Abstract

The article discusses a SNAPSHOT study which examines the differences in care and inhospital course of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients in Australia and New Zealand based on the use of highly sensitive (hs) troponin assay. Topics include measuring the rates of adverse cardiac events and the averages of the patients' predicted outcome, the results showing a lower rate inhospital events, and the use of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
