Using the approach of so-called c-sequences introduced by the fifth author in his recent work, we give much simpler and shorter proofs of multivalued Perov's type results with respect to the ones presented in the recently published paper by M. Abbas et al. Our proofs improve, complement, unify and enrich the ones from the recent papers. Further, in the last section of this paper, we correct and generalize the well-known Perov's fixed point result. We show that this result is in fact equivalent to Banach's contraction principle.

In this paper, variational discretization directed against the optimal control problem governed by nonlinear parabolic equations with control constraints is studied. It is known that the a priori error estimates is $|||u-u_h|||_{L^\infty(J; L^2(\Omega))} = O(h+k)$ using backward Euler method for standard finite element. In this paper, the better result $|||u-u_h|||_{L^\infty(J; L^2(\Omega))} = O(h^2+k)$ is gained. Beyond that, we get a posteriori error estimates of residual type.

The main purpose of this research is to establish a new generalized $ \xi^{\ast } $-Kannan type double controlled contraction on a sequence and obtain fixed point results for a pair of multivalued mappings in left $ K $-sequentially complete double controlled dislocated quasi metric type spaces. New results in different setting of generalized metric spaces and ordered spaces and also new results for graphic contractions can be obtained as corollaries of our results. An example is presented to show the novelty of results. In this paper, we unify and extend some recent results in the existing literature.

In this paper, we first study continuous linear functionals on a fuzzy quasi-normed space, obtain a characterization of continuous linear functionals, and point out that the set of all continuous linear functionals forms a convex cone and can be equipped with a weak fuzzy quasi-norm. Next, we prove a theorem of Hahn-Banach type and two separation theorems for convex subsets of fuzzy quasinormed spaces.

In this paper, we present new Lyapunov-type inequalities for Hilfer-Katugampola fractional differential equations. We first give some unique properties of the Hilfer-Katugampola fractional derivative, and then by using these new properties we convert the multi-point boundary value problems of Hilfer-Katugampola fractional differential equations into the equivalent integral equations with corresponding Green's functions, respectively. Finally, we make use of the Banach's contraction principle to derive the desired results, and give a series of corollaries to show that the current results extend and enrich the previous results in the literature.

In this paper, we have established some new Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer type of inequalities by using $ {\kappa} $–Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals. Moreover, we have derived two new integral identities as auxiliary results. From the applied identities as auxiliary results, we have obtained some new variants of Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer type via $ {\kappa} $–Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals. Several special cases are deduced in detail and some know results are recaptured as well. In order to illustrate the efficiency of our main results, some applications regarding special means of positive real numbers and error estimations for the trapezoidal quadrature formula are provided as well.

Let $ G $ be a connected standard simple algebraic group of type $ C $ or $ D $ over an algebraically closed field $ \Bbbk $ of positive characteristic $ p > 0 $, and $ \mathfrak{g}: = \mathrm{Lie}(G) $ be the Lie algebra of $ G $. Motivated by the variety of $ \mathbb{E}(r, \mathfrak{g}) $ of $ r $-dimensional elementary subalgebras of a restricted Lie algebra $ \mathfrak{g} $, in this paper we characterize the irreducible components of $ \mathbb{E}(\mathrm{rk}_{p}(\mathfrak{g})-1, \mathfrak{g}) $ where the $ p $-rank $ \mathrm{rk}_{p}(\mathfrak{g}) $ is defined to be the maximal dimension of an elementary subalgebra of $ \mathfrak{g} $.

The purpose of this paper is to build some new Hardy-Hilbert-type inequalities with multiparameters and their equivalent forms and variants, which generalize some existing results. Similarly, the corresponding Hardy-Hilbert-type integral inequalities are also given.

The purpose of the present paper is to prove some fixed point results for cyclic-type operators in extended $ b $-metric spaces. The considered operators are generalized $ \varphi $-contractions and $ \alpha $-$ \varphi $ contractions. The last section is devoted to applications to integral type equations and nonlinear fractional differential equations using the Atangana-Bǎleanu fractional operator.

In this paper, we introduce the notion of a modular p-metric space (an extended modular b-metric space) and establish some fixed point results for alpha-nu-Meir-Keeler contractions in this new space. Using these results, we deduce some new fixed point theorems in extended modular metric spaces endowed with a graph and in partially ordered extended modular metric spaces. Also, we develop an important relation between fuzzy-Meir-Keeler and extended fuzzy p-metric with modular p-metric and get certain new fixed point results in triangular fuzzy p-metric spaces. In this present paper, the basic properties of an extended Mittag-Leffler function are studied. We present some fractional integral and differential formulas of an extended Mittag-Leffler function. In addition, we introduce a new extension of Prabhakar type fractional integrals with an extended Mittag-Leffler function in the kernel. Also, we present certain basic properties of the generalized Prabhakar type fractional integrals.

This paper deals with introducing and investigating a new convex mapping namely, $ n $-polynomial exponentially $ s $-convex. Here, we present some algebraic properties and some logical examples to validate the theory of newly introduced convexity. Some novel adaptations of the well-known Hermite-Hadamard and Ostrowski type inequalities for this convex function have been established. Additionally, some special cases of the newly established results are derived as well. Finally, as applications some new limits for special means of positive real numbers are given. These new outcomes yield a few generalizations of the earlier outcomes already published in the literature.

In this paper, we prove the existence of harmonic solutions and infinitely many subharmonic solutions of dissipative second order sublinear differential equations named quadratic Liénard type systems. The method of the proof is based on the Poincaré-Birkhoff twist theorem.

Looking for the exact solutions in the form of optical solitons of nonlinear partial differential equations has become very famous to analyze the core structures of physical phenomena. In this paper, we have constructed some various type of optical solitons solutions for the Kaup-Newell equation (KNE) and Biswas-Arshad equation (BAE) via the generalized Kudryashov method (GKM). The conquered solutions help to understand the dynamic behavior of different physical phenomena. These solutions are specific, novel, correct and may be beneficial for edifying precise nonlinear physical phenomena in nonlinear dynamical schemes. Graphical recreations for some of the acquired solutions are offered.

In this paper, we prove two identities concerning quantum derivatives, quantum integrals, and some parameters. Using the newly proved identities, we prove new Simpson's and Newton's type inequalities for quantum differentiable convex functions with two and three parameters, respectively. We also look at the special cases of our key findings and find some new and old Simpson's type inequalities, Newton's type inequalities, midpoint type inequalities, and trapezoidal type inequalities. In this paper, firstly, we introduce some new generalizations of $ F- $contraction, $ F- $Suzuki contraction, and $ F- $expanding mappings. Secondly, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the fixed points for these mappings. Finally, as an application of our main result, we investigate the existence of a unique solution of an integral boundary value problem for scalar nonlinear Caputo fractional differential equations with a fractional order (1, 2).

In this paper, we present a general formulation of the well-known fractional drifts of Riemann-Liouville type. We state the main properties of these integral operators. Besides, we study Ostrowski, Székely-Clark-Entringer and Hermite-Hadamard-Fejér inequalities involving these general fractional operators. In this paper, the small initial data global well-posedness and time decay estimates of strong solutions to the Cauchy problem of 3D incompressible liquid crystal system with general Leslie stress tensor are studied. First, assuming that $ \|u_0\|_{\dot{H}^{\frac12+\varepsilon}}+\|d_0-d_*\|_{\dot{H}^{\frac32+\varepsilon}} $ ($ \varepsilon > 0) $ is sufficiently small, we obtain the global well-posedness of strong solutions. Moreover, the $ L^p $–$ L^2 $ ($ \frac32\leq p\leq2 $) type optimal decay rates of the higher-order spatial derivatives of solutions are also obtained. The $ \dot{H}^{-s} $ ($ 0\leq s < \frac12 $) negative Sobolev norms are shown to be preserved along time evolution and enhance the decay rates.
