Abstract: The article focuses on an assemblage of small shelly fossils (SSFs) from the Lower Cambrian part of the Kunzum La Formation of the Spiti region of Tethyan Himalaya in India. The dominant lithologies in the Kunzum La Formation include sandstone, siltstone and shale. The assemblage of skeletal microfauna includes Chancelloriid sclerites of Archiasterella and Chancelloria sp., hylothid Cupitheca sp. and Halkieria sp. Scanning electron photomicrographs of the microfossils are presented.
