Two concepts—one of Darbo-type theorem and the other of Banach sequence spaces—play a very important and active role in ongoing research on existence problems. We first demonstrate the generalized Darbo-type fixed point theorems involving the concept of continuous functions. Keeping one of these theorems into our account, we study the existence of solutions of system of nonlinear integral equations in the setting of tempered sequence space. The wonder fruit pomegranate (Punica granatum , family Lythraceae) is one of India's economically important fruit crops that can grow in different agro-climatic conditions ranging from tropical to temperate regions. This study reports high-quality de novo draft hybrid genome assembly of diploid Punica cultivar "Bhagwa" and identifies its genomic features. This cultivar is most common among the farmers due to its high sustainability, glossy red color, soft seed, and nutraceutical properties with high market value. The draft genome assembly is about 361.76 Mb (N50 = 40 Mb), ∼9.0 Mb more than the genome size estimated by flow cytometry. The genome is 90.9% complete, and only 26.68% of the genome is occupied by transposable elements and has a relative abundance of 369.93 SSRs/Mb of the genome. A total of 30,803 proteins and their putative functions were predicted. Comparative whole-genome analysis revealed Eucalyptus grandis as the nearest neighbor. KEGG-KASS annotations indicated an abundance of genes involved in the biosynthesis of flavonoids, phenylpropanoids, and secondary metabolites, which are responsible for various medicinal properties of pomegranate, including anticancer, antihyperglycemic, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory activities. The genome and gene annotations provide new insights into the pharmacological properties of the secondary metabolites synthesized in pomegranate. They will also serve as a valuable resource in mining biosynthetic pathways for key metabolites, novel genes, and variations associated with disease resistance, which can facilitate the breeding of new varieties with high yield and superior quality. Porokeratosis is a keratinization disorder with unclear etiopathogenesis, varied clinical presentation and characteristic histopathology, and is usually unresponsive to current therapeutic options. Until now, it was considered to be a clonal disorder with immunity, ultra violet radiation and other factors playing important roles in etiopathogenesis. It is now known that abnormalities in the mevalonate pathway are responsible for this clonal keratinization abnormality. New variants of porokeratosis like eruptive bullous, pruriginous, lichen planus like, follicular variants and porokeratoma have been described. While the cornoid lamella is the classical histopathologic feature, dermoscopy and reflectance confocal microscopy make the diagnosis clearer. Development of malignancy in a few variants is a concern. Linear, disseminated superficial actinic and giant lesions are most prone to developing malignancies. Bowen's disease, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma and even melanoma have been reported in cases of long-standing porokeratosis. Newer modalities of therapy such as photodynamic therapy, ingenol mebutate and HMGCoA inhibitors may play a role in the future. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, we discuss solvability of infinite system of fractional integral equations (FIE) of mixed type. To achieve this goal, we first use shifting distance function to establish a new generalization of Darbo's fixed point theorem, and then apply it to the FIEs to establish the existence of solution on tempered sequence space. Background: With the COVID-19 vaccination taking stride all across the globe, there are multiple reports of vaccine-induced adverse reactions (cutaneous and systemic). Objectives: To study the frequency and characteristics of mucocutaneous reactions to COVID-19 vaccines. Methods: An online questionnaire-based study was performed among the recipients of COVID-19 vaccines Results: Majority (73.6%) of the responders had received the Covishield vaccine (AstraZeneca-Oxford), while 26.4% had been vaccinated with Covaxin (Bharat Biotech-ICMR). One or more post-vaccination mucocutaneous effects were experienced in 87 (19.6%) participants. Vaccine-associated mucocutaneous changes were observed in 19.7% and 22.2% of individuals who received Covishield and Covaxin, respectively. Local injection site reaction was the predominant mucocutaneous finding, followed by urticarial rash, exacerbation of preexisting dermatoses, morbilliform rash, apthous ulcers, pityriasis rosea like eruption, telogen effluvium, herpes zoster, purpuric rash, erythema multiforme and others. Anaphylaxis was reported in three individuals. However, fatality was not reported in any of the vaccine recipients. Intergroup assessment of parameters with respect to type of vaccine was found to be insignificant. Conclusion: Majority reported mild and self-limiting reactions. Synthetic fertilizer and herbicides encompass the largest share in nutrient and weed management on food grain crops that create serious environmental issues. Integrated nutrient and non-chemical weed management approaches may help to reduce the chemical load in the environment, maintaining higher weed control efficiency and yield. A field experiment was conducted for two consecutive monsoon seasons during 2015 and 2016 in farm fields to develop a profitable and sustainable rice production system through integrated nutrient and weed management practices. A varied combination of nutrients either alone or integrated with chemical and non-chemical weed management were tested on transplanted rice in a factorial randomized block design with three replications. The results showed that the integration of concentrated organic manures with chemical fertilizer effectively inhibited weed growth and nutrient removal. Integration of nutrient and weed management practices significantly enhanced 9% biomass growth, 10% yield of the rice crop along with 3–7% higher nutrient uptake. Brassicaceous seed meal (BSM) and neem cake also had some influence on weed suppression and economic return. Thus, the integrated nutrient and weed management practices in rice cultivation might be an effective way to achieve economic sustainability and efficient rice cultivation in eastern India. Photodegradation (photolysis) causes the breakdown of organic pesticides molecules by direct or indirect solar radiation energy. Flucetosulfuron herbicide often encounters water bodies. For this reason, it is important to know the behavior of the compound under these stressed conditions. In this context, photodegradation of flucetosulfuron, a sulfonylurea-based herbicide, has been assessed in aqueous media in the presence of photocatalyst TiO2 and photosensitizers (i.e., H2O2, humic acid, and KNO3) under the influence of ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. The influence of different water systems was also assessed during the photodegradation study. The photodegradation followed the first-order reaction kinetics in each case. The metabolites after photolysis were isolated in pure form by column chromatographic method and characterized using the different spectral data (i.e., XRD, IR, NMR, UV-VIS, and mass spectrometry). The structures of these metabolites were identified based on the spectral data and the plausible photodegradation pathways of flucetosulfuron were suggested. Based on the findings, photocatalyst TiO2 with the presence of ultraviolet irradiation was found effective for the photodegradation of toxic flucetosulfuron residues under aqueous conditions. Mentoring albeit is a recently described and popular phenomenon in medicine, is not a new one. All medical specialties have a complex, intertwined relationship between their physicians and trainees who are in different stages of their careers. How a specialty evolves depends on the thread woven by these relationships. This article outlines the concept of mentorship and introduces its various aspects in dermatology. This article attempts to answer what, why, how, when, and where related to mentoring in dermatology, including e-mentorship. Objectives: It is currently unclear whether SARS-CoV-2 Cycle threshold (Ct) values could be leveraged to guide patients' clinical manifestations and management decisions. The present study was undertaken to observe whether RT-PCR Ct values differ in COVID-19 symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals. This study also describes the clinical manifestations and epidemiological characteristics of both groups of patients. Methods: Nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal swabs of 35,391 clinically suspected COVID-19 patients were collected in VTM and tested in our dedicated COVID-19 diagnostic laboratory for SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR test. Cycle threshold at day 1 of positive detection was correlated with the presence or absence of the patient's symptoms. The Ct values were studied sequentially in the collected samples to understand the variation of Ct values with the patient's first day of diagnosis up to the recovery day. Results: Of 35,391 samples received for RT-PCR, data from 589 COVID-19 diagnosed patients (positivity 1.66%) was analyzed further. Among 589 patients, a total of 178 patients were symptomatic, while 411 were asymptomatic. Ct values obtained in symptomatic individuals (19.26±4.34) were significantly lower than in the asymptomatic (25.96±4.64) individuals (p<0.01). For 38 SARS-CoV-2 positive patients, data from sequential samples submitted to the laboratory was also analyzed. After adjusting for age, gender, co-morbidities, increased cycle threshold was associated with decreased odds of symptoms and in-hospital admission (0.91, CI 0.89-0.94, p<0.001). Conclusion: Clinical symptoms and laboratory results of RT-PCR (Ct Value) of symptomatic patients with COVID-19 are significantly lower than those without symptoms. Analyzing data from 38 SARSCoV-2 positive patients' sequential samples again demonstrated that symptoms correlate with lower Ct values; however, virus clearance took almost the same time in the two groups of individuals.
