This study contributes to the existing body of research by examining the mediating effect of ethics in the relationship between mathematics teacher cooperation and readiness. It fills a gap in the literature by investigating the ethical dimensions of collaboration and their impact on readiness for the industrial revolution. This study aims to determine the mediator effect of ethics between the relationship of Mathematics Teacher Cooperation and Readiness in Facing the Era of Industrial Revolution. The study involved a total of 231 mathematics teachers in Indonesia and a total of 384 mathematics teachers in Malaysia using simple random sampling. A survey was conducted to determine the readiness of mathematics teachers in facing the industrial revolution. This study used SEM analysis (using AMOS software) to determine the model of teacher readiness facing the era of industrial revolution such as the direct effect of mathematics teacher cooperation and readiness in facing the era of industrial revolution, the essence of ethics as mediators of the relationship between mathematics teacher cooperation and readiness in facing the era of industrial revolution. The study findings showed collaboration has significant effect on IR4.0 readiness and the direct effect of collaboration on ethics was also significant. Indirectly, ethics has a significant mediating effect in the contribution between collaboration on the readiness of IR4.0 among mathematics teachers in Indonesia and Malaysia. A partial mediator occurred in the results of this study. In conclusion, the study's implications and recommendations emphasize the importance of collaborative practices, ethics, and cross-cultural considerations in preparing mathematics teachers for the Industrial Revolution era in Indonesia and Malaysia. The Covid-19 pandemic has prompted substantial changes in elementary schools, including Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, in adapting their learning methods. This situation has posed several challenges, particularly in implementing distance learning. The objective of this research is to analyze the distance learning model of mathematics in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Qualitative research methodology was employed for this study. This research was conducted in one of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah located in South Tangerang city, Banten Province, Indonesia. The participants included school principals, vice principals responsible for curriculum, and teachers conducting mathematics classes through online distance learning. Data collection utilized methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis comprised four steps: data collection, data reduction, data display, and data conclusion. The results showed that the distance learning model of mathematics is delineated through various aspects. These include the preparation of an emergency curriculum during an emergency curriculum during the Covid-19 pandemic, the implementation of online distance learning procedures involving teachers, students, and parents, the selection of online distance learning methods, the utilization of various online learning media, the utilization of student books as learning resources, and the evaluation program of learning to measure the achievement of mathematics learning objectives. These findings can serve as a reference for developing a distance learning model for mathematics that can be implemented in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah during the Covid-19 pandemic. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Spatial ability plays a crucial role in the study of geometry. When related to the context of mathematics, especially geometry, it becomes apparent that having and developing spatial abilities is crucial. Academic achievement, particularly in understanding mathematics and geometry, was closely linked to spatial ability. The researcher conducted a study using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to uncover the latest information on spatial ability in learning mathematics. Summarizing and interpreting a total of 18 accredited journal articles from various databases in the period 2016-2021, the researcher produced a review presented in a graph, including the year of publication, education level, a method used, sample size, and demography. Spatial abilities in mathematics learning have received considerable attention in research. However, the number of studies on spatial abilities in mathematics learning has decreased in the last two years. In addition, spatial abilities in early childhood have not been optimized. This is disappointing because spatial abilities are closely related to children's cognitive development. This literature review recommends conducting research on spatial abilities in various provinces in Indonesia, emphasizing the significance of high spatial abilities for good mathematical performance. Statistical literacy (hereafter SL) has been considered an important learning outcome in statistics learning in higher education, yet studies that focus on investigating the factors and conditions that influence students' SL, especially mathematics education students, are still limited. This study seeks to uncover the factors and conditions that significantly contribute to the SL of mathematics education students. This survey study involved 1,287 mathematics education students from 21 higher education institutions in Indonesia. Linear regression analysis involving four predictor variables (i.e., gender, status of higher education institution, laptop ownership, and research preference) was performed to determine the variables that contributed significantly in predicting SL achievement. The results revealed that gender, higher education institution's status, and laptop ownership contributed significantly, but research preference was not significant in predicting mathematics education students' SL. Furthermore, laptop ownership was found to have the highest contribution in predicting mathematics education students' SL. All findings and their implications are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The goal of this meta-analysis is to ascertain how online learning has affected Indonesian students' ability to learn mathematics. Descriptive analysis was used to compile info from 41 pieces of information about the research, such as sample size, standard deviation, mean values for the experimental and control groups, and other data. Data analysis methods include testing for heterogeneity, effect size calculations, summary outcome calculations the random effect models, and publication bias identification. Forest plots are used as the data source for the meta-analysis. The outcomes revealed that the impact of online learning in Indonesia was 1,268 which had a high influence on the education process of student mathematics. The online learning model also has a higher impact at the primary school level than at the middle school, high school, and university levels. The research area in Indonesia that has the biggest impact is the province of North Sumatra. A sample size of more than 30 gives a greater effect than a sample size of 1-30. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Several studies have discussed the internalization of Islamic values in mathematics, including Islam and mathematics, internalization of Islamic values in mathematics learning with analogy strategies, mathematical analysis of the philosophy of the Quran, the secret of numbers in the Qur'an. However it has never been discused abaout the internalization of Islamic moderation values in mathematical problem solving. So this research is needed. Moreover, the phenomenon of Islam in Indonesia is currently shifting away from the image of moderate Islam and into a harsher conservative ideology. This is more worrying because it has entered the realm of education. For that it is necessary to internalize the value of Ilamic moderation in mathematical problem solving. One of the strategies that can be done to instill religious moderation values in mathematical problem solving is the analogy strategy. Facts, concepts, and principles in mathematics can be used a analogy to instill religious moderation values. In this study, describe some examples of the application of analogy strategies for internalizing Islamic value. This study uses the library method. The data obtained were publications of research artcles in scientific journals. The analyed articles include three stages, organizing, synthesizing and identifying. The results of data analysis show that the value of tasamuh in mathematics learning can be done through open ended problem solving. The characteristics of open ended problem is problem that have more than one solution and answer tolerance, so each student may have different and equally correct solutions and answers. This is in accordance with the principle of tasamuh value in Islamic moderation. Therefore, on classroom learning, the values of tasamuh can be implemented through open ended problem. 'Panic-gogy' is a term that describes the educational situation during the pandemic due to the transformation phenomenon from face-to-face learning to distance learning. Various types of research are used to uncover the constraints of this phenomenon, but not many researchers use phenomenological studies with parents as participants. Therefore, we used a phenomenological study to describe parents' views on the constraints, expectations, and approvals regarding the preparation of distance learning modules at the junior high school level (aged 13-15 years). Data collection was carried out using semi-structured interviews. Data were analyzed using NVivo-12-assisted thematic analysis. The main findings are that most parents experience problems. Namely, children do not understand mathematics material, incomplete explanations of material from teachers, internet disturbances, and quota limitations, and children cannot learn mathematics optimally during the distance learning period. Most parents want face-to-face learning to be carried out immediately, teachers to provide detailed explanations, and use digital learning platforms. In addition, 85% of parents agree that mathematics teachers should develop distance learning modules. However, because the pandemic is still not over, this study recommends using blended learning to maintain the quality of mathematics learning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Traditional houses are part of the culture of every country. Indonesia is a country that has a variety of traditional houses. The traditional Banyuwangi house is known as the Using house. This house can be explored in terms of ethnomathematics and used as part of learning mathematics. This research is focused on knowing and describing mathematics learning that integrates the ethnomathematics of Using house, thematic, and connected models. The research was also conducted to determine the effectiveness of the learning that has been carried out. The results showed that the use of the Using house in ethnomathematical-thematic-connected-based mathematics learning: (1) could be done using the trivium concept (literacy, matheracy, and technoracy); (2) can be done thematically by integrating four subjects (Indonesian, social sciences, fine arts, and mathematics); (3) can be connected by integrating two mathematical concepts (two-dimensional geometry and arithmetic); (4) through seven phases of learning; and (5) effective because 80% of students can solve problems as expected.
