The transplanted firm is an important force to promote the network evolution and cluster transformation and upgrading of the undertaking firm. From the micro-analytic perspective of firm network, this paper puts forward a theoretical framework with "relationship-network-evolution" as the main line. Taking the refrigeration industry cluster in Minquan County of China as a case study and keeping the firm networks of economic relation, technical cooperation, and social communication firm network in 2009, 2013, and 2017 as the research objects, this paper analyzes the structure and evolution characteristics of regional firm network system, proposes the degree and effect of the local embeddedness of transplanted firms, and discusses their differences between international and interregional transplanted firms. The results revealed that: (1) the local embeddedness of transplanted firms significantly promotes the development of refrigeration industry network. (2) The network power of large-scale transplanted firms in the cluster is increasing day by day, and the network presents a multi-core trend. (3) The local embeddedness of some transplanted firms is not high, and the overall connectivity of the network is not strong. (4) Network intermediary nodes have strong heterogeneity, and the intermediary role of some large transplanted firms in the network needs to be improved. (5) The three network systems have similar structural characteristics, and social capital plays an important role in the local embeddedness of transplanted firms and the development of regional firm network. (6) Compared with international transplanted firms, interregional transplanted firms are more adaptable in terms of local embeddedness. In this paper, we use the panel data of 281 cities in China from 2005 to 2020 for capturing the factors driving urban inclusive growth (IG). In doing this, we employ the BP neural network algorithm combined with the DEA model to measure the urban inclusive growth efficiency (IGE). Furthermore, a nest of machine learning (ML) algorithms are introduced to explore the drivers of urban IGE, which overcomes the defects of endogeneity and multicollinearity of traditional econometric methods. We find for the overall sample that entrepreneurship and innovation contribute the most to IGE, accounting for about 35%, respectively, and they are the most critical drivers, while the heterogeneity test results reveal that the contribution of influencing factors has changed for different regions such as the eastern region, the central region, and the western region. In order to control the risks of Chinese enterprises in infrastructure investment in developing countries, the corresponding evaluation system is constructed through a structural equation model algorithm to analyze these risks, so as to achieve risk prediction and risk controllability. Structural equation modeling is a method to establish, estimate, and test causality. It can replace multiple regression, path analysis, factor analysis, covariance analysis, and other methods and clearly analyze the effect of individual indicators on the population and the interrelationship between individual indicators. It is a multivariate statistical modeling technology mainly applied to confirmatory model analysis. Due to the guidance of national policies, there are more and more opportunities for Chinese enterprises to invest abroad. However, due to the influence of political, economic, and environmental factors, overseas investment is facing many difficulties. This paper analyzes the risks from four aspects: bilateral policy risk, legal difference and litigation risk, international economic risk, and technical risk through structural equation model algorithm. Aiming at these risks, the simulation software of the algorithm is constructed in MATLAB big data analysis software, and the risk control measures are put forward. Finally, with the support of China's policies, in order to ensure the investment income, we should carry out risk intervention for the foreseeable risk and reduce the impact of risk on the investment income as much as possible, so as to improve the risk prevention and management awareness of overseas investment business. By analyzing the characteristics of venture capital and the various kinds of risks affecting venture capital, the risk structure model estimation of risk sneak attack is established by using the principle of structural equation model, and the impact of various risks on investment risks can be analyzed, so that the risk measurement and control of venture capital provides the basis of theoretical knowledge. Previous studies have shown that pathwise outward foreign direct investment can promote the long-term economic growth of developed economies and some developing countries with sufficient technology, human capital, and financial efficiency. However, the contribution of inverse outward foreign direct investment from developing countries, especially China, on the economic growth of developed economies has not yet been demonstrated. Based on the endogenous growth theory, this article uses panel data of China's inverse outward foreign direct investment and economic growth indicators of 26 Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development countries from 2003 to 2017 to empirically study the contribution of China's inverse outward foreign direct investment to the economic growth of developed economies and its mechanism, and furthermore to study the mediation effect of research and development capital and technological advances in the contribution. The empirical results show that China's inverse outward foreign direct investment has a significant contribution to the economic growth of developed host countries, with a contribution rate of 3.01%. The contribution rate of the mediating effect is 24.3% when only considering technological advances and 54.34% when considering the multiple mediators of research and development capital and technological advances. Among primary bone cancers, osteosarcoma is the most common, peaking between the ages of a child's rapid bone growth and adolescence. The diagnosis of osteosarcoma requires observing the radiological appearance of the infected bones. A common approach is MRI, but the manual diagnosis of MRI images is prone to observer bias and inaccuracy and is rather time consuming. The MRI images of osteosarcoma contain semantic messages in several different resolutions, which are often ignored by current segmentation techniques, leading to low generalizability and accuracy. In the meantime, the boundaries between osteosarcoma and bones or other tissues are sometimes too ambiguous to separate, making it a challenging job for inexperienced doctors to draw a line between them. In this paper, we propose using a multiscale residual fusion network to handle the MRI images. We placed a novel subnetwork after the encoders to exchange information between the feature maps of different resolutions, to fuse the information they contain. The outputs are then directed to both the decoders and a shape flow block, used for improving the spatial accuracy of the segmentation map. We tested over 80,000 osteosarcoma MRI images from the PET-CT center of a well-known hospital in China. Our approach can significantly improve the effectiveness of the semantic segmentation of osteosarcoma images. The mystery of China's economic growth has been widely concerned by the world. However, little attention has been paid to the transformation of the economic growth momentum of Guangdong Province, which has long occupied the top in China's economic growth. This paper analyzes the evolution and the transformation of the momentum source of economic growth in Guangdong Province from 1979 to 2019, using Total Factor Productivity Growth Decomposition method. The results show that capital investment contributes the most to economic growth, the contributions of total factor productivity, and labor input rank second and third, respectively; the change of the contribution of each momentum source to GDP growth mainly comes from the impact of the secondary industry. Both industrial capital productivity and capital allocation structure play a negative role in driving the overall capital productivity, and both industrial labor productivity and labor allocation structure play a positive role in driving the overall labor productivity. Industrial factor productivity and industrial factor allocation structure play a major positive role and a weak negative role in promoting economic growth, respectively. With the rapid development of the world economy, the infrastructure of the nations is improving day by day. The transportation system is a backbone of infrastructure of any country. Transportation plays a vital role in environmental issues as well. For a country like China, municipal road plays an important role in the transportation system but the construction should be environmental friendly. The municipal road construction should be free from carbon emissions and the road should be of good quality to increase the efficiency of road transportation. The construction quality of the road is affected by the temperature, type of material, eco-friendly material, and material quality which makes the construction quality uncertain. The environmental issues are alarming. The natural resources are exploited in order to strengthen the infrastructure of any country. There is a need to find the ways to use eco-friendly material for infrastructure in all the developing nations. The traditional quality evaluation methods do not preprocess the construction quality data to keep track of the composition of environmental friendly material in the overall material. The collected dynamic monitoring data of municipal road construction quality are sparse and the key data is not accurate to evaluate the material and its consequences on the environment. Now is the time to pay attention to the environmental issues before any economic and social progress. The evaluation method of municipal road construction quality based on an improved genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed in this paper by considering carbon emissions to keep the environment free from pollution. In the process of quality evaluation of load, a spanning tree constraint method is also introduced to form a related constraint relationship. The improved GA is used to calculate municipal road construction flow parameters to ensure the optimal evaluation results. The lack of high-value patents constraints the reverse innovation of developing countries' local enterprises. To explore how high-value patents evolve within reverse innovation in these enterprises, this paper proposes a theoretical framework to analyze the relationships among technology, law, and market values for high-value patents and builds a three-dimensional Lotka–Volterra model of high-value patents under this framework. Using this model, this study explores the evolution path and the optimal conditions for the formation high-value patents. We take a local Chinese company, Huawei, as a case to test the theoretical analysis and make some managerial suggestions accordingly. Background: The global aging population has raised concerns about the fair distribution of elderly care resources. China, as the largest developing country, has made efforts to address population aging challenges. However, equitable distribution of elderly care resources remains a concern. This study analyzed the spatial layout and accessibility of elderly care service facilities (ECSFs) in Xiamen City to improve resource allocation and enhance the elderly care system in China. The findings provide valuable insights for other developing countries and regions seeking to improve their own elderly care resource allocation. Methods: Xiamen City was chosen as the research area due to its unique geographical location and advanced information technology infrastructure. The study examined the spatial distribution, accessibility, and equity of ECSFs. Using Python, point of interest (POI) data were collected and evaluated using the kernel density method and two‐step floating catchment area method. Spatial autocorrelation analysis identified areas of aggregation and dispersion in ECSF accessibility. Results: Xiamen currently has 660 ECSFs, including nursing homes, adult day care centers, home care agencies, and rural elderly care homes. The analysis revealed spatial disparities, with ECSFs clustering primarily in the central area of Xiamen Island. Significant differences in accessibility were found among the four types of ECSFs. Spatial autocorrelation analysis identified cold and hot spot areas, indicating variations in accessibility across regions. Conclusion: Xiamen City has made progress in allocating elderly care resources and constructing service facilities. However, equity in resource allocation remains a concern. Areas with limited accessibility were identified, leading to unequal access to elderly care resources and timely physical care. To address these challenges, decision‐making departments should consider increasing facilities, improving transportation, enhancing macro planning, and improving facility service quality and accessibility. Promoting green urban development has become a common consensus to address environmental pollution and ecological damage, but we know little about the measurement and drivers of urban green innovation efficiency (GIE). In this article, firstly, we established a framework for assessing urban green innovation efficiency through multidimensional data, then used the spatial econometric model to reveal the spatiotemporal evolutionary characteristics of urban GIE, and, finally, analyzed the influencing factors and spatial spillover effects of urban GIE. The results show the following: (1) The overall urban GIE in China was low and had significant spatial agglomeration, mainly concentrated in the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta regions with spatial locking characteristics, while the GIE of cities in undeveloped regions does not change much. (3) There was much room for improvement in the input-output system of green innovation, considering that the sources of inefficiency in most cities were insufficient investment in scientific and technological innovation personnel and innovation environment, excessive environmental pollution, and limited technological output. (4) Foreign direct investment, financial development, and manufacturing industry agglomeration had positive effects on urban GIE. Osteosarcoma is the most common primary malignant bone tumor in children and adolescents. It has a high degree of malignancy and a poor prognosis in developing countries. The doctor manually explained that magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) suffers from subjectivity and fatigue limitations. In addition, the structure, shape, and position of osteosarcoma are complicated, and there is a lot of noise in MRI images. Directly inputting the original data set into the automatic segmentation system will bring noise and cause the model's segmentation accuracy to decrease. Therefore, this paper proposes an osteosarcoma MRI image segmentation system based on a deep convolution neural network, which solves the overfitting problem caused by noisy data and improves the generalization performance of the model. Firstly, we use Mean Teacher to optimize the data set. The noise data is put into the second round of training of the model to improve the robustness of the model. Then, we segment the image using a deep separable U-shaped network (SepUNet) and conditional random field (CRF). SepUnet can segment lesion regions of different sizes at multiple scales; CRF further optimizes the boundary. Finally, this article calculates the area of the tumor area, which provides a more intuitive reference for assisting doctors in diagnosis. More than 80000 MRI images of osteosarcoma from three hospitals in China were tested. The division of labor in the global value chain (GVC) has reshaped the competitive advantage of enterprises participating in the international market and has a significant influence on the distribution of their factor income. Based on the perspective of market choice, this paper uses China's industrial enterprises' data, Customs Statistical Data on Import and Export, Word Input and Output Database (WIOD), and BACI database from 2000 to 2007 to analyze the effect of competitive strategy of a firm's GVC participation on its labor income share. Herein, the competition strategy is depicted by the quality and price of export goods. The empirical results show the following. (1) Quality competition has a larger effect on labor income share than price competition. High-quality and high-price or high-quality and low-price strategies tend to have a significant negative effect on labor income share, while low-quality and low-price and low-quality and high-price strategies have a positive effect. (2) The higher the target market GVC status, the lower the labor income share of exporting firms, and the target market GVC status amplifies that the high-quality and high-price strategies on firms' labor income share the negative effect of high-quality and low-price strategies on exporters' labor income share. (3) High-quality and low-price strategies have a significant negative effect on exporters' labor income share when competing with developing countries in developed country markets or with developed countries in developing country markets. However, the positive effect of low-quality and low-price strategies and low-quality and high-price strategies kept unchanged. Many developing countries including China are implementing increasingly stringent environmental regulations to achieve sustainable development. However, we have limited understanding about whether environmental regulations promote enterprise innovation. To address this research gap, this study empirically analyzes the impact of environmental regulations which is represented by the China Environmental Protection Law (2015) on enterprise innovation and it explores the moderating effects of official communication on environmental regulations and corporate innovation. The Super-Slacks-Based Measure (Super-SBM) model and Multiple Nonlinear Regression model are used to analyze 34,074 samples in China's A-share market during the 2015–2017 period. Our results show that, in general, a higher intensity of environmental regulations is more beneficial to incentivize enterprises to implement innovation. Meanwhile, there is an inverted U-type relationship between official communication and innovation of enterprises. Furthermore, at present, the average level of official communication in China is too high, which will weaken the role of environmental regulation in promoting enterprise innovation. Since 2012, green bond markets have boomed worldwide, particularly in the European Union, the United States, and China. Under this background, the researchers use the methods of literature research, qualitative analysis, and descriptive research to compare the structure of Chinese and American green bond markets and analyze their differences from the perspective of historical evolution, issuance standards, and market operation characteristics. The researchers believe that China's bank-oriented financial structure and America's market-oriented financial structure are the main reasons for the difference between the two countries. The researchers then discuss the strengths and weaknesses of China's green bond market and conclude that the advantages of China's green bond market structure lie in low risk and close relationships between banks and enterprises, while the disadvantages lie in low financial efficiency and give relevant suggestions. This article makes up for the lack of cross-country comparison in the existing research on the green bond market and provides a qualitative research perspective. The production of services and goods needs consumption of available material and energy. An economy often focuses on sources of high-quality material/energy first produced by nature for increasing growth. World heritages sites (WHSs) have become major tourist attractions that promote economic development for developing countries. The increased number of tourists has thus brought about threats to ecological environment. Scholars stress that it should be sustainable or "green growth" since it comes to economic growth currently. The aim of this research is to establish a sustainable development model for WHSs to empirically investigate the dilemma between economic development and ecological protection with particular emphasis on strategies that promote the sustainability. The study took China's 45 WHSs as samples and constructed a two-stage sustainable development model to analyze the trade-off between economic development and ecological protection. The dynamic network slacks-based measure was employed for dynamic performance evaluation for the period 2013-2019. The results suggest that a strong balance between economic development and ecological protection would be essential for sustainability. Spearman's rank correlation was also used to verify that there are no conflicts between the two processes. In addition, this study demonstrates that an effective government policy covering regulations of economic development and ecological protection can positively influence sustainable development. The governments are suggested to improve the section that the WHS performs inefficient. Involvement of balanceable sustainable development for WHSs needs necessary cooperation during concerned institutions, practitioners, and communities. Given the advantages of urban greenways (UGCs) to urban populations' health and well-being, the growing usage of UGCs has gotten a lot of attention. However, most studies on UGCs have been undertaken in Western nations, but the understanding of greenway usage in underdeveloped countries is scarce. China's current environmental change in urban enhancement has been emphasized by a rush of urban green projects. The greenway is a kind of green infrastructure that has lately been the focus of many municipal governments. The federal government's new, ecologically friendly approach to urbanization is the subject of this article, which offers a preliminary assessment of the role played by greenways in that strategy. UGCs are green landscape routes designed for walkers and bicycles in cities, according to landscape design. A growing number of regions and cities in China are participating in the development of UGC, with some projects meeting their goals on an annual basis. UGCs are being built in China; however, a number of challenges exist, including a lack of legal basis, the public's incorrect understanding of UGCs, and insufficient scientific investigation. According to research on UGC construction and analysis of the peculiarities of various urban developments, the article highlighted current challenges in China's UGC construction and provided corresponding remedies in order to enhance China's UGC construction. China is one of the fastest developing countries in the world. Rapid economic progress has resulted in changes to both diet and physical activity. New found prosperity, increased urban migration, and the adoption of sedentary lifestyles by an aging Chinese population have resulted in a dramatic shift in disease burden-from infectious to chronic. Modern Chinese find themselves increasingly afflicted with the same noncommunicable chronic diseases typical of industrialized nations. Today, cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of both morbidity and mortality, affecting both rural and urban Chinese. The rising incidence of cardiovascular disease has been fueled by an epidemic of cardiometabolic risk factors. While hypertension and smoking have received considerable spotlight, little attention has been given to obesity, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome. Digital divide has been a major obstacle for mobile health services for the elderly in developing countries; to assess the potential solution to narrow digital divide among the elderly, we use data from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS) and test for a causal role of social capital in digital access among elderly individuals in China. To handle endogenous problems associated with social capital, we introduce instrumental variable (IV) estimates in our models. Our data analysis shows that social capital facilitates increased digital access. We distinguish between two digital access patterns, an infrastructure pattern and a personal device pattern, and find that the causal effect of social capital is determined by the personal device pattern. Therefore, since family members and relatives increase digital access among elderly people, we propose a family-centered mobile health policy in developing countries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
