To solve the problem of passenger travel cost and full load rate balance before and after the implementation of cross-line operation in the peak period of urban rail transit (URT) passenger flow. This paper introduces the concept of section full load rate balance. According to the division of different types of passenger flow in the intersection mode of "X" and "Y" lines, based on the characteristics of passenger flow in peak passenger flow period, a mathematical model with cross-line operation mode turn-back station and operation frequency of train as decision variables is constructed to minimize passenger travel cost, full load rate balance objective function and enterprise operation cost. Taking the Changping Line and Line 8 in the Beijing URT system as examples, the validity of the model is verified. The results show that the operation mode of the cross-line train can alleviate the passenger flow pressure of the transfer station, reduce the overload of the original train on the line, improve the full load rate balance of the train, make the utilization of the transport capacity more balanced, and optimize the passenger ride experience. This paper introduces an multi-compartment open vehicle routing problem with time window (MCOVRPTW) arising in fresh products distribution, which doesn't require the finished service vehicles return to the distribution center. There are three types of fresh products to be delivered by the multi-compartment vehicles, and the objective aims to find the vehicles scheduling scheme with the lowest cost. For this problem, we established a mathematical model in which the capacity constraint of each compartment and time window constraint must be satisfied. Then, we proposed a hybrid genetic algorithm with some local search-based operators, called GA-LS, to solve it. Each individual in initial population was generated by the nearest neighborhood method to obtain highquality initial population. When a child population was built, the local search procedure was executed on each individual in the child population to enhance its quality. Finally, we carried out some experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. According to the results, the proposed algorithm can yield better solutions compared with existing approaches. Meanwhile, the proposed algorithm reveals good stability and convergence. This article demonstrates techniques to solve the linear fractional programming (LFP) problem using an interval approach. This approach addresses uncertainties as intervals and employs interval arithmetic for robustness. In this paper, a reasonable attempt is made to construct a mathematical model of interval linear fractional programming, and various approaches were employed to solve it. The proposed process emphasizes solving the ILFP problem in different optimization techniques and uses interval arithmetic to obtain a better range of intervals. The study illustrates the practical aspects of this approach and its effectiveness in solving real-world situations when uncertainties are significant. A generalized autoregressive (GNAR) model fusing both linearity and nonlinearity is proposed to solve the complex nonlinear time series modeling problem. First, the mathematical model of the GNAR model is established while the mathematical mechanism and physical meaning of the GNAR model are both expounded from the two aspects of Weierstrass theory and Volterra theory. Then, an improved least squares parameter estimation method, namely robust Residuals Adjusted Least Squares (RALS) method, is introduced and its process is successionally proposed to improve the anti-outlier performance of the GNAR model. Next, the mathematical model of the computational complexity for the GNAR model is established and the complexity model is introduced into the AIC to propose an improved AIC (iAIC). Finally, a dataset containing 23 records is established and experiments are carried out. The results show that the GNAR model with RALS estimator has high fitting accuracy. The Mean Square Error (MSE) of the series predicted by the GNAR model with Least Squares (LS) estimator is 325.3% higher than that of the series predicted by the GNAR model with RALS estimator at most. The effectiveness of order determination method reaches 82.61%. The aim of this research paper is to study the global existence of weak solution of magneto elastic interactions, which is modeled by a three-dimensional mathematical framework. A fractional generalization of the harmonic map heat flow is coupled to an evolution equation for displacement to characterize the model. Breast cancer is a prevalent and potentially lifethreatening disease that requires comprehensive treatment strategies to improve patient outcomes. Cardiotoxicity poses a significant challenge in breast cancer treatment, as it can lead to severe cardiac complications during or after chemotherapy. In this paper, the study presents a stochastic model for estimating breast cancer treatment costs, considering the risk and cost associated with cardiotoxicity. The findings reveal that an increased number of new patients and a higher chance of breast cancer patients experiencing cardiotoxicity increase the total cost of treating all breast cancer patients. One of the variants of Vehicle Routing Problems (VRP) is the Vehicle Routing Problems with Time Windows and Split Delivery (VRPTWSD) considered by this paper in which, deliveries of customers' demands are allowed to be split between two or among many vehicles within a time frame. Obtaining an optimal solution for the total distance travelled whenever split is involved has been a major challenge. This paper formulated mathematical model for VRPTWSD aiming at minimizing the distribution cost or travel cost. Since this problem is NPhard, researchers have developed variants Genetic Algorithms (GA) in solving this class of problem improving on preceding algorithms. This paper discusses modifications carried out on the Reproduction, Crossover and Mutation operators used in Genetic Algorithm which are applied in that order to the current population with a view to solving VRPTWSD. The Modified Genetic Algorithm (MGA) so formed is applied to various sizes of Solomon benchmark problems. The computational results presented show that out of the 56 instances considered, 53 instances were improved upon when compared with best known solutions based on the total distance travelled, average total distance and average number of vehicles. Also, it observes that, with the split deliveries, the total distribution cost tends to decrease. How to shorten the PEMFC development cycle is one of the key concerns of the PEMFC industry at present. Among them, developing a high-precision and high-efficiency PEMFC performance analysis platform is an important method to accelerate the PEMFC development progress. In this paper, from the PEMFC reaction mechanism and engineering development experience, we firstly analyze the mechanism and mathematical modeling of PEMFC reactor, and establish the voltage sub-model, cathode runner sub-model, anode runner sub-model and membrane hydration sub-model. Then, the performance analysis of the core components of the cathode system, such as air compressor, intercooler, humidifier and backpressure valve, was carried out, and a sub-model of each component was established. Further, the mathematical model of the anode system including the hydrogen circulation pump and the pressure regulating valve is studied and established. In addition, the core components of radiator, cooling water pump and thermostat are analyzed mechanically, and the PEMFC hydrothermal management system model is established. Finally, the established PEMFC model was experimentally verified. The results show that the constructed mathematical model for PEMFC performance analysis can accurately simulate the PEMFC working process and output reasonable numerical results with the error within 5%. In the application field of fresh products distribution, it is necessary to use multi-compartment vehicles for distribution because of their particular demands for temperature. This paper studied the multi-compartment vehicle routing problem with soft time windows for multiple fresh products distribution. Firstly, a mathematical model of the issued problem was built, which aims to minimize the total cost including vehicle cost, delivery cost, refrigeration cost, damage cost and penalty cost of delivery time. Then, we presented an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve this problem. In the process of particle updating, the sequential crossover operator usually used in genetic algorithm was introduced to enhance the diversity of particles. Finally, the proposed algorithm was evaluated on some benchmark instances, and the experiment results demonstrate its effectiveness and good stability, when compared with genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm. In this paper, a direct current (DC) motor speed control system with proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller and Kalman filter is presented with consideration of disturbance, system variation, and feedback sensor noise and verified through computer simulations. Initially, a mathematical model for a DC motor system is introduced, after which the performance degradation due to disturbance and system variation in the basic open-loop control is revealed. To resolve this problem, a PID controller based feedback system is designed for the DC motor speed control system. Third, to improve the performance degradation due to feedback sensor noise that may occur during the feedback process, the Kalman filter is applied for the DC motor speed control system. Ultimately, it is verified that the designed DC motor speed control system with PID controller and Kalman filter not only satisfies all performance criteria but also has the ability to reject disturbance, cope with system variation and reduce feedback sensor noise. The paper is devoted to theory of classical Young measures and associated with them Young functionals i.e. certain mappings that assign to any Carathodory function an integral with respect to related Young measure. The main result provides us with probabilistic characterization of such measures in the case where associated sequence of fast oscillating functions has uniform representation - a notion introduced in this paper. In many interesting cases this new characterization enables one to find an explicit formulae for the density functions of the Young measures and thus also to compute effectively the values of corresponding Young functionals. In other cases, where the explicit formulae for the densities cannot be received, the main result makes it possible to take advantage of Monte Carlo methods to evaluate the Young functional's values. Specific heat is a property of foods materials needed for analysis and design processes involving heat transfer. The specific heat of edible-wild mushrooms as affected by moisture content, temperature and mushroom variety was investigated in this paper. The ranges of moisture content and temperature studied in this paper were 0.05-0.80 kg water/kg sample and 10-90°C. The significant of the studying factors was analyzed and the regression analysis was then performed to determine the best model for predicting specific heat. The statistical analysis and software were performed and used for the judgment of the degree of accuracy of the fitted models. A linear function of specific heat with moisture content and temperature was proposed and model efficiency was evaluated statistically. The obtained model obviously outperformed the other conventional models and was found to be successful in much better specific heat prediction of mushroom varieties which will be very useful in practical use of mushrooms in industry. Several objects in scientific research and engineering applications present fractional-order time-varying characteristics. When developing mathematical models of considering fractional-order time-varying, the dynamic analysis results are often inconsistent with the actual statistical data due to inaccurate description of the analysis model. To solve this problem, the present paper proposes a discrete grey model of fractional-order quadratic time-varying parameters based on grey fractional-order characteristics and integral theory. By taking the minimum mean relative error and the minimum mean square error as the objective function, two optimization models, namely FQDGM-I and FQDGM-II, are constructed to perform parameter estimation. A comparative analysis based on examples shows that the background value reconstructed using the proposed model is more accurate. The fitting accuracy is greatly improved compared to those obtained using previous models. Recently, many deterministic mathematical model have been extended to fractional model, using some fractional differential equation. Numerous studies had shown that these fractional models are more realistic to represent the daily life phenomena. This paper focused on extending the model of a SIR epidemic to fractional model. More specifically, the study discussed the fractional SIR epidemic model with sub-optimal immunity, nonlinear incidence and saturated recovery rate. The fractional ordinary differential equations were defined in the sense of the Caputo derivative. Stability analysis of the equilibrium points of the models for the fractional models were presented. Furthermore, we investigated the Hopf bifurcation analysis. The result obtained showed that the model undergo Hopf bifurcation for some values, and further confirmed that choosing an appropriate figure of the fractional α ∈ (0; 1] increase the stability region of the equilibrium points. During the launch process of an electromagnetic shell, all parts of the steering system need to bear the impact of the high-intensity instantaneous acceleration and real-time change of the system operation parameters. These problems affect the dynamic characteristics of an actuator system against overload and accurate position tracking. In this study, the dynamic mathematical model of a digital steering gear servo control system is established. A segmented error PID control method is proposed to analyze the dynamic characteristics of the actuator. The results help verify the accuracy of segmented error PID control method for analyzing the dynamic characteristics of the system. Subsequently, an electric actuator test system is designed and the step response and frequency characteristics of the actuator system are tested. Based on the experiment/least square method, the transfer function of the servo system is identified and compared with that of the simulation model; further, the accuracy of the identified transfer function is verified. At present there are many existing methods to obtain the safety factor of slope, although the most used, due to its simplicity, are the Bishop’s simplified method, the Spencer’s method and the Morgenstern and Price procedure among others. However, the search for a method that facilitates even more the calculations has given rise to an endless number of new procedures. In this paper, a mathematical model of a bipedal robot with six degrees of freedom (6 DoF) is presented and tested for some control strategies. For simplicity, one of the extremities is modeled, and it is assumed that the second one is similar. Some widely used tools, like Denavit-Hattender parametrization and Euler-Lagrange approaches, are applied to obtain the movement equations. A set of control laws are designed, applied to the system model, and compared among them. The study is carried out to evaluate deviation errors in the extremities, the proposed bipedal model’s performance, and control strategies. The controllers’ performances are evaluated in terms of the deviation errors, which are computed as the root mean square (RMS) of differences between desired and actual extremity-joint positions. By means of Mawhin’s continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, some new and simple sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of at least one positive almost periodic solution for a class of delayed Lasota-Wazewska model with nonnegative coefficients. Further, by some important inequalities and Lyapunov functional, the permanence and global asymptotical stability of the model have been studied. This paper has focused on the development of a Low-Cost Fuzzy Gain Schedule Neutralization Control System. The system dynamics has been identified for different operational conditions and the empirical models parameters were calculated. The implementation and instrumentation of a typical Neutralization System using low cost elements, with an appropriate monitoring, control and data acquisition of the process variables has been successfully implemented, as well as the Fuzzy Gain Schedule pH neutralization controller. As inputs it has been used the Auxiliary Variable, defined with the linguist terms as Acid, Neutral and Alkaline by three trapezoidal membership functions, as well as the control error and the change in the control error, both defined by five triangular membership functions. The controller outputs were defined for the Acid and Alkali pumps by 18 triangular membership functions and it was defined a set of 50 fuzzy rules. The development of the control system considered in this paper reveals an attractive industrial application perspective, representing a potential application for water consumption reduction in industry, based on low cost elements. Extending the results of a previous paper on the relationship between fish consumption and coronary heart disease, an optimal control approach is proposed in the present paper. The Pontryagin's minimum principle is used to characterize the optimal control, to minimize the population of susceptible individuals and also to reduce the mortality rate of coronary heart disease. A numerical simulation is carried out to show the impact of the proposed optimal control. In this paper, a neutral multi-species logarithmic population model is investigated. By applying the matrix's spectral theory which is different from the methods employed in the literature, a set of sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence and uniqueness of almost periodic solution of the neutral multi-species logarithmic population model. The obtained sufficient conditions are given in terms of spectral radius of explicit matrices which are much different from those by the algebraic inequalities. This paper is concerned with the factorization approach to control systems. It is known all models do not have both right- and left-coprime factorizations. In this paper, we consider the models in which some plants admit and in which some plants do not admit coprime factorization. In the case where the plants admits only one-side coprime factorization, it is known that the plant with additional zeros admits both side coprime factorizations. However we show that in the case where the plant do not admit coprime factorization, there exists a case where the plant with any finite additional zeros cannot admit coprime factorization. We will also consider the parallel plants, in which one of them is plant to be stabilized. Any stabilizable plants has some parallel plants that admit both side coprime factorizations. Since sensitive information is often included among the company's data, safeguarding this sensitive data has always been a challenging requirement for many organizations. Therefore, the proposed Dynamic Data Sensitivity Access Control (D2SAC) framework in [1] focuses on protecting sensitive data in Hadoop Platform. To continue improving our framework, in this paper, we concentrate on the Sensitivity Estimator Module (SEM) which is responsible for calculating the data sensitivity value. For this reason, we propose a mathematical model based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in order to derive the priority vector of data attributes then the empirical average is used to calculate the final data sensitivity value a way to provide an automated calculation of sensitivity without any intervention of the Data Owner. In this paper, we consider a kind of delayed Schoener's competition model with harvesting terms and impulsive effects. By means of Mawhin's continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, some sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of at least four positive almost periodic solutions for the above model. Further, by using the comparison theorem and constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, the global asymptotic stability of the model is also investigated. An operator's mistakes are frequently attributed to inexperience, which leads to a superficial management of these kinds of 'accidental' errors. The weakness of this traditional approach is that it isolates the wrong actions from the general systematic context, overlooking potential learning from error analysis. In this paper, we contemplate a comparison of results between constant and variable fluid properties while considering magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) flow and heat transfer for steady, two dimensional and laminar viscous fluid over a nonlinearly stretching sheet. The governing mathematical model for the underlying problem is drafted in its most general setup, i.e. we consider the the representative partial differential equations(PDEs) for viscous compressible fluid. Similarity transformation is exercised to transform governing nonlinear PDEs into a nonlinear ODEs. The set of two coupled ODEs are solved numerically by shooting technique and bvp4c (builtin MATLAB solver). Besides, we also present and execute a new numerical method for solving coupled nonlinear ODEs, the Simplified Finite Difference Method (SFDM). When comparing with bvp4c and shooting technique, the efficiency of SFDM for the above system has also been shown. Various governing parameters and their effect on temperature and velocity profiles are studied in detail. We have shown that there is a significant difference of results when its comparison is drawn between for constant and varying fluid properties. Skin friction coefficient shows increment in its values while rate of heat transfer shows decrement for variable viscosity when compared with constant viscosity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The model of interaction between PIP3, AKT, and FOXO3a in the PI3K/AKT signaling pathways in Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) is described and analyzed in this paper. We assume that the biochemical reaction in this pathway follows Hill's equation and consider the case that the mechanism of protein dephosphorylation does not work properly. Then, we analyze the model using the stability theory of differential equations to determine the parameters that play an important role in AML disease. Firstly, we discuss the existence of steady states and their stability. Furthermore, numerical simulations are given to support the analytical results of the model. Sensitivity index is also analyzed to identify parameters which have a significant influence on AML disease and should be targeted by intervention strategies. Recently, an ancient slime mold, Physarum polycephalum, has been proved being capable of finding shortest path in physical maze environment, which inspires researchers to extract the core foraging mechanism -- positive feedback -- to simulate or model such intelligent behavior. Among most wellknown mathematical models developed so far, physarum solver, has been adopted and extended to solve a plethora of optimization problems in different fields, including computer science, operations research and transportation etc. In this paper, we first adopt and apply a variant of modified physarum solver, called iterative physarum model, to solve bipartite matching problem. Specifically, the maximum bipartite matching problem is first equivalently transformed to single-source single-sink maximum flow problem. Then the iterative physarum model is used to solve the maximum flow problem adaptively. As iterative physarum solver does not involve solving the systems of linear equations associated with global network flow balance constraints, time complexity of updating node status for one iteration can be reduced from O(n3) to O(m), where n and m are numbers of nodes and edges in the graph, respectively. The novelty of this paper is how we quickly and accurately choose the true copula if we know the true copula exists and is one from a given copula families. Goodness-of-fit test approaches are the most popular procedure to select the best copula for a particular data set. However, the goodness- of-fit tests just check whether a parametric copula is rejected or is not rejected for a specific data. This paper investigates the feasibility of using Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) to choose a copula model from a series of candidate copula models. If the true copula is among the candidate families, the copula with the least AIC should be the true one; otherwise, the copula with the least AIC will be the best one. In this paper, we propose a novel probabilistic approach for detecting and analyzing stationary objects driven visual events in video surveillance systems. This approach is based on a newly developed background modeling technique and an adaptive statistical sequential analysis method. For background modeling part, we use the concepts of periodic Markov chain theory producing a new background subtraction method in computer vision systems. We then develop an object classification algorithm which can not only classify the objects as stationary or dynamic but also eliminate the unnecessary examination tasks of the entire background regions. Finally, this paper introduces a sequential analysis model based on exponent running average measure to analyze object involved events such as whether it is either abandoned or very still person. In order to confirm our proposed method we present some experimental results tested on our own video sequences taken in international airports and some public areas in a big city. ECATNets are a category of algebraic Petri nets. The main feature of ECATNets is, their sound and complete semantics are based on rewriting logic. In this paper, we study the application of reduction rules to ECATNets in order to cope with state explosion problem. We adopted a reduction rule defined for algebraic Petri nets by K. Schmidt in 1997. The integration of ECATNets in the rewriting logic and its language Maude is very promising in terms of implementation of this reduction rule thanks to the concept of the reflectivity of rewriting logic: the self-interpretation of this logic allows us the modeling of an ECATNet and acting on it. We used Maude system to implement and execute such reduction rule adapted for ECATNets. We show how the representation of ECATNets in Maude, helps us to simplify the development by disregarding several details. Maude offers many functions to deal with the meta-level which makes our implementation easy. The severity of such attacks will be fuelled by the development of heterogeneous devices which have several wireless interfaces, as multi-homed devices will be able to send multiple connection requests to the service and thus launch attacks over different access networks. This paper details a new model to address the problem of Denial of Service attacks against the current Internet which limit the accessibility of a server based on its operational scope such that the solution will work effectively in heterogeneous, multi-homed environments. However, Denial of service attacks target the system resources and degrade their performance thus, affecting the Quality of Service's delivery to the subscribed users. Therefore, the proposed model suggests dealing with security and QoS in an integrated manner by using the concept of Quality of Security Service where security is considered as a Quality of Service' parameter. This paper furthermore shows how security can be integrated into the infrastructure of future network systems. However, in order to implement the proposed model, it is necessary to enhance current networking infrastructure by extending current services such as the Domain Naming Service and evolving new services such as a Master Locator to support user mobility.
