Global attention toward environmental sustainability and economic green transformation is on the rise. Green technology innovation plays a crucial role in achieving green economic development, making the study of enterprises' sustainable green innovation highly valuable. This paper aims to examine the influence mechanism of green finance on enterprises' sustainable green innovation. To achieve this, panel data from A-share-listed enterprises in Shanghai and Shenzhen between 2012 and 2020 are utilized as the basis for analysis. The results show that: (1) Green finance plays an important role in encouraging enterprises' sustainable green innovation. (2) The test of the intermediary effect reveals that green finance can stimulate enterprises' sustainable green innovation by increasing continued R & D investment. (3) The moderating mechanism test reveals that enterprise financing restrictions and enterprise debt default risk moderate the influence of green finance on enterprises' sustainable green innovation. Furthermore, for enterprises with high financial constraints and a high risk of debt default, the development of green finance is particularly important in fostering their long-term green innovation. (4) The study concludes that all four types of sustainable green innovation, namely, strategic, substantive, independent and cooperative, exhibit the promotion effect of green financial development, the intermediary effect of continuous R & D investment and the moderating effect of financing constraints. Green logistics is an important aspect of production system in today’s world. It combines various efforts to quantify and control the environmental effect of production activities in an enterprise. This research is intended to emphasize upon the ways by which organizations can accomplish positive ecological effects simply by modifying their logistics practices. This paper presents a case study of an Indian automobile company by analyzing alternatives for green practices along with organizational objectives. It is imperative to focus on the green practices in context of Indian automobile sector as the volume of vehicles in India has increased considerably during last few decades. Accordingly, this paper attempts to improve the performance for sustainable adaptation of green practices of an Indian company by selecting the best alternative obtained from the use of Analytical Hierarchy Process to analyze alternatives for green practices in the assembly and packaging processes. Alternatives have been evaluated on the basis of three criteria i.e. green efficiency, factor of safety and ease of operation. The study revealed that clinch joint is the most appropriate alternative for assembly operation while carbon positive packaging material is the best alternative for packaging. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Purpose This paper aims to develop and apply a measurement instrument to identify a comparative metric that identifies operational sustainability maturity across sectors and countries.Design/methodology/approach Using structured interviews to complete the operations sustainability maturity model (OSMM) in financial services organisations, data were compared to show differences for developed and developing countries.Findings The preliminary findings indicate that there is no significant difference in the sustainability maturity index between countries. However, size and profitability are strong indicators of sustainability maturity.Research limitations/implications These findings represent preliminary findings drawn from the financial services sector in a limited number of countries. Expansion of the data set will give greater confidence of results.Practical implications The OSMM is an empirical tool used to collect data that allows statistical evaluation of sustainable strategies used by firms in various sectors and in different countries.Social implications Sustainability is of critical importance in the economic development of all countries. The OSMM embraces fiscal, operational and environmental considerations. The research gives new insights to alternative strategic imperatives.Originality/value With increased awareness of organisational sustainability, academics have developed a number of tools, approaches and strategies to ensure commercial viability. However, few corporations have successfully institutionalised ongoing sustainability. OSMM is unique. The paper deals with urgent problems of enterprise's sustainable development in terms of finding balance between social responsibility, ecological sustainability and economic viability. A modern organization operates in a complicated environment, being characterized with higher degree of social accountability and strict ecological limits. According to this, complexity and multitasking of ensuring balanced development of an enterprise are stressed in the article. A hidden connection between sustainable development and interests balance of company's stakeholders is highlighted. Based on the advantages of T. Saaty's AHP approach for solving complicated problems, a five-level hierarchy is formed. The presented decomposition gives the hierarchic understanding, concept and structure of process of ensuring balanced development of an enterprise. Small and medium enterprises are fundamental to economic growth and job generation, especially in developing countries. These companies are crucial for the improvement of social conditions and technological development in poorer regions of the Americas, Asia and Africa. However, local conditions are usually very specific and demand a singular approach for sustainability. This paper presents some results of a research aimed at investigating methodologies and tools to support the application of Design for Sustainability principles adapted to the real conditions of Brazilian small and medium enterprises. These enterprises are mainly based on traditional products and technologies. The results of this research were achieved through identifying elements for development of a sustainable approach, with a focus on design of products in Brazil and other developing countries. The methodology considered variables specifically linked to the local situation. The primary focus was on small companies working in traditional production processes (or craftsmanship) in Minas Gerais State, in southeast Brazil. Four main sustainability aspects were considered: environmental, economic, social and cultural. Achieving enduring economic development is the biggest challenge of today's humanity. However, at present, there is a consensus that the digital economy plays a significant role in achieving sustainable economic development. The advancement of the digital enterprise is critical for obtaining socioeconomic stability and growth. In explanation, this study focuses on gaining economic progression through deploying the modern concept of digitalization. The study analyzes the mediating relationship of digital enterprise among e-commerce, digitalization, and digital marketing and their effect on China's economic development while considering sustainability as a moderating variable. The study has used primary data collection techniques, and the study sample size is 400 respondents. The research has used SmartPLS software to measure the relationship through bootstrapping and algorithms. The study has found significant positive mediation of digital enterprise and moderation of sustainability between digital enterprise and economic development. This study aims to identify the income level required for agricultural enterprises to achieve economic sustainability. The theory behind the equation used to calculate a sustainable income is explained. The ecological, technical, social and economic components of sustainability in agricultural enterprises have been identified and discussed and the importance of economic sustainability in terms of achieving total sustainability has been emphasised. Economic sustainability was divided into three components incorporating the income needed to meet the cost of living and to address depreciation and interest costs for the enterprise. Those enterprises that achieved this income level were determined to be economically sustainable. For this purpose, data was collected by using a face-to-face survey method with 181 agricultural enterprises operating in Konya and analysed in line with the purpose of the study.
