This paper examined the women empowerment issue in Pakistan. Past research, studies assessed that customary rules and cultural influence relate to women's status in urban areas. The social position of women in Pakistan seems to be problematic. However, urban and rural Pakistani women's relationships are accurate with these women. The majority of women in Pakistan are not aware of their fundamental rights. Therefore, gender classification is a vital part of this study. This analysis aimed to search issues relating to women in the literature. Recent findings showed that women empowerment issues make a broad view of past exploration in an area. In which equality policies and the role of human rights constitute an essential part are. First, as desired more or less earlier stages of the review, certain limitations and critical factors explored, such as examining records and data through Google researchers, Research Gate, and other journal sites. In many Western and Asian countries, women's empowerment has increased significantly, yet women are still underrepresented in political participation and political decision-making. This study explores the political engagement of women in a society that discriminates against them on the basis of their sex, and in a political system that is heavily patriarchal. The study is aimed at exploring the issues and challenges that women confront in political participation and decision-making in the party political space. To achieve this goal, a qualitative approach has been adopted, in which data has been collected and processed in a qualitative manner. This research conducts a case study of Pakistan Muslim League (N) which served as a sample for data collection. Thematic analysis has been used to decipher the comments of important stakeholders interviewed for qualitative data, as described by Braun and Clarke. Although literature has studied the complex of multiple interlinked causes for women's insufficient and ineffective political participation, this article presents a novel way to explore those issues and a thematic way to understand their complexity. However, the study's findings indicate that women's political engagement and decision-making are hampered for a variety of reasons. A male-dominated culture, lack of social acceptance, structural halts, gender-imbalanced political parties, societal vulnerability threats and an inability to empower women are a few of the main concerns. Numerous specific problems have been identified as well, such as the persistence of historical patterns and the opportunity gap as well as psychological satisfaction and religious excuses for the lack of political participation and the vulnerability of being scandalized, weak economic status and gender sensitivity in the workplace. Women's empowerment is a global issue, and the current study was conducted to assess empowerment among senior rank women officers in Pakistan's male-dominated police force. Women's police work has never been in endearing attention. Since police job is extremely challenging as they have to face constant threats and uncertain situations. This article highlighted the issues and challenges which were correlated to the empowerment of senior rank women police officers in the ultra-masculine department. The study was carried out in the province of Punjab, Pakistan. The convenient sampling method was applied for the selection of senior rank women officers (SSPs, SPs, ASPs and DSPs) because of their inadequate strength in the department. Structured interview schedule was used as a tool for data collection. The research in hand used a mixed methodological approach. The data was collected from 25 respondents out of 52 with the age group ranged from 31-60 years from different police stations and training centers of the Police force. This study revealed that despite the nature of the job, societal restraints and cultural norms, the induction of women in the police department is indispensable. Furthermore, regardless of women's contribution to the socio-economic development, they are still confronting different challenges because of male domination and hostile working conditions which not only hinder their capabilities but also discourage them to work with high spirit. Economic empowerment plays a significant role in the life and decision making process of women in societies around the world. Financial autonomy enables women to influence a range of decision including regarding their reproduction choices. This study was based on quantitative research design to investigate the role of financial autonomy woman in their contraceptive use and birth spacing in their children. The study was conducted in three tehsils of District Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-Pakistan. A sample of 413 married women was selected through multi-stage random sampling technique. Primary, data was collected through interview schedule. Univariate and bivariate analyses were conducted to derive study findings and conclusion. Findings of the study showed that economically empowered women were taking equal part in financial decision-making of household and they have more freedom and autonomy of using contraceptives with respect to their counterparts. Further, those women whose decisions were valued regarding the purchasing of precious things for their houses had more freedom in using contraceptives, while the role of economically poor women were minimum in contraceptives use. The study suggests that provision of education, job opportunities and gender equality and awareness raising can enhance women‟s financial autonomy which further affects their use of contraceptive uses positively.
