairs of adjacent frames using a matching algorithm, and these matched pairs are treated as positive samples. The distances between positive samples are then minimized for futher the feature representation of the same object. Therefore, our method can be trained on videos without instance-level annotations. We apply our approach to state-of-the-art JDE models, such as FairMOT, Cstrack, and SiamMOT, and achieve comparable results to these supevised methods on the widely used MOT17 and MOT20 challenges. Mechanotransduction is the essential process that cells convert mechanical force into biochemical responses, and electrochemical sensor stands out from existing techniques by providing quantitative and real-time information about the biochemical signals during cellular mechanotransduction. However, the intracellular biochemical response evoked by mechanical force has been poorly monitored. In this paper, we report a method to apply local stretch on single cell and simultaneously monitor the ensuing intracellular biochemical signals. Specifically, a ferromagnetic micropipette was fabricated to locally stretch a single cell labeled with Fe3O4 nanoparticles under the external magnetic field, and the SiC@Pt nanowire electrode (SiC@Pt NWE) was inserted into the cell to monitor the intracellular hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) production induced by the local stretch. As a proof of concept, this work quantitatively investigated the elevated amount of H2O2 levels in single endothelial cell under different stretching amplitudes. A highly efficient ratiometric electrochemiluminescence (ECL) immunoassay was explored by bidirectionally regulating the ECL intensity of two luminophors. The immunoassay was conducted in a split-type mode consisting of an ECL detection procedure and a sandwich immunoreaction. The ECL detection was executed using a dual-disk glassy carbon electrode modified with two potential-resolved luminophors (g-C3N4-Ag and Ru-MOF-Ag nanocomposites), and the sandwich immunoreaction using glucose oxidase (GOx)-modified SiO2 nanospheres as labels was carried out in a 96-well plate. The Ag nanoparticles (NPs) acted as bifunctional units both for triggering the resonance energy transfer (RET) with g-C3N4 and for accelerating the electron transfer rate of the Ru-MOF-Ag ECL reaction. When the H2O2 catalyzed by GOx in the 96-well plate was transferred to the dual-disk glass carbon electrode, the doped Ag NPs in the two luminophors could be etched, thus destroying the RET between C3N4 and the accelerated reaction to Ru-MOF, resulting in an opposite trend in the ECL signal outputted from the dual disks. Using the ratio of the two signals for quantification, the constructed immunosensor for a model target, i.e. myoglobin, exhibited a low detection limit of 4.7 × 10–14 g/mL. The ingenious combination of ECL ratiometry, bifunctional Ag NPs, and a split-type strategy effectively reduces environmental and human errors, offering a more precise and sensitive analysis for complex samples. The first-order antisymmetric (A1) mode lamb wave resonator (LWR) based on Z-cut LiNbO3 thin films has attracted significant attention and is widely believed to be a candidate for next-generation reconfigurable filters with high frequency and large bandwidth (BW). However, it is challenging for traditional interdigitated electrodes (IDTs) based LWR filters to meet the requirement of a clean frequency spectrum response and enough out-of-band (OoB) rejection. To solve the problem, we propose LWRs with checker-shaped IDTs for the design of filters that meet the Wi-Fi 6E standard. By taking advantage of checker-shaped IDTs with unparalleled boundaries, the fabricated 6-GHz resonators successfully suppress higher-order A1 spurious modes, demonstrating a spurious-free impedance response and a high figure-of-merit (FOM) up to 104. Based on the demonstrated checker-shaped electrode design, the filter features a center frequency (f0) of more than 6 GHz, a 3 dB BW exceeding 620 MHz, and an excellent OoB rejection >25 dB, consistent with the acoustic-electric-electromagnetic (EM) multi-physics simulations. Furthermore, through the capacitance-inductance matching network technology, the filter's voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) is successfully reduced below 2, showing an excellent 50 Ω impedance matching. Coptis teeta Wall. (Ranunculaceae), an endangered plant species of significant medicinal value, predominantly undergoes clonal propagation, potentially compromising the species' evolutionary potential and ultimately increase its risk of extinction. In this study, we successfully assembled two sets of haploid genomes (Hap1 and Hap2) for C. teeta, comprising nine homologous chromosome pairs, by employing Illumina and PacBio sequencing technologies. The genome annotation identified a total of 43,979 and 46,311 protein-coding genes in Hap1 and in Hap2, and most of them were functionally annotated. The high-quality reference genome will serve as an indispensable genomic resource for conservation and comprehensive exploitation of this endangered species. Between the two haploid genomes, numerous structural alterations were detected within the nine homologous chromosome pairs, potentially resulting in aberrant synapsis and irregular chromosomal segregation and thus contributing to the sustained preservation of clonal propagation in C. teeta. The findings offer new perspective for elucidating the genetic mechanism underlying the compromised sexual reproductive capacity of C. teeta, thereby facilitating its enhancement though molecular breeding and genetic improvement. The upas tree (Antiaris toxicaria Lesch.) is a medically important plant that contains various specialized metabolites with significant bioactivity. The lack of a reference genome hinders the in-depth study as well as rational exploitation and conservation of this plant. Here, we present the first holotype-resolved chromosome-scale genome of the upas tree. The assembled genome consisted of 26 chromosomes that contain 1.34 Gb of sequencing data with a contig N50 length of 60 Mb. Genome annotation identified 43,500 protein-coding genes in the upas tree genome, of which 98.75% were functionally annotated. After conducting a compression test on rocket storage tanks, the presence of residual S2− and Cl− ions was detected in the remaining solution. These ions, when concentrated in areas prone to high residual concentrations such as weld seams, can cause corrosion. Therefore, this study focuses on the mechanical properties and corrosion behavior of resistance spot welded (RSW) joints in 2219 aluminum alloy storage tanks in a service environment with a mixed solution of 1 mg/L NaCl and 0.1 mg/L Na2S. The results indicate that the joint exhibits a tight mechanical bonding wires, with the fusion zone being isolated from the external environment, making it difficult for the corrosive solution to penetrate. However, some pitting corrosion is observed in the base metal and the heat affected zone. The corrosion products mainly consist of Al2O3 and AlCl3. The S2− ions are released in the form of H2S after hydrolysis. Comparing the mechanical properties of the joints before and after 60 days of immersion, no significant loss in mechanical performance is observed. The joint fractures exhibit a combination of brittle and ductile fracture modes. The presence of S2− and Cl− ions does not affect the safe operation of the rocket propellant tanks. Osteoporosis (OP) is a common metabolic bone disease characterized by low bone mass and microstructural deterioration of bone. Changes in the composition and structure of gut microbiota (GM) are related to changes of bone mass and bone microstructure. However, the relationship between GM and bone mineral density (BMD) is complex, and data are especially scarce for Chinese Han youth. Therefore, 62 Chinese Han youth participants were recruited. Furthermore, according to the T–score evaluation criteria of the World Health Organization (WHO), we divided the BMD levels of participants into three groups: osteoporosis\BDL, osteopenia\BDM, normal bone density\BDH, and the associations between GM community and BMD groups were conducted. According to alpha and beta diversity analysis, significant differences were found in the microbial richness and composition between groups. The dominant phyla of GM in a cohort of Chinese Han youth were Bacteroidota (50.6%) and Firmicutes (41.6%). Anaerobic microorganisms, such as g_Faecalibacterium and g_Megamonas, account for the largest proportion in the gut, which were mainly Firmicutes phylum. The dominant genera and species in the three BMD groups were g_Prevotella, g_Bacteroides, g_Faecalibacterium, g_Megamonas, s_Prevotella copri, s_unclassified_g_Faecalibacterium, s_unclassified_g_Prevotella, s_unclassified_g_Bacteroides and s_Bacteroides plebeius. g_Faecalibacterium, g_Bacteroides and g_Ruminococcus differed between the BDH and BDL groups as well as between the BDH and BDM groups. LEfSe showed three genus communities and eight species communities were enriched in the three BMD groups, respectively. The associations between microbial relative abundance and T–score was not statistically significant by Spearman and regression analysis. In conclusion, the alpha diversity indexes in the BDH group were higher than in the BDL group, and several taxa were identified that may be the targets for diagnosis and therapy of OP. The multi-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) is widely utilized in clinical diagnosis and monitoring of cardiac conditions. The advancement of deep learning has led to the emergence of automated multi-lead ECG diagnostic networks, which have become essential in the fields of biomedical engineering and clinical cardiac disease diagnosis. Intelligent ECG diagnosis techniques encompass Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), Transformers, and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). While CNN is capable of extracting local spatial information from images, it lacks the ability to learn global spatial features and temporal memory features. Conversely, RNN relies on time and can retain significant sequential features. However, they are not proficient in extracting lengthy dependencies of sequence data in practical scenarios. The self-attention mechanism in the Transformer model has the capability of global feature extraction, but it does not adequately prioritize local features and cannot extract spatial and channel features. This paper proposes STFAC-ECGNet, a model that incorporates CAMV-RNN block, CBMV-CNN block, and TSEF block to enhance the performance of the model by integrating the strengths of CNN, RNN, and Transformer. The CAMV-RNN block incorporates a coordinated adaptive simplified self-attention module that adaptively carries out global sequence feature retention and enhances spatial–temporal information. The CBMV-CNN block integrates spatial and channel attentional mechanism modules in a skip connection, enabling the fusion of spatial and channel information. The TSEF block implements enhanced multi-scale fusion of image spatial and sequence temporal features. In this study, comprehensive experiments were conducted using the PTB-XL large publicly available ECG dataset and the China Physiological Signal Challenge 2018 (CPSC2018) database. P2X receptors, a subfamily of ligand-gated ion channels activated by extracellular ATP, are implicated in various physiopathological processes, including inflammation, pain perception, and immune and respiratory regulations. Structural determinations using crystallography and cryo-EM have revealed that the extracellular three-dimensional architectures of different P2X subtypes across various species are remarkably identical, greatly advancing our understanding of P2X activation mechanisms. However, structural studies yield paradoxical architectures of the intracellular domain (ICD) of different subtypes (e.g., P2X3 and P2X7) at the apo state, and the role of the ICD in P2X functional regulation remains unclear. Here, we propose that the P2X3 receptor's ICD has an apo state conformation similar to the open state but with a less tense architecture, containing allosteric sites that influence P2X3's physiological and pathological roles. Using covalent occupancy, engineered disulfide bonds and voltage-clamp fluorometry, we suggested that the ICD can undergo coordinated motions with the transmembrane domain of P2X3, thereby facilitating channel activation. Additionally, we identified a novel P2X3 enhancer, PSFL77, and uncovered its potential allosteric site located in the 1α3β domain of the ICD. PSFL77 modulated pain perception in P2rx3+/+, but not in P2rx3−/−, mice, indicating that the 1α3β, a "tunable" region implicated in the regulation of P2X3 functions. Thus, when P2X3 is in its apo state, its ICD architecture is fairly ordered rather than an unstructured outward folding, enabling allosteric modulation of the signaling of P2X3 receptors. To evaluate the residual stresses of Stellite−6 dissimilar layers on the water erosion-prone regions of low-pressure last-stage blades, the effects of the microstructure, microhardness and cladding passes on the residual stress distributions of cladding layers are investigated carefully. Although the cladded blades undergo stress relief heat treatment, the residual tensile stress in the cladding Stellite−6 layer is 200 ~ 300 MPa, and the residual compressive stress in the substrate is − 100 ~ − 150 MPa. Due to the microstructure and property mismatch between the cladding layer and substrate, there is a great residual stress gradient at the interface of the Stellite−6 alloy layer and substrate. The addition of cladding passes on the concave side of the blade can increase the peak tensile stress to 374 MPa in the other side cladding layer; however, the cladding pass significantly reduces the residual stress gradient at the interface of the Stellite−6 alloy layer and substrate. Copper-clad steel wire is widely used in electric power, railroads, automobiles, and other fields. However, how to balance production efficiency and wire quality is still a challenging task. In this paper, a continuous cladding composite casting method for copper-clad steel wire is proposed based on the hot-dip plating process, which adopts a removable graphite crucible and S-shaped wiring to control the thickness and eccentricity of the cladding metal, and at the same time adopts connecting the electrical resistance furnace with a water-cooled crystallizer to achieve rapid solidification, which in turn strengthens the mechanical properties of the copper-clad wire and thus realizes the rapid and continuous preparation of copper-clad steel wires with good quality. In this study, the optimum process parameters, including drawing speed and pure copper melt temperature, were provided to reveal the mechanism of metallurgical bonding at the solid–liquid composite interface. The circumferential uniformity, mechanical properties, and electrical conductivity of the prepared copper-clad steel wires were tested. The growth mechanism of the copper-coated structure and the mechanism of rapid solidification to strengthen the mechanical properties are described. Introduction: A dynamic molecular biomarker that can identify early efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy remains an unmet clinical need. Here we evaluate if a novel circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) assay, xM, used for treatment response monitoring (TRM), that quantifies changes in ctDNA tumor fraction (TF), can predict outcome benefits in patients treated with ICI alone or in combination with chemotherapy in a real-world (RW) cohort. Methods: This retrospective study consisted of patients with advanced cancer from the Tempus de-identified clinical genomic database who received longitudinal liquid-based next-generation sequencing. Eligible patients had a blood sample ≤ 40 days prior to the start of ICI initiation and an on-treatment blood sample 15–180 days post ICI initiation. TF was calculated via an ensemble algorithm that utilizes TF estimates derived from variants and copy number information. Patients with molecular response (MR) were defined as patients with a ≥ 50% decrease in TF between tests. In the subset of patients with rw-imaging data between 2 and 18 weeks of ICI initiation, the predictive value of MR in addition to rw-imaging was compared to a model of rw-imaging alone. Results: The evaluable cohort (N = 86) was composed of 14 solid cancer types. Patients received either ICI monotherapy (38.4%, N = 33) or ICI in combination with chemotherapy (61.6%, N = 53). Patients with MR had significantly longer rw-overall survival (rwOS) (hazard ratio (HR) 0.4, P = 0.004) and rw-progression free survival (rwPFS) (HR 0.4, P = 0.005) than patients with molecular non-response (nMR). Similar results were seen in the ICI monotherapy subcohort; HR 0.2, P = 0.02 for rwOS and HR 0.2, P = 0.01 for rwPFS. In the subset of patients with matched rw-imaging data (N = 51), a model incorporating both MR and rw-imaging was superior in predicting rwOS than rw-imaging alone (P = 0.02). Federated learning (FL) enables users to train the global model cooperatively without exposing their private data across the engaged parties, which is widely used in privacy-sensitive business. However, during the life cycle of FL models, both adversaries' attacks and ownership generalization threaten the FL models' copyright and affect the models' reliability. To address these problems, existing model watermarking techniques can be used to verify FL model's ownership. However, due to the lack of credible binding from "model extracted watermarks" to "ownership verification", it is difficult to form a closed-loop watermarking framework for copyright protection. Therefore, starting from the shortcomings of the current watermark verification scheme, this article proposed WFB, a blockchain-empowered watermarking framework for ownership verification of federated models. Firstly, we propose a improved watermark generation algorithm to solve the credibility issue of watermarks. Secondly, we propose a watermark embedding method in federated learning, while blockchain technology is used to ensure the credible storage of watermark information throughout the process. Thirdly, the credibility of ownership verification is improved because of the watermark authenticity. Microflow catalysis is a cutting-edge approach to advancing chemical synthesis and manufacturing, but the challenge lies in developing efficient and stable multiphase catalysts. Here we showcase incorporating amine-containing metal-organic cages into automated microfluidic reactors through covalent bonds, enabling highly continuous flow catalysis. Two Fe4L4 tetrahedral cages bearing four uncoordinated amines were designed and synthesized. Post-synthetic modifications of the amine groups with 3-isocyanatopropyltriethoxysilane, introducing silane chains immobilized on the inner walls of the microfluidic reactor. The immobilized cages prove highly efficient for the reaction of anthranilamide with aldehydes, showing superior reactivity and recyclability relative to free cages. This superiority arises from the large cavity, facilitating substrate accommodation and conversion, a high mass transfer rate and stable covalent bonds between cage and microreactor. The establishment of discrete element method (DEM) model for simulating the behavior of viscous soil can significantly contribute to the development of agricultural machinery, particularly in hilly areas worldwide. There is limited research on the parameter calibration of the DEM for purple soil in the Southwest China and its interaction mechanism between very narrow tine. Piling up test, rotating drum test and design-expert 12.0 software were used to design Plackett–Burman test, steepest climb test and Box–Behnken test successively. Combined with soil intrinsic parameter measurement test, soil simulation parameter calibration and optimization were completed. Based on the optimized DEM simulation parameters, the average relative errors of static repose angle and dynamic repose angle were 1.934 and 2.289%, respectively. The accuracy of parameter calibration results of DEM simulation was proved. Three kinds of very narrow tines were designed and processed. The interaction model and mechanism between soil-touch parts and soil was established. The average relative errors between the DEM simulation results of the forward resistance and disturbance area of the three soil-touch parts and the soil bin test results were 7.22% and 11.24%, respectively, which further proved that the calibration results of DEM parameters of purple soil and the interaction model with the soil-touch parts in this study were reliable. The physical and interaction parameters of slope cultivated purple soil in Southwest China were determined based on static-dynamic repose angle, providing more accurate parameters for study of soil-touch parts. SLC4A4 variants are the etiologies of inherited proximal renal tubular acidosis (pRTA), which results in metabolic acidosis, hypokalemia, glaucoma, band keratopathy, and cataract. This study aims to characterize SLC4A4 variant and uniparental isodisomy of chromosome 4 in a patient, and analyse the functional characterization of SLC4A4 variants. This study analyzed renal tubular acidosis disease genes by whole exome sequencing (WES). H3M2 algorithm was used to analyze the run of homozygosity region in chromosomal regions in trio-WES data. The pathogenicity analysis of variants was performed using bioinformatics tools. Additionally, protein stability was analyzed by cycloheximide chase assay. Whole-cell patch clamping was used to examine the electrophysiological properties of NBCe1-A. A novel homozygous SLC4A4 variant was identified in the patient: a missense variant c.496C > T, p. Arg166Trp (NM_003759.4). But the father was heterozygous variant carrier, and the mother did not detect the variant. The H3M2 and UPDio algorithm revealed paternal uniparental isodisomy on chromosome 4 in the patient. SIFT, Poly Phen-2, FATHMM and Mutant Taster showed that the variant might be pathogenic. The tertiary structure analysis showed that the variant could cause structural damage to NBCe1 protein. Foldx results showed that the protein stability of the variant was slightly reduced. Cycloheximide chase assay demonstrated that the variant affects protein stability. The result of electrophysiological studies showed that the variant altered Na+/HCO3− cotransport activity of protein. We systematically investigate the mass spectrum and two-body open-charm strong decays of charmonium states in a coupled-channel model where the 3 P 0 quark-antiquark pair creation mechanism is employed. The results of masses, mass shifts, proportions of the c c ¯ component, and open-charm decay widths are provided. The S-D wave mixing angles and di-electric decay widths for vector mesons are also presented. Based on our results, we find that the ψ (3770) , ψ (4040) , ψ (4160) , ψ (4360) , and ψ (4415) can be assigned as the 1 3 D 1 -, 3 3 S 1 -, 2 3 D 1 -, 4 3 S 1 -, and 3 3 D 1 -dominated charmonium states, respectively. The ψ 3 (3842) is a good candidate of the ψ 3 (1 D) charmonium state. The calculated mass and strong decay width of χ c 1 (2 P) with significant continuum contribution (∼ 57%) favor the charmonium interpretation for the mysterious χ c 1 (3872) . When considering the large uncertainty in the observed decay width, the possibility to assign the χ c 0 (3860) as the χ c 0 (2 P) charmonium state cannot be ruled out. One may describe well the properties of χ c 2 (3930) with the χ c 2 (2 P) charmonium. The predictions on properties of other c c ¯ states can be tested by future experiments. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Multi-object tracking (MOT) is a task to identify objects in videos, however, objects with similar appearance or occlusion may cause frequent ID switching, which is the main challenge of current MOT. In this paper, we propose a novel self-cross graph neural network-based multi-object tracking method, which we termed as SCGTracker. This method seamlessly integrates object detection and tracking through graph neural networks, building upon the foundation of the JDE paradigm. Specifically, we construct graph structures to capture the correlation between objects in both spatial and temporal dimensions. To further tackle the frequent ID switching problem, we employ an attention mechanism to aggregate object context information within the same frame and across different frames, updating the object information via graph neural networks to derive highly distinctive appearance features. Ultimately, the obtained strongly distinguishable object appearance features serve to mitigate the issue of frequent object ID switches. In experiments conducted on the MOT17 test set, our proposed method yields promising results, achieving a 73% Multiple Object Tracking Accuracy (MOTA) and a 73.2% ID F1 score. Environmental changes can trigger endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and misfolded protein accumulation, potentially leading to pre-eclampsia (PE). Amyloid-β (Aβ) is a crucial misfolded protein that can overactivate autophagy. Our study assessed the expression of Aβ1−42 and autophagic activity in PE placental tissues and trophoblasts under ER stress. Placental tissues were surgically collected from normal pregnant women (NP) and pregnant women with late-onset PE (LOPE) delivering through cesarean section. The expression levels of Aβ1−42 were detected in both PE and NP placental tissues, as well as in tunicamycin (TM)-induced HTR-8/SVneo cells. Autophagy-related proteins, such as Beclin-1, the ratio of LC3-II to LC3-I, ATG5, and SQSTM1/p62 in the placental tissues and HTR-8/SVneo cells were measured by Western blot. The number and morphology of autophagosomes were observed using transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Potential targets associated with the unfolded protein response (UPR) in the placental tissues of NP and PE cases were screened using PCR Arrays. The misfolded protein was significantly upregulated in the PE group. In both PE placental tissues and TM-induced HTR-8/SVneo cells, not only was Aβ1−42 upregulated, but also Beclin-1, ATG5, and LC3BII/I were significantly increased, accompanied by an increase in autophagosome count, while SQSTM1/P62 was downregulated. A total of 17 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) associated with the UPR were identified, among which elevated calnexin (CANX) was validated in the placenta from both PE and TM-induced HTR-8/SVneo cells. Background: Metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) is a growing threat leading to substantial disease burden globally. Poor sleep and physical inactivity are common in modern societies and independently associated with MAFLD, however, their joint effects on MAFLD remains unclear. Methods: This population-based cross-sectional study was conducted in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China, between July 2019 and September 2021. Self-reported sleep behaviors and physical activity (PA) were assessed using validated questionnaires. The primary outcome was radiological diagnosis of MAFLD. Results: Of the 10 089 participants aged 47.0 (9.1) years (51.6% men), 3854 (38.2%) individuals had MAFLD. Poor sleep quality and physical inactivity were independently and jointly associated with an increased prevalence of MAFLD, independent of traditional risk factors (P < 0.05). Compared to subjects with guideline-recommended moderate-to-vigorous PA (MVPA) and good sleep quality, individuals with no recommended MVPA and poor sleep had the highest possibility of MAFLD (odds ratio = 2.36, 95% confidence interval: 1.81 – 3.08). Enhancing sleep quality substantially attenuated MAFLD prevalence regardless of the volume of PA, whereas, engaging in PA well above current guidelines did not adequately counteract the adverse impacts of poor sleep on MAFLD. There are numerous differences between adult acne and adolescent acne in terms of causes, distribution, and characteristics of skin lesions, as well as treatment. This paper aims to summarize the differences between adult and adolescent acne in China, in order to propose more suitable ways to improve their quality of life. We collected basic information, acne-related information, acne-affecting factors, quality of life scores and treatment-related information of acne patients. A total of 552 questionnaires were collected. Adult acne is typically predominant on the cheeks, similar to adolescent acne, with a relatively lower incidence in other areas, apart from the jawline. Pigmentation and depressed scars are present in nearly half of acne patients, while hypertrophic scars are less frequently observed. Teenagers often have a higher consumption of dairy products, sugary drinks, and high-sugar and high-fat foods. Eczema is more common in adult acne. Additionally, more adults than teenagers experience stress and poor quality of life related to acne. Adolescents are more likely to seek treatment online and on social media. Objectives: To use T1ρ mapping to assess myocardial fibrosis and to provide a reference for future clinical application, it is necessary to understand the factors influencing T1ρ values. This study explored the influence of different spin-locking frequencies on T1ρ values under a 3.0-T MR system. Methods: Fifty-seven healthy subjects were prospectively and consecutively included in this study, and T1ρ mapping was performed on them in 3 short-axis slices with three spin-lock frequencies at the amplitude of 300 Hz, 400 Hz, and 500 Hz, then nine T1ρ images were acquired per subject. Four T1ρ-weighted images were acquired using a spin-lock preparation pulse with varying durations (0 msec, 13.3 msec, 26.6 msec, 40 msec). T1ρ relaxation times were quantified for each slice and each myocardial segment. The results were analyzed using Student's t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) methods. Results: Mean T1ρ relaxation times were 43.5 ± 2.8 msec at 300 Hz, 44.9 ± 3.6 msec at 400 Hz, and 46.2 ± 3.1 msec at 500 Hz, showing a significant progressive increase from low to high spin-lock frequency (300 Hz vs. 400 Hz, p = 0.046; 300 Hz vs. 500 Hz, p < 0.001; 400 Hz vs. 500 Hz, p = 0.043). In addition, The T1ρ values of females were significantly higher than those of males (300 Hz, p = 0.049; 400 Hz, p = 0.01; 500 Hz, p = 0.002). Conclusion: In this prospective study, myocardial T1ρ values for the specific CMR setting are provided, and we found that gender and spin-lock frequency can affect the T1ρ values. Critical relevance statement: T1ρ mapping could supersede late gadolinium enhancement for detection of myocardial fibrosis. Establishing reference mean values that take key technical elements into account will facilitate interpretation of data in disease states. In recent years, due to the frequent occurrence of accidents in confined space operations, horizontal ammonia tank trucks with higher accident frequencies were selected for numerical simulation research through comparative analysis. The ammonia concentration variation characteristics of horizontal ammonia tank cars were simulated under four conditions: natural ventilation with 0° incoming air, natural ventilation with 45° incoming air, mechanical ventilation with extraction, and mechanical ventilation with compression. The results indicate that natural ventilation requires 48 h to reduce the ammonia concentration to a safe range for operation, while mechanical ventilation reduces the ammonia concentration to infinity and approaches zero within 30 min according to regulations, making the working environment safer; Set up monitoring points inside the tank to monitor the gas disturbance inside the tank at different wind speeds. Based on the ammonia concentration cloud map and the monitoring point wind speed, it can be concluded that local ammonia accumulation is more likely to occur on both sides of the tank due to poor ventilation. Comparing and analyzing the simulated values with theoretical calculations and experiments, it was found that there are differences in the degree of gas change but the overall trend is the same. Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness and is characterized by progressive retinal ganglion cell (RGC) loss and retinal nerve fiber layer thinning. Currently, no existing treatment is effective for the preservation of RGCs. MicroRNA-22-3p (miR22) and small extracellular vesicles derived from mesenchymal stem cells (MSC-sEVs) have neuroprotective effects. In this study, we apply miR22-overexpressing MSC-sEVs in an N-methyl-D-aspartic acid (NMDA)-induced RGC injury model to assess their short-term therapeutic effects and explore the underlying mechanisms. We find that mice in the miR22-sEVs-treated group have thicker retinas, fewer apoptotic cells, more reserved RGCs, better retinal function, and lower expression levels of Bax and caspase-3. MiR22-sEVs treatment promotes viability, inhibits apoptosis and inhibits Bax and caspase-3 expression in RGC-5 cells. MiR22 targets mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 12 to inhibit apoptosis by regulating the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway. In the photothermal synergistic catalytic conversion of CO2 and H2O, the catalyst harnesses solar energy to accumulate heat, thereby elevating the reaction system's temperature. The influence of this temperature effect on surface chemical reactions remains an underexplored area. Here the impact of temperature on the surface-level thermodynamic reactions and conversion of CO2 with H2O on oxide semiconductors at the atomic scale was investigated using first-principle calculations. 13 different metal oxides and 5 transition metal clusters were used to introduce surface functional sites on the TiO2 supporting catalyst. The potential metal oxide cocatalysts that could be most beneficial to the following conversion of CO2 by H2O were initially screened by calculating the degrees of promotion of CO2 adsorption and activation of surface H to provide protons. The proton donation and hydrogen evolution difficulty from H2O were further analyzed, identifying transition metal cocatalysts that promote direct CO2 hydrogenation. Upon introducing bifunctional sites to facilitate adsorption and reduction, the production of CH3OH and CH4 could be further enhanced through the facilitation of the proton donation process of H2O. The results of Gibbs free-energy calculations revealed that increasing temperature enhances the reaction thermodynamics for each C1 product formation at different surface sites to varying degrees. These findings offer valuable theoretical insights for designing and regulating active sites on oxide semiconductor surfaces for efficient photothermal catalytic CO2 reduction by H2O. Phospholipase A1 (PLA1) is a kind of specific phospholipid hydrolase widely used in food, medical, textile. However, limitations in its expression and enzymatic activity have prompted the investigation of the phospholipase-assisting protein PlaS. In this study, we elucidate the role of PlaS in enhancing the expression and activity of PlaA1 through N-terminal truncation. Our research demonstrates that truncating the N-terminal region of PlaS effectively overcomes its inhibitory effect on host cells, resulting in improved cell growth and increased protein solubility of the protein. The yeast two-hybrid assay confirms the interaction between PlaA1 and N-terminal truncated PlaS (∆N27 PlaS), highlighting their binding capabilities. Furthermore, in vitro studies using Biacore analysis reveal a concentration-dependent and specific binding between PlaA1 and ∆N27 PlaS, exhibiting high affinity. Molecular docking analysis provides insights into the hydrogen bond interactions between ∆N27 PlaS and PlaA1, identifying key amino acid residues crucial for their binding. Finally, the enzyme activity of PLA1 was boost to 8.4 U/mL by orthogonal test. Study significantly contributes to the understanding of the interaction mechanism between PlaS and PlaA1, offering potential strategies for enhancing PlaA1 activity through protein engineering approaches. Gypsification is a common problem in weathered calcareous relics. In previous studies, the solutions of barium hydroxide in water and methanol were used as protectants for gypsification calcareous relics and showed significant differences in permeability. In this study, the underlying reasons for permeability differences between these two solutions were investigated using optical microscopy, ultraviolet–visible spectrophotometry, X-ray diffractometry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, the phenolphthalein test and physical property characterizations. The results indicated that the permeability differences were primarily caused by the solutions' reactivity. Specifically, owing to the high reactivity of barium hydroxide in water, it reacted rapidly with atmospheric CO2 and gypsum (the weathering product) to generate barium carbonate, barium sulfate and calcium hydroxide precipitates. These precipitates hindered the penetration of solution into weathered relics. In contrast, barium hydroxide in methanol did not react with atmospheric CO2 or weathered relics, which also kept the solution in a liquid state during the infiltration process. Therefore, the solution of barium hydroxide in methanol exhibited high permeability. Suturing skill scores have demonstrated strong predictive capabilities for patient functional recovery. The suturing can be broken down into several substep components, including needle repositioning, needle entry angle, etc. Artificial intelligence (AI) systems have been explored to automate suturing skill scoring. Traditional approaches to skill assessment typically focus on evaluating individual sub-skills required for particular substeps in isolation. However, surgical procedures require the integration and coordination of multiple sub-skills to achieve successful outcomes. Significant associations among the technical sub-skill have been established by existing studies. In this paper, we propose a framework for joint skill assessment that takes into account the interconnected nature of sub-skills required in surgery. The prior known relationships among sub-skills are firstly identified. Our proposed AI system is then empowered by the prior known relationships to perform the suturing skill scoring for each sub-skill domain simultaneously. Our approach can effectively improve skill assessment performance through the prior known relationships among sub-skills. Electrochemical uranium extraction from nuclear wastewater represents an emerging strategy for recycling uranium resources. However, in nuclear fuel production which generates the majority of uranium-containing nuclear wastewater, fluoride ion (F−) co-exists with uranyl (UO22+), resulting in the complex species of UO2Fx and thus decreasing extraction efficiency. Herein, we construct Tiδ+-PO43− ion pair extraction sites in Ti(OH)PO4 for efficient electrochemical uranium extraction in wastewater from nuclear fuel production. These sites selectively bind with UO2Fx through the combined Ti-F and multiple O-U-O bonds. In the uranium extraction, the uranium species undergo a crystalline transition from U3O7 to K3UO2F5. In real nuclear wastewater, the uranium is electrochemically extracted with a high efficiency of 99.6% and finally purified as uranium oxide powder, corresponding to an extraction capacity of 6829 mg g−1 without saturation. This work paves an efficient way for electrochemical uranium recycling in real wastewater of nuclear production. Electrochemical uranium extraction from real nuclear wastewater is appealing but challenging. Deep learning has achieved great success in academic benchmarks but fails to work effectively in the real world due to the potential dataset bias. The current learning methods are prone to inheriting or even amplifying the bias present in a training dataset and under-represent specific demographic groups. More recently, some dataset debiasing methods have been developed to address the above challenges based on the awareness of protected or sensitive attribute labels. However, the number of protected or sensitive attributes may be considerably large, making it laborious and costly to acquire sufficient manual annotation. To this end, we propose a prototype-based network to dynamically balance the learning of different subgroups for a given dataset. First, an object pattern embedding mechanism is presented to make the network focus on the foreground region. Then we design a prototype learning method to discover and extract the visual patterns from the training data in an unsupervised way. The number of prototypes is dynamic depending on the pattern structure of the feature space. We evaluate the proposed prototype-based network on three widely used polyp segmentation datasets with abundant qualitative and quantitative experiments. Experimental results show that our proposed method outperforms the CNN-based and transformer-based state-of-the-art methods in terms of both effectiveness and fairness metrics. Moreover, extensive ablation studies are conducted to show the effectiveness of each proposed component and various parameter values. Lastly, we analyze how the number of prototypes grows during the training process and visualize the associated subgroups for each learned prototype. Deep learning-based methods are widely applied to fault diagnostics, which depend on adequate samples. However, fault samples are often limited and even not available in industrial applications. To solve this problem, an optimal transport strategy-based meta-attention network (OTS-MAN) is proposed for the fault diagnosis by exploiting the fault knowledge learned from few source domains to diagnose the target domain with zero sample. Firstly, a new meta-attention network is built to mine discriminative features of each class from the source domain. Then, an optimal transport strategy is designed to align the feature distribution of each category between known fault in the source domain and unknown fault in the target domain. Finally, the similarity scores are obtained to assess the health status of the target domain. The proposed OTS-MAN is trained only with known source domain data and can diagnose unknown faults without previous access to target domain data. The validity of the proposed method is implemented through using two cases. The detection of central nodes in a network is a fundamental task in network science and graph data analysis. During the past decades, numerous centrality measures have been presented to characterize what is a central node. However, few studies address this issue from a statistical inference perspective. In this paper, we formulate the central node identification issue as a weighted kernel density estimation problem on graphs. Such a formulation provides a generic framework for recognizing central nodes. On one hand, some existing centrality evaluation metrics can be unified under this framework through the manipulation of kernel functions. On the other hand, more effective methods for node centrality assessment can be developed based on proper weighting coefficient specification. Experimental results on 20 simulated networks and 53 real networks show that our method outperforms both six prior state-of-the-art centrality measures and two recently proposed centrality evaluation methods. The nitrate (NO3−) electroreduction into ammonia (NH3) represents a promising approach for sustainable NH3 synthesis. However, the variation of adsorption configurations renders great difficulties in the simultaneous optimization of binding energy for the intermediates. Though the extensively reported Cu-based electrocatalysts benefit NO3− adsorption, one of the key issues lies in the accumulation of nitrite (NO2−) due to its weak adsorption, resulting in the rapid deactivation of catalysts and sluggish kinetics of subsequent hydrogenation steps. Here we report a tandem electrocatalyst by combining Cu single atoms catalysts with adjacent Co3O4 nanosheets to boost the electroreduction of NO3− to NH3. The obtained tandem catalyst exhibits a yield rate for NH3 of 114.0 mg NH 3 h−1 cm−2, which exceeds the previous values for the reported Cu-based catalysts. Mechanism investigations unveil that the combination of Co3O4 regulates the adsorption configuration of NO2− and strengthens the binding with NO2−, thus accelerating the electroreduction of NO3− to NH3. An optimal catalyst for nitrate electroreduction should satisfy the simultaneously optimized adsorption of intermediates. The electrochemical synthesis of propylene oxide is far from practical application due to the limited performance (including activity, stability, and selectivity). In this work, we spatially decouple the bromide-mediated process to avoid direct contact between the anode and propylene, where bromine is generated at the anode and then transferred into an independent reactor to react with propylene. This strategy effectively prevents the side reactions and eliminates the interference to stability caused by massive alkene input and vigorously stirred electrolytes. As expected, the selectivity for propylene oxide reaches above 99.9% with a remarkable Faradaic efficiency of 91% and stability of 750-h (>30 days). When the electrode area is scaled up to 25 cm2, 262 g of pure propylene oxide is obtained after 50-h continuous electrolysis at 6.25 A. These findings demonstrate that the electrochemical bromohydrin route represents a viable alternative for the manufacture of epoxides. The practical application of electrosynthesis of propylene oxide is hindered by limited performance. Nucleic acid modifications have attracted increasing attention in recent years since they have been found to be related to a number of diseases including cancer. Previous studies have shown that the early development of endometrial cancer (EC) is often accompanied by changes in methylation levels of related genes, and the expression of related proteins that regulate reactive oxygen species (ROS) shows significant differences in EC cells and tissues. However, it has not been reported whether nucleic acid modifications related to methylation or ROS can serve as biomarkers for EC. Accurate quantification of these nucleic acid modifications still has challenges because their amounts in urine are very low and the interferences in urine are complicated. In this study, a novel dispersive solid-phase extraction (DSPE) method based on chitosan-carbon nanotube-Al2O3 (CS-CNT-Al2O3) has been established for the analysis of 5-hydroxymethyluracil (5 mU), 5-methyl-2′-deoxycytidine (5-mdC), 5-hydroxymethyl-2′-deoxycytidine (5-hmdC), 5-formyl-2′-deoxycytidine (5-fdC), and 8-hydroxy-2′-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) in EC patient urine samples coupled with UHPLC-QE-Orbitrap-MS/MS and HPLC–UV. Firstly, the synthesis of the CS-CNT-Al2O3 nanocomposite was conducted by a sono-coprecipitation method and was characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS), and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR). Under the optimal extraction conditions of DSPE, we successfully quantified 5 mU, 5-mdC, 5-hmdC, 5-fdC, and 8-OHdG in urine samples from 37 EC patients and 39 healthy controls. The results showed that there were significant differences in the levels of 5-mdC, 5-hmdC, 5-fdC, and 8-OHdG in EC patients compared to the healthy control group. The receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was carried out to evaluate the potential of 5-mdC, 5-hmdC, 5-fdC, and 8-OHdG to distinguish EC patients from healthy volunteers. The area under the curve (AUC) for 5-mdC, 5-hmdC, 5-fdC, and 8-OHdG was 0.7412, 0.667, 0.8438, and 0.7981, respectively. It indicated that 5-mdC, 5-hmdC, 5-fdC, and 8-OHdG had certain potential in distinguishing between EC patients and healthy volunteers and they could act as potential non-invasive biomarkers for early diagnosis of EC. Cell migration is an essential manner of different cell lines that are involved in embryological development, immune responses, tumorigenesis, and metastasis in vivo. Physical confinement derived from crowded tissue microenvironments has pivotal effects on migratory behaviors. Distinct migration modes under a heterogeneous extracellular matrix (ECM) have been extensively studied, uncovering potential molecular mechanisms involving a series of biological processes. Significantly, multi-omics strategies have been launched to provide multi-angle views of complex biological phenomena, facilitating comprehensive insights into molecular regulatory networks during cell migration. In this review, we describe biomimetic devices developed to explore the migratory behaviors of cells induced by different types of confined microenvironments in vitro. We also discuss the results of multi-omics analysis of intrinsic molecular alterations and critical pathway dysregulations of cell migration under heterogeneous microenvironments, highlighting the significance of physical confinement–triggered intracellular signal transduction in order to regulate cellular behaviors. Finally, we discuss both the challenges and promise of mechanistic analysis in confinement-induced cell migration, promoting the development of early diagnosis and precision therapeutics. In this paper, a three-step annealing process was employed to treat IGZO thin-film field-effect transistors (TFTs). We observed that TFTs prepared by an initial high-temperature thermal annealing exhibited a low threshold voltage. By employing a second-step low-temperature annealing, the threshold voltage of the TFT was positively shifted, demonstrating improved turn-off characteristics. However, after this process, a significant decrease in TFT mobility and a change in threshold voltage were observed. By introducing a third 633 nm laser annealing technique, we managed to control the threshold voltage and improve mobility. In robot grinding, the path planning has always been the main factor affecting the grinding efficiency. To improve the accuracy and automation level of robot grinding, a novel path planning method based on workpiece point cloud is proposed for the grinding of weld seam on curved surface. First, the point cloud of workpiece is obtained by the binocular structured light camera. After data preprocessing, this paper presents a novel approach of tangent planes determination based on the idea of point cloud slicing, which involves 3D projection and image binary extraction. Second, an approach for extracting the weld feature points is proposed based on the deviation term. By calculating the intersecting points between tangent planes and workpiece point cloud, this approach identifies the weld profile and extracts the feature points located in weld center. Then, to reduce the vibration in grinding, the feature points are polynomial fitted to generate a continuous weld grinding path, and a method of posture planning for grinding tool is presented based on grinding tool model and grinding process. Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are among the most promising photovoltaic technologies owing to their exceptional optoelectronic properties1,2. However, the lower efficiency, poor stability and reproducibility issues of large-area PSCs compared with laboratory-scale PSCs are notable drawbacks that hinder their commercialization3. Here we report a synergistic dopant-additive combination strategy using methylammonium chloride (MACl) as the dopant and a Lewis-basic ionic-liquid additive, 1,3-bis(cyanomethyl)imidazolium chloride ([Bcmim]Cl). This strategy effectively inhibits the degradation of the perovskite precursor solution (PPS), suppresses the aggregation of MACl and results in phase-homogeneous and stable perovskite films with high crystallinity and fewer defects. This approach enabled the fabrication of perovskite solar modules (PSMs) that achieved a certified efficiency of 23.30% and ultimately stabilized at 22.97% over a 27.22-cm2 aperture area, marking the highest certified PSM performance. Furthermore, the PSMs showed long-term operational stability, maintaining 94.66% of the initial efficiency after 1,000 h under continuous one-sun illumination at room temperature. The interaction between [Bcmim]Cl and MACl was extensively studied to unravel the mechanism leading to an enhancement of device properties. As the central control component in aerospace products, SRAM-based FPGA finds extensive application in space. In its operational context, the space radiation environment introduces single event effect (SEE) and space electrostatic discharge effect (SESD) in FPGAs. This paper investigates SEE and SESD in SRAM-based FPGA using an integrated simulation method that combines device-level and circuit-level analyses. The findings reveal that the distinction in signal transmission primarily lies in the number of upsets and their correlation with the initial state. SEE can lead to single-bit or multi-bit upsets in SRAM, while SESD typically induces multi-bit upsets (MBU) in SRAM. Furthermore, the logic upset caused by SEE exhibits almost no correlation with the initial state of SRAM. Conversely, the upset caused by SESD is linked to the initial state, and the threshold voltage of Single Event Upsets (SEU) in different initial states is not uniform. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Lithium ion (Li+) battery with conventional liquid electrolyte has typical and notorious security risk. Composite solid electrolyte integrating the merits of various electrolyte systems is an attractive alternative of liquid electrolyte for new-type safety and long-life lithium (Li) batteries. Herein, a 3D framework composite solid electrolyte based on Al2O3-modified Li1.4Al0.4Ti1.6(PO4)3 (Al2O3@LATP) was prepared by solution casting and scraping method. The 3D framework composite electrolyte exhibits admirable ionic conductivity (1.1 × 10−4 S cm−1 at 60 °C), wide voltage window (4.8 V vs. Li/Li+), good thermal stability, and satisfactory electrolyte/electrode interfacial compatibility. The Al2O3@LATP can not only impede Li dendrite growth, but also avoid the LATP reaction with Li anode. The assembled solid-state LiFePO4|Li battery with 3D framework composite solid electrolyte delivers a satisfactory capacity retention up to 95.2% after 400 cycles at 0.5 C and under 60 °C. The chemical transformations of methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) greenhouse gases typically have high energy barriers. Here we present an approach of strategic coupling of CH4 oxidation and CO2 reduction in a switched microbial process governed by redox cycling of iron minerals under temperate conditions. The presence of iron minerals leads to an obvious enhancement of carbon fixation, with the minerals acting as the electron acceptor for CH4 oxidation and the electron donor for CO2 reduction, facilitated by changes in the mineral structure. The electron flow between the two functionally active microbial consortia is tracked through electrochemistry, and the energy metabolism in these consortia is predicted at the genetic level. This study offers a promising strategy for the removal of CH4 and CO2 in the natural environment and proposes an engineering technique for the utilization of major greenhouse gases.The microbial valorisation of greenhouse gases could offer promising approaches climate change mitigation. Carbazole compounds are widely used in determining the direction of petroleum migration, but the effect of thermal maturity on carbazoles is still ambiguity. In this paper, using compaction pyrolysis simulation experiments, artificial mature samples with vitrinite reflectance (Ro) range from 0.38 to 3.0% were acquired. And the content and composition change characteristics of carbazole compounds were analyzed in coal source rocks. The experimental results showed that thermal maturity controls the generation of a large amount of carbazole compounds in coal rocks. Compared with the low mature stage, the content of carbazole compounds was about 10–100 times higher in the mature stage. With the increasing maturity, in the coal sample, the content of carbazole compounds showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing. In derivatives of carbazole, the corresponding maturity for the maximum generation of ethylcarbazole (EC), dimethylcarbazole (DMCA), methylcarbazole (MCA), carbazole (CA) and benzocarbazole (BCA) performed the increasing sequence. With the increasing maturity, the relative abundance of 2-MCA, 1,7-DMCA and benzo[a]carbazole increased with the increasing maturity, while 4-MCA, 1,4-DMCA and benzo[c]carbazole gradually decreased. Benzocarbazole ratio [a]/[a] +[ c] varies only in a narrow range 0.36–0.61 in the entire maturity range, suggesting limited maturity dependence.
