Phytoremediation, an ecological approach aimed at addressing polymetal(loid)lic-contaminated mining soils, has encountered adaptability challenges. Dominant plant species, well-suited to the local conditions, have emerged as promising candidates for this purpose. This study focused on assessing the phytoremediation potential of ten plant species that thrived in heavy metal(loid)-contaminated mining soils. This investigation covered nine heavy metal(loid)s (As, Cu, Cd, Cr, Hg, Ni, Pb, Sn, and Zn) in both plants and rhizosphere soils. The results revealed a significant impact of mining activities, with heavy metal(loid) concentrations surpassing the Yunnan Province's background levels by 1.06 to 362 times, highlighting a significant concern for remediation. The average levels of the heavy metal(loid)s followed the order of As (3.98 × 103 mg kg−1) > Cu (2.83 × 103 mg kg−1) > Zn (815 mg kg−1) > Sn (176 mg kg−1) > Pb (169 mg kg−1) > Cr (68.1 mg kg−1) > Ni (36.2 mg kg−1) > Cd (0.120 mg kg−1) > Hg (0.0390 mg kg−1). The bioconcentration factors (BCFs), bioaccumulation factors (BAFs), and translocation factors (TFs) varied among the native plants, indicating diverse adaptation strategies. Low BCFs and BAFs (ranging from 0.0183 to 0.418 and 0.0114 to 0.556, respectively) suggested a low bioavailability of heavy metal(loid)s. Among the species, both J. effusus and P. capitata showed remarkable abilities for As accumulation, while A. adenophora demonstrated a notable accumulation ability for various heavy metal(loid)s, especially Cd, with relatively high BCFs (1.88) and BAFs (3.11), and the TF at 1.66 further underscored the crucial role of translocation in preventing root toxicity. Indigenous plants growing in mining spoils for phytoremediation have attracted great interest. To search the suitable plants, six plant species popular in the mine slag heaps of Gejiu City were collected and metal concentrations in plants and rhizosphere soils were analyzed. Results showed that the soils were greatly influenced by mine activities and heavy metal contents in plants were dependent upon those in the rhizosphere soils. However, the adaptation strategies varied among them. Bothriochloa ischcemum (Linn.) Keng and Equisetum ramosissimum Desf. had the Cr bioaccumulation factor (BAF) of 1.48 and 1.34, respectively, even though the rhizosphere soils were not contaminated by Cr. However, B. ischaemum and Agave americana Linn. showed the BAF for Pb, Zn Cu and Sn < 1.0, and Cyperus rotundus Linn. showed the similarly low BAF for Zn and Cu. Therefore, the three species had a great tolerance to phytostabilize these metals. Gymnema sylvestre (Retz.) Schult showed the translocation factor (TF) > 1.0 for Pb, Cu and Sn, so translocating these metals to the aboveground parts would be a feasible option. Similarly, Euphorbia cyathophora Murr. demonstrated the high phytotranslocate capacity for Cd and Sn, so it could be employed to remedy Cd and Sn-contaminated soils. This study investigated the phytoremediation potential of six indigenous plants widely growing on mine slag heaps in Gejiu, Yunnan. Bothriochloa ischcemum (Linn.) Bothriochloa ischaemum and Agave americana Linn. showed a great capacity to phytostabilize Pb, Zn Cu and Sn. Gymnema sylvestre (Retz.) Schult demonstrated the phytotransfer capacity for Pb, Cu and Sn, and Euphorbia cyathophora Murr. demonstrated the high phytotranslocate capacity for Cd and Sn. To correctly simulate and predict the performance of fractured gas condensate reservoirs, based on the previous related studies, a new numerical dual porosity compositional simulation approach, suitable for fractured gas-condensate reservoirs, is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the proper pseudo-components should be correctly divided, and then single-matrix block models are built to establish the pseudo capillary pressure curve through comparing the single porosity model with the dual-porosity model. Based on the results, the dual-porosity compositional simulation method is studied. The study shows that dual-porosity compositional models can be used for fractured gas-condensate reservoirs without water drive, but not for reservoirs with strong water drive, whereas the model with pseudo capillary pressure curve can be correctly used for all kinds of fractured gas-condensate reservoirs. This new method was applied for a fractured gas-condensate reservoir of Tazhong No.1 gas field in the Tarim Basin, NW China, and the performance history of this field was well matched with the fitting error less than 5%. 摘要: ： 为了正确模拟裂缝型凝析气藏的开发动态，提出一种适合于裂缝型凝析气藏双重介质组分模型的数值模拟方法，即首先进行拟组分数的合理划分，然后建立单个岩块的单重介质精细模型和双重介质模型，调整双重介质模型的毛管力曲线拟合单重介质精细模型的计算结果，建立拟毛管力曲线，在此基础上开展双重介质组分数值模拟研究。研究表明，直接利用双重介质组分模型可以正确模拟裂缝型无水凝析气藏的生产动态；但对于裂缝型有水凝析气藏，模拟结果与实际生产动态偏差较大，而采用拟毛管力曲线后模型则可以获得正确的模拟结果。用该法对塔里木盆地塔中Ⅰ号气田某裂缝型凝析气藏的生产动态进行了模拟。结果表明，该方法可用于裂缝型凝析气藏的数值模拟，对实际气田开发动态拟合较好，指标拟合误差小于5%。图6表1参18 Key words: fractured, gas condensate reservoir, pseudo-component, pseudo-capillary pressure curve, numerical simulation

The research presented in this article focuses on expanding and deepening the prior research of a low‐cost terminal guidance system in a previous paper entitled "Design, implementation and verification of a low‐cost terminal guidance system for small fixed‐wing UAVs." An automatic terminal guidance workflow is specially designed for an individual in a small fixed‐wing unmanned aerial vehicle (SUAV) swarm. The extended work around the proposed workflow primarily involves upgrading onboard hardware modules to improve sensor accuracy and environmental adaptability, the imaging performance of the seeker, as well as the computational capability of the image processor, applying object detection to replace the human‐in‐the‐loop function and adopting the integral proportional guidance law in the vertical direction to reduce the required overload and obtain a larger impact angle. Furthermore, we conducted several field tests on two types of SUAV against a stationary target on the ground in a field scenario. The experiments have generated valuable onboard image data and SUAV status information, all of which are aligned in the time domain. The only remaining data sets that support the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author. Our study into automatic terminal guidance has yielded a solution of the automatic strap‐down monocular terminal guidance problem of individual SUAVs. The field trials of a single SUAV demonstrate the robustness and efficiency of the proposed automatic terminal guidance methodology and lays a foundation for the future SUAVs' cooperative attack test. Autophagy is a process which is highly conserved in eukaryotes to degrade or recycle cytoplasmic components through lysosomes to maintain cellular homeostasis. Recent studies have shown that autophagy also plays critical roles in cell apoptosis, inflammation, pathogen clearance, and so on under stressed conditions and thereby has been linked to a variety of human disorders. The skin is the largest organ of the body and serves as the first line of defense against environmental insult. Skin as a nutrient‐poor environment requires recycling of limited resources via the autophagy machinery to maintain homeostasis. Therefore, dysregulation of autophagy has been linked to skin diseases. In this review, we describe the molecular machinery and regulation of autophagy, discuss its role in keratinocytes and skin barrier, skin immune cells, and immune‐related skin diseases including autoimmune skin disorders, allergic skin diseases, infectious skin disorders, and antitumor immunity against skin tumor. Finally, we highlight the potential of autophagy as a therapeutic target for immune‐related skin diseases, and delivery of autophagy‐related molecules (such as inducers, inhibitors, or nucleic acid molecules) by virtue of physical materials (such as nanoparticles) or biological materials (such as peptides) to skin topically may obtain clinical benefits in immune‐related skin diseases. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are considered potential biomarkers in the pathogenesis and detection of several types of cancer. The present study aimed to investigate the role of hsa_circ_0000129 in the pathogenesis and molecular mechanism underlying breast cancer. A total of 68 pairs of breast cancer and corresponding paracancerous tissue samples, three different breast cancer cell lines (MCF-7, MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468) and a normal human breast cell line (MCF-10A) were used to investigate the expression of hsa_circ_0000129. The effect of hsa_circ_0000129 on cell proliferation, migration and colony formation was assessed in MCF-7 and MDA-MB-468 cells, along with the expression of enhancer of zeste homolog 2 (EZH2). The results demonstrated that hsa_circ_0000129 expression was significantly higher in breast cancer tissues compared with normal tissues. In addition, high hsa_circ_0000129 expression was significantly associated with lymph node metastasis and a higher tumor-node-metastasis stage. Comparisons between the breast cancer cell lines (MCF-7, MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468) and MCF-10A cells indicated similar results. MCF-7 cells overexpressed with hsa_circ_0000129 significantly increased cell proliferation, migration and colony formation compared with the negative control group, the effects of which were reversed following hsa_circ_0000129 knockdown in MDA-MB-468 cells. Furthermore, EZH2 expression was positively associated with hsa_circ_0000129 expression. Taken together, the results of the present study suggest that hsa_circ_0000129 may represent a promising prognostic biomarker for breast cancer. In addition, the role of hsa_circ_0000129 in breast cancer cell lines indicates a mechanism for tumorigenesis, as well as a potent target for the treatment of malignant progression. After the application of sludge derived biochar (SDBC) for soil stabilization, it is subjected to continuous leaching that may change its surface properties and metal(loid) immobilization performance. This study simulated the continuous leaching through the fresh SDBC sample in columns with unsaturated and saturated zones under flushing with 0.01 M NaNO 3 solution (pH 5.5) and acidic solution (pH adjusted to 3.2 by HNO 3 :H 2 SO 4 = 1:2), respectively. The resultant changes were assessed in terms of the SDBC surface characteristics and metal(loid) sorption capacities. Continuous leaching was found to gradually decrease the density of basic functional groups and increase the density of carboxyl groups as well as cation exchange capacity on the SDBC surface. It was attributed to the surface acidification and oxidation process by the leaching process, yet it occurred to a lesser extent than the atmospheric exposure. Continuous leaching increased Pb(II), Cr(VI), and As(III) sorption capacity of the SDBC, probably because the increase in carboxyl groups promoted inner-sphere complexation and Fe oxidation as revealed by spectroscopic analysis. It was noteworthy that the SDBC in the unsaturated and saturated zones under continuous leaching displayed distinctive effects on metal(loid) sorption capacity than the atmospheric exposure. Future investigations are needed for understanding the fate and interactions of the SDBC under varying redox conditions and intermittent leaching process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Pancreatic cancer is one of the most lethal malignancies and the fourth leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, because of its aggressive and highly metastatic ability even in its early stages. Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) have been reported to be vital to pancreatic cancer progression via regulating tumorigenesis and metastasis. Studies have shown that CAFs also mediate epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in tumor cells. Curcumin has recently been reported to have anticancer effects by modulating pathways involved in cancer progression. Therefore, we hypothesized that curcumin might inhibit EMT by targeting CAFs in pancreatic cancer. In this study, we show that the CAF-mediated enhancement of pancreatic cancer cell migration and metastasis was blocked by curcumin. In conclusion, our data provide the first evidence that curcumin inhibits the migration and metastasis of pancreatic cancer cells by reducing the mesenchymal characteristics of CAFs, which reverses the EMT phenotypes of pancreatic cancer cells.
