Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Belgrade explored the use of low-level light therapy (LLLT) in the treatment of secondary chronic osteomyelitis of the jaws. The study found that patients treated with LLLT experienced better clinical outcomes and a significant reduction in pain and discomfort compared to those who received standard therapy. The researchers concluded that LLLT shows promise in improving the effectiveness of surgical and medical treatment for this condition.
